This was really delicious. I got the drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables, and it was all around perfect. Great flavor perfectly charred tofu and even chard vegetables as well. Our side was crab rangoon which came out incredibly hot and crispy but not burnt. The staff was really nice and attentive as well. I can't believe I never came here sooner and it's right by my place. There have drinks happy hour as well. Sadly that does not include any food.

This place is amazing! The food, the staff, and the vibe is just NEXT LEVEL! Definitely recommend you check this place out. The reviews don’t do this place justice, just gonna have to go in and check it out yourself! I’m from the Bay Area, CA and didn’t think I would be able to find authentic Lao or Thai food in Wisconsin and this place came and exceeded my expectations! The food has been next level and I have already been there twice in 2 weeks since finding out about this spot. Not only is the food AMAZING, the staff is all so friendly and welcoming. The food here hit the spot with spice level, there is 4 levels of spice and all I can say is go all in and get everything extra spicy IF YOU CAN HANDLE SPICE! It’s actually really spicy but so flavorful and delicious, you can’t go wrong with any dish on the menu. The wings are a must have Volcano is my favorite. Go check this place out! Best vibes you’ll get on Brady street!

Sticky rice was so good and we will be back. I ordered the chicken fried rice and it was so delicious and the spice level was perfect. We also ordered the lemongrass chicken thighs which were good and the curry fried rice which was also delicious. The staff were also friendly.

Absolutely amazing food! Refreshing and fulfilling, too! The lemongrass noodle bowl is a perfect combination of warm noodles and beef mixed with cold greens, for one amazing dish! The presentation is breathtaking and this location serves as a perfect spot for lunch and causal dates! Sticky Rice is a comfortable location and is set up to provide you with an amazing experience; great service and menu!

Tried the weekend special, Lao bbq platter w/skirt steak, chicken thighs, and Lao style pork ribs w, 2 types of rice. Got the crab rangoons as an appetizer and was impressed by every aspect of the meal. The meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff was very personable. Perfect place for a first date if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty ;)

My sister likes this place and had my niece's sweet 16 party here. The owner Otis is down to earth and very welcoming. We had a private room for my niece and when it came to dinner I went with 2 egg rolls and pepper steak and rice. When I was asked how would I like my spice for my entrée, I said I didn't l know it was an option to I went with medium and packed the heat! The meal was super tasty and would HIGHLY recommend.

Google
Pros: - The food is SO good. Their Curry Fried Rice is probably the best fried rice I've ever had. Also highly recommend their Masamman Curry and Papaya Salad. - Amazing portions. Cons: - Not the best atmosphere - the seating isn't the best and is frankly kind of uncomfortable. - Service is alright - nothing special. Bottom line: not much of an experience but the food really makes up for it.

Yelp
Food took a bit of time to come out but it was expected for late night dinner (8:30-9pm). Its a small place but the restaurant is clean. I ordered the Thai Fried Chicken Rice and the menu said it came with garlic rice, and chicken broth. The rice was plain rice but apparently they are changing the menu to plain rice and didnt update it. Sort of wish i was told about it upfront because I would have changed my choice. Fried chicken was really well done though and the chicken broth looked plain but it tasted good too. Despite the disappointment on the rice side, I would come back to try something else and give it another shot.

Yelp
Last weekend my sister had reserved a private room here for her daughter's 16th birthday get together. I've seen my sister post pictures when she's having dinner here on Facebook so I was not only looking forward to the party but trying the food. The owner Otis is down to earth and very welcoming. After going over the menu, I kept it simple and went with 2 egg rolls and pepper steak and rice with extra sauce it's served in. When I was asked how would I like my spice for my entrée, I said I didn't l know it was an option so I went with medium. Before our meal came out, one of my sisters friends had ordered appetizers and one of them was beef jerky and it was pretty good. I was offered if I wanted any of the crispy squid which looked good, but I'm not that adventurous lol. Everyone's meals have come and asked my sister what she order which was the beef laab. I asked if i could try I a little and it was good! I've only had cilantro with tacos but with this meal it flavored the entrée really well and was not overpowering. The pepper steak tasted as good as it looked and smelled! It came with sticky rice which I mixed with my meal and as for the spice? Medium for me anyways packed a punch but was so good and the beef was so tender. The eggrolls were nice and crispy along with the sweet and sour sauce. I'm not really a fan of carrots and celery in egg rolls, but it was diced up and mixed with the other ingredients so well you wouldn't know it was part of it. I wouldn't mind ordering the beef laab in the future, but I really like the pepper steak but I would make sure to just stick to mild heat.

Yelp
Stopped here the other day since we saw it was in the neighborhood & have been wanting to find out new fav for Thai. This will not be it. It was pretty average. Tried a curry dish, the drunken noodles, tom kha, and an appetizer platter. All of it was just okay but nothing stood out. I didn't find much dimension in the flavors. The service is great tho - very kind and attentive staff. It seems a fun spot if you don't mind the music, or cold if sitting by the door. I would consider it again for carry out but pretty sure the search for "my spot" will continue.

