The 13 Best Pizza Restaurants in Miami

"Steve’s Pizza has slung pies since 1974, and it shows in the best way. The place looks like it hasn’t been renovated in decades — stickers dot the booths, Polaroids of beloved customers cover the order counter, and there’s a genuine sense of community that’s hard to find these days. It’s the kind of spot that kept serving the neighborhood during hurricanes, even if it meant doing it by candlelight. The pizza? Classic American style. Doughy crust with some heft, a slightly sweet sauce, and cheese that pools into greasy goodness, whether it’s a classic or Sicilian slice. It might not change your life, but it’s guaranteed to hit the spot, whether dropping in for a cheap $4 lunch bite or packing a table with friends late into the night." - Ashley Brozic

Google
A pretty good pizza spot with a nice lunch deal. There was a nice balance between the sauce and the crust. I enjoyed the pepperoni but wasn’t a big fan of the sausage. The flavor was pretty good, just not anything great. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful too. If I was in the area I would come back to grab a couple slices for lunch. 3*** = Good but no separation from similar restaurants

Google
Great NY pizza, Stromboli and wings. Great lunch specials for under $10 from 11-4 seven days a week!

Justin S.

Google
Wow, it’s been a while prior to last night’s pizza. But we ordered two giant pizzas 40 wings and a gluten-free pizza. Probably the best pizza I’ve had all year. They nailed it. And they deliver. The guy on the phone super cool. I asked about a deal. And there was a pizza in wing deal. Definitely worth it. Some authentic top notch OG style pizza. So I’m back tonight. And I’m gonna guess it’s gonna be just as good as last night. I’ll spend 100+ dollars on Pizza’s back to back nights only if it’s amazing. Great job Stevies. Now let’s get me on a frequent flyer program. By the way, the delivery was fast and the Food was hot. Did I mention the wings were amazing too!

Google
Asked Google to find the nearest pizza place and ended up here for lunch--should have been more careful. They advertise New York style pizza, but at 12:30 we got what seemed like warmed up frozen pizza. The staff was friendly but the facility needed maintenance--diet soda was broken, urinal was in repair, bathroom was out of toilet paper. Expect more, even in a strip mall.

Google
Pretty good calzone! Pizza by the slice looked a little sad by 4pm, but fresh items were good.

Vincent R.

Google
In all fairness, this place ain’t no Grimaldi’s or Streets of New York pizza but it’s close and the pizza and wings are just okay. We’ve had a meatball sub and chicken parmigiana sandwich. The meatball sub was pretty decent, the chicken parmigiana sandwich was meh! If you’re desperate for some Italian food and don’t want to drive far it will do in a pinch.

Google
Terrible food. This place was recommended by someone on Facebook as a good New York style pizza so we tried it. It's probably top 5 worst pizza I've had. Easily the worst salad. It's just ICEBERG LETTUCE! With the cheapest toppings thrown on it. For $7! Absolutely disgusting. My husband is a human garbage disposal and he said "this pizza's not even worth eating the next day". And the "dressing is not even worth saving". It's the equivalent of Peter Piper maybe. The bread knots were okay and the marinara sauce was decent, but man oh man, how are people recommending this place as excellent New York style pizza?

Heather O.

Google
Stevie's has great pizza. The staff is always wonderful and on-point. I'm also so excited, that they carry basil as a topping, now. Yum.

Martin S.

Yelp
Stevie's by far coming from a New Yorker born and raised, Is the best Pizza on the west coast. The owners and staff have been the best for years, consistent in quality and service, they will always be the best.. Marty S

Yelp
The friendly service and great food will keep me coming back, Stevie's is a local staple!!

Yelp
Tried Stevie's for the first time on Superbowl Sunday so they were quite backed up. It was a pickup of the only two (2) wings they offer, BBQ and Buffalo, but neither disappointed. They did their best on a busy day and we will definitely be back at a better time for them and their customers. Will try different menu items as the wings were good. Casual, counter service in a very casual atmosphere.

Yelp
Meh. $27 for a Large Veggie pie with no cheese. For the price alone, won't be back. Also, was charged more than what the menu said! Menu says $23 for a Large Veggie Pie, we were charged $25 AND we got less ingredients. Oh well.
google avatar

CheRich R.

