"Buttery yet light biscuits abound at this roadside restaurant in Kennesaw. There are several biscuit sandwiches to choose from here, including a sausage, egg, and cheese and fried chicken. The place gets busy and the line can be long, especially on the weekends. These biscuits are worth the wait." - Eater Staff

Google
Great place for a traditional country biscuit. It has always be one of the best places in the area for breakfast. We got a country ham egg and cheese biscuit and it was delicious and buttery. I recommend going in off times to avoid the local crowds.

Google
Today hubby and I checked out this amazing spot based off the high stars reviews. The biscuit was just as I expected, delightful!! I ordered the popular fave pork loin biscuit and hubby tried the bread steak fritter biscuit. The meat + cheese + egg was the combo except I had no cheese. The biscuit was buttery, soft and golden. The meat was plenty and tender. I was full after eating just one. It can be shared between 2 kids or light eaters. The price of a biscuit is less than $8. It is definitely a memorable shack in the community and I pop love how friendly everyone is. You can sit inside and outside. There was limited parking but available parking was quick as some customers grab and go!

This hidden jem is a jewel that's worth finding. The place really has a southern touch with the pictures on the wall and the warmest greetings. Lovely ambience of the restaurant with music playing from all genres of music. All the ladies had a smile when they served your food or taking your order. Locals and out of town visitors this is a place for some good southern breakfast. Southern hospitality at its best!

We’ve lived off Hadaway a year this month and I’ve meant to get over there. This Saturday morning I did. And so glad I did! Excellent biscuits and cinnamon rolls. I took to go so didn’t stay. Service was fast especially since not a chain and a substantial line. About 15 minutes total. The biscuits were phenomenal! Cinnamon roll too. It’s orange cream based. My good god! Will be back!!!

Google
Love this place. Great food. Great people. Always friendly and smiling and courteous. Have never had a bad item off their menu. Go eat here - you’ll be happy you did!

Google
Love this place! We have come periodically over the years. We have started coming more frequently when we realized all we ever do is compare other biscuit places to here. The food is amazing and the people so friendly.

Google
Tiny spot with great biscuits. Don't expect to go and dine in as they have two large tables typically, taken up by people waiting for food, and that's it. This is a take and go place and the biscuits are great, well done, tender, and not overly thick. You can't tell from the photo but that is a nice thick piece of sausage. Scrambled eggs on a biscuit is a negative for me (that's all about their convenience) but I'm not about to subtract a point for it. This may be my top biscuit spot in the REGION now.

Google
Um, yum! Most amazing Country Ham Biscuit!!! My kids had the sausage biscuit, bacon egg and cheese biscuit, cinnamon roll and brownie and they both enjoyed their food as well. The open hours for this spot is the only drawback that I have found; only open Wednesday through Sunday 7-11:30 which makes getting there tough sometimes but definitely worth it when you do get there!

Yelp
A great biscuit, one of the best you'll taste in Metro Atlanta. The cinnamon rolls are great too, although very sweet and sometimes there's too much icing -- I request lite icing. However, the hours are a bit chaotic. They've recently changed and now they've gone off course with the change. I've stopped by three times to find it's closed although I'm there during business hours. Usually, they'll leave a sign on the door to notify you. It's a bit frustrating because they do not communicate via social media or voicemail if they're sold out or closed due to an emergency. I'd like to see them be better at communicating closures because it's happened several times in a short period. I've seen people drive up with me, we're all trying to enter then we're met with the realization that they're closed. I call ahead but normally there's no answer. I hope everything's going to be business as usual very soon. I can't wait to finally catch them open again, I've been having trouble with it primarily on Sundays. When the hours aren't so dysfunctional, it's a 4 star experience just considering food. When there's no organization, 3 stars just simply because of inconvenience.

Yelp
Place has been here forever. Converted old gas station. Some of the best biscuits you'll ever eat. It's small with a few tables inside. There will be a line but moves quickly. I recommend the country ham & egg biscuit. It's delicious. The homemade sweet rolls are wonderful with a light orange flavor icing.

