What a great brunch experience! We loved the atmosphere and the live band. The jar of mimosa was a fantastic deal if you have a group of friends sharing. I wouldn't sleep on this beautiful restaurant in Charlotte!

Let me start off by saying.. the Mac and cheese was great! Super creamy and had a nice flavor but I could’ve done without the seafood, lobster was a bit fishy. The drinks weren’t too great either... Between my friend and I, we tried 4 different drinks and were pretty underwhelmed. The restaurant itself had a nice vibe though and our waitress was pretty honest about how she felt about the food as well so that helped!

Crab soup was small but so yummy. The halibut piccata was the best dish I’ve had in a while. I cannot wait to go back and get it again. My man loved steak frites- cooked perfect!

The oysters were good but everything else was just okay. The service could have been better as well. Nicely decorated and cool vibes. Nothing extraordinary though 🤷🏾‍♂️

My sister and I decided to try out this restaurant and I’m glad we did. We went for their brunch. We were greeted warmly by the host Najay. He was funny and made sure we got the seating that we wanted. They had indoor and outdoor dining. The live music band was great. Our server was Lauro. He was great and ensured we had an awesome dining experience. We changed our seating from outside to inside because of the wind, and we asked him for a table that he was over. He had no issue with our change of seating. They have a brunch table with cookies, pasta salad, pickled salad, delicious chicken salad and pita; all was complimentary with our entrees. I had the deviled eggs and shrimp and grits. My sister had the chicken and waffles. All three dishes were excellent. I also got the mimosa jar with pineapple juice. It was huge, enough for 6 people. The service was so good, I asked for the manager. The manager Gary was awesome as well. Due to ambiance, service and food; we will definitely be back! Thank you to the Stir team for a great brunch!

Stir was a very nice restaurant. I love hitting the city and feeling the vibe. Coming from NYC, I love embracing other cities and the energy that it is. Here at Stir, it felt really upscale while also down to earth and casual at the same time. The drink I was recommended to try was "The Road Less Traveled". If you're a person who drinks dark liquor, this drink will definitely satisfy you and if you're someone who likes mixed drinks, this will be a good selection for you as well. My fiancé got a pina colada that was just the right sweet. Our waitress for the night was Noelle who was utterly amazing. Very warm and friendly. She stayed on top of everything. This dinner was for my girlfriends birthday and because of her it was another happy birthday celebration for the books. The food was really good. I was already full from earlier so I tried to just get a salad but that wasnt the best choice because the salad was huge. I got the chicken salad with salmon added and it was a lot. Tasted wonderful, but something I definitely had to box up. I forgot what my fiance ordered but she enjoyed it, I know that much. Overall I do want to go back and would recommend anyone else to go, but only if they can get seated in Noelle's section 😊

Alyssa was the most amazing server! We came from Buffalo and she was so fun and made our experience ten times more exciting! Amazing food, fun drinks and great atmosphere!

Chelsea A. was incredible! She was attentive, friendly, and knew the (completely brand new!!) menu like the back of her hand. She was able to answer any question effectively, and made sure to notify the kitchen of our parties allergies. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Got there for an early dinner ahead of the evening rush. Very nice restaurant with cool vibe - open with high ceilings. Server was very friendly and attentive. Checking in on us throughout our meal. Started with the Whipped Feta - good but expected it to be tastier. Dinner was great! I thoroughly enjoyed the Sesame Steak Bowl - very nice and delicious while my guests had no complaints about the Crispy Mahi Bowl and the Shrimp Scampi. We all went home with plenty of leftovers, too. Nice place, good service, and very good food.

Final night of a great girls weekend getaway! Only failure was coming to Charlotte's Stir. The ONE STAR is ONLY for the very sweet hostesses working tonight. We ordered the whipped feta for the table and it was very tasty. The waitress let us know the kitchen was backed up but shouldn't be too long. I was truly looking forward to the steak frites and fries. Maybe my expectations are set too high because I know how to grill steak and cook fries. Maybe I expect too much for food & service personnel in the this industry. The waitress did not apologize for the cold food. She only took it away and back to the kitchen. A manager returned with the second try. Repeat FAILURE. My friend at our table of 4 had two tries with her Mahi tacos. First go - cold fish. Second try - cold and barely any fish in the tacos. When the waitress came to see if I wanted a To-go box, I explained I'm not interested in taking this because it came out cold again with chewy fries like they sat under a heat lamp. She took it and walked away. Should I expect an apology from the person caring for our table, as a courtesy & speaking for the kitchen? High expectation! How is he kitchen backed up and serving cold food??? The only saving grace for this evening was the manager Gary. The waitress did go back and get him again.... I'm no longer hungry, so I guess that's gonna have be it for the night.

