StillWest Brewery - Review - Jackson - Jackson Hole - The Infatuation

"Located across the street from Snow King Mountain Resort, StillWest’s covered balcony and spacious interior is a great place to hang out after a long day on the slopes or if you’re looking to beat the heat after riding the Cowboy Coaster. They pour a fantastic array of beers that capture local flavors like the Hucklebuck, a nearly-purple wheat beer that has heavy huckleberry notes. The food is excellent as well, especially the peppery breaded chicken tenders and hand-cut fries. During the summer, they make the best sloshies—alcoholic slushies that are a hot topic in Jackson." - Lanie Brice

To start, our server was friendly and helpful with minor changes to our food order. The beer here was very tasty. The menu has a great description of all the flavors you can expect from each brew. We go the cypress salad and the mixed greens salad with a cup of tomato soup. All were fantastic. The restaurant over looks the ski slopes which was nice to watch at sunset for dinner. Overall, very pleased!

I’ve been wanting to try the place for some time. It’s great. Excellent service. Plenty of tables (second floor) and a great daytime view of Snow King. The beer is top shelf and my partner got a fantastic mixed drink. They understand high end brewery stuff and food to match. Highly recommend.

Google
Amazing restaurant with a beautiful view. Fried green tomatoes with crab cake were on point. It's one of the best crab cakes we've had in a while. The grilled cheese and tomato basil soup was very delicious!! Grab an order of truffle fries, you'll thank me!! Service was quick, our server was also very friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. We can't wait to return!!!

Google
Had such a great time at StillWest Brewery & Grill! This place really impressed me with their incredible food - everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. The atmosphere here is fantastic and beautifully decorated. They've really created a welcoming space that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. The decor adds a nice touch to the overall dining experience. I will say the service could've been a little better - nothing terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement there. Our server was pleasant enough, but things moved a bit slower than expected. Despite that, it was still an overall good experience. The quality of the food more than made up for any service issues. You can tell they put real care into their menu and preparation. The brewery aspect is great too - nice selection of beers to choose from. It's clear they know what they're doing when it comes to both food and drinks. Would definitely come back to try more items on their menu. StillWest has the potential to be a real standout spot with just a few tweaks to the service. Recommended for anyone looking for great food in a nicely decorated setting!

Had a great meal here today! We were a party of 17 and each one of us was happy with our choices. The waitress, Alexandra was terrific, was very friend and handled us like a pro. I highly recommend StillWest and will definitely return

Google
What a great place for lunch! The view is fun sitting right by the snow king lift. We had a flight (wasn’t on the menu but offered when I asked about a flight ) - we tried the honey bee, the Mexican lager, the amber and the blonde coffee - my favorite was the honey bee second was the Mexican lager but all 4 were good. We also had the fruited sour- this was not that great, way more hoppy than sour. To eat, we tried the burrata salad- the figs were a lot (some were not really ripe enough). So overall the concept was good but we didn’t love it. The hot Nashville chicken Mac and cheese was just ok - the cheese part was super runny making it less decadent than it sounds but the star of the meal was the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. This was amazing! The fries were good too. We also saw burgers co out that looked huge and delicious. Overall with the locale, beer and a few food options we loved we’d definitely go back!

Google
What a great place to unwind after hiking. Both beers were great: Scarlet Red and Vanilla Coconut Porter. I had the Caesar salad which was dressed appropriately with home made Caesar dressing. Can’t go wrong with the view on this fine Memorial Day weekend.

Google
Nice place, great location right across the ski slope. Got the Buffalo wings, brussel sprouts, fried green tomato trio, flatbread, market salad. The cascade crush was refreshing, but I was told the huckleberry beer did not taste of huckleberry or berries. Food was overall good

Yelp
Wonderful experience. We went end of August so the weather was just right for sitting outside. We sat in comfy chairs around the fireplace area. We sat near the TV- Joe offered to change the channel (it was showing montages of Yellowstone) for us which was so thoughtful of him! They also had Bob Ross videos playing on the other TV haha. The whole place had very chill vibes. Lots of seating, comfy chairs, etc. Joe was amazing- super laid back but also really attentive! We loved interacting with him. We went back two days later because we liked it that much! I got several of their beers.

