Stockhorn Arena

We had a blast watching the Spain vs Belgium game for the Women's Euro 2025. The stadium isn't too small or too big so it's not overwhelming. There was a toilet very near our seats, and the food from the snack stands were delicious. The free shuttle to and from this Arena was convenient. There is a partial roof so we were not too wet even if it was raining cats and dogs. My husband who forgot his raincoat was given a free biodegradable rain coat. I thought the free period product and QR for help was a nice touch. I removed one star because SMOKING WAS ALLOWED at the concourse. Even though I brought a mask and my asthma medication, I still got really sick afterwards because I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and I have asthma. I hope they improve this because it's UNHEALTHY FOR KIDS & PEOPLE WITH RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS. It was so unpleasant to go to the toilets and buy food because of the many smokers.

Cute little stadium. Has one of the best backdrops for a stadium with the Swiss Alps towering behind the ultras section. They should definitely change the grass from artificial to real grass or at least an hybrid.

As for FC Thun, found the ground a little soulless. Ok their ultras did give it a good go, but its one of those stadiums on the edge of town near no bars or pubs and that is such an effort to get to that its a pain. It was really tough to get to, the bus was direct but little info on where to get it from the bus station, so I ended up with the Sion fans on their bus to the ground. Also was a bit annoyed that a plastic bottle of water was taking off me as I entered the ground. FFS, that’s a first for me, water, and me having brought a six pack into Wembley before, lol! Silly. Also frustrating was that the club shop was closed, yes closed, as I went round to have a look. I always like to buy a scarf or memento of my day at the club, but no chance here. What the hell FC Thun!! The only redeeming feature, apart from the ultras who were decent and created some good atmosphere, was that the team were generally enjoyable to watch (at least for me anyway). Anyway onto the next ground-hop in Switzerland.

Small stadium but had a good time watching FC Lugano-Fenerbahce SK

Plenty of parking spots, staff is pleasant and helpfull. I really enjoyed the game FC Thun against FC Basel. Would come always again if possible.

Worst organised concert I've ever visited. The lines for everything were a complete joke. Especially the food and drink lines. Every drink you bought came in a cup with a 2 CHF depot, yet there was no specific place to return them, you had to stand in line again with all the people wanting to buy food or drink just to get the depot back, complete joke. I assume this is done so that people give up and the organisers keep the depot money. The only toilets available were ToiTois, this is fine, but the problem was that there was nothing to clean your hands, no disinfectant, no wet wipes, nothing. Hygienically unacceptable, and frankly, disgusting. They were probably afraid that if there was running water people would drink from the tap to avoid the ludicrous drink prices. Shuttle buses were also extremely slow, for what was a fairly small stadium concert. From what I've heard the parking was terrible and extortionate. At the end of the day this review doesn't matter, if your favorite band is playing here you'll go, no matter what. Just lower your expectations.
