Stock Exchange Hotel, Manchester, Autograph Collection

This must be Manchester’s best hotel. The design of the hotel, particularly the public areas, is stunning. The rooms are also done to a good standard. The service salad fantastic from the moment we arrived. We were given a friendly welcome and taken to the lounge for a complimentary glass of champagne while check-in was sorted. We arrived very early but were able to check-in straight away. The room was comfortable and not too loud despite the very central location. Breakfast was also a highlight. We will definitely stay at the Stock Exchange again when staying in Manchester.

Excellent location, friendly staff and very spacious suites. However, a bit more expensive than a comparable hotel in London. Also, the dine-in options are limited, but the options available are simply DELICIOUS. Suggest for hotel management to reconsider their cuisine offering..

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew our stay was going to be fabulous. We were met by Deepak on the concierge desk and escorted into the lounge where we had a glass of champagne waiting for the check in team to come and see us. On check in we were taken to our room where our luggage had already been taken to our room for us. The room was larger than I expected and fitted out with high quality furniture. The bathroom had excellent amenities. The bed was so comfy and for someone that doesn’t sleep well, I had a perfect nights sleep. The breakfast was cooked to order and arrived piping hot. It was delicious. |The hotel is beautiful but the staff here make it fabulous. My only complaint was that we didn’t stay for more than 1 night. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough

The staff without exception were wonderful, can not fault them. The building is beautiful and nicely renovated. Restaurant is gorgeous, not your average room. The bar downstairs is excellent, service, cocktails and pianist.  Few minor niggles , but at this price there shouldn’t be,  Loo nr reception could do with dirty mastic replacing. Bathrobes should not have stains on them or be kept uncovered under a sink next to the toilet.  Lounge chair arms need a clean.  Minor but at 400+ a night it matters.  Shame no outside Christmas decoration   The staff are what makes this hotel. ,

After the check in, I took the lift, walked thru nice corridors, and that’s all I could appreciate the hotel. |I didn’t expect a lot of social space but the Sterling bar was closed. The little Resident Lounge is hardly a place you can enjoy. Not to mention a lack of gym. |Still, the bathroom is above average. ||Also, after nearly two weeks, my stay is not added to my Bonvoy points. The efficiency is below expectations.

Step inside to a world where there are smiles and an attentive service team, nothing is too much trouble! The location is so good. Waze guides you through the net work of 20mph zones through the narrow streets to the doors of this opulent and recently renovated building. You do pull up on double yellows but the service team are on it as soon as you arrive. If travelling by car book parking in advance. Our welcome was perfect. Service team were efficient and very friendly. First class ! Rooms are very clean and well looked after. Jo Malone toiletries on hand. Beds are on the firm side like wise pillows but very comfortable. A pillow menu would be a nice addition. Breakfast was really good and the menu offered delicious alternatives to the standard British menu. Well done Chef! The decor and dining environment is breathtaking! The hotel entrance is only a few minutes walk from the main shopping areas. Its location is unbelievable good and the alternatives just do not offer anything close as a comparison. This was our first real trip to Manchester but we will have to think of more reasons to visit to enable us to enjoy another stay. Well done to all involved.

Right now at this time of writing were in the Savoy, all be it exceptional..... its not quite the stock exchange! This place is probably the best place we have ever stayed.... and we stay everywhere! This hotel is fantastic! Room is very well equipped, clean, spacious and the location is great, staff are very helpful.||We arrived at 9 A.M from an 8.5 hour flight, requested an early check in and our room was ready. That is service that you do not expect at many hotel chains. They responded through the app, not some Marriott call center in god knows where!||I will stay here again for work, vacation or just an overnight stay in Manchester! Way to Go Marriott and the Staff of the Stock exchange hotel! Well done chaps!
