Stink Cheese & Meat - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Stink is a family-friendly spot in Tacoma that recently reopened for indoor dining. They specialize in charcuterie boards and cheese platters, both of which we’d consider perfect pairings for a gin and tonic. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

The Trifecta is brilliant-a little soup, a little sandwich, and a little salad all make a filling lunch! Great service and bright windows give the new location a fun vibe. The art work was cool adding a bit of uniqueness to the tall walls. The entrance is a little off-putting and you wouldn’t think there is a restaurant in the building, but there is and it has a water view and worth the search! There is street parking and garage parking too, so don’t get discouraged trying to find them. Worth every bite!

Such a lovely and chill place! Their specials are bomb (today we had a grilled cheese with sauerkraut and sausage and tomato soup), and their meets and cheese are (of course) on point (pictured: meat plate and roasted garlic & Pierre-Robert)! A good place to hang out for a while and leisurely snack on all the great menu items, a favorite of mine being the bacon wrapped dates (also pictured). Drinks are also great, whether you’re going for a traditional whiskey on the rocks or a fun cocktail like the “fall mule” which featured a hint of cinnamon apple!

Wow. Never in my life did I think I would enjoy onion soup this much. If you love cheese and being happy. The owners Jenny and Steven are so personable and really felt like family. I can’t wait to eat here again.

We had a great experience eating dinner here and will very likely visit again. We started with a wine flight and a 3 cheese board. Our sommelier provided wines based on our preferences ( sweet, dry) and asked what cheeses we didn’t want which was very considerate. Dinner was ample and filling I chose the Cheesy British with a chefs special Mac and cheese on the side, my lovely girlfriend had the grilled comfort combo. We ended the night with picking up a bottle from our tasting a Gazela Vinho Verde from Portugal. Overall a great date night spot and hidden gem in Tacoma.
