STIR. DOES. 👏 NOT. 👏 MISS. 👏 The steakhouse burger was absurdly juicy, perfectly cooked, and pure indulgence. The lobster mac with shrimp was rich, creamy, and stacked with seafood. Comfort food turned luxury. Their specialty cocktails like the Moonchild and Viva were perfectly crafted it was hard not to order another. Chef AZN shared they serve same-day harvest oysters from local Peerless Oyster Company, and that level of freshness shows in every single bite. If you are eating in Raleigh and not coming here, you're doing it wrong.

Google
Stumbled upon on a late night crawl for dinner. They are open till 11:30pm which I love, you don’t get late spots too much out here. Drinks were 10/10!! Service and atmosphere were phenomenal we ended up just ordering appetizers but I can’t wait to go try an entree. Overall we will be back - thanks Lindsay for the drink recommendation!

Google
I had a great experience at this restaurant thanks to Gabriella. She provided excellent customer service from start to finish — very attentive, friendly, and professional. She made sure everything was just right without being overbearing, which really made the meal enjoyable. The food was also delicious and came out exactly as ordered. Overall, great service and great food. I’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by Gabriella again.

Google
Overall, a great dining experience! The menu has variety and everything we ordered was delicious. No complaints! We had a reservation for 2, for dinner at 5:30 on a Sunday. We were seated immediately and while more people arrived, it was never full or overcrowded. We weren’t in a rush and took our time, enjoying the meal and the experience.

Google
Huge bar establishment and giant kitchen. We ordered four different kinds of specialty Oysters three cocktail mixes, and end the note with a delicious Traffle fries. This is a great place to hangout in North Hills, NC.

Google
This has always been one of my favorites for lunch/dinner. Thus, this was my first time trying the brunch. I was a bit underwhelmed. The deviled egg appetizer sounds way better read on the menu than they taste — I was excited about the variety but unfortunately did not enjoy one variation on the plate. They were all too salty and left a lot otherwise to be desired from a taste perspective. We were halfway through our meal when we leaned of the side bar of food that we could access — that was disappointing that the waitress didn’t share that bit of information while we were waiting. There was nothing exceptional about the chicken & waffles or the traditional waffle plate with eggs and potatoes. The crab cakes were just “ok.” The best dish at the table was the shrimp & grits. Service was inconsistent…I will stick to dinner (best chicken piccata in Raleigh)!

Google
Just had dinner here with a friend, and we were treated to absolutely spectacular service! Our server, Bella, went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The food was delicious, and I can't say I've had a better creme brulee~

Google
First time visiting STIR, and definitely won't be the last. Our server Aaron was very friendly and professional. Good portion, tasty and flavorful food. I had the Lobster and Srimp Mac and Cheese, and it wasn't disappointed. Everyone's food was delicious, as well as the drinks. Great place to enjoy food with good friends!

Yelp
Nice place for brunch Inside was bright, you would think it would be noisy because of all the people- it was pleasant. Plenty of seating. Our server was friendly, nice and got all of our orders correct. She kept out waters and coffee filled. I had the eggs Benedict- it was good a little sweet for me - still tasty! Parking lot was spacious.

Yelp
Management of the servers needs to manage! They need to demonstrate professionalism, work as a team, perform their duties with pride, pay better attention to the customers and so one. I don't blame them. There is no structure and lack of training and this falls on management. Great place for drinks. The food is another story.
google avatar

Yelp
STIR never disappoints. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak and eggs with fries and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful, the fries were crispy and seasoned just right, and the eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming and the service was spot on from start to finish. If you are looking for a spot with great food and a great vibe STIR is definitely the place to go.

Yelp
I have tasted the fare at many of the restaurants at North Hills, but this was my first time at Stir. I came here to grab a quick lunch with my daughter. There is ample free parking nearby, so finding parking was very easy. Walking up to the restaurant, I could tell that they were intentional about curating the vibe. We were seated outside. The decor lends to a chill, casual, trendy vibe. The seating was comfortable with brown bar top tables and periwinkle stools. Very chic. The menu is pescetarian friendly with numerous options. I ordered the Mahi Poke bowl and my daughter ordered the tuna poke bowl, but substituted the tuna for salmon. Our server, Shyann, was very flexible. Tge assistant manager also came by to ensure our food and service was adequate. We both received ample portions and the food was seasoned well. Although Stir boasts an oyster bar, we did not indulge since oysters are not in season. We will be back for their craft cocktails, which is another thing they are known for. I highly recommend this restaurant for its vibe, food, staff, and easy parking.