Yelp
I definitely had to leave a review today based on the customer service that I've received consistently. As a native New Yorker I'm really hard on pizza makers and this place does not disappoint. Each time I come in the order is correct, the food is exceptionally great, and the people are kind. Today a young lady helped me out to the car after seeing me struggling with my cups and my pizza lol. I really appreciate that extra effort. Good customer service goes a long way with me. OMG and try the zeppoles. Thank you!

Theresa H.

Yelp
Disappointed with our pizza. The pizza was overcooked and there was hardly any sausage on each slice. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
After a day of desert riding we decided to look for a nearby pizza place we'd never been and found Stevie's. The options in Vistancia are limited and this is the only pizza you'll find. The reviews here seem to vary. I try to look at the worst rated and see why and who is rating. While some are obviously valid with service being rude or wait times I also see reviews coming from people with only one or two reviews ever and only negative. I don't tend to take those seriously and want to give a place a fair shot. While I did see some of what the negative reviewers talked about our experience was pretty good. Let's start with the positives though because who wants to lead with the bad. While the parking lot was busy it was easily accessible and we were able to find parking even with our trailer and bikes. There is a grocery story nearby as well as coffee and other businesses. When we walked in we were greeted and given a minute to look over the menu. Options are pretty good and they also serve beer on tap. The location is small, but hold quite a few booths and tables. There are a few outside tables as well. It was quite busy and people coming and going with pick up orders and such. We decided on a large pepperoni, garlic knots and hot wings. They have both large and small pints and the glass was chilled which is a definite bonus point. The boy running the register was pleasant enough and explained it would be about 40 minutes or so for our pizza. We hoped it wouldn't take that long, but again it was busy. While waiting we heard the employee on the phone sounding like they were turning some customers away because the cook was getting overwhelmed. We were pleased to get our garlic knots and wings quickly. The wings were steaming and looked amazing. They are not baked which I love and not over sauced either. They were crispy and good sized wings with lots of meat. The garlic knots were good as well. Our pizza soon followed at about 30 minutes and the appetizers held us over so it was no big deal. The pizza had good flavor, my son was happy with the amount of pepperoni and crust was a bit crispy and not soggy which I liked. So on to the negative. I heard a little attitude from the counter employee when people picking up orders came in at their told pick up time to food not being ready. There's nothing to argue if you told someone good would be ready and it's not just apologize and thank them for their patience don't argue minutes. For us we had a pretty good experience. We enjoyed our food and service for us was ok. As I said I can see why some find customer service rude, wait times long and such. Just remember that this is a local owned business, it can get overwhelmed as it's a very busy spot. Have some patience and kindness. If you're looking for a big chain type place this may not be for you.

D L.

Yelp
Great pizza in a small, yet comfortable location! So much better than the chains. We just moved to the area and found this convenient, very tasty and very friendly service!! We plan on returning soon.

Madonna E.

Yelp
The pizza is fine, but if you don't order pizza--I ordered a caesar salad tonight with chicken--no--a chicken wasn't ordering it with me. It was a salad with chicken in it. Anyhoo---it was dry and dismal. The chicken was in the fridge for days I'm sure, and the lettuce was alone and lonely on the styrofoam container. I had a bite of the pizza that my companions--delish. But if you're going to screw me over on the salad---just stop with making it like you give a crap about making salads. Waste of money. Stick to pizza and calzones and that other italian stuff---so disappointing. I'm now starving---LOL--I'm no snowflake---but it wasn't good at all.

Nicolas R.

Yelp
I love this place I go here every time I want pizza and it's just an awesome place the staff and owner are really nice the service is nice the pizza is amazing and it's just overall good
google avatar

Brad W.

Yelp
Tried the salad and pizza combo here and it was good enough. The pizza was very bland though and needed a better sauce, but was helped with cheese, salt, oregano and pepper. The $9 special also included a side salad, which was crisp and had a good Italian dressing. Will try something else next time.