Yelp
Seems like a trendy spot right across from the ski lift. Indoor and outdoor seating options, which is nice if you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the mountain views. Service was very friendly and relatively quick - food came out in 10 minutes or so, but in fairness it was not very busy when we were there on a Wednesday night. Drinks were good and priced on par with the rest of Jackson. My only gripe is that the sandwich I ordered, the tri-tip, didn't really have much flavor to it. The meat was there and there were spreads and veggies, but besides the occasional bite of a jalapeno slice, it was a largely tasteless sandwich... disappointing for $22. The truffle fries were average - somewhat soggy/flimsy but definitely enjoyable. There's a kids menu that comes inside the beer menu book (weird), but just before the desserts, so I suppose it makes some sense? It had some corny jokes. (+1 favor from me) Overall, definitely earns at least 4 stars, and I'd be open to trying something else on the menu and it tasting better than what I ordered. My friend's burger apparently tasted great, but I can't speak to it personally.

Yelp
Nice selection of locally brewed beers and away from the main square of Jackson. This place is just a short walk from the Snow King resort and away from the busy square. They have a large selection of beers available. I tried the Hucklebuck draft. A pleasant mix of blueberry and huckleberry flavors. Also I needed just a small bite to eat so I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Trio. This was the perfect portion for me. Three fried green tomatoes and each one topped differently. One had egg salad, one with a crab salad and then one with pimento cheese. Great flavors and I enjoyed all three. The service was prompt and a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Right in front of Snow King Mountain. You can see it through the window or at the patio. Place is spilt into two. There is a taproom and a restaurant. Menu change is seasonal, so better check their website before you head out. Food is ok. For the price the price they are charging I was expecting more portion and more flavor. Not that it is bad just didn't my expectations. Best thing I ate is the Bison sausage flatbread.

Yelp
Always a 5/5 here! I love coming here and eating at the bar and having such a great view of snowking hill. The servers are great and always give us great recommendations! This place is beautifully decorated and feels slightly upscale. My go to as an appetizer at the truffle fries. The salad is colorful and exceeded my expectations. I love the entrees. You really can't go wrong. I love the look and feel of this place. It's good for families or if you want a couple beers with some friends. One of my favorite spots for sure when we hike snowking!! Always feels like a well earned meal. :)

Yelp
Service was a bit languid, but we all enjoyed our meals. Neat atmosphere. Good beers, solid cocktails.

Yelp
Outstanding tasting room with food supplied from their restaurant, upstairs. We eat here because it was dog friendly on their outside seating area. Service was outstanding. The bartender was fast, friendly, professional, and loved Homer. The food was superb, and so was the IPA I enjoyed.

Yelp
We came here twice on our visit to Jackson! Great location and was close to our lodging as well. We were seated immediately and served by Amy on both visits. My husband really loved the west coast IPA. They have a full bar too so I enjoyed some cocktails. On both visits, we had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and chicken tenders with hand cut fries. Their fries are amazing as well as the chicken. I would 100% come back if we are back in the area.

Yelp
Been on vacation for the past ~week or so with my boyfriend and his family. We sat at the bar every time we came here and had wonderful and friendly service every time, several times by Cassie (hopefully I'm getting her name right) so huge props to her and the rest of the bar staff! We only had the truffle fries to eat but were really satisfied with them. Loved the building and the open atmosphere/view from the patio. I can imagine it's a great spot to enjoy a beer in the winter too. Crowlers are a great option to take some of their wonderful beers home with you, I personally loved the Hucklebuck and the Honey Bee.