Yelp
Stopped by Stir on National Oyster Day for their $1.50 oysters. A little gritty but they tasted fresh, especially with the cocktail sauce and vinegar. The truffle fries were excellent, salty, cheesy and crispy. Also, had two rounds of French 75s, thank you to the bartender for the strong midday drinks!
google avatar

Hayley P.

Yelp
I've been to STIR a few times and went last night for a special they had on their oysters for national oyster day. $1.50 each - which brought their house dozen oysters from $28 to $18. I will say, the staff was confused when I mentioned the special but finally someone was able to verify it was happening that day. My friend and I got the steak Bao to share - very good - but only 3 for $13 and the hummus and pita to share. Both were very good. She got the steak frites, which looked delicious. And I will say, I was intrigued by all of their entrees, which is why I will go back. The oysters were good - if you like oysters, you will like these. I don't know if I would have paid $28 for them so I appreciate the discount. I know they have an extensive menu of fun cocktails but I just got Prosecco. Parking is what you would expect in North Hills - a bit of a hassle but there is plenty of it in both parking decks. Just have patience if you come around 5:30 any day of the week.

Yelp
Great atmosphere food was ok. My chicken and waffles were flavorful however the breakfast potatoes were just bland no seasoning. My waitress was pleasant. The live music was a nice touch for the Sunday brunch.
google avatar

Shaquina H.

Yelp
Food was delicious. I ordered the omelette with potatoes. The potatoes were a little hard. And I ordered a mimosa, pineapple and cranberry.

Yelp
Stir is located the newest section of North Hills. Parking is easy for Stir as you just need to pull into the Bank of America parking garage. I had brunch at Stir with a group and we were all disappointed that seating for bigger groups was at high tops rather than regular height tables. They had regular tables for 4 though. There is patio seating but I'm not sure of the setup for that. The decor was otherwise good here but it was loud even though the restaurant was mostly empty. They need something to help with the sound. Service was mostly good, just not the most attentive; the staff was mostly off to the side on their phones. I went with the Eggs Benedict as I do enjoy that and am still looking for a favorite place to order this. It was different here. The ham was sliced slivers rather than the normal slice of it. I'm not sure if this was there way to give a smaller portion of ham. It tasted fine but was just a different sensation when eating it. It wasn't a favorite though.

Yelp
The food was DELICIOUS, i tried my brother's burger and omg that was so good it was juicy and flavorful!! The waffle was not too sweet which is perfect!! The eggs were a little runny but that's ok!!! The fries were well seasoned as well! My waiter was very nice, the service was good! Ambience, i loved the music it looks very fancy . I RECOMMEND and i will be GOING AGAINNN!!

Yelp
We arrived here a little early and were sat sooner than our reservation. We immediately got waters and ordered the flame broiled oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and the steak bao buns. The steak buns were AMAZING. Also loved the oysters. Very tasty! All the drinks had different shaped ice. Very strong which is great considering prices! My tuna bowl was a bit bland and not my favorite. The guys ordered steaks and said they were chewy. My friend ordered the lobster crab cakes and she enjoyed them. I've lived up north in Maryland and they were good, but not the best. I would order something different. Drinks and appetizers were our favorite here. Maybe we just ordered all the wrong foods but would definitely come back and try it again!

Yelp
Called twice to make a reservation for Wednesday, December 10th, for a large group. Both times I was told the Event Manager would call me back to confirm or decline the reservation. I still have yet to receive a call back at all.
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place because it has a really good vibe to it and the food items look so delicious on the menu. Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. The taste of both my drink and my main course was very bland. Like it was clearly missing that pop of flavor and especially for ordering the most expensive entree on the menu, I was expecting a little more. The one exception to the bland-ness was the spicy tuna bites appetizer. Those were delicious! Our waitress was nice and took care of us for our meal so no complaints there. I really just didn't feel like there was any reason for me to go back. I think there are better places out there especially for the money.

Yelp
Overall the food here was good. I got the Vegetarian burger, with crispy potatoes. Both had a lot of flavor and I enjoyed it, very much. The issue was with the Truffle Fries. If they actually had Truffle oil on them I would be shocked. I could taste a bit of parmesan, but other then that it just tasted like plain French fries. I understand why they add the ranch to dip it in now. Speaking of ranch, there was only a tiny sample cup of it. Not even enough for a forth of the fries in that box. I had to go out and buy more ranch in order to finish my $12 box of fries. Will I order from here again? Probably, just not the truffle fries.

