I’ve been to this establishment maybe 3 times. Well this evening I experienced some sort of parasite on a crab leg that my son was eating. Glad he seen it before grubbing. I took everything back because my family was now disgusted. I only was able to receive $26.99 of an $80 order. Each employee said this was part of the crab. They all began going into the kitchen getting crab to show it existed on all their seafood. Well it’s parasites in my mind and I am not satisfied. One female said in the beginning it came from broccoli when boiled. Well I don’t have broccoli. I just need a refund. In the end I lost $50 some odd dollars with no food. Never ever going back!

Google
Great fresh seafood! The gumbo was good, I got the large size honestly it was more broth than the actual food contents. I also had the wings which were really tasty. I got the fish and shrimp as well which was fried nicely. I'm going to return soon to try other menu items

Google
I appreciate secure Uber eats packaging tamper proof. The fish was fresh. I appreciate that Home fried soft like grandma, That’s great. For $13 with fries it’s a pretty good deal. Hush puppies were fair. I needed lemon and cocktail sauce. Didn’t want to pay extra for cocktail sauce. My plate came with a creamy tartar sauce. I desired more fish and green vegetable options on their menu. No vegetables in South Atl food desert. I chose catfish of the options presented. I’m thinking a fresh fish place should have snapper, grouper And some other fresh fish/whole fish. potatoes were great and coleslaw was decent as I appreciate the quantity of everything. It was delivered fast. I could order from this place again and get the same thing but I want to try more fresh fish options,(grilled fish also) different than tilapia, etc.. and some quality vegetables other than broccoli. I could see a four star given for those reasons but because my fish, which is the main item, was fresh tasting/good old-school fried and perfect seasoning with the fries and the price was great. I think a five star for what I ordered is deserving.

Google
The food here is really good ngl but I'm used to my fish being served with sliced bread, pickles, and onions. They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for it and did not have it. Minus one star for that. Also, everything was super spicy and buttery--almost too much. My son wasn't able to finish his because it was so hot and the butter spilled everywhere!

Google
Great food seasoned just right, at reasonable prices...... what's not to love? Round-trip was about 2 1/2 hours, but well worth it!!! They also sell uncooked fresh seafood, in case you would like to take it home and prepare it yourself. And in case you were wondering......this order was all mine. 😂😂😂😂😂

Google
My first time experience here was so great that I went back the following day and ordered the same meal. The snow crabs were well cooked. The potatoes were a little under cooked but were better the next day. I visited there 3 times within two weeks. The prices are decent and the staff was nice.

Google
My co-worker shared some crayfish, man it was good l, I made my own order and drove to go get it and ate it on my way home. Not only that I was shocked at how clean the restaurant was, no lie!!

Google
With crawfish season in effect I love it. My go to place for spice and flavor. Sometimes they may be off but others will always make you want to go back I love it

Yelp
Omgeee Steven's NEVER miss!! This is my go to spot for fresh crawfish and crab!! Soooo good!! All for $30! Like come on now! You cannot beat this price for some fresh ass seafood!!! Well seasoned, not too much seasoning but just the right amount. 10/10 recommend! Especially if you're a REAL seafood lover!!

Yelp
This place came up when I was searching for seafood places on Yelp. Unfortunately there wasn't much information so I decided to stop in and check this place out. I took pictures to help out fellow Yelpers. I didn't order any food that day so I can't comment on that at this time. Look out for that in an updated review. I hope this helps.

Yelp
Been going to this place for a while and food is usually good...This time Chicken tenders and fries taste like they were cooked in burnt grease...Charged us 14.99 for 10 piece w/fries offered us two sodas to make up for price...probably won't go back..
google avatar

Ericka P.

Yelp
I called and asked if they had in live crawfish for sale and in stock ! I was told yes then I asked how much were they a pound and was told that they were 6.99 a pound...That's great ! I drove 30 minutes to them to get told that they don't have any in stock. How can you confirm that you have some then not have some within 30 minutes?!?!? Please make that make sense ! They claim they "Originally from New Orleans" but that's gotta be cap cause that'll never happen back home. They will either have it or not ORRRRRR TELL YOU HOW MUCH IS LEFT BEFORE YOU GET THERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME.

Yelp
Best crawfishish I've had since I've arrived in Georgia from Texas. The place is small, but the food is great.
google avatar

Zenzele Adande S.