Yelp
The wait to be acknowledged at the front (there was no line to be checked in) was far too long. An older woman on the way out told me "they take forever to seat you, it's best if you go up to them and ask for help". Eventually we were sat outside. We ordered the NZ Pilsner, 1 n/a beer, and 2 market salads. NZ Pilsner is the only reason this review gets above 1 star. The salads were wilted, chicken dry, and avocado brown. We paid above $70 for this meal. Which is too much for what we received. We opted for this brewery since Snake River is temporarily closed.. we will not be returning.

Yelp
Mikey is a welcome addition. His beers are right proper! Food is solid as well. I tried the bolognese and it was great.

Yelp
Enjoyed lunch at Stillwest! Great, low key vibe with a lovely patio. The food was tasty - enjoyed the chicken strips and sweet potato fries and grilled cheese and tomato soup. The service was great. Would definitely return!
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
The food was 4/5 - steaks were a bit too fatty. The fish burger was great and the fries were nicely done. The strawberry rhubarb cobbler was delish. Sit out side -- view was beautiful and it wasn't too hot for an August afternoon. It took way too long to get our cobbler and the service was a bit spotty in general, but not too bad. We would return. It was off the beaten path too which is great for Jackson in the summer - not too busy and overrun with tourists.
google avatar

Jim C.

Yelp
Cocktails and food were amazing! The view from the patio put this place over the top. Highly recommend checking it out.

Yelp
Great service and good bar food. Nothing fancy food wise, hand helds beer and view of ski run. I had the Brussels and thought them very good.

Kellie L.

Yelp
This place was amazing!! The views are amazing and absolutely stunning. We sat at the bar and had great service. The brussel sprouts were to die for. My mom and I will crave these for months on end. We also shared a salad with chicken and they split it for us in two separate bowls they were massive and delicious. The truffle fries were also tasty. We might have ordered way more than we needed but absolutely delicious. The drinks were also very good. We sampled to beers and each had a peach Paloma. 100% will be coming back here!

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch after a phenomenal horseback ride and we're starving. Being a huge Nashville chicken fan I had to get their sandwich and was not disappointed at all. The view of the slope from the restaurant was amazing and the staff was very attentive. Contemplating going back for dinner.

Yelp
StillWest Brewery in Jackson Hole offers a delightful experience for beer enthusiasts. The Patrol Pale, in particular, stands out with its rich flavor profile. The welcoming atmosphere at the bar, with its open seating, adds to the charm, making it a great spot to unwind. The laid-back vibe and quality brews make StillWest a must-visit destination for those seeking a relaxed and enjoyable time. Reservations recommended during peak season.

Yelp
Service was great. The lobster ravioli tasted like it had a lot of fresh ingredients! Good beer selection. Definitely recommend

Kathleen K.

Yelp
Kudos to Morgann the bartender!Absolutely the best rum and coke I've ever had. Chicken wings with buffalo sauce were delicious as was the chicken tortilla soup (tons of chicken). We'll frequent this place throughout our stay.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Located across the street from the bottom of the ski lift with plenty of parking the view from our table we viewed the mountain. We were served very quickly and enjoyed our meal so much we ordered take away soup for dinner! The seating outside had a covered roof and the bar inside was long with lots of options. Enjoy!
google avatar

Helena Q.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin steak (41$), which was conveniently pre cut and served with a nice mushroom gravy and crisp asparagus. They were out of the mashed potato, but the substituted salad was fine. The burger (22$) was also satisfactory, though I felt the fries could be more crispy. I thought the food was overall too salty, but definitely tasty. The outside patio with a view of the mountain was also a lovely space.

Yelp
Food was great Fireworks great on NYE Service was slow but consider the night The price for NYE was steep but in Jackson Hole most things overpriced
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
Mediocre overpriced food and terrible loud 1980s music. Wish we had had sandwiches in the park and saved ourselves the cash. Staff were nice, but food was disappointing.