Yelp
Great little stop in a residential area Why I make a stop +'s: + Great prices for quantity or size + Friendly service. It's early and the check out was bright + Cozy dive. Park in a gravel lot and enter into a dining area with walls covered in photographs and vintage signs + Tasty biscuits. They have butter and the crispy top adds a crunch that works Why I make a pass -'s: - Health score of 82 of 100 makes me wonder

Yelp
Probably the best biscuits around. Some other places might come close but no one is better. I need to try more of their menu but I'm stuck on their bacon, egg & cheese biscuit. Small place. It gets busy. You might have to wait but they serve them up pretty quick. The line moves. In my experience, the customers in line have been fun and polite. That makes the waiting time much nicer.

Stacy S.

Yelp
When you get there, there will be a line. Yet despite it being morning, you won't hear a peep of complaining. The majority of those patrons have been there before. They know the drill. And they know food this good takes time. And boy howdy are they right. Fluffiest biscuits I have ever had filled to he brim with freshly prepared filling: in the instance of this photo, egg and cheese. Don't sleep on this place! (Literally, their late day ends at noon!) The inside is small with a few tables, but with the amount of people in line, it's better to eat in your car. The walls are covered in photos of patrons and employees sharing smiles.

Yelp
Opening the door to this cute establishment reminded me of walking into Luke's diner on Gilmore Girls. Everyone knew each other's name. They greeted you as you came in. When they left the diner EVERYONE said good bye have a great day. If this isn't magical in today's world I don't know what is. All meals are made to go. We sat down and ate there. The biscuits your choice of quality meats, eggs and cheese such comfort food AMAZING. The cinnamon rolls (sooo good) bagged to go home after a good size biscuit meal. The staff made you feel so welcome. The young lady at the register is a goldmine to this operation. Made us feel so welcome and they also trust you to get your own coffee and beverages. When we left the staffed thanked us for coming and please comeback soon. Honestly we can't wait to go back. Thank you to a beautiful start to our day.

Brenda M.

Yelp
Awesome breakfast biscuits. Met owner and she was personal and hospitable. I will visit again. .

Yelp
In and out with a egg and Cheese Biscuit was terrific. I haven't had a homemade biscuit in a very long time, but needless to say, regardless this was great. I didn't make it home or able to take a picture of it because it didn't make it on the ride back. I missed out on the cinnamon bun but I will definitely be back to try it.

Christopher E.

Yelp
So good for so long! Hole in the wall with the best dang biscuits in town. We've been going here for over 25 yrs now. My favorite is tenderloin egg and cheese and or cinnamon rolls

Art H.

Yelp
Biscuits are large, buttery and somehow crispy. They can be busy at times, but the line always seems to move. And nothing against the establishment, but it's your classic hole in the wall.

Clint E.

Yelp
First time visitor! The restaurant is a cozy little "hole in the wall". We ordered two steak, egg, cheese biscuits an order of grits, and an iced tea. The biscuits were good, had a nice texture and taste. The steak portion more than filled the biscuit and when we were finished we were quite full. The biscuits were a pinch pricey, but they were tasty so no worries there. If in the neighborhood, we would visit again.

Greta Z.

Yelp
I've been here a number of times. They've had my favorite biscuit for years, but the chicken appears to be a freezer filet. Why? The sausage is okay. The pork is good, but I wouldn't know what it is if I didn't order it. I just can't seem to find the right protein. Sadly, my biscuit this week was not like the biscuits I've had here before. They were slammed on a Saturday, so I'm curious if they had to pull some extra biscuits out of the freezer. It just wasn't the same. My husband said it was more like a dense croissant texture. So disappointing, especially after waiting for 20 minutes for my food. The place is so country cute - from another era entirely - but I'm tempted to stick with Martin's where they never let me down.

Brandy M.

Yelp
I just realized that I'm upset with myself...as an "Elite" I can't believe that I've never done a review for Stilesboro Biscuits. SMH..LOL I've only been here 20 or more times. LOL Don't judge a book by the exterior of its restaurant! It may not look like much outside, but they've got a great biscuit waiting inside for you! The parking lot is relatively small, but we always manage to find somewhere to park. They are now only open, Wed-Sat, so plan accordingly. If you've never been here, just know that the lines can get crazy long, from 7am-9am, especially when school is in. I don't know how it would be possible that you've never been here, but IF you haven't, when you want a good country breakfast biscuit, you should come here!! I've had a variety of their biscuits and have never really had one that I didn't like. Not only are the biscuits good, so are the cinnamon rolls and the brownies! I mean they are really good!! The service is always top notch and if you can catch the owner working, you'll really be in for a treat! There is nothing fancy about the place, but you're going to get good food, good service and good prices! All of it will keep you coming back for more!

