I brought in both a PS2 and a PS3 due to disc-reading issues. Unfortunately, the store was not able to identify or fix the problems I was experiencing with either console.
More concerning, when I dropped off my PS3, the HDMI output was working properly. When I picked it up, the HDMI no longer worked, and I was told that it likely never worked to begin with—which is incorrect, as it was functioning normally on my TV prior to drop-off. The console now only works via composite cables.
Overall, not only were the original issues unresolved, but one of my consoles appears to have been returned in worse condition. I can’t say what happened during the repair process, but I strongly recommend thoroughly testing your consoles in front of staff at drop-off and again at pickup.
On a positive note, the store has a great selection of games and nerdy collectibles. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable.
