Stimpy’s Sports Bar and Grill

First time in, heard about it being good and I can honestly say it was pretty dang good. Got them to put on the Stanley Cup game (no complaints), had some really good burgers, and a couple cold beers! Used a Groupon (bought while sitting there) - seamless and easy redemption. Not the cheapest burger in town, but was BIG and filling and really tasted good. Had the Windsor and the Bacon Cheese Burger + half onion ring basket. Rings we're just okay, but the burgers were the stars and made up for it! Would recommend. Crowd was older and chill.

I'm a little biased because I hang out here quite a bit, but their food is just so good! I haven't eaten anything here I didn't like! Staff is always attentive to your drinks and the whole vibe is laid back. Great place to watch sports and make new friends!

Way bigger inside than it appears from the parking lot, with arcade games, ping pong and pool inside, and enclosed outdoor seating. FAST service, excellent portion size, great pricing, perfect size of menu. We randomly found this place while heading home from a Seahawks game last weekend and they took great care of us, our food was awesome, we got 2lbs of wings (all Buffalo sauce) which are hefty hunks of meat compared to the puny ones some places serve. Big freshly cut celery and carrots and a bowl of Bleu cheese dressing. I ate most of it myself on top of a side house salad without croutons. I thought the wings had the perfect amount of pepper on them. We decided to drive all the way back up to Kent from where we live in Tacoma tonight because my husband wanted to try their biscuits and gravy all week. I have a long list of food sensitivities due to Crohn's disease and was able to get the carnivore omelette with a side of vegetables instead of toast and hashbrowns, and they were perfectly salted. The omelette was huge and absolutely packed with cheese, cubed sausage and ham and bacon bits. Husband couldn't even finish his whole dinner so I had his last sausage link too. Says he might try one of the big salads, I almost ordered the Cobb myself. Friendly staff too! We're not on a first name basis but they remembered us from the other night and I like everyone's attitude. I've rarely ever gone to a sports bar to watch a game but this seems like a great spot for that. We will be back for sure, I added this spot to my Maps list of places with keto menu options

They have the best potatoe skins ! The drinks are great, the atmosphere is amazing. They have touchtunes, and we are always welcomed right away.

Really nice staff, affordable prices and large portions. The pool and ping pong are free! The space is huge so plenty of space for groups. Very large basket of tater tots for $6. Would come back again!

Our favorite neighborhood bar. Anytime my bf's dad visits out of state, his first request is akways Stimpy's. The ambiance is very welcoming and place is clean. I highly recommend to visit during breakfast, it's so good. Only one I didn't really enjoy is the chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was really tough, I couldn't even cut it with the steak knife that was given. They always have pool tournaments so it's always a great vibe. Also love ordering their wings and burgers. The servers are always so nice and professional. At times when it's busy there's only one server but she's always killing it. Grab couple pull tabs and the food will be out before you know it.

Check your bill closely for total amount you authorize. Compare against your banking statement. I was charged an extra dollar above what I authorized because the bartender misread the amount ( $44.63 + $8.00 tip) does not equal $53.63. Verified expense by showing waitress the charge on my banking statement vs the paper copy. Waitress confused. Offered me a beer chip for a future beer instead; pointing out that was a better deal. Asked to have manager call me. Left name and number. Yet to receive response and I doubt manager will call. I wonder how many others are being bought off due to establishment errors?

I was looking for a place to have a good sandwich before I left town. Wait, staff was excellent. My food was just as great! There are a lot of fun sports memorabilia things to look at on the walls bathrooms were clean!

Stimpy's offers great sandwiches, burgers, and delicious made-from-scratch comfort food. Their crispy tater tots and waffle fries hit the spot, all served in a festive, friendly atmosphere. We go here often.

Came in for a bite to eat and few adult beverages after my flight into Seattle. The service was amazing and the Stimpy Burger (Pastrami Burger) did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stimpy's is a great neighborhood bar with great food too. I've tried their pizzas, black and blue burger, fried mushrooms, and queso and they were all excellent. There are pool tables and one of the Touch Tunes music players. Plus, many televisions for sports. The times that I have been there the service has been decent too.