Yelp
Always pleased with the food from Sticky Rice. My husband and I's go to is crab rangoons and fried rice. There's usually a little bit of a wait - the store front definitely deals with a lot of to go orders. Actual seating area is pretty small with counter service. Drink specials Tuesday-Saturday if you dine in!

Yelp
Heard about this place so thought I should give it a chance today. Drunken noodles with the fried rice didn't disappoint at all. Totally love their seasoning. Service was fast. Very spacey and chill inside the restaurant.

Yelp
Stopped in here for an impromptu dinner with my son, who had visited before and highly recommended it. They had run out of a few items we wanted, so we ended up ordering the Lao Beef Jerky, Crab Rangoon and Nam Khao. The Jerky was chewy and crispy with a nice subtle hint of spice. The Crab Rangoon was smaller in size than I am used to, but that wasn't a bad thing. They were crispy and delicious, with the taste of sour cream not as strong as is usual. The Nam Khao, which we ordered with medium spice, was crispy and delicious. I especially loved the cilantro mixed in, and wished there was more. There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu, that I want to go back and enjoy this beautiful spot some more.

Yelp
Maybe it should be renamed "Hard, Dry Rice MKE". Had three items: crab rangoon, chicken fried rice, and volcano chicken. Crab rangoon was ok. Chicken fried rice and volcano chicken were fairly mundane, no depth of flavor characteristic of Asian cuisine. Was going to take photos, but they were so unappealing, I didn't want to spoil your appetite with photos. Other Asian restaurants in the neighborhood are far more interesting and tasty-- try Emperor of China, or EE-sane for example!

Yelp
Solid Thai food in the area for delivery! Portions are a good size, the spring roll was ok, the satay was great! I got the pad kee mao with tofu, they could've gone heavier on the broccoli but overa great flavor and spice. Partner got green curry medium spice and boy was it hot! The site didn't specify that rice was included with the curry so we ended up buying a side but otherwise everything was great. Do wish they offered a smaller portion of fried rice as we love it but couldn't justify a full meal size

Yelp
I really enjoyed my tofu pad Thai! Very tasty! Definitely ordering more! The portion is very decent size. Service very fast.

Yelp
Oh Lordy Lordy!!!! These folks DO IT RIGHT!!! The Lao Sausage, the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, the Pork Fried Rice! So fresh! So flavorful! I would recommend staying at or below Medium when they inquire about the spice/heat level....I LOVE Medium...but it WILL make you sweat in a good way! This place has a great vibe, is spotlessly tidy, won't break your bank and the owners and food are fabulous!

Deb D.

Yelp
Best Thai in the US. Very spicy so listen to the waiter when they recommend a spice level. Amazing dishes

Chef Malaysia C.

Yelp
If I could give a 0 star I would. They gave me some dried up fried chicken for Volcano chicken and a goop of something for combo fried rice. My lunch companions even kept saying my food smells funny.

Yelp
This was one of the first places we tried in Milwaukee after moving here. The tom yum soup was very disappointing and more like water with chili flakes in it. The rest of the food was as well. Service was good; we have to go back to try other dishes and also heard that there is a more upbeat part of the restaurant that is open on certain days that we need to check out.

Yelp
Another great place to go in MKE! Loved the drunken noodles. The ambiance was cool and the place get very busy, but don't let that discourage you from coming.

Yelp
Ordered red curry but it had no color or flavor, a huge bummer since red curry is my favorite food and hadn't had it in awhile. The chicken was also super dry. Excited to have in the neighborhood and will give it another shot.

Molly D.

Yelp
Close their kitchens too soon at night to concentrate on their bar customers. Wanted to order to go & was not given good service at all & wouldn't cook a order as the kitchen closes way before the bar. They need to post it if they close it early or close the kitchen & the bar at the same time. Also need to do Uber Eats. Was excited to try but not so much now.

Co N.

Yelp
For a place that is named Sticky Rice, the mango sticky rice was terrible. The "sticky rice" was dry and "not" sticky and the coconut sauce was bland.

Timothy S.

Yelp
I've only eaten here once and ordered a pretty basic dish, pad See Ew. But it was the most bland version of this dish I've ever had anywhere. Rating only based on my one visit.

Jami L.

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch spots ever!!! I'm slowly working my way through the menu and everything I've had so far has been delicious. The Laab is so flavorful. The Thai Basil Fried Rice is another great option. The service is attentive and everyone is very friendly. It's a clean and chill environment. I cant wait to go back

Ivelisse V.

Yelp
My friend and I went and waited for while and we didn't even get acknowledged so we left elsewhere.

Picky G.

Yelp
DELICIOUS fast service with a cute bar and tables. amazing music. beware the spice. ive adored the nighttime staff both times i've gone.

Hanna C.

Yelp
always do pickup. It's the best love it . Veggie egg rolls are soooo good, would recommend to everyone
