Great experience! Excellent drinks, attentive wait staff and our chef was very entertaining. The food was delicious and the serving size very generous (3 meals easily). We will definitely dine here again!

I wasn’t impressed with the food or service. I ordered eel nigiri and it was not good at all. Also ordered Mongolian beef and it was just subpar at best. If you’re looking for authentic or good flavor I’d say I’m sure you could find better for the price.

I would not recommend going to Stix until the fix the following: the front door greeter is a horrible young man with lots of attitude. He must be the owner because he was all over the place and total rude. The manager on hand this past weekend was Rebecca. She lacked the proper skillset to manage or direct a staff. She could not think fast on her feet or make critical decision. There were a few great moments during our experience, which is that our server Linsey was outstanding. She was timely, patience and efficient. They tried to remove her from our table but we special requested her. Our chef was very entertaining and the food was good. Again, when you are spending your money at any restaurant there should be a level of excellent from the host, server, cook and management team that makes you feel important and special. I would not recommend this restaurant no time soon. Our prior visit in April 2025 was great, but November 2025 was horrible. I see why it was extremely slow this particular day. Bad business

I would skip this place. Ordered salmon and rice ($28) and crab cream cheese ($8.50) wontons to go. It was so expensive and I was so unhappy with the food. I have never had sweet wontons. I have no idea what they are putting inside the wontons but It didn’t taste like cream cheese. I didn’t even finish one of the four. I think $28 dollars was too high for a plate of salmon with rice. Next time I will stay home and make it myself. So disappointed.

Our Granddaughter had her 17th Birthday Celebration there yesterday. Our server Chole was awesome, she provided exceptional customer service. The food was delicious. Our Chef entertained the kids from start to finish.

First off I have always visited this establishment during the day. This is my first evening experience and from the moment of being sat we waited 20 minutes and literally had to ask WHO was our server. Finally someone greeted us. She was sweet I can't fault her for not knowing that our table was hers....I had steak med which was cooked well and ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING. OVER ALL this was not a good evening experience......

Stix has always been a pretty decent spot over the years! The service is always top tier & the prices are pretty decent. However the food itself does lack flavor these days. Not sure what has happened in the flavor dept. however, I will give them 4 stars overall for their service & drinks.

I wanted to share feedback about my recent visit to your Collierville location. After arriving, we waited about 15 minutes without anyone greeting us, and when someone finally approached, she was clearly very high and could barely comprehend what we were saying — we had to repeat ourselves several times. Every table was full, there didn’t seem to be a cook available, and the entire experience felt extremely disorganized and unprofessional. We ultimately decided to walk out, and on our way out we advised a family of six not to go in based on what we experienced, and they chose to leave as well.

My husband took me here for my birthday and this time we did the hibachi. It was a great experience for the celebration and my little one's first time. He enjoyed it from the beginning til the end. My older son and I ordered the shrimp and filet with extra rice. FYI door order extra rice, as it's a lot. You will already get two big scoops as is. My husband got the shrimp and chicken and asked for it to be spicy which looked amazing. My little one got lo mein and shared the filet with me. Unfortunately I can't remember our server's name but she was amazing and on top of it when taking care of us. I didn't tell them it was my birthday since we had cake at home, but I did see they will bring you some kind of dessert. Amazing place again with amazing service.

Been here a number of times over the years and it has slowly gone downhill a bit. They used to be great for Hibachi and Sushi, but it's also the other stuff that is a growing concern (dingy inside, kind of dirty looking, etc.). I had the Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi plate with extra rice. Overall decent but I could not shake the atmosphere. The salad however, was fantastic (dressing super awesome). In summary, if you are looking for decent food and don't mind the surroundings, there ya go.

We had a party of four on a Wednesday at 6:30 pm, had a small wait maybe 10 mins. We ordered a kids chicken with extra side of rice, 3 sushi rolls, and crab wonton order for an appetizer. The wontons were 5 stars I only wish it had more pieces! It came with 4 and they were so good. The sushi was all good but not great. We didn't get an option of low sodium soy sauce they just brought out the red cap, which we didn't complain about. The kids chicken was delicious and with the double order of side rice it was more than enough rice. As for the interior of the restaurant, the whole hibachi side was packed. It looked fun over there. Our waitress seemed to have a hard time hearing us when we ordered so that was a little difficult to navigate ordering, she would just stare at us and then say do you know what you want? When I just ordered to her face. We did get fortune cookies when we got the check, which was a fun addition. The menu stated tables of 5 or more are charged an 18% gratuity. To increase my star rating I would want more personalized service, a clearer menu (fried rice is not even on the menu as an option to order a la carte but you can order it this way) and photos of the menu items on yelp or on the physical menu.

