"There are few rituals more peak upstate New York than ending a hot summer day with a cold scoop at Stewart’s. The Saratoga County-based convenience store, with shops throughout upstate New York and Vermont, makes and sells its own superrich ice cream in upstate-y flavors like Adirondack Bear Paw, Crumbs Along the Mohawk, and Kaydeross Kreme. Milkshakes, build-your-own sundaes, and splits are offered too, but a simple scoop in the signature red cup is perfect for a quick fill-up." - Eater Staff
Ice cream here was amazing. Keith at the ice cream counter is the goat! Great vibes

I like the staff but not the environment. Like some of the ppl that gang around outside... Makes me not even want to stop there sometimes

Brought my refillable mug in to get some ice, they didn't have a sofa fountain so no ice for me. Ended up getting the most flavorful hot coffee that I think I've ever had from a convenience store. Also bought a single $2 scratch off and won $10 so my entire trip was a positive. Thanks Stewart's and Vermont State lottery

I love this Stewart's Shop. Even though it's small, the staff are always really welcoming. The muffins, donuts, coffee, and milkshakes are incredible and reasonably priced. The Free Air in the parking lot is a convenient feature.

Visit this location often and strongly dislike the loitering that takes place outside the front of the store. Lots of people smoking cigs that other customers have to walk thru the smoke of and just crowds the entrance to the store. Tyler and Tammy do a great job serving everyone there, anytime they are there I know everything will be handled correctly and never had an issue with either one of them.

I come to the Stewart’s about once a week, I am unsure of the cashiers name, but I believe he was the new manager. I was trying to buy some wine and I told the cashier before he even asked that I did not have my ID on me; and without hesitation he aggressively ripped the products off of the counter creating a scene and making it seem as if I was going to steal them. I understand that it is in a bad area but not every person that comes in to this store is a bad person, treating people like this is going to deter the good people from wanting to come in here… like myself. A simple “No” would have been better but instead he created a situation that made me look and feel like a criminal.
Hopefully management can provide some training and guidance to help them handle situations like this more appropriately in the future.
