Made in Singapore: 8 homegrown brands to love - SilverKris

"Specialising in durian-based desserts made from fresh Pahang-sourced fruit, the menu highlights Mao Shan Wang creations such as swiss rolls and a small-batch ice cream called the Stinky Scoop (each pint contains about two mid-sized durians’ worth of pulp). Other crowd favourites include shortcakes that pair rum-soaked Japanese sponge with durian custard cream and the creamy Stinky Bowl of D24 durian mousse." - Creative Solutions

Popped in for dessert at Stinky Durian Dessert — and it was absolutely worth it. The place was crowded, but the buzz added to the fun. Highly recommend the MSW Hoot Chendul, Stinky Bomb, and Stinky Roll — all rich, creamy, and bursting with pure durian intensity. A bold, playful spot that transforms Singapore’s love for durian into edible art, Stinky Durian Dessert captures everything locals adore and tourists come hunting for. Every creation is indulgent, authentic, and unapologetically stinky in the best way possible. A must-visit for durian lovers and curious travelers alike — loud, proud, and deliciously Singaporean. Rating: 5/5.

I couldn't visit Singapore without tasting durian, so I decided on a mousse. I actually don't mind the smell of durian, it sort of reminds me of mango. The taste is very peculiar, it's technically not bad, but also not great, just weird. Definitely one of the kind food experience. I wish I had tried the choux pastry as well, but I couldn't find the time to go back. The shop has a very nice interior design and I loved the mural outside. I also appreciated the staff, cos they went out of their way to find me a charger, because my phone died.

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The durian itself is phenomenal! Rich, creamy, pungent and tasty! Once you eat you can stop! Best Durian I’ve had ever! 2. Price is affordable for something so good and exotic! 3. Variety of variations of durian available! If you went the platter come here they open because they only sell about 12 platters per day! I was told that there is a small line before they open up at noon! 4. Outdoor area to enjoy the durian is awesome! 5. Customer service provided was fast and efficient.

@foodydesserts One of the best durian puffs in SG💛💛💛 You either LOVEE IT or HATEE IT🙈🙊 For $2.40 per piece, I didn’t expect that each puff was generously filled with a cold, rich & smooth custardy durian cream filling in the centre of that light but crunchy choux puff🤪🤪 The thin layer of butter 🧈 crust gave the puff extra crispiness, I’m all for extra crisp😁 Try putting the whole puff directly into your mouth for the bomb effect as the name suggests🤣 I’m definitely heading back for dine in!! Saw 👀 they had fresh durian flesh on top of a bowl chendol, wanna tryyyy🤤 Recommend Stinky by 99oldtrees to all you durian loversss👍🏻🤟🏻 Featuring 📸 ~ Stinky Bomb (5pcs/box) $12 #durian #duriancreampuff #durianlover #chouxpastry #creampuff

The durian mousse is so niceeee. Do order a 2 short or durian puree. There are customers who order durian seeds but that defeat the purpose (my own experience) Anyway I really enjoy my stinky bowl. The chendol was right. They have about 9 seats indoor area and plenty of seats outdoor. They do make an effort to make it look like a forest feeling. I kind of like it. They have multiple industrial fans. Not just those house ceiling kind. Smart move.

The cafe has a light smell of durian and their cafe is quite cozy. There's a kampong outdoor setting where patrons purchase their whole durian. The stinky bom is a must try if you're a fan of durian. The chendol is not very sweet and goes well with the durian.

Excellent concept, vibes and location. With the MRT just in front and open space parking by the side, there’s no reason not to do a pitstop. Very Instagram worthy with a good durian dessert selection. The dessert stop for every durian lover and tourist game to try 🫶🏻💛💛💛💛💛 5 Aug: 8.45pm dashed in for last order and they were helpful, we can still enjoy the dessert at the outdoor seating 👍🏻

Writing a review since I want this place to do well and survive! I've been here twice on random impulsive visits on the way home - had both the durian chendol and the durian choux puffs. Both were fantastic, though I especially loved the choux puffs far more. At 1.90 each, it's a super killer value dessert for this part of the city. The cream was creamy with the right amount of durian flavour, while the choux was very well executed - crispy on the outside, airy and crumbly on the inside with the cream. Sometimes it still haunts my dreams 🤤 The staff are also efficiently friendly - not the effusively bubbly kind, just how I prefer it. Ambiance inside is nice and clean with a slight peranakan theme. I'll take more photos next time.