Yelp
Steven's Seafood has been the best to me because I can customize my order. There aren't a lot of choices when it it comes to uncooked crab legs on this side of town and there's are much better than the grocers. Heck, I was just there today. I like to get mine from the frozen batch and have them steam them with light season and no butter. Delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Pricey!!!! Check out Tara Blvd ... The New Orleans seafood spot, better prices for cooked and raw seafood.
google avatar

Roxi S.

Yelp
Great steamed seafood and veggies, a little too spicy for my liking sometimes. Otherwise, it's absolutely great to me

Kevn4life ..

Yelp
Food is cooked to order. Seasoned just right. At first I thought the broccoli was too Spicy but I've come to love it.

Yelp
Always my go to spot for seafood boils. Been coming here for about 6 years and the quality and quantity is always the same ! Love it

Yelp
Hands down this is my new favorite seafood place. I stumbled across this place and was I impressed! This is not your ordinary fish market with a kitchen thrown in the back. You actually get choices. I had the jumbo shrimp with broccoli...I am not sure if they accidentally cooked the broccoli in the spicy boil but regardless it was good. I also ordered a 2 piece catfish with fries and I added corn for $0.65. My fries were the ONLY THING that needed seasoning! The fish was perfect! Not soft and not hard but crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. My shrimp were tender and not over cooked. They gave me plenty of cocktail & tarter and the customer service was good. I didn't have a long wait. There are dinners as well as low country boil, live blue crabs, crawfish, as well as snow crab and various fish all available as cook to order. It was not expensive and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
First time having Steven's and decided to call in my order for takeout. After placing the order, we waited about 15 minutes before leaving to try and avoid a long wait time. Upon arrival, I paid and was told that my order still wasn't ready. The service at the counter was pretty underwhelming. After being seated an additional 30 minutes or so, I decided to revisit the counter to check on the status. Luckily, the order was finally ready but one was incorrect. After waiting so long we decided to just take it anyway. I ordered the 2 cluster snow crab legs that came with corn and potato. The food was just OK. The potato was undercooked which was disappointing but everything else was good but slightly cold temperature wise. For such a long wait, the food should have been better.

Yelp
I honestly just stumbled on this place while visiting another location. And of course I'm always down for seafood. So there are tables and chairs inside but no one sits inside you can tell because I saw most leaving with big trays and the tables aren't big enough for that. There are drinks to the right and fresh seafood to the left. I believe the prices are more than worth it. I was actually shocked how much you receive for the price. I ordered two pounds of crawfish. The sides are separate but I ordered two corns and potatoes, with a boiled egg. All of that came to $16. The wait was probably no more than 10 minutes. I live probably 45 minutes from this area but by the time I arrived home the food was still hot and tasted very good.

Yelp
This is my go to place for crawfish! Nicely flavored and decent price. Call ahead or you'll have a long wait. They have a good selection of seafood and great customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Steven's is a no nonsense seafood place. From Shrimp Boil to fried fish, it should please any seafood lover. Anything there is good and very reasonable. Can hardly wait to get back to Atlanta to eat there again.
google avatar

Kari E.

Yelp
The food always tastes the same! Been coming here for some years when it was black owned and I'm guessing they asked for their recipe because it has never changed! Everyone I tell, it becomes their favorite!

Milan M.

Yelp
I am throughly disgusted with Stevens Fine food ! I have been coming here for roughly 2 months now since i just moved from out of state. I've had no issues with them excite for today. I usually order the low country boil when i order from them. To my surprise today i found a fly boiled in with my food. I am beyond disgusted especially due to the fact that i have eaten over half of my seafood boil. I do have a large following on multiple platforms and i will be informing them about this location.

Yelp
I went in recently on a Friday & expected a crowd. I typically hate Friday nights between 7-10 pm because its often too crowded. Unfortunately after months of not visiting, I feel it necessary to downgrade them by one star. The clientele has changed. It's seems everyone & anyone knows about Steven's now. Unfortunately, my fries tasted awful. I am used to EVERYTHING tasting awesome. My order is typically jumbo fried shrimp, fries or red potatoes, coleslaw & hush puppies. Truly everything but those soggy, stale fries were on point. In the future, I will stick to the potatoes
google avatar

Stefanie C.

Yelp
The crawfish is sooo good! It taste pretty damn close to back home in southwest Louisiana! The prices are very reasonable too.

Tygar L.