Yelp
Stir is a beautiful, trendy, and lively space that makes a great first impression. The dishes looked appealing, but they didn't quite live up to expectations. Service was very good, but the drinks were mid, with lighter pours than we would have liked. I can only speak for my own order, but the menu descriptions set the bar high. My first drink and my crispy mahi bowl both fell short -- the bowl seemed to be missing the pineapple sweet chili sauce and ended up bland. My second drink, a spicy margarita variation, was tasty but could have been elevated with a tajín rim or a more creative garnish. Overall, gorgeous atmosphere and solid service, but the food and drinks didn't fully deliver.

Yelp
Great, tasty brunch today with friends. I ordered the steak frites with a side of bacon & white cheddar grits. So yummy! I also enjoyed the $5 Bloody Mary, and our friends tried the $5 Mimosa (4 different juices to choose). My husband really enjoyed the coffee, noting how smooth it was. We will be back!
google avatar

Sara A.

Yelp
Solid place to stop by if you're in the area. I tried the steak bao buns, the fries, and the spicy tuna and thought they were good. Nothing so special, but solid stuff Staff were very kind and ambiance was nice.

Yelp
It was a comedy of errors for us at STIR Raleigh. We came here for after-dinner drinks and sat in the dining room. Here's what happened: 1. Our friend ordered her go-to drink, an Aperol spritz. She instead was served a Tito's Vodka & Tonic ($20), a drink which looks and tastes completely different. She told our server and our server said the drink was indeed an Aperol spritz. Lol. We laughed and joked that our friend was being gaslit by the staff at STIR. Photo (see drink in back): https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/stir-raleigh?select=XHtB2ucQcPWweimjzTDQEw&userid=j14WgRoU_-2ZE1aw1dXrJg She sent the drink back and eventually did receive a correctly-prepared Aperol spritz. We believe that our server truly didn't know what an Aperol spritz was and just trusted the bar staff to correctly fill orders. 2. My wife ordered a Field of Dreams ($12.00), made with gin, honey, lemon, lavender bitters, seltzer, and toasted lavender buds. She instead was served a Wild Moon Child ($12.50). According to STIR's drink menu, the Wild Moon Child "blends vodka, with lime cordial and STIR's housemade strawberry syrup. Aperol and fresh lemon juice ad [sic] extra vibrancy." Like our friend, my wife was served a completely different drink. My wife told our server and sent the drink back. Later, our server returned with one of STIR's bartenders to help clear the confusion. The bartender explained the Field of Dreams was on the online menu only and that it wasn't available. Without telling us, a Wild Moon Child was substituted instead. Maybe the staff thought we wouldn't notice. Or maybe there was a miscommunication. Whatever the case, since the Field of Dreams wasn't available, my wife ended up ordering a Wild Moon Child. She liked it enough to order another (she had two total). On the bright side, our other friend's drink order, a sangria, was correct on the first try. 3. When it came time to pay, the receipts were illegible. I think something was wrong with the receipt printer. Photo: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/stir-raleigh?select=WttMshF5852Wc8oLBTaPXg&userid=j14WgRoU_-2ZE1aw1dXrJg On top of everything, service was slow. We could only laugh about what had transpired. We don't blame our server. She seemed like a nice, sweet person, who was trying her best on a busy service night. It *was* messed up how the staff tried to pass off two incorrect drinks to us and not even tell us they intentionally substituted one of the drinks. We came here because our Aperol-spritz-loving friend had been here before for drinks and really liked it. She said her experience this time around was completely different, needless to say, for the worse. Our visit was on a Saturday night from about 7:30 to 10:00pm. The restaurant and bar were busy when we arrived. We had reservations booked through OpenTable. I recommend booking reservations for this place because it seems popular. Also, STIR Raleigh awards OpenTable dining points. Not every restaurant does, so that's a plus. In addition to its bar, STIR is known for oysters, seafood, and brunch. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am to 2:30pm. And they're open late, until midnight or 1:00am, seven nights a week. STIR Raleigh opened in June 2019. There are at least three other STIR locations: Chattanooga (flagship), Charlotte, and Knoxville. STIR is part of SquareOne Holding Company, headquartered in Chattanooga. The company has several bars, restaurants, and breweries in North Carolina and Tennessee (and Florida). Carolina Brewery, in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, is one of the SquareOne brands I'm familiar with. STIR Raleigh is located on the ground level of the Bank of America building in North Hills, next door to The Capital Grille (same building). We found free parking in the building's deck around the corner. We entered and exited the deck via Dartmouth Rd.