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim on a random Monday for dinner and of course we were able to get sat right away with no reservation. We noticed it was warm inside so when asked about it, they mentioned how the a/c wasn't working which isn't their fault but I wish they mentioned that to us because we got sat. Our waitress came to greet and she was absolutely incredible the whole time with getting us ice water and validating my ticket without asking and much more!! I wish I remembered her name which I would come back because of her service. For appetizer, we got the peach and burrata which is seasonal and it tasted amazing with the combination but I wish the bread was a bit thicker. We got the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese to share which was good besides the fact that is was lemony which was very off putting. I got the spicy tuna bites to eat and the tuna was incredible and the toppings made the flavors mix together very well.

The oysters are pretty good here! Very impressed with the selection! Their drinks are always delicious as well. This is a cute date night spot. Our server was friendly as well. Will definitely come back

Came in with a group. We were seated within a couple of minutes of arriving since we had a reservation. The service was great, a little slow but it was a busy Saturday night and our waitress had two large groups in her section. The wine list and cocktail menu offered enough variety and everyone was pleased with their drinks. The broiled oysters had a little too much bread crumb compared to the actual oyster size. Several people for the steak frites and felt like parts of it were overcooked I got the shrimp and lobster macaroni and cheese and it had too much of a lemon flavor to it so I did not enjoy it because I was expecting it to be more savory than citrusy.

3.5 stars. Stir is in a great location and super pretty-ish and vibey looking. The food was mostly just okay to me - but I can see why people frequent this place. I think this is a great option for date night or a casual dinner with friends. If you're a more picky eater who doesn't venture out too far or have a more "classic palette" - I think this is a good option for you. The halibut was good but I wasn't a fan of the breading/light frying of the fish. The farro was okay and the vegetables it included was a few pieces of precut carrots. My fries were mostly soggy though whatever that sauce was - was delicious. I tried the pornstar Martini and it was good but incredibly sweet. My husband enjoyed the chicken piccata dish. Overall nothing on the menu was bad - it just wasn't anything I'd write home about. Unfortunately I think they lose some points for service as well. From a frustrated bartender who wasn't helpful to our food taking over 45 mins to come out - the staff here could use some extra help and kindness. If you're in the area it's an okay option.

Came here on a Friday night with some friends and we ate outside because it was a really beautiful day. It was not super crowded at all and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming and offered some great suggestions. I ordered the halibut piccata and it came with Farro and roasted veggies and it was delicious! I also had the flower power for a drink and it was great! Everyone enjoyed their food! They have a few vegan and vegetarian options so there was something for everyone!

Found this place off of yelp and we definitely recommend it! They have an expansive wine and bourbon list with many additional cocktails to chose from. We got the steak tip bowl and holy combination of flavors and textures! It hit every want and need you needed from a meal! The environment is very swanky and we had awesome service. Shout out to our waitress Jade who helped make the night seamless and had many great food recommendations!

Just like their sister location in Raleigh, STIR Charlotte was tasty and the vibe was right! The streaming music gives STIR a great ambiance, a TV in the bar was nice for game watching, the service was fast and friendly (thanks for figuring out a way to make me a hot toddy), and the bites are great. The baked oysters and crab bisque are not to be missed. The jackpot cocktail was an absolute crowd pleaser. Can't wait to return. Cheers!

STIR is cute, but I don't go for the food. Every time I've tried to order food, it takes a crazy amount of time to arrive to the table, but perhaps it's my timing. Their drinks are really good though.

I was excited to try this restaurant especially for the craft cocktails and fun ice ... However my flower power looked nothing like the photos and tasted like cranberry vodka with regular ice. My steak frites came out cold but the fries were warm. Was really hoping to love this place, sadly it was a bust.

First time at STIR, drinks were great! I love the concept with the ice, very unique. Would go back for the drinks and the drinks only. Food was okay. Went for restaurant week so got to try a few things. Tuna bites were good, nothing out of the water crazy though. Parm truffle fries plate was huge! Really yummy but a lot for two people. Tasted even better air fried the next day! Tuna poke bowl was yum. Leftovers the next day were even better. Heard the steak frites was good, looked like it was cooked well. Matcha cheesecake does not have a cheesecake consistency, didn't love it. I didn't try the chocolate cake but visual was underwhelming, didn't even take a photo. Small piece that wasn't evenly cut, with part of it being so thin it was see through, tossed on the plate. Service was good! Our server Chelsea was great 5/5!