Yelp
Fast service, nice variety. Store purchased fresh not straight from ocean fresh but seasoned and prepared well. Friendly and courteous service. I will recommend.

Ingrid M.

Yelp
The flavor used to be the bomb dot com but lately they have slacked off. Prices went sky high especially after they stopped taking EBT. I noticed service went down.

Yelp
I am the biggest fan of seafood boils! I Know I've had the best crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs from the N.O. Aka New Orleans. So my seafood comparisons are always gonna be ranked with the flavor packed sea critters in the bayou. Therefore, I was happy to stumble across this place in College Park/Riverdale. This place is convenient and if you have a craving for some boiled shrimp, crawfish ($3.99 to $5.99/per pound), and crab legs for a decent price this is where you need to be. The serving size is healthy especially if you get the low country boil ( a few clusters and a specified number of shrimp) plus a pound of crawfish. All the seafood is boiled to perfection with the corn and red potatoes being submerged in seasoning, however, they could add a bit more sauce for the seafood in the low country boil pan so you can soak it up with a nice piece of baguette. Everyone knows that seafood is not really a stomach filling meal. Soooo if you like saucy (butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning, and lemon) seafood boils, you gonna have to add those toppings yourself, I suggest dropping by the nearest Supermarket if that's not in your fridge. Sadly, the crawfish are boiled with seasoning but come with absolutely no sauce to suck from head or tail. I'll give them credit for adding butter on the side but it ain't the same as having those boys chilling in the sauce on your way home. If you are craving something fried, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the fried oysters. Just don't do it, the price is not worth the portion size and the taste is despicable like it came straight from the ocean and fried with no seasoning. Tarter sauce and/or ketchup couldn't save those things. Overall, I will return many times because of the location, fast service, pleasant staff, and the boiled seafood!

Yelp
I finally tried Steven's one night when I had a the strongest seafood craving. I called ahead, and they actually answered! I was surprised because most of the time, the seafood markets in the area usually have disconnected numbers or avoid answering... I initially asked if they had any blue crabs, and the man who answered said that they had gotten some in that very morning. I was a little skeptical because most places have very low quality live blue crabs that are either only male or are half dead. He also said that blue crabs were made-to-order after you pick them, so no call-ins for those... However, I think you can do pick-up orders for most everything else. When my boyfriend and I arrived at Steven's, the first thing I noticed was the two crates full of live blue crab. As we were choosing some, they were mostly all feisty and many were female -- a rarity in the area. Even after we chose our crabs, a man came and picked through the crabs to throw away the dead ones. I was amazed at their commitment to fresh, quality crabs since most markets leave the half-dead ones for their customers to choose from and take the feisty ones in the back til they need to replenish the upfront supply. The seafood is a little bit pricy considering its a seafood market, but I couldn't complain because it was most definitely the cleanest seafood market I've been to. They also seemed committed to high quality, so I didn't mind the $5.99/ lb cooked blue crab ($4.99/ lb live, $1 cooking fee) or the $4.99/ lb crawfish at first. The guy quoted us at a 30 minute wait, and I was pretty sad. However, I think it actually took about 20 minutes with two orders ahead of us. As we were leaving, about 6 different parties rolled in around 7, and I was pretty glad we came around 6:30 and avoided that rush. When we got home and opened the tray of crabs, I was so happy. The way they cooked the crabs with butter, cajun seasoning, and parsley was on point. This is where I'll be getting blue crabs from now on. The crawfish on the other hand was such a disappointment. They were too watery and seemed to be frozen -- not fresh. To be fair, they didn't have any live crawfish out front nor did I ask, but these were still so bad... Some were rubbery, and some were on the verge of disintegrating. I'll never order crawfish from here again, but his is my blue crab source on the Southside!

Yelp
I ordered fish and shrimp. My first bite into the well seasoned fried shrimp was scrumptious. I usually like to visit an establishment 2x before I give a review but the good here is good. The place is clean and they take credit cards. Give them a try. Simply Delicious!
google avatar

Tanisha A.

Yelp
I am always very pleased with the level of service and the quality of the food received on each visit. The fried fish and shrimp is always flavorful and tender. Never overcooked. The size of the filets and the shrimp are not lacking. The boils are tasty as well. Very filling and satisfying. All products are fresh. Their prices match the portion sizes. Whether it be a casual dinner with my husband and I or with a larger group of family and friends we have never been disappointed.

Harper L.