We came here to enjoy a little late night snack. I enjoyed one of the new specials of sushi which it was really really good especially the dipping sauce that came with it. I love the steam buns. They are always delicious and the tempura fried shrimp was really great with the steam bun. The fried rice was just as good as when they cook it on the hibachi. The noodles were OK for me. I didn't really care for the texture. The mixed vegetables was good too. The server was able to make recommendations of menu items and he was nice.

The food was good except the teriyaki chicken a little over cooked. The ice in the drinks were bit moldy or the ice machines are not clean with an aftertaste. Management needs to take notice.

We used to go here at least once a month and I enjoyed it. I moved out of Collierville and it wasn't as convenient so it's been a couple of years since I've been there. I'll have to say things have really changed. The waitress was new and the service was not great and definitely inefficient in every way. She never brought us water, only took drink orders. When I asked for a glass of water, she replaced my son's sweet tea with water, never replacing the sweet tea or asking if he wanted a tea refill, but still didn't bring me a water. I asked for soy sauce and instead of bringing me a soy sauce dispenser they brought soy sauce in a dipping cup. I did not order any sushi to dip. I just wanted to put it on my fried rice. I had to ask for chopsticks in a restaurant named Stix. The food quality itself was OK but not as good as it used to be. My medium-rare steak was closer to medium-well done. Tough and disappointing. I think the best thing about this place at this point is the portion sizes, which are huge. You can definitely count on leftovers. A very Meh experience.

I usually don't make negative reviews but this place was absolutely terrible. Found a hair in my vegetables, everything had zero taste; including the filet that I paid extra for. Not to mention the waitress that never came by or did anything but get our drinks. And then took 25 minutes to bring the check. Clearly the automatic 15% gratuity makes them not want to do their jobs. Don't go here unless you want to waste money and get nothing in return.

BEST GINGER SALAD DRESSING EVER! This used to be my fav hibachi place but I'm kinda over hibachi so now I'm excited to see what other things this place has to offer. On my last visit I was excited to try the Asian Coconut Curry and it was delicious! I really enjoyed it! When do I want hibachi, I like to get hibachi chicken and mix the chicken up with their chile sauce. I also add sweet and sour sauce to my fried rice. At the hibachi you can also choose to opt out of your soup and salad and get more rice in your meal (though I was starving by the time my food came) or you can opt out of salad for two soups or out of soup for a double salad. Hubby even tried opting out of veggies for more rice but somehow ended up with both anything. I will say their ginger salad and is the best I've ever had. Their wontons are equally delectable (and on the Happy Hour menu!). This is the only place where I still like the clear soup. I did not like the pan fried dumplings and cannot remember if I like the other type they have or not (guess I'll have to try it!) The Hibachi Diablo Shrimp tasted better with chile sauce and surprisingly tasted better the next day. They have a happy hour (4:30-6:30) in which you can get certain appetizers and the mini sushi rolls for cheaper. We have definitely gotten more stuff because of that. It was great! The specialty rolls are different for each area so keep that in mind when visiting different locations. Stix always has good food! It's a little over-crowded inside the restaurant for my liking. The service is good as well.

I don't like Asian food but this is the only place I do like. Because the ginger dressing and the red chili paste they have here. The store bought stuff just doesn't taste the same. I always get the same order dinner portion of Hibachi Chicken, extra rice in place of soup and/or salad, (salad if I am getting that instead), 4 chili pastes and a bottle of salad dressing.

My colleagues and I went there for lunch today. The food and service were great. I do recommend this restaurant. I will be going back there again.

Visited during slower time. Greeted by hostess right away and seated. Server got our drinks right away and was great timing with ordering and filling up waters, service was excellent! Bathroom was clean and smelled fresh. Food came out fast. We got Mongolian chicken and pad Thai chicken noodles. Quality of food wasn't the greatest. Atmosphere is very fun, tasteful music not too loud. I'd recommend giving this place a try!

