Google
Burgers are exceptional. Wasn't overly impressed with the duck fat fries. Was expecting more. They just tasted like fries. The Mac and cheese was excellent. Creamy with a bold cheese flavor. Over all an excellent dinner. The bourbon selection is absolutely insane for a burger bar.

Google
Burgers are amazing!! We showed up early so no one was there. The server was all ours. I can only assume they normally do very well with their customer service. Fried Pickles- was so good Wings- great flavor- but there were some wings that were cold. Onion rings- so good Fries- basic The classic bacon- 🥓 juicy and delicious The Big nasty- HUGE - a little dried! Overcooked! Made medium well, but it was still good!

Google
My friend Tommy took me here for lunch before we moved his storage units to his new home. The burger was a real patty and was amazing. I eat burgers all over the world, and this was one of the best. The fries were ok. I must have got half from the bottom of the pan. Half of them were dry and extra salty, but some of them were great. I would definitely go back. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was awesome!

Google
Pimento cheese app was the best. We ordered four different burgers and were pleased at the flavor options! Great atmosphere but service could use a lil help. Had to ask for condiments and water multiple times with a very slow restaurant. We’ll definitely be back to try other options! Food was great 😊

We stopped here today while touring The Gulch area and we were so impressed with the service and food here. Our server was such a gem! She had a very unique name, that I can’t remember. Anyway, she was so great! She suggested some local places to spend time while in Nashville. She did a fabulous job of checking on us and refilling our drinks. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers with fries and onion rings. Everything was so incredibly yummy. We didn’t want to stop eating but the portions were huge! The burger was superior to most we’ve ever had. I can’t even tell you!!! Just go try it! Awesome onion rings! The fries were good too, but the onion rings were better!

Google
Best veggie burger around!!! I was shocked at how much I loved the black bean & quinoa burger. It was delicious!! Chicken sandwich was really good. Fries are the go to over the onion rings. We received an order of half fries & half onion rings & we only had two onion rings. So just go for the fries, they’re good. Drinks are strong & worth the money. Nice atmosphere. Staff was really attentive. Definitely recommend this place!

Google
Service was good but the food was not great. We didn’t even finish it all. The duck fat fries were soggy and cold, so had obviously been sitting there. I’ve cooked a lot of potatoes with duck fat, and I’d guess these were cooked with an oil blend that included duck fat, but wasn’t pure duck fat. The pimento cheese dip tasted strangely sweet, which was off putting. The chicken wings were over cooked. The cucumber salad was good.

Google
Holy smokes. There is something to be said about a place that focuses on one thing and knocks it out of the park. Even the Kids burger was cooked to perfection. Black and blue burger one of the best I have ever had. I subbed bourbon onions for the fried onions. Definitely recommend. My wife had the Elvis. She loved it. Our waitress recommended blackberry jelly, great suggestions. The Greek Burger looked amazing, has lamb meat. Even the chicken tenders were good. Fried Pickles were incredible as well. They are frankly great with no dip but ask for extra ranch because it makes great even greater. Also excellent on the fries. One of the best meals we had our entire trip. If come back to Knoxville I will definitely come back.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service is so quick. The workers are so nice. Very local, very cool, love the walls and decor. Very nice and kid friendly and clean as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
All of our most recent visits have been absolutely great. Good food, good service, good drinks, good music. We like to start by splitting the wedge, which we ALWAYS order with NO balsamic. Their blue cheese dressing is seriously amazing stuff. It is so, SO good. Drool. The balsamic glaze is completely unnecessary and only detracts from the deliciousness of that dressing. Just skip it. Trust me. Best burger in Tennessee. Fantastic onion rings. We never, ever bother with the fries anymore because they are not anywhere near crisp enough, and the o-rings are so vastly superior anyway. Truly. Hahaha. Great selection of local beers in addition to all those awesome bourbons and whiskies. My only real complaints are (1) it can be a bit too loud in there some nights, and (2) parking in The Gulch just blows on the best of days. Which is clearly not their fault, but hey... it's freaking annoying. Sometimes we opt to eat somewhere else because of the soul-withering prospect of parking. (Same goes for the stellar Peg Leg Porker next door. Yum!) So do with that what you will.

