We had such an unbelievable experience at STK. They had just opened the night before, and we stumbled upon them while walking around the area and wow, it turned out to be some of the best food we’ve ever had. The spicy watermelon margarita and the mini donuts for dessert were definite standouts, but we tried a variety of appetizers and were blown away by all of them. The service was equally impressive. Darren, the manager, went above and beyond, and the entire team made us feel like family. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Now, the ambiance is wonderful! However, I only went to the outside bar which was nice sat right by the waterfall and I loved the bar and pool scene as well as the fire place. The customer service was amazing I'll give that 5 stars! Now the food, I would only give 2-3 stars for the bean bites with sauce, and 4 stars for the tater tots! The fries and beef plate lol really 6 fries lol, that was 3 stars. We ordered off the happy hour menu at 2:30pm because I wasn't hungry! I'm vegan day 12! So I only ate non meat bites. Would I be back? Yes. I liked seeing the W hotel haven't been to this location and I wanna see the inside portion of STK... I'm curious now! I'll give a solid 4 stars!

Best happy hour in the village! Love the variety and options in the happy hour menu. We dined inside at the bar. Service was prompt. Ordered a bunch of different items. The fries aren't on the happy hour menu but they are a must. The best fries! My faves are the Wagyu taco and the lil burger. Good cocktails too.

What a fun night! Always the best time on my birthday since it's during the holiday season :) STK located inside the W hotel. Welcomed by 2 hosts and taken care of by Sarina one of the best servers I've come across! Sit at her tables if you can! The vibe is modern and as you can tell dark with bright lights and character. It's been years since I've been here at the hotel and it seems to be doing well. Started off with a cocktail of course Toasted Marshmallow old fashion - a favorite and this was a good smoky version ( I suggest having a torch handy to light it up lol). Ceasar salad is good for 2. The dressing is a bit heavy for me but I didn't mind it. Not a traditional ceasar since there was no anchovies- ok with that. Calamari was perfect and not overly battered! The crispy Thai basil leaves was a nice touch. Braised short ribs - no knife needed good flavor. I usually prefer my mashed potatoes in the side so it's not in sauce- just noting this for anyone ordering this. Filet was also tender and just the right seasoning and with the chimichurri sauce was perfect! The sparkler on the birthday ice cream was the best treat! Lots of space for larger groups. Parking a may be difficult on the street but they also offer valet.

I honestly don't know what I was expecting but we were the only people in the restaurant so that was a bit awk. Very vibey and good atmosphere but it almost felt like it was supposed to be either for business dinners or a club. No in. Between! The food was okay but not great but the drink was good at least and the bartender was fun. Probably would only recommend coming for happy hour?

Went for the $3 $6 $9 happy hour! Food was great- get the steak frites & calamari!! My friend liked the lil burg & fries too. Tater tots were too peppery for me and too salty for my friend. Service was friendly and knowledgeable of all the food. We sat on the patio by the pool and it was a fun time. Relaxing and casual but can dress up too! Recommend street metered parking.

I love my experience at the STK steakhouse. We were seated right away. Our waiter was amazing m, very nice and fun. The bread was really good. We ordered the fried calamari. Omg, it was so good that I devoured almost all by myself. I ordered the salmon and it was exquisite. The restaurant was modern, located inside the W Hotel. Ambiance is fantastic. Valet parking was $24 and so glad my friend paid mine too !

George G was an outstanding and attentive server. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and personable. Our food was phenomenal. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and hot. The hot plates and melted butter on our filets were top notch!! And the drinks were great!!