Yelp
This is my first time here. Parking available in a parking garage or valet. We used valet for parking. We had a 7pm reservation. Our waiter was friendly and provided suggestions. We met some friends here, so it was 6 of us total. We had some drinks and appetizers. The waiter did this nice presentation with sculpting the ice for the drink. I have provided a video of that presentation. I must say the lobster crab cake is delicious. It's a great appetizer paired with a drink. There's also a lobster crab cake meal. When in Raleigh again, I'd definitely opt for Stir. If you're looking for nice ambiance and a meal with family or friends, this is a nice option
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
This place was great! We had a wonderful waiter, Aaron, who explained everything to us. All of his suggestions were spot on. From the oysters, to the volcano roll, to the main course of the Mahi bowl (get it blackened), everything was phenomenal! My husband says they make one of the best old fashions ever (and he's sampled a lot)! Can't wait to visit again.
google avatar

Jeanita O.

Yelp
The ambience has a contemporary antique vibe, and I like it! The restaurant was clean, cozy, and spacious. I did not have a long wait time for my food. My drink was average, and nothing to rave about. On the other hand, the grilled chicken sandwich was juicy, seasoned, and flavorful. There's ample parking to the parking deck, and The Capital Grill is located across from this restaurant. I will dine again soon!...Check it out!

Yelp
My friend took me here during my visit to NC. This place is really cute on the inside. I enjoyed our server, she was very attentive. I like that they had a complementary buffet that you could get something from as well as your meal. The oatmeal cookies were pretty good from the buffet. I ordered the chicken and Waffles and it was pretty good. My from friend ordered the shrimp and grit and said that she enjoyed it. It was a nice Saturday morning place for brunch.
google avatar

Ryan W.

Yelp
Really awesome waitress two nights ago. Enjoyed the ribeye off the new fall menu with their new broiler. Oysters were also very good.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
This was the only place we could find that took reservations as this is Father's Day and graduation weekend. The crab bisque was quite salty. The grilled chicken sandwich that's marinated in pineapple juice did not have any pineapple flavor. Just salty. Menu was very minimal. Let's talk service. The service was very slow. We had to tell them we were ready to place our orders. We had a couple appetizers while we waited on the entrees. The appetizer plates were left on the table even after the entrees were out. No pre-bussing. Then there's flies everywhere. There's gotta be something that could've been done. Not one I recommend.

Tracey F.

Yelp
Food and service was fantastic. Oysters were delish!!!! We were there with a party of 6 and everyone was very friendly and worked with us to make sure we were all comfortable.
google avatar

Gil S.

Yelp
This place looks great, the vibe is awesome and there's a large bar front and center that has a huge selection. I thought we had a little glitch with the drinks order, it took a lot of time, but then from that point on the service was good, so overall no complaints. But the main thing is the food, and I was a little disappointed by that. I thought the oysters were really good, however everything else wasn't as good. Not bad, but I had higher expectations given the vibe and the prices.
google avatar

Dennis N.

Yelp
We just went to STIR restaurant in North Hills. It was great. Great food at reasonable prices. Sat outside on the beautiful Sunday morning with a light breeze and sunshine. A band was playing light jazz as we savored the experience. Lindsey our waitress and Patrick the manager were friendly and did a great job. We even received a complimentary desert for our anniversary. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Kayla B.

Yelp
Overall the experience was eh. It's clean and aesthetically pleasing. The bar has great drinks....if they have them in stock. There were a few things that were on the drink menu that they couldn't honor because they didn't have the liquor. I'm my opinion for the price....not worth it. The service was good. Shooters were $20 a pop. I ordered one of the cheapest things on the menu. Streak and fries. Didn't care for it. We also went for dinner and I know that their brunch is a different experience. It was so so.
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for brunch. We've been wanting to check them out for a while. Glad we came! Food was pretty good and came quickly. The service was outstanding! They are known for their cocktails and they did not disappoint.

Yvette S.

Yelp
Food was delicious... yet we wanted the roast beef melt (only available for lunch) and it wasn't ready at 1:00
google avatar

Andrea L.

