This was a very cute bar but pretty small so it’s a hit or miss if you come on a busy night (normally Fridays or Saturdays). I got the plum punch and fingerling potatoes, also shared with my friend a squash on toast. The potatoes were so good, like really good because they make a very delicious sauce that gives a so refreshing feeling, even though at first glance it was kinda suspicious haha! But definitely try that out! Another thing I love so much about this bar was how they served an autumn theme tea (we’re now in October) aside from ice water, so thoughtful and very nice of them since personally I don’t prefer water. Definitely one of Ottawa’s hidden gem, very nice, kinda private and classy bar!

Don’t miss out on this gem of a cocktail bar right on Sparks! Very cozy high-end atmosphere, exceptional service, and the best and most experimental cocktails in the city of Ottawa. A visit to the capital would not be complete without a stop at Stolen Goods!

This bar is an absolute must if you love cocktails in Ottawa, in fact it is one of the few places worth going for a truly innovative cocktail experience. They use fresh ingredients, create their own syrups, mixes etc and know exactly when to use what type of alcohol. Mike and Adam are extremely hospitable, and they understand how to take customer service to the next level. From a welcome tea to take the edge of winter off, to my water glass never being empty, these two are fantastic. Each cocktail is about $20 but that’s the going rate for an alcohol heavy cocktail these days. And these ones are worth every penny.

🍸 Hidden Gem with Speakeasy Charm 🍸 This cocktail bar is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, the decor sets the mood—dim lighting, vintage touches, and a cozy, intimate layout that gives off serious speakeasy vibes. It’s the kind of place that feels like a secret you’re lucky to know about. The drinks? Delicious. Thoughtfully crafted cocktails with bold flavors and beautiful presentation. Whether you’re into classics or something more adventurous, the menu delivers. We also tried a few appetizers and they were just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. It’s a fantastic spot for a girls’ night out—fun, stylish, and relaxed—but also ideal for a romantic evening. The ambiance strikes that perfect balance between lively and intimate. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that feels special without trying too hard. Will definitely be back.

Google
This is definitely a place you go for creative mixology. There is a good variety of cocktails and alcohol you don't find anywhere else. The cocktails are averaging $20 each. The place is small and cozy as it does not have that much seating, but it's cool to sit at the bar and watch the action. The service seemed a little off, though ... it was difficult to put our finger on it exactly, but we all got a weird vibe from our barman. Love that they feature cartoony raccoons everywhere.

Yelp
Met some local friends at Stolen Goods and wow! I loved every bit of this experience from the super creative drinks to the super cute raccoon theme found throughout! We sat up on the bar so we got a front row seat to all the magic. I was super impressed when the bartenders told us they kind of shoot from the hip for all their drinks in that they don't test it prior! They'll make small adjustments usually for acidity or sweetness but otherwise, you're basically experimenting alongside with them if it's on a recent menu change! My favorite drink of the night was the drink inspired by green curry. First and foremost, I was so confused when it came out clear! But when you took a sniff, you get the fresh scent of basil with some kaffir lime. On first taste, you also pick up some creaminess with the herbaceous notes which really makes it reminiscent of green curry - but it wasn't?! It was confusing, in a good way. My second favorite (of three) was the fruit loops infused drink. It paid homage to childhood Saturday mornings perfectly with the fruit loops whipped topping and the fruity cocktail underneath. It was a fun and lighthearted drink! My third was a drink featuring honeydew. It's such an underrated flavor because it's so hard to find a GOOD honeydew. In similar fashion, this drink also fell a bit short in the floral, sweet honeydew flavor and the cucumber flavor overpowered the drink. Having said that, the cucumber was really refreshing on such a humid day! All in all, loved the concept, loved the experimenting, and really enjoyed the vibes!

Yelp
The bar is quite intimate with just 20 seats and lit up by the impressive wall of spirits. The cocktails are unique, thoughtfully created with a complex mix of interesting ingredients that had us wondering what every drink would taste like. We got the King's ransom, Them's the breaks and Petty Theft. King's ransom came in an adorable pig shaped glass and had a fruity yet very smokey flavour. Them's the breaks was also lovely with some familiar fruity strawberry sweetness and a very interesting Merlot pink salt. Last but not least, Petty Theft was our favourite of the night with familiar SE Asian flavours and the nitrogen meringue experience which you pop in your mouth before sipping the drink. This one was $24 since it's a cocktail with a 72 hour process. This is a great spot if you love trying new drinks. The service is friendly, the music is on point and the overall ambience is perfect for a night out. They also take reservations - I recommend the bar seat.

Yelp
This quaint little bar caught our eye on our first night in Ottawa. They didn't have space, so decided to make a reservation for the next night around 10:30 pm. We had some dinner prior to our reservation, and that was a mistake. I wish I had known about their tasting menu so we could go with an appetite. But we were just in time for their 11pm happy hour, which is pretty fun if you are down for late night oysters! We sat at the bar and had a full view of the chefs working their magic. We had a nice chat with Chef Adam; he answered all my weird questions and took care of us. The amount of thought, curiosity and science behind each cocktail and menu item is refreshing. For a restaurant of this caliber, the prices are incredibly fair. And they are part of the Ontario Living Wage Network. I highly recommend you go and experience it for yourself. Sit at the bar and get the full menu for two, and savour the experience.

Yelp
We were visiting Ottawa for a couple days and stumbled upon Stolen Goods Cocktail Bar. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks and some food. Everything was so good! From the service, to the drinks, and the food!! Highly recommend the burrata! And if you like a dirty martini, you won't be disappointed with their version!

Yelp
The ambiance was fantastic, and was matched by the level of service and quality of the cocktails and oysters. Will return for more!

Yelp
very cute bar!! if you're looking for a more low-key dimly lit small cocktail bar this is the perfect place for you. the drinks were genuinely incredible, and the bartenders were all really kind. the only negative is that there's a two hour seating limit!! which I feel really negatively about, but if you're on your way somewhere else after this might be perfect!

Yelp
We were on our way to rabbit hole when we were walked past this hidden gem. Tucked away on sparks street is stolen goods cocktail bar. Dark, moody and chill, it has some of the most unique cocktails I've ever seen! For example, a three brothers shawarma cocktail which weirdly tastes like essence of shawarma but in the best way possible!! We had the cheesecake for a sweet treat which was a deconstructed version but still exactly what you would want a cheesecake to taste like. I will definitely be going back to try other cool cocktails and food on their menu.

Yelp
A fantastic experience! We were seated at the bar, the best seats as you can see the drinks and food being prepared. Each drink was presented with flourish and style, with careful attention to every detail - including monogrammed straws and ice cubes. The house cocktails are interesting and flavourful and Mike, the mixologist, is also capable of recreating classic drinks of the past. The food was superb, and each dish was presented and explained by Chef Adam. Ordering several dishes to share is certainly the way to go, but you might want the cheesecake all to yourself. The bar itself helps make the evening. A small, intimate space it brings people together and the background music is never so loud as to drown out conversation. The main illumination comes from the wall behind the bar where there are four long shelves loaded with an amazing array of high-end bottles, all shown off with concealed up-lighting. The washrooms are simply an experience everyone who goes needs to see. A great space, fantastic staff, and incredible food and drink combine for a unique experience. We cannot recommend Stolen Goods Cocktail Bar enough!