Throw the whole restaurant away. The food is mid and that's said with grace. Tuna bites served on hard cold rice. Lobster crab cakes are nothing but filler. Overpriced. Overhyped. Service and ambiance was great.

STIR is a great pregame brunch spot. Indoor-outdoor seating options and an indoor-outdoor bar, with a partially shaded patio. We had the Avocado Toast Bites, Eggs Benedict, Shrimp & Crab Benedict, STIR Deviled Eggs, and White Cheddar Grits. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We lucked out with 70-degree November weather which made for a fun pregame ambiance. Definitely recommend STIR for Sunday brunch before catching a game.

My friends and I had a pretty underwhelming/disappointing experience here. We arrived right at opening on Saturday for brunch after finishing up a road race and were excited to enjoy a delicious meal somewhere new. There were maybe 3 or 4 other parties but it was empty for the most part. Atmosphere/decor wise, it's very light, trendy, and chic, so definitely good ambiance overall. We were seated at a large booth and put our orders for drinks in first. We shared a mason jar mimosa and also got a spicy bloody mary. The mimosa was good but not chilled so I had to ask for a glass of ice. My friend's bloody took awhile to come out as well. And they did not serve it with extra olives as she had requested. We started with some broccolini appetizer and then for the entrees got an assortment of sandwiches, benedicts, and a scramble bowl. My friends also got some oysters that they enjoyed. That was probably their favorite part. The rest of the food took awhile to come out, considering it really wasn't that busy. On the bright side, the entrees did come with the small self-serve buffet at the center table - just an assortment of muffins, pastries, and light salads. I didn't get anything but my friends the tomato cucumber salad and some cheese/crackers. As far as the entrees go, definitely a let down in terms of flavor and plating. I had the breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns, and the bread was not toasted or buttered or anything - looked like it came straight out of the bag. They did cook it with the egg over easy instead of scrambled though which was nice. But other than that, just lacking in flavor. I should have asked for some hot sauce. My friend's lobster cake benedict was even more underwhelming. Plating wise, we couldn't even tell what it was at first and had forgotten what she ordered. The cakes were very small, and then the eggs and hollandaise were each in their own little saucers. Just a strange presentation that had us more confused than anything else. She felt the same about the taste as well. Overall, I want to say this place does have potential, but they need to improve their service (or at least speed) and fine tune the recipes a little more. I wouldn't be opposed to giving another chance, but I also wouldn't rush back before checking out some other spots.

Bartender was great and I got steak bowl. Some flavors were a lot but overall it was a great lunch experience. A pretty restaurant.

I went here on a whim after work on a Thursday around 5pm . I was seated immediately and my server came right away . The oysters are fresh and delicious! My drink was the rose cocktail, to me it tastes like December lol like a Christmas cocktail. I think it's the peppercorn that they put on top . Nonetheless I will be back to Stir !!!

Made a short notice reservation on a Saturday afternoon and was easily accommodated for an outside table. Seemed like the after brunch rush so the restaurant was empty. Bathroom wasn't terrible but still needed a little bit of tending. I believe they were also setting up the private room for a party. Wait staff was on the struggle bus though. Food came out slow. Only gave regular soy sauce with the tuna bites, I prefer low sodium as regular made them too salty. Had to request saucers or ramekins to put the sauce in which seems standard to me.

My husband and I ordered so much food and all of it was good. The seasonings was in point! Staff were attentive and helpful with advice on the menu. We went during the day so it wasn't super packed. I like that there is outdoor seating for when the weather is warm. It's very spacious and lots of seatings. While there, I saw a large party celebrating a baby shower so it's nice to see you can reserve a large section for a big party.

First time in Southend. Food was great and fresh. Clean restaurant. Service was great as well.

Wow. Amazing experience. Server was outstanding and drinks were super tasty. My dish was one of the best I've had in a while, both filling and tasty without being too saucy. Everything was wonderfully done, presented, and finished. Very impressed.

Despite being a chain, Stir is one of my favorite places to eat in Charlotte. It is my go to when I want a good meal and know I will not be disappointed. I always get the chicken picatta which is served over farro. I love the pairing and the flavors are awesome.

Cool ambiance but the service needs improving/training. It seemed everyone there was very new and didn't know basics of serving. Asked for a rum and coke and the server said they weren't sure if the bartender could make it since it wasn't on the cocktail list. Really? There is a whole list of available alcohol in the back and plenty of rums to choose from. They made it, but seemed like it was a chore. Also brought out the wrong wine (ordered champagne and brought out a red wine). Food was just mid and nothing special. Seems like it could be a good place with some training.