Update to my earlier review today as there was a new event. Wow. We found Stimpy's several months ago and it has been our go to breakfast spot. Very close to our home and really good food. We loved this place until today. We found the place to be chill and everyone seemed to do their own thing. Today we went there for lunch and ended up sitting next to what appeared to be the owner working with KVI to cover the Trump inauguration from the bar in January. I saw a paper that mentioned it and we overheard conversations that were clearly not reality based. What a huge disappointment to go to this place that has a Trump agenda. We can no longer give them our business as it is clear that we are not safe there and it is not a place for all. To my friends that I have taken there, I am sorry.

This is my go to bar and restaurant when I'm working in Kent. Great staff quick service and the food is really great bar food. Also I love how the owner stood up to the government during Covid bs.

My brother just moved to Des Moines and after moving we went to Stimpy's. That place was fantastic! Bartenders were awesome and attentive. Lots of TV's and plenty of places to sit. Food came out quickly and was great! Drinks were fairly priced and had great pours for shots. We will definitely be back there again when we are visiting! Love a good sports bar in a strip mall!

We went to a concert in Tacoma on Saturday night and stayed in Federal Way and needed a place to eat breakfast and watch football on Sunday before heading to the airport. This place was perfect. Clean, great atmosphere, food and service.

We just discovered this great sports bar that offers delicious pub food in a very clean environment. Friendly customers and great staff. Pull tabs for those that love a little harmless entertainment. When you order, make certain Robby is in the kitchen for the best experience. Personal favorites? -French Dip -Chef Salad -Rueben -Patty Melt -Burger Dip Pizzas are a good value, just ask for your favorite toppings.

First stop near Seattle, beat and wanted a drink and wings. Was waited on for our drink and asked for food menu, but never followed up with our food order or another drink. 20 minutes later, we left while everyone around us was waited on. Felt cliquish, like they knew the other customers names as locals, but didn't care to serve new faces. Definitely wasn't worth the stop for sure, sadly.

Very clean environment, fast service, and really delicious food at a fair price. The corned beef hash was honestly the best I've had - smoky, salty, tender. My dad had the chicken fried steak - thing was ridiculously huge and super flavorful. I will definitely be back.

The rating says it all. It was wonderful. My friend and I both ordered the sirloin steak. We ordered our steaks cooked differently. Both turned out amazing!! The baked potato that was served with it was delicious. Great veggies too-- very flavorful and cooked the way I like them. The wait staff was right on top of everything and very friendly. I can honestly say this is on the top of the list as far as dining experiences go, and keep in mind that this is a sports bar. We will definitely be back. If you want a great meal come here and bring your appetite, the servings are more than generous.

Time for an update. We've been here twice in the last month. The food and service has been excellent! I really enjoyed our meals here. Ive been raving to everyone about Stimpy's again. We came on a Friday for prime rib night we got slow roasted NY strip steak. Wowza! Who da thunk that was a thang? Even the sauteed zucchini was so good I ate it all before the steak. I want more of both. Then we came on a Saturday morning. The chicken fried steak and all of it was sooo good. The hollandaise, the hash browns and get this the little biscuit came out golden brown, crisp on the edges, and fluffy in the middle. Someone is doing magic in that kitchen. I am under their spell. I'm typically not a picture person but the breakfast was so grand and it doesn't even show everything that a picture was absolutely necessary.

Food was good as always but on Seahawk game days it seems as they don't have enough staff and they get slammed busy! The only other thing is that when you are in the booths it is sometimes hard to get past the people who are playing pool and the tables that are being sat at!

Very good food for a bar. French dip was excellent. Prompt service. A good find in the Federal Way/Kent/Des Moines convergent zone.

I was disappointed to see that Stimpy's is allowing inside dining during lockdown. Public health is obviously not a priority for them anymore, so I won't be returning.

Went there for lunch yesterday. First thing I noticed was how prepared they were to deal with the COVID protocols. Everyone wearing masks, temperatures taken of everyone coming in. Extreme sanitization. The next thing I noticed was how clean and fresh everything seemed. What a great atmosphere with fast and friendly staff. And last but not least my food was delicious! Give it a shot. You will not be disappointed!