Yelp
Excellent place for a burger and good cocktails! Fair prices and a solid happy hour as well. This is a pretty neat restaurant in the gulch tucked away but you don't want to miss. The food is consistently delicious and the cocktails are perfection. We came here during happy hour which is one of the best in Nashville in my opinion. We ordered the Opa! feta and honey drizzle with pita, which was so delicious, and on special for happy hour. We also ordered a black and blue burger and the hurt locker burger. The portion sizes are generous and the flavors are hard to beat. The fries are really good and the onion rings are pretty good as well. We also ordered old fashioneds during happy hour and they were super good, definitely worth coming for just a drink. The service was on point as well, as usual. Make sure to put this on your list for burgers and bourbon! The happy hour is from 2-6pm Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (they're closed Tuesdays/Wednesdays). It features $8 cocktails, $2 off local beer, 1/2 off bottles of wine, and 1/2 price select appetizers (about half of them). Don't miss it!

Yelp
The place is small and pretty! It has a very chill vibe, though it might be different during the weekend. We went for lunch before catching our flight back home, and it was perfect because we were seated right away at one of the tables - there weren't many people. The food was great. I wouldn't say it's something amazing that you can't leave Nashville without trying, but it was perfect for us since we had to catch a flight just after lunch. They have a few murals just outside.

Yelp
We crashed their soft opening several years ago looking for a place to get out of the cold over Veteran's Day weekend. The young hostess told us it was for friends and family only. As we were about to leave the owner/chef invited us in. They served us samples of their food, and all we paid for was drinks. We laughed and chatted with all the friends and family and had an incredible time. There was no Yelp review to leave at the time since they weren't officially in business yet. My wife and I were reminiscing about it, and I decided to FINALLY leave a review.

Yelp
Stock and Barrel was a staple in our night out rotation when we lived in Knoxville (original location). Ever since we moved, we have not found a burger spot that met the bar set by S&B. My go tos are: the Farmhouse, the Elvis, the Shrooming, and the Hurt Locker. Don't forget the duck fries. We got the hummus trio to share and I got the Shrooming burger. They were out of the tzatziki feta hummus, so we got the choice of doubling up on the red pepper or black bean hummus. While the burger was overall enjoyable, it did not meet the Knoxville experience. The buns were a bit dry and the patty was medium well/well done when I requested medium. Staff was super friendly.

Yelp
Walk right in and ordered some half priced appetizers and drinks. Our group ordered fried pickles, opa!, queso dip, crispy shrooms, duck fat fries, and fried green tomatoes. Nothing was left on the plates. Our server, Jason was very nice and attentive. Plenty of drinks were ordered... Old Fashioned, Darryl Strawberry, The Chivo, Violet, You're Turning Violet, and Purple Rain. Street parking is right outside the restaurant. It's a bar so music playing and tvs on.

Yelp
Ah. Stock & Barrel, when this place popped up on my search for places to eat we definitely had to come here. We've craved their burgers ever since we left Knoxville and to know they had one in Nashville we definitely had to check it out. To be honest, the S&B in Nashville isn't as good as Knoxville. I think it's the buns? The Duck Confit fries though... Ugh that's one thing I missed about S&B. The sauce, the fries how it's super crunchy. So good. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of their burgers. My favorites are the farm house and the Hurt Locker. I also like the bison burger as well. We ordered a couple of appetizers. To be honest though, if you had only one choice to get as far as appetizers, the duck fries has to be it. Service wise, our visit was fine. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Staff was very friendly as well. Overall, if you haven't had Stock & Barrel, I would highly recommend it. It's one place that I miss when I lived in Knoxville and to go down memory lane in Nashville was amazing.