My co-workers and I came here to celebrate a birthday and had the best time. From when we walked in, we felt we were living an upscale experience. We were able to make a reservation an hour in advance (there was plenty of seating). Sarina was amazing and squeezed our orders in just as HH was coming to a close! This is one of the best happy hours I've been to in the area. Everything is $3, 6, or 9. I spent $9 for my drink (I forgot what it was called but it was rye, cold brew liquor, tobacco bitters, and chocolate covered espresso beans, 4/5), $9 for two tuna tartare tacos (5/5), $6 on two wagyu meatballs (4/5), and $6 on two oysters (4/5). I also tried the spiced watermelon cocktail (5/5), tots (5/5), falafel (4/5), wagyu taco (5/5), truffle fries (5/5), beef tartare (5/5), and short rib quesadilla (4/5). The tots blew me away with their value and flavor. I would definitely reorder the tuna and wagyu tacos as well, and the spiced watermelon cocktail. Sarina was so sweet and even brought the birthday girl a free giant scoop of ice cream!

I came to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed my experience overall. What really stood out for me was the service. Jimmy was awesome and STK will not be STK without him. He recommended the porterhouse, lobster Mac n cheese and Yukon gold mashed potatoes, and everything was delicious. I am not a Whiskey girl, but he recommended the Fade to BlackBerry drink and it was so good! I would definitely come back!

Pretty interesting set up all together. When you walk in the hotel doesn't really guide you we asked a guest where we should go. Went to the outside patio sat ourselves due to the bartender was busy. When seated a caucasian gentleman with blonde hair walked by barely said hi. Ask the bar for menus and we sat ourselves. When the same server came by with water he held the water close and said " Y'all ladies staying it's cold" he didn't pour the water until we stated we were staying. We notice he wasn't so interested in helping us. The guest next to us sat after us and he already got them waters plus drinks as we still waited. Well he never came bk a whole different server Joswaye came and took our order. Ordered tons of appetizers and a few drinks. We enjoyed the outside and more drinks. Food wasn't bad the steak was a bit overcooked. Would I come back not sure. This is a fine dining restaurant but felt like a backyard hole in the wall. I think I'll give the dinner a try vs happy hour

Let me start off by saying I LOVE STK! I've been going for years and years! At one point I was there every Sunday. STK is located in the W hotel in Westwood, and I would make the drive once a week to go! Ambiance is unbeatable! On the weekdays it's a little quieter with less guest but on the weekends it's jammin! I believe they still have a live Dj playing on those days! It's like a party. They definitely are a sexy steakhouse! Food is amazing on all levels. They have the best selections of steaks.. anything from filets to Delmonico ribeyes. Sides are exceptional! If you take anything from this review please please order the lobster Mac and cheese, sweet corn pudding( sweet in a great way) and the Brussels tossed in bacon! But I don't come here for the food ... I come here for the service. I have never experienced such high hospitality ever, and I work in a restaurant. DB has been my server for over 5 years and I would never sit with anyone else here. The way he commands a table and ensures our evening is the most pleasurable. I truly believe STKs success is due to him. He is extremely knowledgeable in all food and wine. Don't skip out on dessert ! Their cookies are amazing ! Thank you STK! I'll see you next week and the week after that and the week after that

Omg dinner was delicious definitely redeemed themselves from the whole mishap. Jeff was an amazing and angel was a great help as well. We did send out steaks back though because we ordered medium rare and they came out medium to medium well. Cannot wait to come back again. But we will make sure to come after 5pm (when they actually open) thanks Again jeff for salvaging my wife's birthday dinner

great experience, got the dinner for two with the little burgers, asparagus, mac n cheese, ny strip, sea bass, and apple pie. everything was great, especially the strip with the truffle butter. would definitely recommend adding it on. service and ambiance was also nice. would come back.

Bookmark this place if you are looking for a girls night out or a romantic date night. The ambience and interior design is stunning and definitely gives instagram worthy photo. Serves were attentive and food was amazing! Update: Adding on to my previous review--just had my birthday dinner at STK, and they truly made the night unforgettable! My birthday dinner at STK was everything I could have hoped for and more--it was truly the best birthday I've ever had. Surrounded by the people who mean the world to me, I felt incredibly blessed and grateful. STK made every moment feel so special, from the drinks and beautifully presented food to the thoughtful details like hand-drawn cards with my name. I felt like the main character all night! The sparklers, the constant flow of shots, and the celebratory desserts were unforgettable. Everything flowed seamlessly, and it was as if I had manifested the perfect evening. I also want to mention that STK currently has an amazing promo going on: Steak Night for Two at just $69 per person. It's the perfect deal for a special night out! I can't wait to come back and enjoy even more celebrations here. Thank you, STK, for making my birthday so magical!

