🌟 “An Unforgettable Dining Experience – Perfect for Special Occasions!” 🌟 We visited this place yesterday, 5th December, to celebrate my wife’s birthday along with our daughter. It was a dark evening, and we had a slight challenge finding the car park, but once we stepped inside, everything was perfect! From the moment we entered, the staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and attentive. They guided us to our table and even offered a choice of water (I opted for tap water). The food was absolutely excellent—full of flavor and beautifully presented. I’ve shared some photos of our dishes and the menu for reference. The atmosphere was fantastic—calm, cozy, and ideal for a special occasion. The toilet facilities were spotless and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we’re already planning to visit again later this month if possible. I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed! As a foodie, I can confidently say this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

I think this is my favourite place in Norwich. Food is simply amazing. Menu very very good. Atmosphere just right. Staff are attentive and professional. Lovely bar area for a drink before you have dinner. The canapes and warm bread rolls are a treat in themselves! I was blown away and cant wait for our next visit! Thank you. I had the Salt Cod Scotch Egg, Breaded Cod then finished off with an amazing Raspberry Soufflé Soooo good!

We visited for my Wife's birthday and had the 50 year celebration tasting menu with wine flight. It was outstanding! The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and had a lovely atmosphere. We both agreed this was the best tasting menu experience we have had. There were so many special touches from the flambé at the table to the final light bite with our coffee. We were served by the owners son, Rio, who was very attentive and knowledgeable and you could really feel the family touch throughout. We will definitely be back! Thoroughly recommended

Amazing roast with starters and delicious baked breads. We sat outside and had a nice view of the lake. The staff were really good and so was the local wine. I'll defo return if back in the area!

We went for my husband’s birthday lunch and had a great meal. Also we must commend on all staff, who were very nice, professional and friendly. I am vegan and GF and everyone went out of the way to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I had tofu to start with and saffron risotto for main followed by something amazing and fluffy for dessert. My husband had chicken liver pate, sea bass and cream brûlée. Everything we can recommend 100%, all beautiful! We can’t recommend this place enough, very uplifting experience! Well done all team!

Excellent celebration lunch. Peaceful setting, modern without being stuffy, service very welcoming. Food was very good, a broad range of choices with excellent depth of flavours and textures carefully combined for a delicious meal. Beef beautifully cooked, and vegetables aldente, so full of flavour. Thank you to the team for a memorable visit. We will be returning soon!.

We went as a family, the service was welcoming and not overbearing. The food was beautifully presented and tasted lovely.

Took my mum for her birthday. She had never done a taster menu, and has always been skeptical over the idea. I'm a big fan of taster menus but had never been to the Stoke Mill. I am pleased to say we both had a fantastic time, and the food was superb.