We just got done with my daughters birthday dinner at Stix and I have to say the service was AMAZING! When we got there today, It was nothing short of spectacular and they made my daughter feel so special. We had a table full of kids that were loud and messy and no one batted an eye at us. Our waitress Ro was especially great and so patient with our multiple kids and their i need another ketchup and lemonade right now! Nothing but positive things to say and thank you!!! I have no idea how any one can have once ounce of negative things to say and no I don't work there. We will be back!

Dined here for a birthday dinner. Our party had two tables. I will say that I always give extra grace when there's a large party at any restaurant that I dine in. However, customer service and promptness is so important to me. Our sever was good, but she could've been more prompt. The server who worked with our other table (Justin) was amazing. He was prompt, attentive, kind, etc. There was a looooooooooong wait for hibachi for half our party. The food and beverage was nice.

The food and atmosphere were great but the waiter acted like he was bothered to take our orders. All throughout dinner if we asked for anything like napkins, refills, etc he seemed really annoyed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible service. The manager was TRASH! My friend was having a birthday dinner here and when I tell you 2 hours after waiting for a table we still didn't eat. We got on the waiting list at 6:3 and saw multiple people who came on behind us get seated before us! It was very frustrating. The communication between us and the restaurant was off because we kept getting told different things. Then after waiting we decided to leave then they tried telling us we could sit in regular seating and not hibachi table. I haven't been here since 2014 when they were great. But now it's trash!! I will not be back!!! And not to bring race into this but everybody who got seated before us but arrived after us was white and my majority party was black.... Let that soak in.... I will not be back. DO BETTER STIX

We came her for my sons birthday. It was 20 of us. I was able to make reservations for 630. We had a grace period of 15 minutes. Of course, not everyone made it on time even with the grace period. The hostess was very nice and waited for the late arrivals (extra 5 minutes). The food was so good, the service from our waiter was amazing, I do think the chef was just going through the motions but since the food was good - we were okay with it. The kids loved the show but loved their sushi better. My mom loved the ginger dressing so much she bought a container of it. This is definitely a good back to spot.

Casey was a great waitress; very patient, made sure we all had the right order. The food was amazing and the cook was spectacular, give him and Casey a raise.

Extremely slow service. Sat down for 15 mins, no one came to our table. Had to flag someone that looks like a manager to ask for our server. Ordered Edamame and cucumber salad for a statrter. 30 mins in still didnt get any food. How long does it take to make a cucumber salad. Never had to wait 30 mins for 1 before. Dont come here unless you have plenty of time to kill and not hungry.

If you love rice, you will love this place...they serve their teppanyaki plates with an ice cream scoop

My family went to eat and nobody helped us. We walked out. Will never go back. One lady just kept doing what she was doing.

This is just on the table service, not the hibachi service. The lettuce wraps were pretty good. I don't expect the sauciness of it, but the taste was fine. The tuna nachos would have been good except for the sweet soy sauce. It was gross. My daughter really liked the Memphis in May roll, so maybe I'll go back for sushi one day. The hibachi rice served at the table was bland, but this is something I've noticed at other restaurants. Hibachi is just not as good with the regular table service. The hibachi salmon was overcooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The elements are there. They just need to work on execution.

Service was great. Hibachi was exciting to watch. Enjoyed the fire because it was kinda cold inside the restaurant. Portion size was large. Great value.

One of the worst food experiences of my life .My Husband and I came in to eat on our anniversary and within 15 minutes of us sitting down the server brought us dirty glasses and dirty silverware. I asked for another plate and that too was still dirty me and my husband got up and left subsequently. Big waste of time we won't be back!!

Our waitress was excellent! But our sushi was a little warm which makes me nauseous. And the salmon was Smokey if you like that it's ok but if your not expecting it it reminds you of lox. So be aware of that. We won't be back.

Bumping this up to 4 stars because Wayne got back with me. He explained he was committed to correcting the issue and making it right. It is refreshing to have a manager care about his business to ensure customer satisfaction. We are looking forward to coming back! Hope I have a chance to push this up to 5 stars.