STK is a trendy steakhouse inside the W. Unfortunately it's overrated and overpriced. The steaks were not tender nor cooked as requested. The manager did offer to remake the steak. We also ordered Lobster linguine but it was somewhat dry. We also ordered the Sea Bass which one of our guests said was very good. Everyone enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts and the Mac and Cheese. Highlights of the evening were the birthday deserts, Prosecco, and flavored shots.

Went for sunday brunch and the service and some of the food was horrific - was shocked that an establishment with such high prices could be so bad in service and quality of food - from serving coffee to checking how thing were going - to the condition of some of the food - to clearing tables- we were a party of 7 long time friends and i made the reservation because I heard it was high quality - just awful !

Jimmy and Helen killed it with our 17 party table!!!! I couldn't ask for better service from these two!!! Drinks were flowing and our party was soooo happy and taken care of!!! If you come to STK please sit where Jimmy and Helen are serving you won't be disappointed!!!

Had the best dinner with my date. Ordered the watermelon cocktail which was phenomenal. Had an espresso martini too. The fish was just so good. I'm obsessed with the seasoning and sauce on the fish. Beautiful weather. Attentive pleasant servers. The calamari happy hour appetizer was delicious. Finished with the chocolate cake. Good vibes here. Pretty location by the pool. Fun art in the hotel. Cool trendy friendly restaurant/hotel.

All style, little substance. The most overpriced piece of meat that I've eaten in L.A. I've eaten alot of steak in my life. Thanks to my dad, we celebrate almost all special occasions by going to eat steak. I've probably eaten at all the big steak houses in L.A. This restaurant sits at the bottom of that list. I should have known what I was in for when I walked into this restaurant and could see the "STK" flower wall fit for Instagram posts and the pounding music coming from a DJ bobbing and weaving in the middle of the restaurant. Ok, I get it. Like many restaurants it's about being seen and being trendy. That's fine. Do your thing. As long as I get decent food, I can tolerate the decor. Our server was good. Although he started with a weird disclaimer. He said that although they welcome creativity, they won't be able to make substitutions today (Mother's Day). I think it was his delivery that made it awkward. Otherwise he was good, checking in on our meal several times and refilling our water. Before taking our order, he did let us know that this was a steak house and they specialize in steak. I'm going to cut to the chase and say that our steaks were undercooked and under seasoned. Almost no salt. I had to lick the length of the steak to even get a hint of salt. My son and I both had to salt our steaks. To the restaurant's credit, they cooked both of our steaks to the same rare that we didn't ask for. We asked for medium rare, but what we got was seared ahi. I can take rare steak, if it has a good sear and seasoned appropriately. It was not. Adding further insult to injury, it was one of the most expensive meals I've had at a steak restaurant with my family. I don't mind paying for a large bill as long as the food meets certain expectations. But when a steak tastes like it came from Outback Steakhouse, don't charge me exorbitant prices. I can't, in good conscience recommend this place to any of my friends. There's much better steak in L.A.

The ambiance and service is amazing! My favorite part was the drinks. I will definitely be back, I went on a Monday night, but heard I should come back in Friday when they have a DJ!

The food was very good. The ambiance was cool with beautiful flowers, the service could've been better. I had experienced this place in a parking lot 3 times via delivery and wondered what the would be like and it was not so good. We had 18 ox medium rare dry age stip, my strip, lobster Mac and cheese and mad amounts of watermelon margaritas but the server tried to take advantage of us being drinking. Now that I know the ambiance, food and service I'm good to go and will order it back to the parking lot. The service gets this place the 3 stars. He was gunho about us drinking and ordering while drunk to press us for as much cash as possible. The food great and ambiance too. Back to the parking lot orders for me.