Yelp
Great burger, fries and my favorite onion rings! A good place to get your burger fix in Nashville. The parking isn't bad at all on week night.

Yelp
Really cute ambiance, good service, but the food just was a complete miss because it doesn't have flavor. Pecan pie- wayyyy too caramel-y. Needs more pecans. I love all dessert so it's hard for me to say it was barely a 2/10. Onion rings- wayyy too thick of onions. I get if you want to have a large ring but then you need to cook them longer and flavor them. It tasted like you took a whole onion and dumped it in plain batter. 1/10 Burger- it was the one with bacon & egg, semi decent but the meat was unflavored. Hardly any aioli sauce. Needs pickles & less bread. If it wasn't for the team I'd say 0/10. But for the $100 plus price for two I was disappointed. $24 for a double well vodka lol.

Yelp
The bartender was great and makes killer old fashioned. The appetizer hummus plate was amazing.
google avatar

JaMillah R.

Yelp
Service was great! Food was good! Only addition would be gluten-free options. The drinks were pretty and good. We went for happy hour so the price was nice too.

Yelp
It was a sweltering summer day, got here shortly after they opened for lunch. We were seated quickly at the bar it has a cool bourbon bar atmosphere. My mate had the Purple Rain which is delightful & refreshing. I ordered off the summer menu & had the Root Awakening. One of the best bourbon mixed drinks I've had. The "root" wasn't overpowering. We were only looking for a snack so we tried the Opa! Which is pan fried feta cheese with honey drizzled. It was fantastic. If you go here and don't order it you have failed!

Yelp
Burgers are excellent, cocktails really good and happy hour is one of the best and cheapest around the Gulch (most appetizers are half price and the portions are regular). The bar is really nice and overall we loved it, will surely go back soon!! Highly recommended!
google avatar

Lara R.

Yelp
The food here was incredible! I wasn't expecting to like the Honey Feta appetiser as much as I did, but it's an absolute must-try! The burgers were AMAZING! The turkey burger was juicy and flavorful-- not dry at all! Usually, the alternative burgers are an afterthought, but we even enjoyed the veggie patty. The original beef burger was phenomenal as well. We ordered the duck fat fries, which were tasty, but just so-so as they were soggy. Everything else, though, was delicious! We'll be back to try their shakes and other appetisers.
google avatar

Steve C.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST bourbon bar in Nashville and the craft burgers are worth coming back for. If you're in the gulch and need a chill solid lunch/dinner spot this is it. Best service in Nashville as well!!!!
google avatar

Sara O.

Yelp
Service was great. Food was not. The duck fat fries were the best by far. The spicy crab dip was good but the pita chips were over dressed, so the texture was gross bc it felt dusty, I know that's a weird explanation but you could feel the seasoning instead of just tasting it. Plain version of the same chip would have been great. Max and cheese wasn't very warm and didn't really taste like anything in particular. Chicken tenders were kinda burnt, nice on the inside. I'm kicking myself for not getting a burger.
google avatar

Tyler D.

Yelp
French Fries were hands down the greatest French fry you will ever consume. Speedy service and great food to pair along with it, THIS is the place to be if you want great food without the tourist trap that sometimes comes along with Nashville.
google avatar

Kenna G.

Yelp
Realllllly good onion rings (thick and amazing). The waffle was average, and the chicken was a little thick which is definitely not some people's favorite. Ambiance and service was great!
google avatar

Pratiksha M.

Yelp
This place is great! They have great fried chicken sandwiches and burgers. The fried chicken for the salad isn't as tender as the sandwiches. The Bernie with the blueberry preserve was fantastic! Also, the service is awesome and Sophie is the best!
google avatar

Joy D.

Yelp
We started with the crispy 'shrooms and fried green tomatoes and shared the Free Bird burger. I got the gin Nay, which has a cute name and it is sweet but it's also VERY spicy! Service was okay. If you love heavily deep fried, greasy food, this is the place for you!
google avatar

Gracey M.