Yelp
Visited for dinner time. We made a reservation although when we arrived, it did not look too busy and we're quickly seated. Started off with the bisque and fries. Our main courses were the lobster Mac and cheese and mahi mahi bowl. The soup was delicious. Fries were a little soggy for our taste, but still very good. Our main courses were a hit! The ambience is nice in the a way that they have the option to open the doors to the outdoors so you have a nice breeze coming in. Would recommend this place! North Hills is always a favorite.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Sunday brunch. The shrimp and grits are to die for and the guitarist for the jazz trio that plays there is not only musically gifted, but also ruggedly handsome and a brave, strong warrior.
google avatar

Kevin A.

Yelp
The food was good. A bit on the loud side with tv, music and people talking. Service was efficient.
google avatar

Unika B.

Yelp
After a relaxing salt room meditation session at wood house , had initially planned to grab dinner at Stir. They specialize in crafted ice tailored towards the drink you order. The ambiance was OK, the server was cool and prompt. The drink was tasty, however; the menu was unappealing. Ended up at Capital Grille, but may have to head back over to experience the food at some point. Unika B. & Co.
google avatar

Alicia B.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Seafood was fresh. Mikaela was great and attentive (also had the cutest glasses). The vibes were great - loved the live jazz band.

Rashia W.

Yelp
Overall great experience!! I would definitely come back. Went with girlfriends for brunch.

Lauren P.

Yelp
We made a reservation and were seated at a table right next to service area (maybe keep that for walk-ins). Service was average. Food was inedible. I told my server my seared tuna salad was too spicy - the sriracha seasoning was overpowering. While he offered to get me something else on menu, my mouth was on fire. My son's shrimp and grits was under a heat lamp too long -the shrimp was rubbery and there was a layer of grease pooling around the edge . Server apologized however when bill came, I was charged. Will NEVER go there again.
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Stir on 3/1/25 for my sons mother in-laws 70th birthday. I read some of the reviews before we went, and I have to say I disagree with the bad reviews. The food and service we experienced was outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory. The layout and ambiance was 1st rate. The only suggestion I have is for the outside seating have wind breaks installed and better outdoor heating! We'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Evonna S.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. On a recent visit to NC I came for a last minute brunch with my family (siblings, dad, cousin, aunt and uncle). We were seated quickly and our server was very personable and attentive. We all enjoyed what we ordered with the folks who ordered the chicken and waffles finishing their meals the quickest...they were also the quietest and we know what that means. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was very pleased. The portions were good with all of us being satisfied without being overly stuffed. Overall I recommend this establishment if you're looking for a good brunch spot.
google avatar

Jimmie P.

Yelp
Stopped for brunch. I've had the opportunity eat at some nice spot. Stir is definitely top notch. It wasn't just the food, Paul A / 5 (my Server) had a level of professionalism that I haven't seen in a lot of places. This is a secret sauce that appears to be in all of this places staff. Now you can't go wrong with a mimosas. The strawberry was the go to and many more followed after the first one (I.e that means they were GOOD). I had to try their deviled eggs. A great selection which they're not the same kind of deviled eggs (4 different kinds). My favorite, the ones with bacon. For the main dish some of the best shrimp and grits, creamy with perfect combination of everything. Last chicken and waffles. The waffles are so good, the chicken strips become the side. Great place to sit back enjoy the views with good people.
google avatar

Tarhy A.

Yelp
I always like coming here for their fusion menu that has good food coming out of the kitchen. This time I chose the poke bowl and was not disappointed. It is a healthy choice that will leave you feeling satisfyingly full. Our server was very nice and the food came out promptly. The atmosphere inside is a fun one. When it's warmer you do have the option to sit outside and they have garage doors to make the inside of their establishment an open air experience. I'm definitely coming back here. Till next time....