Scott T.

Yelp
Love this place great food ! Nice atmosphere doesn't get better than this for biscuits and grits.

Brandon L.

Yelp
It's a very small place but very welcoming. Customer service is very good. Staff is friendly. I got the chicken, egg and cheese biscuit. It was great. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Kellie E.

Yelp
This place is great! Easily the best biscuits in town. Their Chicken Biscuit and Egg Bacon and Cheese Biscuits are amazing!

Peter K.

Yelp
Biscuits are fantastic. I like the softness and the slight crunch of the outside. The bacon biscuit is filled with bacon. It is not just two strips. We he d and red sausages are nice and has a mild spice taste. The cinnamon rolls are soft and fluffy. But I think there is to much icing. I know this seems odd to say, but we the icing is really sweet and makes it such you cannot finish the entire roll. Which is a generous portion. The service is fast and friendly. The staff works hard to put out a quality product and care for each of their customers. They talk to everyone as if they are regulars.

Kevin G.

Yelp
Quaint little shack located off Stilesboro Rd. We've been dying for them to open back up so we could check them out. Very limited hours here: W-Sat 7:30-11:30AM/Sun 8 - 12PM. There is enough parking here, even though it doesn't look like it from the road (parking in the back as well - prob around 12-15 spots total). Love the inside of this country shack, which is littered with photos all over the walls and funny phrases. Certainly fits the style of comfy country. They have seating on the front porch if needed, but nothing inside. Ordering is simple and it's pretty much all biscuit cuisine. They do have a fridge for drinks and a counter with coffee and tea. Although it was very busy when we got there, our food didn't take long. I got two bacon/egg/cheese and my gf got the country ham. For my biscuit, I was so-so on it. My gf had come previously a few days before and said the biscuit quality then was much better. I guess cooking from scratch yields different variations but today's just wasn't fluffy enough for me. In my mind, I was expecting a larger and fluffier biscuit. If your niche is biscuits, then that sets the expectation. Overall, love the shack and atmosphere and friendly service. Might need to come back and try them out again. Just wasn't super impressed with my meal, and I hate saying that. Was so looking forward to these biscuits being something else. Another day, for sure though! Worth checking out!

Princess Sasha O.

Yelp
Biscuits are delicious and service is fast! There is a cute outside space to sit and tables inside to sit down and enjoy the food. On my way to work I can run in and get a biscuit and it's fresh. Sssoooo good.

Mads B.

Yelp
Finally gave this place a try for breakfast. I've been going to Martin's biscuits for years and today we decided to do a head-to-head competition between the two. We ordered pork tenderloin and steak biscuits from both places. Both are wonderful, but hands down Stilesboro won. The biscuit was a little fluffier and not burnt. Both meat options were bigger portions and better quality. Also, we went to Stilesboro about 9:30 on a Saturday, and it only took probably 10 minutes total to get our food. Martin's was almost an hour wait. I didn't give this place 5 stars because the biscuit was very good but not the greatest I've ever had. Also, none of the employees wore masks even though we are in a surge of the pandemic. We also got the cinnamon rolls, and you should, too! Very soft. Lots of icing. There is a faint orange flavor to them that I think is unnecessary but doesn't take away from their goodness. Don't miss out!

harold s.

Yelp
Home made - just like Mom or Grandma, if you were raised in the South. It's in an authentic old shack with all the snarky signs you need to keep you occupied while you wait for the baked goodies.

Lisa H.

