Google
What a great pizza! It's really delicious, cheesy, and has just the right thickness. I tried the veggie and chicken parmesan half-half, and it’s now one of my all-time favorites. All the toppings are well-prepared, and the atmosphere of the place is relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy your food. The customer service is excellent, too.

Google
Steve's Pizza in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a delightful mom and pop shop offering great food at decent prices. Their cheeseburger sub is an absolute standout—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The menu has a variety of tasty options, from classic pizzas to hearty pasta dishes. With friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, Steve's Pizza is a must-visit. Don't miss out on their incredible cheeseburger sub!

Google
All-around great stop. Really tasty and well-made pizza at a great price. The pies were ready pretty much immediately and the fellows there seemed like real good dudes.

Google
Got a large pizza the way I liked it, after a long hard day. Very tasty and fresh, and it made for good leftovers as well :)

Google
I have ordered from Steve’s twice for work and everyone raves about the pizza. It is SO good! We have ordered the meat lovers, pepperoni, cheese, and veggie. Highly recommended!

Google
Our extra cheese , extra sauce pizza was just fine! If we're ever in the area we will be back!

Google
Stopped in for a few slices. Was actually surprised how great they were. It's a New England style Greek pizza done to perfection. The interior looks like a time capsule of old school mom and pop pizza places, but they sure can make a great pizza. 5 Star.

Yelp
Our go to spot in Waltham! Looks are deceiving, inside you will find food that always hits the spot, and a true locally owned family business with wonderfully kind and generous owners! If you're looking for your classic neighborhood pizza joint that feels like going home to visit family, look no further! Everything we've tried is delicious but a few of our favorites are their Chicken Caesar wraps (regular and buffalo!!), subs, mozzarella sticks, and french fries. Also love their pasta dishes! You really can't go wrong at Steve's!

Yelp
Ill start by pay attention to their fake "old school" phone.. (which by the way I loved the thought of it, even after they F'd up, because you know, I love old school.). Anyway, I called and ordered a lg chicken salad sub with lettuce, tomato, toasted and a lg stk&cheese, extra cheese, mushrooms, light peppers, onions and mayo, toasted.... I was so hungry after working all day, overtime in fact, and decided after 15 min, I wanted onion rings... so I called back to order them. The response I got was, "oh I'm glad you called back because we don't have any chicken salad left". I asked why they didn't call me to tell me.. THEY CLAIM, they can't see your number because the number is gone wnd they don't have caller ID. Which I STILL wasn't knocking them for it, (because again, I'm old school and can appreciate it.) Well I got home and the "change sub" because they didn't have chicken salad, didnt have extra cheese, no mayo, no peppers, no mushrooms, no onions.. no real biggie, but kinda is.. so before I could even ask, they put "STEVE" on the phone. He told me I was ridiculous and I asked him, if he was going to listen.. he told me to "fuckoff" and hung up on me!! Steve is a business owner! There is no food good enough (not saying they have horrible food, but it's SURELY not the best) that makes it ok to treat a buying customer this way!! STEVE HUNG UP ON ME!! you can bet your bottom dollar, I drover BACK there and told them I want my money back! Which was given to me without hesitation after the clerk (definitely on drugs) yelled and swore at me!! UNACCEPTABLE! I could've handled the mistake, we are human. I have been customer service since 14 years old.. and either you have it or you don't. As a business owner, the customer is always right, even when you don't agree 100%. I surely wasn't wrong more than 3% and STEVES PIZZA HAS GONE DOWN HILL. They have drug addicts working there and have no respect for there customers. #DOBETTER

Yelp
Wow we were impressed by this place tonight! My brothers and I ordered takeout, one Buffalo Chicken and one Pepperoni Pizza. Pizza was ready in 15 minutes flat. The place is your classic pizzeria specializing in takeout and delivery. Classic checkered floor, Punic style tables if you wanna sit down for a slice, but everyone's there for the to go orders. Pizza was ready when I arrived and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. To say that we were impressed by the pizza is an understatement. We are from NJ and used to NY and NJ pizza which is hard to match. I rarely order pizza outside NY or NJ but this pizza surprised all three of us. The crust was crispy on the outside and not dry and hard. It was also sturdy enough to hold the thick fresh pieces of chicken on our pizza. The chicken on the pizza tasted like actual chicken someone cooked fresh before adding it to the pizza. Steve, whatever you're doing keep doing it!

Yelp
I don't understand the hype. It just wasn't that good. Pizza had potential but was under cooked. The meatball sub........come on...Frozen Meatballs. I would recommend to go someplace else. Sorry.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with this pizza shop selection! I was visiting a friend in Waltham and we ordered takeout - solid pizza! Thin crispy crust, great cheese. We added extra sauce which was spot on definitely worth trying a slice!