After reviewing the STK in DC it dawned on me that my review for STK LA was missing in action! STK is hands down my fave! Everything on the menu is phenomenal! Can't go wrong with this establishment! #STKSnob

Came for anniversary. Overpriced mediocre food. Parking is valet $26 w/ validation unless you get lucky w street parking. Luckily it's on a small street because we had to wait for valet to get to us. Here are my ratings: Ambience : 8.7/10 Service : 9.5/10 (josue was our server. He was great) Food : 7.3/10 (below are items I ordered) Pricing : way overpriced Porterhouse 28 oz : filet was great nice and buttery. Ny strip was tough and wasn't great Calamari : 5/10 batter just fell off and all you had was chewy squid. Half dozen oysters : 8.7/10 Mac and cheese : 8.8/10 Parmesan truffle fries 8/10 Drinks are about $20 each They did give us free dessert but almost charged us until i ask what the charge was. Also they did a parade of sparklers and free lemon drop shots around 9pm. Overall : very disappointing besides all the gimmicks to incite the experience.

First time trying STK and overall our experience was good. There were four in our party. We made a same day reservation for dinner. The ambiance was very pleasant except for the "trees decorated with snow" at the back of our booth that kept getting in our hair. Our server, George was great and very attentive! Our drinks were good. The bread served had a blue cheese butter crumble on top. It was warm and delicious. We received a mushroom truffle compliments of the chef. We shared an appetizer of thick sliced maple and bourbon bacon served on apple cabbage slaw. Yum! Most of our meal was so good and perfectly prepared except for the asparagus. It was brought to the table lukewarm and was inedible. We even attempted to "doctor it up" at home with no luck. Otherwise, our sea bass, filet mignons, lobster tails, rack of lamb, Yukon gold mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were amazing! Only other issue we had was not receiving a claim ticket from the valet which we didn't realize until we requested our Tesla. Easily resolved. Would definitely give STK another try whenever we're in the area.

STK for Thanksgiving was a Thanksgiving tradition--we will never go back for it again. Not only skimped us on portion but it was FUNKY tasting. Weird spices added to both turkey. Like misplaced Indian spices gone wrong. We asked ourselves why..we've been here before and we come back because it's normally so delicious. The sides were ok but basically non existent on our plate! Glad we ordered lobster Mac that was really good, so were green beans and bread, that's all I ate. We were an early reservation but we were like...are they running out of food? Because this plate had never been our experience. I wanted to send my whole plate of food back and get something completely different but my friends get embarrassed and urged me to just write a review instead and pick up food at someone's house as it's Thanksgiving. I will post both this time and last time we came.This time vs last time is such a dramatic change not only in taste but also portion mind you for all 3 of us we do spend $300-$500 which is fun for us but please meet us at that level we should have that level of food and also service which we also did not have. Little things in service do add up especially at this level of restaurant but it's really the food that has me most surprised & upset. When I tell you in the past it was phenomenal 10/10...believe me. This year was so funky/weird and yes I have a broad palette! We can't be the only ones who thought this, unless we were the only ones who had this meat, that's how jarring it was. It was giving bait and switch. We enjoyed our bottle of Pinot noir A LOT our server recommended. At least we had that. My friends and I had a great time dining and celebrating a birthday party here. The ambience was very nice and the steak and lobster and our cocktails were amazing too. Definitely a fun place to dine!

Absolutely a never again. We try a new steakhouse for family's birthday celebrations. Our rib eye and filet mignon were overcooked and bland. Outback has a better rib eye. The braised short rib was very tender but it lacked flavor and it was dry. The service was a bit slow, even though it was almost empty. The only reason I am giving it a 1 is because the complimentary bread and the cocktails were delicious. For the pricing we all expected better quality food. Very disappointed!