Yelp
I love this place. The vibe is pretty casual and the food is consistently stellar. Every burger i have had there meets every expectation i could ask for and the sides also compare.
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
This was a hidden gem! To start we had the "Only ten I see" flight of whiskey - not impressed! The Fugitives was the best BUT the horrible end was Corsair Dark Rye - PLEASE oh please take it off this flight!!!!!!!!! We had the fried 'shrooms and wow! Then the wedge salad which was incredible! The Bernie Burger was big enough to share and the fries were great! Did I say that our server Hannah was great? Thanks Hannah. BTW take the Corsair Dark off the flight. Please.

Tom C.

Yelp
Came down before running over to CMA Fest. Got the Bison Burger & the flavors were awesome. So many different flavors with the Boursin, Mushrooms & onion straws were great. Fries were those fresh cut/soggy style but still good. Onion Rings were the hit! Good service & cool decor. Tons of bourbon if you are a Bourbon type of person.

Steve G.

Yelp
Very attentive and competent wait staff. Food was excellent, well prepared and came out timely. Also nice atmosphere and bar.
google avatar

Mary Beth F.

Yelp
This was one of the best burgers I ever had! I got the steakhouse and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bun how do I describe.. it was so light, I don't like a bun that takes away from the star of the show which is the burger itself. This bun did just that, it allowed the burger to be the center of attention. 10/10 recommend the steakhouse burger!
google avatar

Thembi S.

Yelp
I stopped by this establishment for about an hour before a golf cart tour of Nashville. Since I wasn't hungry, I settled for drinking some beers while I waited. The beer was ok and the bartenders were nice and attentive. The place itself was dark and moody in a good way, and the bathrooms were clean. I would like to visit again and actually eat, then I could maybe bump my review to 5 stars.
google avatar

Jackee O.

Yelp
Endless options of bourbon and a hearty burger. The burger was good but my bottom bun was completely soggy. I think the onion rings could have been crispier too.
google avatar

Casey D.

Yelp
Service was amazing. This was my second visit this year. Fantastic venue with plenty of space for any size group. I lost count of how many choices of burgers and couldn't count high enough for the selections of Bourbon. A pretty cool date night spot in the Gulch.
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Service was good and prompt. Ordered a Turkey burger and the wings. Wings were chargrilled and they were pretty good. Turkey burger was all white meat and came with very hot fries. Prices reasonable. Pretty loud inside the restaurant.

Terry A.

Yelp
Delicious food, great service. Special thanks to Elijah for serving our hour just 15 minutes before close. And thanks to the kitchen who cooked such great food when I am sure they wanted to go home
google avatar

Whitney L.

Yelp
Stock and Barrel was decent. We came here on a Saturday for dinner and was able to get a table for two right away. Service was solid and friendly. Food--we ordered burgers and beers. Solid food (not the best I've had in Nashville), but what you would expect for a standard pub burger. Drinks--loved my old-fashioned. Very tasty and highlight of the meal.
google avatar

Felipe A.

Yelp
First things first this is definitely a 5 STAR PLACE. Our server, Lindsey, was fantastic! Great service and the food was delicious. Would come back here in a heartbeat!!
google avatar

Eb M.

Yelp
Drinks here are FANTASTIC! Bridgett made us her special, the Watermelon Boom Boom. One mild and one spicy. The spicy was *chefs kiss* Food was good but the drinks were even better! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Papa G.

