Stomping Ground

Got a nice pair of Dunks. I live a few major cities away and they came in the mail pretty quickly. Retailers (owners?) left me a nice personalized message on the card. My cat appreciated the extra pair of laces. Props.

Got a pair of book 1 denims for a crazy good price and shipping was super quick to Toronto. Thanks for the personalized card wasn’t expecting that! My new goto online store in Ottawa.

Ordered a pair of Solovairs online to avoid traffic in the Glebe but got a mismatched pair of shoes delivered (one shoe was a half-size too big). I was about to be irritated at having to drive down there anyway to sort out the error but Ethan from Stomping Ground reached out and personally brought the correct shoe to my workplace the very next day to exchange. Awesome, and thanks again Ethan! Mistakes happen, but this was owning it with style. Can't ask for more than that.

I’d been searching everywhere for my size and the exact color I wanted, and this was the only place that had them in stock. The pricing was better than what I’d seen at bigger stores, which was a nice bonus, and the shipping was fast—I got my order sooner than expected. It’s clear they really care about their customers and their products. It felt good to support a smaller business instead of a big-name company, especially one that offers such a great selection and service. I’d definitely shop here again!

Naj, Josh, Ethan, and the rest of the team are all so completely aware of their customers needs and listen carefully to your wants while making suggestions along the way for items that may surprise you based on your personal tastes. Came in 20 minutes to closing and looked around. Staff was hanging out but were available to help out. Ethan was especially helpful. I tried on a pair of hiking boots, and he knew they were kinda ugly and my girlfriend didn't like them so he talked me down from them. I bought them online later when I was a little drunk and I messed up the shipping details. Ethan was the one to sort that out as well. Will be continuing to support here.

I had great customer service for my online order recently. When my order arrived I realized the courier had crushed my purchase, as it was a gift I was distraught that it was not in good condition. Incredible customer service! Not being local, I found a great jacket on (final) sale at Stomping Ground. Nervous about being stuck with an ill fitting purchase, the team had a similarly built employee try it on for me and take photos to show fit and highlight any possible issues I might run into with it. The jacket arrived yesterday and I can't wait to rock it over the weekend! Super grateful for their help and hope to shop there more!