Beautiful spot, relaxed but upscale environment. The staff is 10/10 everyone was super caring and attentive. and the food was the best part, I had the biggest gourmet tater tots i've ever seen, the sliders are amazing, NY Steak also stuck out to me 10/10. Lastly the dessert was delicious and an enjoyable presentation. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The ambiance in this place was perfect for brunch with my friend. The braised beef was AMAZING! Happy hour was delicious and worth it and drinks were amazing. The bartender mixed the drinks to perfection with such balance and our server Sam was so helpful and attentive to all our needs and questions. Good vibes all around, awesome staff. 5-star service from Sarina! I took my wife to STK for a date night, and Sarina's exceptional service truly made the experience great. While great food and drinks are important, it's outstanding service like Sarina's that elevates the experience. She went above and beyond, and we're already looking forward to returning thanks to her! Many fine dining places in Los Angeles do not have great service, so I'm lucky to have had this experience at STK. The ambiance here is awesome. My wife and I were in date night but needed to talk about something important. So it's loud enough to distract people from your private conversations and quiet enough to hear the person next to you.. great place! Meeting, dates, friend catch ups... I recommend all.

I had high hopes for your restaurant last night, but my experience was far from satisfactory. After my original reservation at another restaurant fell through, I was relieved to find that yours was still open for another two hours. I called and was pleased to secure a reservation on short notice. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We started with a dozen oysters, which were delightful, but the drinks we ordered were a letdown. I had a Passionfruit Martini, and my partner had an Old Fashioned--both were poorly executed and unpleasant, though we drank them out of politeness. Thankfully, the waiter kindly suggested alternative drinks, which were excellent and somewhat salvaged the evening. However, the real disappointment came with the 18oz NY Strip steak. At $100, I expected a flavorful, well-seasoned steak, but what we received was bland, unseasoned, bland, and underwhelming. We ordered it cooked medium and it came almost well done. It was an extremely disappointing dish, especially from a restaurant with a name like "STK." Frankly, I could get a better steak at a budget chain like Sizzler. On a brighter note, the Truffle Tagliatelle and Brussels Sprouts were highlights of the meal and deserving of praise. Yet, they couldn't offset the letdown of the steak. Overall, my visit was a mixed bag of highs and lows, but the mediocre steak was a major disappointment and overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable evening. Despite the waiter's excellent dessert suggestions, the $500 we spent felt like a waste. Unfortunately, this experience ruined my birthday and has deterred me from ever returning.

This is by far one of my favorite steakhouses in Los Angeles. My partner and I try to come here at least once a month. We also really enjoy the happy hour. The ambience is amazing. The outside is so beautiful.

Everything was so good! We had the NY strip steak & the surf & turf with the prawns. For our appetizer we had the calamari & that was soooo good. The seasonings they put on the calamari & dipping sauce they provided with the dish were phenomenal. Service was also great & they even gave us a complimentary ice cream to celebrate my bf's birthday

Absolutely one of my favorite steakhouses in Los Angeles. Everything was there, the service, food, and ambiance. The food quality is soooo good, and you can tell the chefs are well trained in perfectly cooking the steaks. The restaurant was also very nice, giving a moody, date night vibe.

My future is looking pretty bright because I celebrated my birthday at STK! What an amazing experience, great food and exemplary service. Came for a friend's bday dinner, the staff was so welcoming. We got on the house shots and an on the house bday drink. Jorge G. was so attentive with and super friendly. Food was 10/10.

Steak, Shrimp, lobster, pasta, potatoes just to name a few things all of which was well prepared and absolutely delicious the servers were very attentive and accommodating during our visit. There is a shift to the music as the evening progressed it was definitely a vibe I enjoyed.

Came here for a little girls night dinner - our server was Ivana and she was SOOOO fun. She made a bunch of great recommendation and I got both the tequila cocktails she said were good (they were awesome) -- the food was delicious- we got ceasar salad - truffle fries -NY strip - Brussels sprouts - and dessert- I can't wait to come back - also the Halloween decorations are a fun touch - Manager came to check on us which I loved - and the other servers checked on us too great dinner we will be back !!

From the moment me and my honey walked in, the welcome was great. Our waitress was Maral and she was really really awesome! Her recommendation on the drinks and food were just SPOT ON. It was our first time so the first time experience was really good. Definitely going again for the steak and making sure I have Maral as my waiter again'