Yelp
The fries here are really great, if you like them salty. Not bagging on the fries, but they are really salty. Ordered the wings and they were so-so. You could tell they had previously been frozen as they were a little tough. A good wing should pull better when they are made fresh. The burger was pretty good, but not the best in town. The place is great for tourists.
google avatar

NoOneUkNow N.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal!! Service was outstanding, the bourbon/whiskey flights are fantastic and geeeee golly their wings!! Hands down the best wings I have ever had!! A+ establishment
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
Venue & ambience were on point. However, what we came here for was the food. The food... where do we begin... let's go with awful! They didn't have the OPA! appetizer "out of pita bread". Then my husband went to order the bison burger "sorry were out of that too". I ordered the mother clucker (grilled) and it was very basic. Bad part about it was the chicken only covered half the bread (bread wasn't big basic bun size) I also upgraded my fries to the duck fat rendered fries. I guess they didn't want to say "we are out of that too" so they threw a bunch of chives on regular fries & tried to pass them along as the duck rendered ones. Might've got away with that one except my daughter ordered regular ones that tasted EXACTLY the same. The waitress did agree that they didn't look like the duck rendered ones. My daughter ordered the 'Mercia burger & she said it was super bland. Husband got the black & blue burger & it was supposed to have bacon. A half of slice of bacon on a burger is not acceptable. The star of the show was the fried pickles. Save your money & go to McDonald's if you want a burger cause this place doesn't cut it. Side note: Our waitress was friendly & attentive Manager: Champion of RBF. Lazy & stood awkwardly behind the bar. She should be back in the kitchen making sure the food is correct & up to standards.
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
The is the best hamburger stop in Nashville. Ask for the half fries, half onion rings when you order if you like a lot of both. The manager and staff are awesome people and the bar is full stocked. A real gem here!!
google avatar

Desiree P.

Yelp
The food was fantastic! There is a great atmosphere and my husband loved the #ballerstatus flight he had.

Jerry D.

Yelp
Lindsey was the best waitress She was very attentive to our needs and did a great job

John D.

Yelp
food items were exceptional. Flavors were unique and tasty. The fries were great, just a good wholesome foodie experience. try thr pizza's as well you will not go wrong on with the selection
google avatar

Dyane B.

Yelp
By far the best burger I have ever had! I ordered The Billy and it was amazing! Get the onion rings too!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Get the Billy!!! Burger with goat cheese + tomato jam + caramelized onions + bacon Additionally, the garlic aioli is *chef's kiss*
google avatar

Victor R.

Yelp
Great food and friendly staff. We're visiting from Raleigh and will definitely return! Cool atmosphere and love the concrete bar. Was walking distance from our hotel!
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
I headed over to Stock & Barrell on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant is located in the lesser frequented part of the Gulch so parking was fairly easy, with plenty of spots open on the street. The restaurant has a good vibe and the service was top notch. I ordered the farm house burger with fries. First, the fries were solid, obviously homemade. It was probably my favorite fry in awhile. The burger itself was decent. The egg on top was just right, and the meat was tasty. The bun wasn't my favorite, I would have preferred a softer bun and the bottom was a little too crisp for my taste. A softer bacon and a stronger cheese would have also been a great match. Overall though if you are looking for a decent burger and fries I would suggest giving Stock & Barrell a try!
google avatar

Pasqual R.

Yelp
We came in at about noontime and it was kinda empty and we unsure how the food would be. But, to our surprise the food was awesome and the service was just as good. I had the classic bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the A1 burger and both were very delicious and more than enough to satisfy us. We started with the fried pickles and that was just enough to fill us up, so come here hungry and ready to eat. The atmosphere is cozy and I wish we would have come later in the day to enjoy the live music. I don't remember our waiters name but he was polite and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to experience a true piece of Nashville.
google avatar

Meagan A.

Yelp
We had heard about this restaurant when we were in Knoxville last, and decided to give the Nashville location a try. We weren't disappointed! Our food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Our appetizer and milkshakes came out quickly- my husband didn't care to wait for dessert We all enjoyed our meals and my stepson actually ate his whole meal. Mother Clucker Sandwich

Rob B.

Yelp
Most excellent burgers. For the first time in my life I tried deep fried pickles and was surprised that I like them so much. Recommended by multiple locals, which is a Must Go To place. The mac-n-cheese, and slaw sides are all A+. This is truly one of the best examples of good down home cooking. When in Nashville, this is a great place to go. Oh... service was rockin great also.
