Stomping Grounds Game Center

This is a great place to find games new and old. There were at least five groups playing live games, snacks and drinks. They have old NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and everything after. Super friendly double checked our purchases for flaws and even resurfaced them to make sure they would be playable right away. 100% all the way!

I came to the store 11/1/24 to purchase a Nintendo 64 to relive my childhood and I had the best experience ever the prices are reasonable and the quality of the games and console were great I appreciate what they do for us gamers I will return 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Great place and great people- I moved to Florida a few years ago from New York and I was so sad when I realized I wouldn’t be able to regularly go to my favorite used game store whenever I needed something or just wanted to look around- well.. I gotta say this store has MORE than replaced that feeling. The people who work there are really chill, nice and accepting of everyone. I love that they are who they are and it’s such a safe place that they make you feel like your just hanging out with a few friends- I work as a teacher down the road from the store and stop in after work every now and then. The only reason I avoid going something’s is because I KNOW I’ll be there for at least 2 hours because I have so much fun sitting and talking with everyone 😆- seriously a great store- if your trading any games or game consoles/accessories I would suggest going here instead of GameStop- with a lot of their stuff they give you a better deal. They also do work on consoles and accessories- you can order games with them if they don’t have something you’re looking for as well. When I call them they know exactly who I am now, so they are my go to buddy’s when it comes to questions about ANY console and I mean ANY! Thanks guys, your awesome. Keep on keepin’’ on 😎

Great service, awesome selection. I've been in here twice so far - once to browse (while my brother shopped) and once to buy - and I was very impressed with both visits. The first time I stopped in, it seemed they had a MTG gathering happening, which was neat to see. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and I am highly satisfied with my recent purchase. I definitely foresee a return visit in the future.

I went into the store to buy some headphones because I like to support local businesses. I was intown when I purchased these running errands yesterday. I picked out a pair made my purchase and went home. Went to use the headphones last night couldn't get them to work. I live about 30 mins from the store. Not just a hop skip and a jump. When I went back they didn't have the same ones. But they had a pair very similar for 10 dollars more. They wouldn't even give me 5 dollars off the other headphones for my troubles. I just accepted my full refund and will purchase some on Amazon or temu lol. They will never have my business again.

Great selection of used games and anything you could need for various types of gaming. The guys that run Stomping Grounds are awesome people and you can tell they are passionate about both their business and their customers. Definitely going to be my go-to game store in Gainesville.

Everytime i go to this place, they go above and beyond to help the customers. Definitrly give them a look if youre ever in the market for retro to more new gaming/tcg.

The gentlemen that work at this establishment are awesome. They have anything you need for gaming. They have always been very courteous and helpful. And have always given a fair price for the items I have sold. Thanks for being a honest and great business!