Yelp
As the signs on the side of the building read, Park Your Biscuit Here! Park your biscuit/vehicle in the spaces available on both sides of Stilesboro Biscuits. The breakfast joint was tinier than I expected, with two tables inside and two outside. They were doing brisk to-go business when I popped in. I decided to order the bacon egg cheese biscuit after inquiring with the cheerful cashier as to what was popular. That and two cinnamon rolls came to $13.68. The biscuit deserves all the biscuit-related superlatives! Yum. The bacon was cooked to be crispy and crunchy but not burnt. And the American cheese was melted all over the egg. A+. Don't be mad, but the cinnamon rolls didn't quite live up to my lofty expectations. These gigantic pastries were still really high-quality (tender and leftovers even held up well a few days later), but they had orange notes and I'm more in the "no citrus" camp. Hours are limited so make sure Stilesboro Biscuits is open before heading over. Bring me back a biscuit if you go!

Crystal K.

Yelp
So good. And fast! We were able to grab a spot at one of the community tables in the corner and enjoy our biscuit sandwiches. I can't wait to go back. ALSO they take cards!

Lourdes H.

Yelp
I love Stilesboro's biscuits. I love the ambience. It is a converted tiny home in the middle of a residential area. All the furniture inside is mismatched. That's part of its charm. I wouldn't want it any other way. During the school year it gets crowded between 7 AM and 8 AM because the middle schoolers like to drop by before going to school but it's not a big deal. They generally don't stay to eat. they grab their food and run. It doesn't affect seating. It just affects how long it takes to get your food. I love their biscuits, grits and bacon. They don't have a vast variety on their menu but I like that. It tells me they know who they are and they know what they're good at and that's what they specialize in. I especially like the way it makes you get a glimpse of what the good parts of the old South must've been like. When everybody in the area knew everybody. There are some regulars that go in there all the time. We recognize each other now. The place is clean and their service is fast and it's exactly what you need on the mornings you don't want to cook but don't want to get dressed up to go to a restaurant. Eating there is just like coming down for breakfast and having a southern grandma have your food ready for you.

E. Thomas W.

Yelp
Fantastic service. Very fast and amazing food. Great tasting and just what you want in a biscuit for breakfast.

P F.

Yelp
absolutely wonderful experience! Always loved the quality of food and friendly staff and it remains.

Jeanine S.

Yelp
This place used to be great, but our last 2 visits were disappointing. Are there new owners? Example: country ham and egg biscuit and a cinnamon roll. Both used to be amazing! The ham tasted like it was cooked on a flat top with old grease. Watched my scrambled egg being cooked. Now they cooked like an omelet. Poured onto the flat top and then flipped and folded.....a flat egg. The biscuits are now thin and not fluffy. We've been going there for decades and this is horribly disappointing. Oh, and the cinnamon roll was a mess. Hard to explain, but it was not the same. I hope someone will post what has happened. Thank you, Jeanine Sanders

Ken B.

Yelp
Amazing. What a great find. Nice little hole in the wall. My kind of place. Staff was very friendly. Food was fresh. Biscuit was the best I've had. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Holly C.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great place! Their gravy & biscuits is so good! Also great prices! Family atmosphere, friendly folks! Go eat there! You'll be hooked!

Jonathan W.

Yelp
This place is a local treasure and has been for at least 25 years. It's usually staffed by friendly local high schoolers and the owner is a gem. I Don't think there is a single item on the menu you will regret trying. The chicken biscuits were popular way back and are still great. My go to though is a bacon, egg, and cheese with a coffee. The cinnamon rolls are very good. I'm glad to see it surviving the pandemic and seemingly thriving. I hope it continues for many years to come. When you leave home and there ain't a decent biscuit around you know you've been spoiled by Stilesboro Biscuits.

Ryan B.

Yelp
Great biscuits! A little pricey but worth it. Support your local. Used to be first responder friendly. Apparently, not anymore.

Nancy B.

Yelp
Service was outstanding and the food is delicious!!! While you're there you can read all the funny things that are on the wall. I recommend this place!

Traveling M.

Yelp
Small free standing building that serves breakfast and they offer a limited number of specials. The best thing is the rolls, cinnamon. Wow. Wow. WoW. They are huge and great with coffee. I have tried other breakfast items and all have been super. Definitely going back.

Mike V.