Yelp
StillWest is a fun brewery with a great view of Snow King Mountain. Nate and I were looking for a spot to hang out and this was super close to were we stayed at Cowboy Village. When we arrived, we were seated right away just inside the door to the patio, which was nice. We weren't super hungry, so we decided to split the sesame steak salad. Nate got a flight of beer - you can pick any four you like. He enjoyed them all and I had a sip of one of the hazy IPAs, which was juicy and robust. Our server was really polite - could have been a little more attentive with water refills, but we were pretty content to just relax. The salad was delicious! I was almost sad we shared, because I definitely would have eaten it all by myself. The sesame oil in the dressing was amazing, and something I'll definitely recreate at home. The steak was perfectly medium, and I loved the spiced cashews. Super delicious. Everything on the menu sounded pretty tasty. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
We went as a party of 6 for a late lunch and the food was really good as well as the beer. The view of the slopes was really pretty. Service was great. I got a hot chicken sandwich and my daughter got a burger, both delicious. The coffee blonde was great and we got a beer flight, all great beers. Loved it!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, great beer & a fantastic view!! Worth a visit If you enjoy the brewery scene and tastings, don't pass it up!!

James C.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Friendly service with a great view from outside tables. Try the crispy fired Brussels sprouts for an appetizer. The market salad with salmon makes a good light entree.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Great setting. Very good beer. Huge burger. The flatbread was outstanding. I would definitely go back
google avatar

Yelp
My party sat at the bar where we had cocktails and appetizers. We were all impressed by both, given they were refreshing and delicious. Bartenders were very attentive and continually on point. Only downfall was I paid for mezcal upgrade on both drinks I ordered, but only received one.
google avatar

Yelp
So bathrooms are in the building, and it has an elevator if you can't use the stairs to get to the second floor. I walked here so I am not sure about parking. It may be street parking (but not positive) we walked here and around the town. Sooo cute! We came like an hour before the rodeo started so it was crazy busy!! Our waitress said she had to track down some water glasses for us to use. You face the ski slope and it's quite beautiful, we caught it on a good day. Im gf so I had the cider but I heard a lot about their beer. If you go to the ground floor there is a little beer garden/brewery open space. It's pretty nice! I had the hamburger with no bun, my friends got the black bean burger, and the steak, and Brussels sprouts. Overall a good view. Most of the bad experience was probably because it was so busy. We got water halfway through and food took forever. But also I just came off of a 12 hour shift so I was starving. Food was very good I asked for my burger to be medium rare it came out medium well. Not a big deal. I still finished the entire thing!! It was so good. I give it a 4 because the service could have been better, but I understand it may have been because they were a bit busy. So ultimately high up there.
google avatar

Nina P.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a modern feel. We sat on a patio and you you get a great view of the ski hill. This would be very enjoyable in the winter time to watch people ski down. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She was very busy but consistently made sure we had what we needed. For food, we got the wings, turkey club and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. All of the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a nice lunch.
google avatar

Yevka Y.

Yelp
We came here for lunch after our visit to Snow King Mountain. I was very impressed. I got the burger which is HUGE (I couldn't finish it), and delicious!!! The Brussels sprouts are also very big, and have yummy sauce and pomegranate seeds on top. From the window, there is a nice view of the tubing area of the park across the street. Service was nice; always refilled glasses, helped us order gluten free burger variations, and helped us when needed. I would definitely come here, this place exceeded my expectations.

Julie G.

Yelp
Great food - the tri tip sandwich and black bean burger were delicious! Loved the location - it was nice to be a bit off of the Town Square. We ate out on the deck and it was a beautiful view of the mountain. It was also a great spot to eat with kids. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
We got the flatbread, Nashville hot chicken Mac and cheese, and the skillet cookie. Service was good. Meal was great!

Yelp
Good service, good food. Nice beers. Great view. No complaints. Enjoyed May the Pils be with you.

Bronwyn W.

Yelp
Wonderful food and good service. The view is beautiful. While here, a Karen showed her mean spirit to the waitstaff and food preparers. Ate half her meal and demanded free food. Regardless, we had a wonderful meal with great service.