STIR was a cute atmosphere and the bartenders were friendly! I highly recommend the Queen City Sour, this drink was delicious and only one was needed! The perfect thing to sip on. The Spicy Tuna Bites were good but wouldn't be my first choice when going back. I would love these with crispy rice instead of the cold rice that is served with it.

Had an amazing time at this place with amazing people the vibe was what you'd expect for a Friday evening. Inside is really open but I thought they had too many high top tables for my preference. I enjoyed myself. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful.. Top tier! Ordered the Colossal Tiger Shrimp Cocktail, steak frites, burger and. They were all so tasty and filling. The drinks were pretty but I wished they were a little stronger. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing food and the service was amazing and i had such a fun time. I got the tuna poke bowl and it was delicious. I loved the ambiance because we weren't in the middle of the city but still got the city vibe the restaurant was also clean and neat.

Yummy food. Music was loud but when we asked them to turn it down they did. We will definitely be going back.

Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday around 3pm! The restaurant is very open and spacious, with decor that's romantic enough for an intimate outing but also fine for a more casual dining experience. We went on a Wednesday afternoon so the restaurant was not busy. Our server was nice, food came out quickly and correctly and tasted great! The crab cakes were full of meat and had a fresh taste to them. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, while my husband had the steak frites. Everything was really flavorful! This restaurant is definitely one I would recommend or return back to if in the area. The only downside to our visit were the drinks we ordered. Both were mostly filled with ice and not worth the price in my opinion!

Nice place for brunch. The omelette I had was really tasty and the breakfast potatoes were top notch. I am a breakfast potato snob, so that is saying something. My friends had the deviled eggs app and really enjoyed it. Service was good and liked that they had a good sized space for outdoor dining with heat lamps and such. They have a little buffet inside with pastries and salads if you order a brunch entree which was a nice touch.

If you only get 3 things here make sure its this: 1. Margarita with SHAVED ice 2. Steak & goat cheese ravioli 3. Matcha Cheesecake Do it. DO it NOW. So so sooooo good.

First off, our waitress and food were fantastic. My complaints are for two things. First, the gentleman working the front of house. He may have been having a really bad day but there is no need to share or show those feelings with your guests. And second, the wait time for drinks and food was incredibly long. None of these inconveniences were the fault of our waitress who I observed trying her best to expedite food from the kitchen faster.

Bartender Shay was fantastic! Such amazing service and the food was fantastic. Stir has a great vibe! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Charlotte. Thanks Shay for making my first time dining at Stir so great!

We had a business meal at STIR with 18 of us in attendance. The restaurant screwed up our reservation but pulled things together quickly and got all of us seated in a semi private room. The service was a bit slow but did a pretty good job keeping our glasses filled and food coming. Overall the food was spot on and the deserts were exceptional. I'm sure the service issues were just because they were not planning on such a big group...

TLDR: avoid and go elsewhere. This was our second time here. The first time was terrible service, significantly long wait times for drinks and food. We came back a couple years later thinking maybe it would be better. Somehow it was worse. -It took 45 min to get our drinks. - one drink was a tap cocktail, 2 beers, and a wine. Literally just pouring liquid. - entrees came out maybe 5min after apps. Huge peeve of mine. - the 3 steaks ordered medium rare came out almost well done. Had to send back- came back barely improved. - manager came to ask how things were, Tom's him we were waiting on the new steaks bc the firsts were too done. Never came back to check on us afterwards. - beyond disappointed in every aspect. 100% not with the $100 meal. Would have loved to discloses these points with the manager but he magically disappeared. -0/10 recommend. Absolutely will not be back and will vehemently defer others from wasting their time and money here

Great food, service and atmosphere! ! Love the outdoor seating and being in the mix! This is one of my favorite go to spots that I'll never get tired of! Thanks for your top notch service!!

Bachelorette brunch, this place was perfect! $5 mimosas and bloody Mary's! Then a complementary brunch snack buffet while you wait say less. This place had great service beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Everything we had was great and well priced.

Absolutely hated the ONLY ONE VEGAN available option. They need to add more vegan options on menu.

The food was excellent here. They have a breakfast bar that you can choose various side dishes from to eat while you wait or eat with your meal. I had the steak frites, eggs and fries. I also added a side order of grits that were delicious. All the food was really good. My sister had the crab cakes, they were delicious as well. The service was nice. Our waitress, Jade, was incredible. She was extremely helpful, kind and exceeded our normal dining experience. The location looked very inviting, there was a live band, outdoor seating and the restaurant was very big and spacious on the inside. I would definitely dine here again. Also the prices seemed more than fair.

