What a perfect hotel.||We stayed one night in June 2025.||Everything was superb.||Check-in was lovely--a seat in a lounge, a glass of bubbles, and an attentive, welcoming staff member.||A concierge showed us to our room, delivering our bags, and went through the room's features. He was extraordinary, and he had great recommendations for Manchester, too.||The room was gorgeous--large, high ceilings, beautifully designed furnishings, thoughtful details, plenty of outlets, great lighting, high water pressure in the bathroom, a well-stocked minibar. And an extremely comfortable bed--we slept perfectly.||Each room is different due to the hotel's historic character. That is really neat. ||The lobby is small and pretty, with gorgeous fixtures. We had breakfast in the restaurant, which is in the old trading floor--a beautiful space. The breakfast menu was a nice mix of traditional offerings and some more interesting offerings. Service was exceptional and the food was good.||The location proved extremely convenient for exploring parts of Manchester.||I cannot think of a single complaint--from location to room to food to staff, this hotel set a standard to which I wish all hotels aspired.

The Stock Exchange Hotel is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Manchester. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was flawless. The building itself is stunning—full of history, character, and beautifully restored details that make it feel truly special.||The service was exceptional throughout. Every member of staff was warm, professional, and genuinely keen to make our stay memorable. You can tell that guest experience is their top priority.||Our room was immaculate—luxurious yet comfortable, with high ceilings, elegant decor, and all the thoughtful touches you’d expect from a five-star property. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a private spa.||The location is also unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, but still quiet and peaceful inside. We loved being just a short walk from Manchester’s best shopping, dining, and cultural spots.||This hotel sets a new standard for luxury in the city. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. If you’re visiting Manchester, do yourself a favour and book the Stock Exchange. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful old building. Rooms extremely tastfully done. Decor some of the best I've seen in any hotel. Walkable to anything in central Manchester. Room service was tasty although a bit limited especially if tou have dietary issues. The room would have benefited from a hotel guide or similar to work out information such as check out time. ||Staff all very nice. The lady at breakfast remembered my order from the previous day. Speaking of breakfast its not a buffet but a large carte. This is unusual but a welcome change and the quality is good.||Checking in seated in a lounge whilst sipping a gratis champagne 🍾 was a nice touch.||Limited recognition of Bobvoy Gold status (eg i was asked if i was a member - they should know in advance).

Visited this afternoon with friends for a champagne Afternoon Tea. It was an amazing experience; beautiful building, gorgeous dining room and absolutely delicious food. We have enjoyed afternoon tea at several venues in Manchester and this was one of the best. Special thanks to our wonderful waitress, Daria, who was so friendly and clearly loves her job. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Fantastic stay at The Stock Exchange hotel which is centrally located. Beautiful building (there is so much to look at) and the bedroom had all the amenities you could need. Very comfortable bed with quality bed linen. First class staff made us very welcome. They were both professional and genuinely friendly. Special thanks to the gentlemen at concierge and the Polish lady who served us at breakfast. My only regret is that our stay was not longer - we will be back! Thank you all from Jane and Allan.

We stayed at the Stock Exchange earlier this year and were initially impressed by the high standard set by the concierge and check-in team. While the rooms were a little small, they were perfectly acceptable given the central location. We didn’t dine in the restaurant but enjoyed a lovely experience at the late-night bar, which had a great atmosphere and felt very much our kind of place.||Upon checkout, however, things took an unfortunate turn. We were in a rush due to another appointment and expected a quick process—as is typical at most hotels. However, there was an issue refunding the deposit because it had originally been paid contactless. Despite this being an unusual hiccup in 2025, I agreed to an alternative method, provided my card details, and was assured the refund would be processed, even if it took a little time.||Unfortunately, nothing came through. I understand that mistakes happen, so I reached out via all the public email addresses listed on the website but received no response. I then contacted the General Manager, Tracy Harrison, directly in hopes of resolving things quietly. Despite receiving a delivery receipt, I never got a reply.||With no other option, I had to initiate a chargeback for the full deposit amount, including what we’d already spent during our stay. Since we never heard back, we ended up putting the unreturned funds towards a few celebratory bubbles in honour of Liverpool FC’s 20th league title. Nice one Gary x

It started really good and only got better and better. Service was perfection. Building is amazing and brilliant room. Lovely. Checked in with glass of champagne. And really nice champagne at that. One of best breakfasts I ever had.|I know it's expensive (we managed to book with points) but I would say it's worth every penny. Was in sheraton in Charles de gaulle airport recently. Similar price. Not even playing the same sport as stock exchange. |Only down side. Might have ruined every hotel experience not at it going forward.

Beautiful hotel with a great location and outstanding attention to detail in all areas. |From the champagne on arrival in the cosy lounge and the friendly and welcoming reception staff, beautifully appointed room, which was spacious, immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything you could need. |The restaurant is stunning, room service delicious and prompt, the bar has a really good vibe, everything was wonderful.|Our stay was made even better by the concierge Nigel, he gave us recommendations for places to go that suited us perfectly.|Without Nigel’s perseverance to get us a set of crutches on a Sunday afternoon, we wouldn’t have been able to leave the hotel, he was the epitome of the perfect concierge and I can’t praise him highly enough!|Fantastic place with amazing staff. I highly recommend!