Whitney S.

Yelp
Cool spot with great views of Snow King mountain. The beers were great and the soups were just what we needed on a cooler rainy day in May.
google avatar

Yelp
Good location on Snow King Ave in Jackson Hole So many beers to try so had to get a flight (see photo). 4 x 5 oz for $6, hello! Elk sausage flat bread (see photo) was tasty, cant get that everywhere Overall good service, food, and beer

Yelp
Back in October we had a chance to explore Grand Teton while staying in Jackson on our honeymoon. After a day of roaming with the Buffalo, we came back into town, half starved and sun baked. A quick look at the map showed StillWest, so we decided to park and have dinner there before going back to our resort. A quick walk up the stairs and our hostess took us to our seats. In no time, we were sampling some fine beers and waiting on dinner. Kat had the tomato soup w/ grilled cheese, which I immediately wished I had ordered as well after stealing some of hers. Now, my spicy chicken sandwich hit the spot as well, but there's just something about grilled cheese and tomato soup. The ticket price was a good value, especially for Jackson, and the staff was very friendly. The ambiance was terrific, casual but upscale, and offering a great view of the slopes when the snow is on the ground. We had a great time here!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful location and environment, host and server were lovely. The floor however when we arrived was filthy with wipers, and food from previous guests. The server was quick to clean up when we pointed it out. One of the small plates was dirty with sauce caked on maybe from the dishwasher. Wings were solid, tomato soup was good. Steak with beet salad was a bit dry and under seasoned. Romaine with hot chicken seemed hurried but chicken sandwich was fair. Felt a bit phoned with regards to bar food in but the drinks were good.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Was here on a rainy November, 2023 Saturday afternoon. The barkeep/waitress was friendly and attentive. The wings and beer were good. The view from the main (second) floor is neat--of the mountain ski slope! The meal price was reasonable for Jackson. Give them a try!
google avatar

Norm T.

Yelp
October 8th Beautiful day, tasty IPA; last nice day for a while; perfect location, great service!
google avatar

D L.

Yelp
Stillwest patio has a beautiful view and If I were skiing and drinking beer, this would be the place. But the food her is nothing special when there are other sandwich shops with ambiance. We had the trout sandwich and the Turkey pesto. Truffle fries were seasoned well. Honeybee Beer refreshing. 3 stars for location and beer. We would skip next time and try another brewery restaurant.
google avatar

Kathy N.

Yelp
Location is wonderful. Food was good. Beer was also good, but not a lot of creativity. Staff was very friendly.
google avatar

Ann K.

Yelp
For a Jackson dining experience with a spectacular view of Snow King mountain, StillWest is the place. We stopped for lunch and sat on the sunny patio. Service was fast and friendly. My husband started with a Teton Cooler and I had a local cider, both refreshing. Then I had very crispy, moist chicken tenders and fries. As an aficionado of all things chicken, I rated these tenders very highly, My husband had a white cheddar cheese sandwich with bacon and a cup of tomato basil soup, both excellent. Lunch prices were very reasonable for the pricey Jackson area! We also avoided the crowds downtown and didn't have to wait!

Eugene D.

Yelp
Very good place in Jackson. Service was very good. Food was delicious. The place has very nice ambience because it is at the base of the mountain. I would highly recommend. We did not try their beer but everything was very good.
google avatar

Joe J.

Yelp
Sandwiches were great! We had a Turkey Pesto and a Steak sandwich. Started off with some Nashville Hot Chicken MacnCheese which was amazing! Would highly recommend for casual night out with delicious food! Service was so good! Will be back next time I visit Jackson!

Yelp
Great convenient spot if you're staying or doing activities at snow king. Had a great dinner and beers here after a long day at Yellowstone. Trout Sandwich was great. And there was no shortage of sweet potato fries. Only complaint was that the service was not too attentive/friendly. If felt like they were rushing even though it wasn't too crowded.
