Stomping Grounds Game Center

Wow, what a personal experience it is to shop at stomping grounds! Kyle was an angel and non-judgmental about the fact that I am new to the world of gaming, he gave great insight on the games I wanted. Joey was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is immaculate but nothing compares to the welcoming environment and charm you feel as soon as you walk in.

I wanted to get a friend a copy of a game as a gift, but I’m living in Oregon right now. I was able to do a quick easy purchase through their website, and just have my friend pick it up from the store. He was able to pick it up within 30 minutes of ordering and had no issues, definitely good service.

I absolutely love going to this place with my 11 year old autistic son! They are AWESOME! They have the coolest games, from retro/vintage to recent releases for all consoles from Atari forward. They have accessories and cool stuff. I definitely recommend visiting them (Wes, Kyle, Chris n boss man). They make everyone feel welcome in a mom judgement zone.

This is a great place to find games new and old. There were at least five groups playing live games, snacks and drinks. They have old NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and everything after. Super friendly double checked our purchases for flaws and even resurfaced them to make sure they would be playable right away. 100% all the way!

The owner is super awesome, the only place I would recommend here in Gainesville for vintage gaming. They even offer repairs on vintage consoles, which is hard to find! Super fair prices, honest staff, and they they make you feel like family!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love Stomping Grounds! We go atleast once every week, they are undoubtedly the best LGS in Gainesville! Their staff are so friendly and cooperative, their prices beat so many other shops locally, and they have the best MTG database around (plus it's all online!). Their trade-in values are really good and I wouldn't change a thing :) We love them so much!!

This is a great game store. Lots of sealed mtg products and one of the better selections in gainesville. I wouldn't expect to just drop in and get games, but the events usually fire.

I came to the store 11/1/24 to purchase a Nintendo 64 to relive my childhood and I had the best experience ever the prices are reasonable and the quality of the games and console were great I appreciate what they do for us gamers I will return 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