So I went to STIR Charlotte today for lunch and normally I enjoy everything. I usually get the Chicken Piccata and I ordered it today but when I was half way done I noticed that some parts of the chicken wasn't done. I told the server about and let him know know that I would still pay for it although I didn't eat the entire entree. He did nothing about it, no manger came over and spoke with me, nothing. Although I said I will still pay for it, it would've been nice to have someone come acknowledge the issue. For that I am a bit disappointed.

So I'm kinda new to Charlotte. I've visited several times over the years but never really had time to explore any places to eat other than what was offered Uptown. Now that I live here I rely on recommendation. Stir was easy to find. I lucked up and got a parking spot in front but there is a garage next to it. (Sidenote : The sever offered to validate our parking) The place wasn't that busy on a Wednesday evening. The ambience was low key and the interior was nice. The hostess and server were very pleasant and the manager checked on us during the meal and spoke to us on the way out. The have a raw oyster bar. I chose the roasted oysters and OMG they were so flavorful!...As you can tell from my picture I got so excited I didn't remember to take a picture until I only had one left. The only downside is they were small. I almost ordered another one. Yes they were that good My entree was the Steak Fritas. I ordered them medium and they were delicious. Overall a good dinning experience.

Took a bit to find. There was no wait for my group and we went during the week! The food was delicious, two of my friends sent their meals back because things were under cooked but the manager was great in Getting everything resolved for them. They also validated my parking, one of my friends did have issue with validating. I would definitely go back!

Place has been hyped up for awhile so finally decided to give it a go. Beautiful place, food was just okay and service was fine, too. Nothing too memorable.

This is the first time that I been to this place it is a good atmosphere. Would mention during this time of year it is warmer to sit by the front door. The service was great Brandon took great care of us and was very tentative to what we needed. The food as good I would say if you order the steak frtias make sure that you get the eggs on a separate dish as the medium rare steak juice (blood) was on the eggs.

We had an amazing experience at Stir. The ambience was inviting with music provided by Jazz Zach. The customer service was superb! We sat at the bar and Z provided great service. He was attentive and anticipated our needs. When issues arose they were efficiently handled. Gary, the manager was so accommodating. We recommend Stir 10/10!

Second time here, for restaurant week's dinner on a weekend. The pre fixe menu was $35pp with three course: appetizer, entree, and a dessert. Ordered oysters for appetizer, it was great. My friend got steak for entree and it was okay-ish; the fries were overcooked. The dessert was okay as well, as the cake itself was good but the decorative strawberry had a weird taste. Our server was very nice. Since the table was small, he came quite often to take away the finished plates to make room for others. My first time here was for brunch. I would recommend brunch over dinner. Also they offer parking validation to RailYard garage - a nice addition to the meal.

Huge fan of STIR! I went for brunch over the weekend and had an exceptional experience. If you're looking for a fun beverage, don't skip out on the mason jar mimosa -- it's great fun for a group! I tried the waffles, which were delicious and a great brunch choice. I also heard from my brunch partner that the breakfast burger was a hit! Would definitely recommend trying either of these options, but I can't imagine anything at STIR wouldn't be phenomenal! The service was great as well. I'd recommend asking your server about the artisanal ice selection -- ours even brought some out to us for viewing! We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy at all.

We really enjoyed STIR Charlotte! The decor and restaurant were set up so nicely. It was a chill Sunday night and service was excellent. The food was great! Samosas - 8/10. Full of flavor. Oysters were nice and fresh! The cheeseburger egg rolls were about a 7/10. The cheeseburger was juicy and delish! Also the asparagus was seasoned perfect. 8/10. A glass of wine and a shot to end the night. Great restaurant!

I really enjoyed our visit to STIR. The parking garage is just a short walk away. And the restaurant will validate 2 hours of parking. We made a reservation for prime brunch time (Sunday afternoon), but arrived early. They were able to sit us outside on the patio right away. To start, they offered a complimentary trio-styled appetizer. It was an interesting assortment of foods but we enjoyed them all. I ordered a cranberry mimosa during this visit. It was really good, but my friend's pineapple mimosa was amazing. For my entree, I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was delicious! The chicken had an extra little kick. The shrimp and grits were also a great choice and they were generous with the shrimp. Extra notes: The hostess and our server were very friendly and attentive. The Food & drinks delivered quickly. The patio is pet-friendly. I'll definitely be back for another visit.