Yelp
Just ordered a calzone, wings, and antipasto salad from Stevie's. The food was actually pretty good. My issue was with the ranch. It does not taste anything like ranch and was very watery. Even had a bitter sour taste. What is it made with? I know it's just a dip but since I wanted it for my calzone and wings it made a big difference. Fix the ranch and the food would be 4+ stars. Second issue was online ordering. I live 1 mile away off of Loan Mountain, yet their site and mobile app could not find my address. They proceeded charged me $4 extra for delivery. The house has been around since 2005 so it's not new. Google maps, Waze, and all GPS apps find this place easily too. So I'm not sure what's wrong with the mapping function Stevie's is using. Please fix this.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in to get a couple slices of pizza on a Sunday evening at 7:30pm... they close at 9pm according to the sign out front. Walked in, restaurant was empty. 3 employees behind the counter. We both ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a drink. The kid at the register pointed to two pieces of pizza sitting in the warmer on the counter. They looked like they had been in there for hours. The employee said "... I'll just add pepperoni to this slice of cheese pizza for him and add pepperoni to this one for you.." Which looked to be a margarita pizza slice. What??? Are you serious?! Obviously we left. The restaurant was open for another hour and a half and this is the quality and service being offered? Coming from hospitality management for 20 yrs... I'm POSITIVE the owners would not be okay with this. The last customer at night should receive the same service and quality of food as the first person in the morning. Just thought you should know.. since, as of now, Stevie's is one of very few places to eat up here in Vistancia. *** I'm willing to delete this review once I know owners have seen this***
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Pizza was like cardboard and the service to customers the night we were there was pretty rude to every customer who came in after us. People would come in and they were ignored. Two people just left while we were there. Other than convenience to the area, I honestly don't know how they are still there.
google avatar

sarina W.

Yelp
The service here is fairly standard for a privately owned NY style pizza place. The place itself, also standard but has comfortable dining and they are very accommodating while you are eating inside. They used to deliver but I don't think they do anymore. They are very close by for vistancia residents in far north Peoria, so it's a very convenient option. And finally, the most important part...the pizza itself is very good. Nothing bad to say about it. They also have very tasty pasta and other options...worth a try if you are in the area!

Shae G.

Yelp
Pizza was good. Wings were ok. We found some hair in our pizza... showed the workers... not a care in the world... for $74 for 2 pies (1 Large and 1 Med) and 20 wings... and 3 drinks... I'd expect at least the Pie to be re-made without the hair... oh well.. won't repeat. More pizza joints in the area to try.

Jackie J.

Yelp
We just love love love Stevie's Pizza & wings (among other things) with everyone watching what they eat this is a family meal everyone is on board for the cheat meal. Not only do we love the pizza & the wings but the ranch! We've never had a wrong order EVER in the years of coming here. I'm trying to get better at giving positive reviews when we get amazing service. Every employee has always been awesome. Never had a single complaint. Many times we've left saying to one another after "they are the kindest people & make us want to come more" we just love them and so thankful they've been able to stick around here! Love supporting local businesses.

Yelp
My family and I order from Stevie's once a week we absolutely love the pizza. Interesting enough it's located in vistancia what she would never expect to have authentic New York style pizza. It's definitely a rare find and amazing food every time.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
I have lived in Vistancia the last several years and love this pizza place more now then ever. I love the pizza, so I went in for two slices and saw this sausage roll (with homemade marinara sauce) in the glass case. It looked amazing and I am so picky, but thought I couldn't pass it up. Let me tell you the food was better than I even imagined. They have different inside toppings and ohhh the hype is worth it. Trust me. I couldn't even eat my pizza because I jumped in eating this. Half way I realized I needed to take a picture and post a review because this family owned pizza place is amazing! The service was great and extremely helpful.
google avatar

Cecilia K.

Yelp
We walked in to a cold welcome. The front lady was very rude. Pizza tasted like cardboard and looked like it had been in a warmer for the whole day. The pasta had some okay bites, but also had bites that tasted like actual vomit. 0/10 recommend.
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
Honestly it's good ! I'm not going to sit here and say it's the best hands down . But it's the closest pizza place to our house and we are satisfied with everything we have ordered to date . The delivery can take a long time so if you do pick up instead it is a bit quicker .. but we regularly order the regular pie the pepperoni pin wheel salads are good and the pasta is bomb as well .. so you should give em a try it's a place I recommends .. being newer to the community up here we are still exploring all the mom and pop Places ..

Oliver N.

Yelp
overpriced bad pizza, fast service but the food is awful. Ambiance is dull with bad music. The worst part is the pizza that is burnt and tasteless.
google avatar

Dylan H.