My party of eight we had an absolute blast our chef kept us very entertained we laugh the entire time he was cooking he made the evening so enjoyable that's all we talked about and the food was delicious too the drinks were great everything went very well.

Love bringing the family to Stix. Family friendly and good food. The wait staff could be more professional, but now days it's nice to have anyone working. Overall we do enjoy it.

Hostess was so rude. Do not recommend. Moved us to the bottom of the line without telling us.

We had the server that took 42 minutes to get us our drinks. And we had to keep reminding him. And the man that seats you has no respect are bedside manners. And is rude as hell to the customers. However the food was great and so was the man that cooked it. A lot of disorder and not enough training with the staff! Very saddened by the experience. And was let down by my expectations.

Recommend Stix. Hibachi chicken is very good they have an awesome Yum Yum sauce and a good selection of mixed drinks.

Food was flavorless. The best thing was the $3 soup. Mongolian beef tasted like oil and grease. Broccoli was definitely microwaved then tossed in sauce and thrown on the plate. Rice was flavorless and cooked very poorly. Super disappointed as this used to be a favorite. Unfortunately will not be back.

The wait wasn't long and the food was good. My server was presumptuous. We were only a party of 4 but gratuity was added into the check. My order was simple, wonton soup. We had hibachi completed for 2 and still no soup. She didn't return about my soup until after the chef was cleaning. I love to tip high, FOR GREAT SERVICE. Where else are you rewarded for poor service with a huge tip? I paid the tip but management never came to address any issues. Patrons be ware of poor and OVERPRICED SERVICE!

The restaurant looks good but the host is super rude. He refused to estimate the wait time for a table in way that made it clear he was not interested in our business. They had 30 open spots at the hibachi and 4 additional tables completely available. He dismissed us in an obtuse manner that was insulting. I hope the management reconsiders who they have representing their business because the rest of the staff was super friendly.

Had a big family gathering there, and it was PERFECT. Hibachi chefs were entertaining and engaging, the wait staff was prompt and polite, and the food was incredible! Especially recommend the Ginger Salad and Steak Hibachi. Also enjoyed the Pan-Fried Dumplings and the Alaska Roll. An excellent experience at a fair price. Highly recommended!

We arrived shortly before 6pm and we were promptly seated. Christian and Dawn come down to visit us and to see the city. Sarah and i recommended Stixx. Your restaurant didn't disappoint us, and you kept our drinks full. I had steak and shirmp, compltely forgot how easy it is to get full very fast. The rest of our group had chicken. We will be coming back again.

This is my friend's favorite place to eat she visits every chance she gets when I went to visit her in Memphis we rode out here for lunch. I can see why this place is all the rage. This is one of the best Japanese steakhouses I've ever been to. I loved the spring rolls, the best I've ever had before in my life! Service was friendly. If I lived here I'd be coming here every week also. Please come to Atlanta.

The girl with green hair ran her mouth my entire meal and she has a very annoying voice. I don't know what her position is but it was rude and unprofessional. Great food, but she ruined the ambiance.

Was disappointed this time . Had been to lunch ordered Hibachi Teriyaki Chicken. It never tasted like a fried Rice in any mean. Chicken was over cooked and was hard to eat. The ginger salad and Dynamite shrimp was good though. My feedback is Hibachi preparation made us attractive BUT food was quashed.

It was April 28, 2018 which is also National Superheroes Day! A group of girlfriends dined in before going to a see the movie "Avengers Infinity War" My favorites: Dynamtic Shrimp (bang, bang) and the edamame I must say that the customer service was awesome!

I'm super understanding when it comes to people having bad days. But an entire restaurant having a bad night is inexcusable. We waited 45 min after being seated for our chef to come. Our salads and soups came after the fried rice. I got up myself to get our refills on drinks for our kids. Every order was wrong. The chef was having us exchange plates with strangers. The fried rice was WAY over cooked, the teriyaki chicken was just chicken with a sauce over the top once it was plated. We were not offered sauces. The hood wasn't working properly and the smoke from the lemon/vodka mixture went into my parents and sons eyes. They were nice enough to take 20% off although our bill was wrong too. We were charged an extra entree and an extra charge for fried rice. The sushi was good. And I hope for the sake of the mall, the manager at Stix can turn it around. Every table around us was having the same issues. Please don't go here until you've heard they've turned it around.