Yelp
Good stuff! Greek style pizza which i always enjoy since it is usually a little thicker. Never been much of a snob about the crust, probably is frozen but i don't really care because their pizza tastes good. The only reason i don't give it a full 5 is because i have never had anything but the pizza so far. I have been here a few times since moving to Waltham and everyone working has always been super nice!

Yelp
Good food (more or less standard menu for a pizza place), they make it super quick (did my gyro in under 5 minutes) and during lunch (wasn't busy, but still). And the gyro is excellent. The prices are good, under $10. It's clean and service is friendly. We sometimes use them for work, for "catering" less formal events/groups and they handle that well. I'd recommend this place, if you're in the mood for pizza/subs/etc - hasn't disappointed yet.

Yelp
Whole in the wall pizza shop serving pretty good cheese steaks. Prices are good. 1970s throw back. Not bad at all

Yelp
Our office sometimes gets treated to free pizza for lunch, and recently we got some from Steve's. Now of course free pizza automatically tastes better than other pizza :) but nevertheless... There were different kinds and the boxes weren't marked, so what I thought was hamburger turned out to be meat lovers. The hamburg was visible but the other meats were under the cheese. Other than being a bit salty, the sauce was a little sweet but not too sweet and the crust was on the thinner side. Lots of cheese too. I would order from there (and pay for it!)

Yelp
Excellent pizza and subs, chicken wings to die for. Hadn't been in for a while but this was a great visit. Best pizza in Waltham!

Yelp
We order delivery from here at least once a week and they're always very quick. I usually get the Roast Beef Club which comes with fries and it's sooo good. The fries are probably the best I've had in a long time. They're crispy on the outside with just the right amount of seasoning.

Yelp
Perfect little pizza joint. I don't know if it was Steve at the register and cooking food, but that guy was awesome. The pizza was solid, the place clean, and service stellar. PS I love the way the onions were on this pizza-lots of super thin slices perfectly cooked. The crust was unique to me - it was a pan pizza, not thin but light and crisp.

Katie M.

Yelp
Open now with social distancing measures. Run by only family members at this time. Pizza is cooked at over 500 degrees so no worry about germs or viruses. Felt safe here so had my first outside meal during lockdown. Pizza was fab! Crispy crust, just enough sauce and cheese. Will be coming in often even after lockdown ends!

Yelp
This is just good, honest lunch fare with no frills. Yeah, the parking lot looks like it was last paved under the first Bush presidency, and it can be hard to tell where it is, but the food is fresh, the prices are reasonable and the people who work there make a long, thankless day at work a little better.

Yelp
My co-worker and I have started ordering from Steve's pizza pretty much every Friday for the last 2 months. The owner is extremely nice and the food is amazingly delicious!!! My ONLY complaint is the delivery guy who always brings us our food is not very nice and this last time we ordered he refused to take our tip. Mind you they are located at 1250 Main St and deliver to 318 Bear Hill Rd which is literally a two min drive around the corner. So instead of getting Steve's pizza for lunch today (Friday 11/30/18) we went elsewhere.

Yelp
I've lost track of how many times we have driven by this place and thought it was just a dump. After eating at every pizza place around we decided to give this a try. We won't be going for pizza anywhere else in Waltham for a long time. It's Greek pizza - which my family doesn't like - but this does not taste like normal Greek pizza. Great crust and fresh toppings. Steve's may not win any beauty contests, but it's tops for pizza.

Yelp
From the street, this place looks less than inviting, and to the untrained eye, closed. If my stomach hadn't been grumbling, and the parking lot a flurry of activity, I would've assumed it was closed and would've moved on to the next sub shop. 2 pepperoni slices, 2 (bottles) soda, and a special grilled chicken wrap: $16. Slices were handed over immediately, as they had been sitting in one of those warmer carousel thingies previous. The wrap was a bit of a wait, as orders had been called in and were being picked up around us, in fact I was able to devour both slices before the wrap even made it across the counter. "I think they had to go chase the chicken!" my dad said when he finally came out with his lunch. Big parking lot. Lots of cafeteria style seating. Decently nice people. Worth the stop, pretty good pizza, might be the best (and least greasy!) I've had around this neck'o'thewoods in a while.

Yelp
OMG I just ate at Steve's after reading reviews haven't been at that place in a while. People I ordered a chicken salad sub - the only thing I can say that was any good; the roll, it was fresh!!! The chicken salad was tasteless and just mayo. Decided to have a slice that was dripping with grease never again Suggestion of your looking for a sub go to Cafe Angelenos down the street

Yelp
This place is great. I've tried pretty much every pizza place on Main st, Waltham and not one came close to Steve's Pizza. Great for lunch and great subs, but the pizza is my favorite.
google avatar

Khalid S.