Yelp
By far the best pizza in the valley. Started going to Stevie's off of 59th and the 101 10+ years ago. The owner's daughter opened up the location in vistancia and the food is just as great. Lucky to have it close by, better than most other pizza spots in the area.
google avatar

Kristen J.

Yelp
Food was pretty good! Enjoyed the calzone. Need to try pizza next time. Nice little local spot.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
I'll start by saying the food in generally good, except the salads can come out with a lot of water on the lettuce yet. The service for dine-in though is awful. Ordered wine which we were told would be brought to the table, had to go get it. Our appetizer was sent to the wrong table twice, we didn't accept it and wanted a refund for that. Instead the manger pushed our pizza back to make the appetizer and not have to give a refund. Staff is rather incompetent and I found the manager rude. Unfortunately I won't be back due to the service.
google avatar

Kirstin L.

Yelp
Called at 5:07 for delivery. Lady confirmed my address I said yes. Put order in. She said about an hour or so. 6:21pm my husband called and asked where the delivery guy was. She responded saying they hadn't put the pizza in the oven yet. It'll be there soon. 6:45 husband called back, they did they delivery guy is out and there are 4 stops. It'll be soon. 6:50 - ALMOST 2 hours later. We called back, manager on the phone this time.. he said we said "pick up" BULLSHIT. 7:05 delivery guy arrives and our wings and pizza are COLD. They must really not like business.
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch here a few days ago. All the staff were warm and welcoming. We ordered the family size calzone and I loved the top of the calzone; it seemed possibly buttered with garlic. So great! We will definitely be back!
google avatar

S R.

Yelp
Stevie's in Vistancia is a local gem! The pizza is delicious, their pizza rolls are fabulous, and man... their subs are scrumptious too! When you have an extra sweet tooth, order some zepolis too!
google avatar

J. L.

Yelp
Great local pizza and friendly staff! We get our food quickly and staff speaks to you like they've know you forever.

Nancy A D.

Yelp
Pizza is truly NY style. Menu is extensive and the subs and dinner dishes are extraordinary. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The staff is kind and professional. A family restaurant, heading by an incredible family. You will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
We've given this place a few chances and they are extremely rude to paying customers. It's almost like you're bothering them by placing an order and giving them money. The visit of ours today will now be the last. We placed an order for pickup at 5:49pm and were told by a gentleman that it would be 20 minutes. My husband heard the same thing as I had them On speaker phone while ordering. I get there at 6:11pm and the woman said I'm early and have a lot of time left, I let her know when I called they said 20 minutes and she replies saying "I don't know who told you THAT". I responded that I spoke with a man. She turns to ask the guy working and they have an exchange in another language although he was speaking English on the phone. After their exchange she said confidently that no one told me 20 mins. We have no problem waiting if they are running behind, but the attitude and gaslighting is extremely inappropriate. I wish I could have had this interaction prior to swiping my card, I would have went elsewhere. Basic customer service is not that difficult and when paying customers are being kind, they should be as well.
google avatar

Andy T.

Yelp
I know it is the only pizza place in Vistancia but that isn't a reason to eat there more than once. Any other pizza is worth the drive. Service - I realize inflation is hitting everywhere but if the staff cannot keep up with orders in person and over the phone, the solution is to either cancel something or hire more staff. I called in my order, was told it would be an hour. I showed up in 30 min hoping, but the teenager behind the counter just gave me a deer in the headlights look when i stated my name and repeated my order for the third time. They then went to the back to talk to a woman making sandwiches and after a few min of huddling up and walking over to their computer she comes over and tells me my order will be ready in 45 min. She goes to the back and starts yelling with the staff back there. As I am waiting there are two other people who come in with the same issue and one person ordered delivery, and two hours after the delivery time was asking where their pizza was. The place was packed and a steady line of pick up and delivery was going out the door so I don't know why they don't have more front counter help? Food - Everyone's taste is different, there are reviews for this restaurant that rave about the NY style Pizza. Yes, I have been to NY, I lived in New England for 12 years and have had amazing and disgusting NY Pizza. I don't know if it is because of the rush to get food out but my crust was done but barely, the sauce tasted like it was back when i was in the Navy and the cooks used way to much bland seasoning. even adding a little salt would make a world of difference. The white pizza had nice chunks of mozzarella but again, the white sauce was made with too much bland seasoning. My Turkey Sandwich was good but when i asked for extra pickle i was told they don't have pickles. While I won't get into the name debate, hoagie or grinder, every place in NE offers pickles with the turkey sandwich. I asked for a grinder and was told they didn't know what that was, so i will use sandwich.