Yelp
Stilesboro began life as a Civil War era General Store where I'm certain more than one of Sherman's Arsenist band succumbed to the artery clogging effects of Stilesboro's Sausage Gravy. Being "Born and Bred" in Atlanta God has thankfully graced me with a natural immunity. Personally, I found the Gravy and accompanying Biscuit delicious though its presentation was slightly unusual. Instead of a split Biscuit served on a plate, they tear their biscuit into bite sized pieces placed in a bowl. A Sausage Patty is placed on top also torn into small pieces. Then the combination is lovingly smothered in White Gravy goodness. They say that God is in the details ... and God is this good.

Amanda C.

Yelp
This place is just absolutely the best. The food is incredible. The staff is adorable. They treat you like family right from the moment you walk in the door. Try everything. Leave no biscuit untouched. They're all amazing. As I was waiting today, a guy walked in and just said "give me a dozen biscuits whatever variety" and I was literally just so envious. Give them a try!!

patient z.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype! Be here early, or they'll be quite the line!

Chelleigh C.

Yelp

Amanda E.

Yelp
Great food and a fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly too. The biscuits are large and filling.

Brandon P.

Yelp
Don't judge a book by the exterior of its restaurant! These biscuits are better than grandma used to make, but just don't tell her. After hiking Kennesaw mountain (or just before) going here for a late breakfast is a must. The best biscuit I've had in the ATL area.

Christopher T.

Yelp
Great food and quick service. Hours can be a little tricky. Biscuits with any sort of meat are overpriced. Stick with the egg and cheese and it's a solid deal.

Deborah B.

Yelp
Have enjoyed a HUGE biscuit at Stilesboro Biscuits on 3 different occasions. Always superior food---and more than plenty ... nice, friendly atmosphere with excellent service! Love this quaint little place!

Lauren W.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! One of the best biscuit sandwiches I've had - and my mom makes really good biscuits. We got the biscuit with country ham, egg, and cheese. Wow. Will definitely be back soon to try the cinnamon roll!

Kat S.

Yelp
It wasn't quite the best biscuit ever but it was close... it is a divey little place slightly off the beaten path. The place is small... it may have been a house or lawnmower shed at one time. When you open the door, you are right in the middle of the place- like the living room. There's a counter across the back and behind the counter, the kitchen. We ordered a bacon biscuit, bacon egg and cheese, a plain biscuit, and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was lovely and just the right size for the three of us to an ample bite or two out of it. The biscuits were fresh- far away from a dinner roll and yet not a flaky layered disk of butter. That, for me is the holy grail of biscuits. I did enjoy, nostalgically, the heater in the facility- the gas one like my grandma had... the kind with the dancing .

Debbie C.

Yelp
Delightful little hole in the wall. Amazing cinnamon rolls!!! Coffee is wonderful too!

Carrie S.

Yelp
Great biscuits, probably some of the best in the area. Recommend to always check orders when leaving as I have had errors on a few occasions. Otherwise, they have cute home style Southern food that you can't beat.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Best biscuits anywhere! No doubt! Great staff too. I live close by, so it is easy, but people come from afar to get those biscuits.

Sophie S.

Yelp
This place is the bomb digity. And my friend Eli works there so say hi when you see him! Great worker!

Emily J.

Yelp
I love the old time feeling at Stilesboro biscuits. It is a quaint little place whose friendly staff always greets you with a smile. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit smothered in gravy! So gooooood!

Corrina M.

Yelp
This establishment is a popular place to go with the locals in that area. They seem to enjoy the food, I myself... Not a big fan of the food here. The cinnamon rolls taste like it's made from Bisquick, not a fan. The parking is horrible, maybe six vehicles might be able to fit in this tiny parking lot. Other than that. You might want to wear some tennis shoes because you'll be walking either across from a very busy road or in back of the restaurant down a road. The area seems safe, plus there is a fire station literally across the road.

Weston W.

Yelp
This place is legendary in Cobb county, although I've lived here for 18 years I hadn't tried until recently. Our favorite breakfast location, Mountain Biscuits decided to relocate so we gave Stilesboro Biscuits a try. Overall the meal was good, chicken was tasty and biscuit decent, in comparison though... underwhelming. The building is historic and tiny, food is made to order so it is fresh. Overall decent and comparable to Bojangles southern biscuit.