Yelp
I've only had had lunch here, but they make good subs with pretty fast service when I need to get back to the grind.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Worst pizza I've had in a long time. We're 95% sure it's made with pre-cooked, frozen crust.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Generous portions. Cheese pizza $2/slice. But the slices are the size of 2 haha. Soda $2/bottle. Man at the counter is very nice, great customer service. The only crappy part is using your debit or credit card costs an extra 50 cents on orders under $10. Small parking lot. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. Inside is a typical small pizza joint. A few napkins on the floor, booths, sports paraphernalia. They have the option of to-go orders, but I ate inside. On a busy road but definitely in the residential side. Stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite after an interview. If I get the job, they'll be seeing a lot more of me!
google avatar

Kay S.

Yelp
Always get the Chicken Salads and they are out of this world! They make sure to fill them with a good amount of chicken. Delivery always comes at a reasonable time with great service. Will be customers for a long time!!! Two Big Thumbs Up!!
google avatar

Chris F.

Yelp
Working class joint run by Steve and the fam. Good folks. The mom loves to yell though, so watch out. Decent subs.
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
Great food, easy access and never a bad wait. Subs and pizza are excellent. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Dhara S.

Yelp
Old school pizza place- could definitely do with some renovations. That being said the pizza was tasty and served with a smile! Good option for a quick bite if you're driving through as I was!

Travis E.

Yelp
I regularly eat at Steve's as I work down the street. Certain menu items might be hit or miss, but overall the food is well above average and portion sizes are large. Steve was also gracious when my debit card was declined due to an issue with my bank, allowing me to return the next day to pay without giving me any grief at all, which made a really embarrassing situation much more bearable.
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
Maybe everything else there is good. I don't know, but the one and only time I went, I ordered a chicken Parm sub. It was very pricy considering it was 2 CHICKEN PATTIES with cold cheese sprinkled on top. I get a stomach ach just thinking about it.
google avatar

George W.

Yelp
Used to go here all the time, now go when I can... Only thing I get is their buffalo chicken wrap and pizza. Best I have ever had, and I've been to plenty of places, no buffalo is as great as theirs

Clarissa L.

Yelp
I absolutely love their food. I am not someone who eats from pizza places often. The house dressing is delicious and made from scratch; the buffalo chicken is delectable, especially in wraps, and their pizza has just the right amount of burn on the bottom and top. Most importantly, the staff makes you feel welcome and take your order with genuineness and care. It makes the food taste even better :)

Yelp
Great pizza hole in the wall. Our first choice for lunch at the office. Family owned by nice folks. Great pizza, salads, subs.
google avatar

Stephanie Q.

Yelp
We needed a quick bite while in the middle of traffic. It didn't end up being as quick as we'd like, but our custom pizza was very, very good. The place is old and is in desperate need of some upgrades, but it was nice to watch the news on the large wall-hung TV.
google avatar

Mike N.

Yelp
eat here all the time. Steve and the wife are great, food is good, quick and inexpensive. Hope they stick around during the growth of this part of Waltham.
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
It was ok.but..I ordered Greek salad and it was just 2 olives with seeds, which is can be really dangerous.BLT sandwich was ok,decent quality.
google avatar

Erica G.

Yelp
Was really iffy about this place based on the looks/inside. Got a greek salad wrap and it was outstanding! Loved the chicken and the dressing.
google avatar

Thomas A.

Yelp
Steve's is reliably delicious, prompt, and economical every time. Great selection of beverages and accompaniments. The owner Steve is there all day, I wonder when he sleeps, and he's always friendly and attentive. I love Steve's!

Yelp
We stopped at Steve's for a much needed pizza refuel on our way out of Boston after the marathon this week. We were a little worried when we saw that there was only one person serving customers and doing the cooking. (this could be troublesome if the restaurant were full) We ordered three large pizzas for eight of us. Much to our delight, the order took all of 15 mins and were very tasty - the dough was very light and the pies weren't greasy. It turned out the man behind the counter was indeed the infamous Steve - a very kind and welcoming host.

Chris R.

Yelp
I work down the street and stop by maybe once a week, great food, reasonable prices, the owners are very friendly

Phil G.

Yelp
Run by Perry (a very nice guy), his wife, and son Steve. The calzones are the best in Waltham and some of the best in the Boston area. The subs and wraps are also excellent. Service is quick. Generally fills up during lunch on the weekdays with Bear Hill (white collar folk) and blue collar folk alike, but it's quite large so you can always get a table.

kerry r.

Yelp
my husband and i have been eating there for years we love it.if you havent tried them your missing out