Yelp
It's ridiculous to call 40 times only to get a busy signal or non stop ringing. I like their food but they need to do better.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Great amount of food for the prices. Well seasoned and not too long of a wait even though they were very busy on a Saturday evening. Definitely will be my new go to seafood spot! I ordered the 10 pc spicy steamed shrimp which came with corn and potatoes, 1lb. Crawfish and an order of hush puppies. Didn't care for the hush puppies they were over cooked.

Joseph C.

Yelp
I believe in customer service regardless of who or what you are. I was told about this place and wanted to try it Yesterday, I called over 20x and got a busy signal. I assumed they were open. Meanwhile, I drove over 35 mins all to find out they were closed. I understand COVID-19 is going on. I feel as though you all should update Facebook, Yelp, and also have a voicemail letting people know that you're closed during these times. I won't try and spend my money here when things become normal again. FYI they doesn't deserve a star but in order to post I had to.
google avatar

Yaya L.

Yelp
Seafood is on point. Even if it's a wait they will tell you if it will take 10-15 minutes. They never disappoint
google avatar

Hillary B.

Yelp
I just can't go anywhere else for my crawfish and seafood fix. The absolute BEST crawfish in Atlanta. Perfect flavor and spice. Crawfish are back in season so they're big and clean. The crab meat is sweet and delicious. Can't go wrong with potatoes and corn. My friend and I got a seafood combo with extra crawfish and it was AMAZING! Please go'
google avatar

Lilan F.

Yelp
Never had issues with the food. Order is always right & food is always great. Only thing is.. when I called in my order, they always say 15 mins but it ends up being around an hour. Prices are pretty reasonable. $43/tray (which can feed 2 people). Other than that, no complaints here.

Anjill B.

Yelp
Steve is Everything!!!!! The food Smack The inside Clean Smells clean price helllllooo , they seasone broccoli . Don't want you food made there coool get it fresh to go lol to your right everything u might need with you meal drink and all it just they place to eat
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
I love the food there, the crab legs can be a little pricey but the crawfish and soft shell blue crab (fried) are great!!!
google avatar

Conchata H.

Yelp
Great seafood spot for my pescatarian fix. This is the first seafood spot on the Southside that you can order steamed broccoli with your seafood tray. I was amazed plus the customer service was good and they give you a lot for the price you pay for. I love their shrimp and blue crabs. Their garlic eggs are ok, I've tasted better. Overall good food and good customer service. I will be back.
google avatar

Sam M.

Yelp
Delicious garlic blue crabs .. the fried shrimp is awesome! They have great prices staff is okay , they are friendly !
google avatar

Lakisha M.

Yelp
Best boiled crawfish I've found so far in the area! The price ($5.99/lb) is higher than one would pay in Louisiana or Mississippi BUT they have the best price I've paid in the Atlanta metro area for great tasting, spicy crawfish. I typically get at least 7-8 lbs each visit. Officially my go-to for boiled crawfish!
google avatar

Day A.

Yelp
I go here all the time. The jumbo steam shrimp are my fav the crab legs are always good and meaty!!
google avatar

The Peezy's ..

Yelp
Decent place on the south side of Atlanta. If your looking for a small taste of regular seafood that is. Nothing spectacular about this place although it's a plus they sell sacks ( of crawfish ). We like the set up of this place because they have a big fridge next to the register with vegetables in it you'd typically use in a seafood boil. The wait isn't to long and they have a selection big enough for your taste buds. As far as " New Orleans " style seafood we'd have to rate this a 3/10. For one the crawfish are definitely frozen from China, the po boys are on a hoagie bread that will make you cringe if your from New Orleans. The gumbo was pure crap . It was good enough to finish the po boys but the remainder of the dishes weren't finished at all. Highly recommend you try this place if you don't feel like driving to Tara boulevard.
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
What a gem! This food is delicious. I've been back twice a week since I discovered them. Call ahead and place your order and it will be hot and ready when you arrive!
google avatar

Chivon O.

Yelp
First time going BUT definitely won't be the last! Food was soooo good. Fresh food and great prices! Their crawfish is the closest thing I've had to authentic Louisiana crawfish in the Atlanta area. The staff was nice and the restaurant was pretty decent. They sell cold drinks out of the fridge. And they also have fresh seafood you can buy and take home to cook.
google avatar

Keta T.