I'm so happy to have great friends and be in a family oriented establishment as an adult. The freaking food is hands down the best "bar food" I've had since the rainbow cafe in auburn . The employees and ownership is great. Throughout COVID they've done NOTHING but work hard to make us antisocial humans now feel liked and cared about in public! Thank you Stimpy!

I was in town on business for a few days and staying out by the airport. I am always looking for a "locals" place instead of the usual restaurant/bars that are adjacent to the airport hotels. Stimpy's is on the main road (International) where most of the airport hotels are located, but about 3 1/2 miles South of them. Stimpy's is located near the rear of an older shopping center. The interior is very clean and well lit, with a bar area and a seating area. They have pool tables (6, I believe), a ping pong table, pin ball and various other electronic games. There are well-placed TVs throughout. I stopped in for lunch by myself at about 11:30am and then again that night with some co-workers for drinks and dinner. For lunch I had one of their personal pizzas (12"), with a very thin and crispy crust. For dinner I had a large Cobb salad and my counterpart had wings. All three meals were served quickly, were very fresh and tasted excellent. The food was very fairly priced; far lower than the places by the airport hotel. After dinner, we shot pool ($.75 per game) and drank a few pitchers of PBR (I don't remember the cost per pitcher, but it was cheap). The beer was ice cold, and the mugs were very clean and chilled also. The bartender and the waitstaff were very friendly and professional during both of my visits. All of the other customers appeared to be locals and were nice as well. Highly recommend.

Best food and best service. Owner ia amazing for keeping the place open and fighting unlawful mandates from clueless Inslee. Hope you guys can fight it and will be reopen in no time. Your place shouldn't be closed when Wal-Mart is open.

The place has gone down a lot, the people are great but the food are staring to suck!!! Since the original cook has left. It's a hit a miss whose in the kitch

Stimpy's is usually pretty busy but the wait staff and food are usually pretty awesome! They have daily specials that are priced great! Tonight my husband and I had dinner and their daily special was a pork chop with all the fixings... baby red roasted potatoes, green beans and the plate was huge and over flowing! All for $9.99!! My husband enjoyed it very much. I had a 12 inch pizza, it could have been a but crispier but it tasted great. They have pool tables, juke box and pull tabs, lots of TV's and live music on weekends. Overall a nice little sports bar.

Even though I can't eat a lot of items on the menu because I'm vegan. I am so glad that the have common sense and are staying open. I will need to stop by for some fries or something to show my support. :)

This place is my boyfriend and I's favorite place to go if we want to go out to eat. The servings are huge, the prices are cheap and everything is always cooked to perfection. The way they deep fry here is just absolute perfection every time! I would go back every day if I could lol I got a Cobb salad and since I don't eat chicken or bacon I asked to switch in fried shrimp instead and did they deliver! Love this place so much!

We stopped at Stimpy's one afternoon on our way through Federal Way. We were pleasantly surprised by their awesome pub food and comfortable dining area. I ordered the Boxcar Burger which is served on parmesan crusted Texas toast - YUM! - and my husband had the Mac & Cheese which he thoroughly enjoyed. The bar is spacious and well appointed with pool tables and Jukebox. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Burgers hand pressed, beef and turkey are roasted in house, the soups are scratch made daily even the different dressings and dips are made from scratch. Don't like to call out servers by name, but after the service that K, J and J gave, as servers/bartenders, newer server S better step up her game and acts like she wants to help you after the food is served. This is the 3rd time I've seen this from her and that's why she only got a 10% tip today. Food is good as usual, but it's not as good overall when the server acts like you're bothering her

Good service, very clean. But, drinks are weak and food is not what I expected for a bar and "grill." Chicken in salad was microwaved rubber and yet hard. For drinks stick with beer so you get what you pay for. The crowd was pleasant, little quiet. But again this place was clean!!!

Came here for once because we saw it on Groupon and saw they had Eggs Benedict. Just went back a second time for the Eggs Benedict because it's SO good. Just your casual local sports bar with plenty of space, tvs, pool tables, etc. Can't attest to the rest of the food (except the waffle tasted like cardboard, we couldn't even eat it). The first time our server was nice but slow, and paid more attention to the regulars. The second time, our server was SO nice and attentive. Come here if you're looking for good Eggs Benedict!