Yelp
Had a terrible time with the staff there. Food was average and the location typical of a pizza place. Although it is close to where I live I would not go back.
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
This place is terrible. The pizza looks way better than it tastes. We've had this alleged New York style pizza twice since we moved to Vistancia. Hoping the first time was just a one off bad day. We have also tried the pasta, wings and sandwiches only since it's so close. I can't believe this place is still in business. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
google avatar

Faith A.

Yelp
Never have walked in this place but had pizza delivered 2 times.. very average and order pizza now somewhere else. Will do a visit and sit inside and see what else they offer. It's in a shopping center close by and won't count them out yet!!!
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
NY style slice joint. It's one of the better pizzeria's in the valley coming from a former New Yorker. Crisp undercarriage with good cheese to sauce ratio. If you are complaining about a $2.75 slice then you will be in sticker shock once you head to NY for a slice. Also, who asks for Ranch with pizza?! Fuhgeddaboudit. To my fellow New Yorkers, east coast transplants and pizza snobs this place is worth it. Just wish they offered squares.

T C.

Yelp
Great food and service. Ordered online and picked up. Food was fresh, hot and delicious.

Evan H.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza and a garlic bread online, pickup time was 45 minutes, went to pick up my order and had to wait about 3 minutes at the counter before someone helped me they said my order would be a few more minutes so I waited outside a few minutes, went back inside waited another 6 minutes at the counter then someone asked if I needed help so told them my name and they gave me my order, in total an hour 7 minute wait, it was warm at best, I drove home 15 minutes my food was ICE cold, had to put it in the oven, not good for a place with "hot and fresh" on the box, it was pretty mediocre too, definitely won't be coming back
google avatar

Cate S.

Yelp
This place has good pizza. It's kinda pricey for pizza but it taste good. So if you want to spend some money check it out.
google avatar

Alan D.

Yelp
Not bad for neighborhood pizza place which is close to home. They have a limited menu for dinner items. Mostly pizza and sandwiches which are pretty good. Although I do find their tomato sauce to be a bit too sweet for my taste. They also have a small eat in area with counter service aside from takeout. I go there when I don't feel like driving because this place is so close to home.

Dorice B.

Yelp
Pizza & Crust excellent! I just wished for a little more sauce on mine, the cheese amount was also excellent, service was good!!! It's a cute and very clean little place, with seating outside as well! Born and raised in Chicago, its very hard finding a decent pizza place out, so I recommend giving it a try!
google avatar

Marcel K.

Yelp
Best pizza and wings in town period!!!!!! New ownership in the last 3 plus years. Haven't tried anything else but friends of mine said that they have really good sandwiches too.

Jim G.

Yelp
A pizza is good not the best I e ever had but it's good. The staff is very friendly even though it's a chain it feels more like a mom and pop restaurant at this location.

Glenn B.

Yelp
I'm from NJ and have lived in the Valley for almost a decade now and I tried this place out last night and it's the best pizza I have had! Delicious! Will be going back here on a regular basis!

Jim L.

Yelp
Good pizza. Can get delivery in Vistansia. Haven't seen many eat-in diners when picking up takeout.

Ciera A.

Yelp
Great food and service. Wings, sandwiches, pizza and more. Pick up or delivery the service is always so friendly.
google avatar

Cathy W.

Yelp
Excellent Pizza. Crust is perfect and they don't skimp on the toppings. A community has to have good pizza
google avatar

Ed G.

Yelp
I liver very close to this establish and it was opened up a couple years ago as a bar and wanted to be known more as a bar than a restaurant . Over time the food here has evolved and everything g in the menu is good. My favorite is the burgers and fish tacos. They also have a Friday fish fry that is a treat also. This is a nice place to sit in the patio when it's cool outside or listen to the live music inside the air conditioned restaurant. It is a nice and diverse establishment that is worth a visit.
google avatar

Quinton Z.

Yelp
This place is fireeeeee! I took a bite into my first slice and tasted nothing but greatness. The mozzarella sticks were finger lickin good. If you go here just know it's boutta be so good. The sun will always shine on Stevie's pizza!