Yelp
Freshest seafood... Clean.. Friendly and food is prepared to your liking. The food is a great price for the quality and tastes awesome. I'm here at least once a week.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
The food is really good. It would've taste me better hot. Mine was only cold because they forgot to give me my food and almost 30 min later I had to ask where my food was and they did apologize so I'm ok. I definitely try them again since the food was very tasty. Since 1st review I've ate here 727448 times and it's was great. My new favorite spot.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
I found this place on yelp.. I ordered a low country boil & a pound of crawfish. The food was fresh & sooooo good. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Catfish po boy, broccoli and gumbo was amazing! All were very delicious and fresh! I also tried the crab leg platter which was perfect! Potatoes, butter and corn on the cob included. Price varies depending on the amount of clusters you order. This establishment tends to get real busy and can be a 5-7 minute wait to place order 10-20 minute wait for your food. I suggest calling it in. Very good have told my peers about it and continue to return. Don't mind the area, location or look the food is amazing!
google avatar

N V.

Yelp
The food here is good. One of the better places on Hwy 85 with this menu. I know of 3 within a one mile radius. Nothing fancy, the food is seasoned perfectly. I didnt see fountain drinks only canned. you can also purchase fresh seafood.
google avatar

Shanese S.

Yelp
While visiting friends in Atlanta I was craving a low country boil & they recommended Steven's & I am glad they did. We order a pan of crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn and crawfish & I was in love after the first bite! Everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Corn and potatoes weren't too hard & the clusters of crabs had more than enough meat. I wish they had a location in Maryland. I will definitely be back when in town.
google avatar

Carmen I M.

Yelp
Okay.... What can I say....OMG.... DELICIOUS! I thought that this was just a fish market but as soon as I walked in I was handed a beautiful menu and you were not only able to buy raw seafood but cooked as well! Steamed or fried. I got to pick out my own crab clusters and I asked for them to be steamed with obay and the really nice woman said "Okay, but we have our own seasoning " I said okay use yours. Thank God I did! The Damn Crab Clusters tasted like a a whole meal! I mean the seasoning was soooooo good! It tasted like I was eating meat! I also ordered the shrimp cakes which were New Orleans spicy but delicious! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE STEAMED CRAB LEGS WITH THIER SECRET SEASONING! WOW!
google avatar

Yelp
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking for a place like this since I arrived in Atlanta via New Orleans via Chicago since 1999!!!! My journey is over!!! I'm from Chicago and lived in New Orleans for awhile. In the NO, they have spots all over the city that sell spicy crab boil fare. This includes everything on their menu. My favs are crawfish, shrimp, turkey necks, corn, potatoes, and sausage. So, my first time just to try them out, I get the crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage, and turkey neck. The turkey neck is the tell all! If that's good and tender and seasoned just the right spicy, it's a true indicator that the crawfish will be good as well. The turkey neck is the bomb! It was everything anyone would want! Tender! Spiced just right. I like it really spicy so I asked for extra spicy... The potatoes could have had more of an "internal" spice. It just seamed as if it was just boiled in water and they slapped some Old Bay on it. As opposed to the New Orleans true style where all of the crab boil is truly marinating in the crab boil, like all day. That's the main difference in the New Orleans restaurants here and there. In New Orleans it's sitting like buffet style in a line, everything, sitting/ marinating in crab boil so all of it is always spicy. They don't shake the spice on in the form of Old Bay. In fact, they don't even use Old Bay at all at these spots. I digress... Because of this though, there's never a wait for the food. You just go down the line and add as you go. It's only a wait if you order wings or something to that nature. I digress again. I'm fine if the corn, potatoes, sausage isn't soaking in the crab boil because those aren't the star of the show for me. The true stars are the TURKEY NECKS, AND CRAWFISH. The crawfish shouldn't have the spice shaken on with Old Bay. That's disgraceful!!! It wasn't here. They obviously cooked it in crab boil!!! After I had the turkey necks and found they were the truth, I promptly went back for some crawfish!!! They were PERFECTION!!! I ate 4lbs in a half hour! I wish I didn't live so far from there as I was only in the area for a hair appointment. Looks like I'll be getting my hair done more often!!!

Yelp
Great place to eat. I had the catfish combo that came with coleslaw. It tasted super fresh and the slaw was very good. It also was only $7.99. Very well priced. I definitely will be back for more.

Charece S.

Yelp
Came in and placed an order and waited over 45 minuets just for them to tell us that they "forgot our order" this will be my first and last time here!
