An unbelievably disappointing experience. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and hostile from the second we walked in. We expected a small intimate setting, but didn’t expect to be seated with another group at a disgusting dirty table, especially when other tables were completely open. After informing the servers that we’d never been there, they failed to provide any recommendations or assistance with their extremely limited and obscure menu. We ordered bread, bone marrow, and squid. The bread was $8 and ice cold. The squid was so tough it was impossible to cut or chew. The bone marrow was a tasteless oily mess. The head waiter didn’t ask us how the food was or check on us once. He was likely drunk as I saw him take a shot from a bottle under the counter. When the waitress took our plates she asked if the squid was too tough. We agreed that it was, and she took it off the bill. We didn’t complain, we just agreed with what she already knew about the squid. To top it all off, on our way out of the restaurant, the head waiter cursed at us. We didn’t complain at all, we left a generous tip, and we were in and out within 40 minutes. One of the worst restaurant experienced I’ve had. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere, service, AND food are all horrendous. Left hungry, and went to a pub down the street. Avoid this place at all costs, waste of time and money.