Yelp
Yikes! Things have changed at Stir in Raleigh. The hostess even agreed with me... confirming my observations by telling me they've had "a lot of turnover" This was one of my favorite places to go. I used to come in and sit at the bar and order oysters. The bartenders were always personable and conversant. Not anymore. And not for a long time. Over a year ago I came in on a Sunday to sit at the bar but instead was directed to a wobbly table in the high top bar area, with servers rushing past, literally making the table shake every time they walked by. I left rather than order. More recently, the removal from their menu of some items I really enjoyed. (Shrimp Louie Salad) the representation I got the last time I ordered it was a clear indication it should have been taken off the menu before I walked in that night More recently, I can not seem to shape my appetite to the hours their kitchen is now serving. Plus, with my work schedule, I tend to walk in for dinner on the early side. Evidently during shift change!! I lost count of how many times I was asked by my bartender (BREAKING THE SILENCE) to close out because they were leaving. I needed to write this out because I keep making the same mistake and going there because it's conveniently located. The menu has changed. The management has changed. And the service has absolutely plummeted. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I hate, more than anything to write this kind of review. But if it leads to some improvements for future customers, then that would be fine with me. I just don't think I can go to STIR again with any hopes of it being as good as it once was.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in North Hills with multiple other businesses so parking can be difficult at times. We came on a Saturday for brunch and didn't have a reservation so we did have to wait for a table. There are couches to sit while waiting for your table. We sat at the bar until our table was ready. The bar has hooks on the side to hang your purse while at the bar. Tables and booths are available to dine at as well. Once we were seated our server, Stephanie, greeted us. She was funny, helpful & very personable. I ordered an amaretto sour with an artisan Speer ice cube which she made in front of us. The drink was tasty and the ice cube and formation process was cool. While we waited for our food we were given a complimentary brunch bar that consisted of chicken salad with bite size pita bread, fresh fruit and chocolate chip cookies. All of the items tasted good. For brunch I got a breakfast burger with fries. The burger was topped with an egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The fries were good and seasoned well. I was provided with a complimentary piece of matcha green tea cheesecake with blue candle (because Stephanie asked my favorite color.) The only negative about our visit was that it took a while to get our food and drinks. I would def return to try other menu items.

Yelp
Came here again, this time for an early birthday brunch. The food was good, service was good, and we left happy and full! Thank goodness the weather was nice, they had the windows open and it felt amazing. We will be back, of course!

Yelp
I visited Stir in Raleigh for the first time on Labor Day and it was great! I had their chicken and waffles, with a side of grits! Omg the grits are delicious!! The server we had, I think his name was Kaiden, he was very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
STIR was a great experience overall at a reasonable price. The restaurant was clean and modern, the music wasn't too loud so you could actually talk, the bar was impressive and clean. They had a few TVs with the Final Four playing, but muted so you could talk and not feel like you were in a sports bar. The complimentary valet parking was a very nice touch as well because it removed the stress of finding a parking spot in the tight urban area. We ordered a few drinks, one of which was the Smoked Hoodoo Carré, and both drinks were mixed well, not too strong, not too weak. The drinks at Stir were better than a top rated speakeasy we recently visited in Raleigh. The food was excellent, great taste, cooked as ordered, and delivered with good timing in correspondence with the rest of the meal. The menu had multiple options for different diets. The service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly and professional. She was attentive without bugging us. I'd definitely go back to Stir!

Yelp
We went to STIR for the first time tonight We were warmly greeted when we entered and were seated right away Axel, our waiter, arrived quickly and provided us an interesting and enjoyable overview of the menu and their ice making and cutting process for making speciality ice for their drinks. We went with an assortment of appetizers for our meal. The bar bun sliders were a mouth watering delight with the perfectly seasoned meat. The Spicy Tuna Bites had a fairly aggressive seasoning that bought the bite to life. We would recommend both of these anytime. The corn and bacon chowder included a nice assortment of herbs and every spoonful was a delight. We loved Axel's service. However there was one strange occurrence that gave the place an odd vibe. I went to use the restroom but the stall was locked. I waited and heard nothing. I knocked on the door and received no response. I unlocked the door and an employee was laying on the floor listening to music and looked angry at me for disturbing his rest. I told him to leave and I took care of my business When I was done, the employee was still in the restroom. I informed an employee outside of the restroom about the situation. A manager checked and the employee came out a few minutes later and went into the kitchen. The manager never stopped by to explain or apologize for the situation. Makes me think this might be normal behavior at this placeP

Yelp
This is an overpriced mess of a place. One of those stupid and pretentious little places. Bad service (had to summon someone to take our order) , mediocre overpriced food that we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for. Would not go back.

Yelp
Don't hesitate to give Stir a try. The food is, especially brunch, is good. I love the little appetizer plate you get. The chicken salad is really good. The service, for the most part is good. However, the last time we visited for a friend's birthday, it was very very busy. Our waiter was super distracted and unattentive, and our food was just OK. But, I think (hope) this was an exception and it doesn't become the rule. If you are going for the ambience, don't expect to have a nice quiet date. Wrong spot. But, if you want to eat, sip, and chat, you can't go wrong. Happy eating.