We went there using Groupon. Turned out to be a great choice. The food was excellent. We had Philly pizza, wings (which were awesome), burger and rueben. Service was great. We will be back.

I LOVE this place!! It's actually open now, but the official grand opening isn't until 3/25. The drinks are strong, the prices are reasonable and the french fries are FANTASTIC! (I know, How good could the french fries be? but I'm serious, I'm in love with them!) This place is a well kept secret, but not for long. Lots of TVs, pools tables, darts, beer pong, live music...FUN!!

This place is the best! The staff have been amazingly nice from day one. Not just the "this is my job and I'm going to treat you like I do every other customer", but they treat you as the individual that you are. I've only been frequenting Stimpy's for just under a month now, and I feel like family already! I love how the staff and customers bond. Everyone from the cooks, to the bartenders to Stimp himself....they are simply amazing! I look forward to the hugs and smiles I get when I walk in the door! As for service, they are quick to get you drinks and food. Or anything else your heart may desire! They run their butts off for you! They offer free pool on Wednesdays (which is what originally brought me in), poker on Mondays, live bands Fridays and Saturdays, awesome drink specials (Happy Hour is all day!)...they've got it all. Not to mention the food! After I had their fries, I said "screw that diet!" They have everything from fries to salads, from gizzards to steak. The pizza is amazing too! thee best bar and grill around period! yes there are times you don't get your order right away but in these times where nobody wants to go to work because they get paid more to stay home there can be staffing issues. but the staff thats there is the best! i see people giving attitude right off the bat and i say to myself just chill people you won't find a better place to eat or drink. the place is clean VERY clean, the kitchen staff is the best and keep a very clean kitchen! i'm not wondering if its safe to eat the food. the bathrooms are also kept very clean, you can tell the staff and owner take pride in there work and the bar. all the food is great! meatloaf nite is my favorite, and they make a dam good prime rib dinner! there is nothing on the menu that isn't good! try the pizza! friendly regulars, great atmosphere!!!

What a great breakfast. I have never had avocado toast before so I can't compare it to any other, but it was amazing. I would definitely have that again. It is not on the menu it was the breakfast special. Now if the Huskies can win in the Rose Bowl it will be a perfect day.

Stimpy's is quintessential dive bar chic. The last couple of times we've been there I've had and really enjoyed their BLT. They toast the sourdough bread, make the bacon crispy and add cheese. Outside of my home, it's one of the best BLTCs I've ever had. Also, the staff is attentive and personable. Thank you, Stimpy's for being a good local spot to eat, drink and be merry.

They take a $10 restaurant.com certificate for like $15 worth of food....that will buy you a big sandwich, lots of fries and good salad with your favorite pounder too. What more can I say?

The food is really good here and the burgers are spot on! Lots of choices, friendly service and clean bathrooms! Lots of TV's. There's pool and darts, too.

We really enjoy coming here especially for the NIGHTLY SPECIALS, Our favorites are the bbq chicken and ribs, fried chicken with mashed and prime rib nights. Employees are friendly and drinks are on point we would have definitely given this place a 5, however there is 1 bartender that is always cocky and rude

The staff here is great. They're attentive, and friendly. Food is great! Have never had any issues with it. It's always fresh and great tasting. James, the bartender is awesome. He keeps me and my company entertained every single time I go there. Keep up the great work, team Stimpy!

This is an excellent sports bar with great vibes, flat screen TVs all over the place, pool tables/ juke box, and good company! I reccomend this bar no matter if your a local or a tourist...a sports fan, or someone who likes strong drinks for a good price. It has a 2007 feel to it and the food is good. The specials are tasty and they do 1 everyday. MONDAY NIGHT BBQ Chicken and Rib dinner is something you will crave over and over...get there early because it goes fast!!! Great and strong drinks, great food and great portions, great company, and great times most importantly!

Food is good as far as bar food goes. I'd try their steak, the cook is pretty much in point with your order. Jukebox adds to the ambiance of the night and I like the pool scene here. Plus, clean bathrooms!
