Major Chef Moves Impact Juniper and Ivy, Campfire, and More - Eater San Diego

"The powerhouse brewing company has installed new executive chefs at two of its brewery restaurant locations. Leading the charge at Liberty Station’s Stone Brewing World Bistro & Garden is Rich Sweeney, a longtime local chef and “Top Chef” alum who most recently worked with North Italia and Tocaya Organica while Israel Ortiz, a veteran of high-volume kitchens at the House of Blues San Diego and Harrah’s Resort Southern California, will oversee the brewery’s original Escondido location. Both chefs will be revamping the food offerings with new dishes as well as bringing back from classic favorites from menus past." - Candice Woo

Google
Wonderful food for a craft brewery with the largest beer selection in San Diego, you can see why some of their beers are well liked across the states. Their food menu is elegant yet substantial, has healthy options and typical less healthy but comfort style bar food that you’re used to. They have an onsite store for merch and beer purchases as well. One of the best dog friendly outdoor patios in San Diego and a large dining room, you can almost always find a seat or a reservation!

Google
First impression with Stone at Liberty Station is how pretty it is. The outdoor seating was full, and I understand why- it’s so pretty! I had to sit inside, but it’s also really nice inside. As for the food and drinks, they were also good. I got the sausage and tomato pasta and a flight that contained a mix of sours, IPAs, and a light lager. Both were good too!

Stopped at Stone Brewery on my way to the airport. It’s got great food, excellent beer and a vibrant atmosphere. I sat at the indoor bar and the cool San Diego breeze from the bay was blowing through. It was refreshing! Had a juicy IPA and fish tacos. What’s not to love about that combo? Lots of other tasty options too.

Google
The restaurant is huge. Large indoor and outdoor dining areas. Half of the outdoor area is setup to order at the bar not with servers. The wait at the bar can be long 25+ min to order on the weekend. Getting to the restaurant can be a pain when it’s busy as all cars come in thru one entrance and the light takes a while. The food was not bad.

Google
Food: Recommend the pasta and the nacho! They are very flavorful. Wish that they add more ahi poke to balance with the amount of the nachos. The shrimp scampi has more of a limey taste and spicy flavor which is nice and refreshing. Wouldn’t recommend the fish and chips as the breaded part is too much. Service: the staff who helped us were very friendly and helpful. Ambiance: it has a medieval vibe interior and the patio seats look amazing!

Google
The location and atmosphere alone is a 5, but the food was pretty appalling. The descriptions sound great and the intention is there, but it was a huge let down. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls just tasted like hamburger helper, the burger was mushy and the chicken parm sandwich was cold and soggy. Service was great.

Google
Great food, especially apps (ahi poke nachos are a must). Employees are attentive and courteous without being overbearing. Inside and outside ambiance is beautiful and unique. Only downside is the heavy air traffic flying overhead from the airport. Very loud at times.

Google
Spacious and extremely pleasant environment. Memorable ontap beer list. Above average food. A must-visit place for those who enjoy good food and beers to match.

Yelp
Love visiting Stone for their Buenaveza beer and environment inside. Visited the Liberty Station location for the first time and it was really good. We had the sweetest waitress I wish I remembered her name but she rocked! Celebrated with ladies for an engagement with drinks and appetizers, everything was good and beer was a plus! Our food did take sometime to come out so that wasn't ideal but once we checked in on them our waitress let us know it was coming. *side note: wait on food took time due to a Christmas party that was happening outside on their patio. Restrooms were different, instead of looking at a mirror after washing hands you're literally looking through to the men's restroom wash area haha takes you by surprise!

Yelp
I was taken here by a friend who had talked up Stone Brewing for years: and it did not disappoint. I did a pick your own stout flight with four 5oz pours. Each 5oz was $3-4 so not bad at all! I tried the imperial stout, the unicorn milk (chai stout), stone brewing coffee collection, and the stone Xocovez (mocha). All were phenomenal but the Xocovez was not very mocha-y so that one was the only one I enjoyed trying but would get again. All the food was great! The pretzel was whole wheat which you don't get everywhere, the fries crispy and all the sauces and meat delicious! Mac and Cheese was just alright so that was one I wouldn't get on its own, but the Mac and cheese works as a "dipping sauce" for the pretzel. Prices are totally reasonable, especially for "tourist" area of San Diego. Server was very friendly but they also use the QR codes on the table to order so there was not much interaction other than delivering the food. The inside and outside seating is really nice. One word of caution with eating outside is that liberty station is very close to the airport so there are often planes flying overhead which is loud

Yelp
Stone Brewing is more than just Arrogant Bastard Ale. It's more than just Stone Delicious... it's a vibe. Nestled into the historic buildings of Liberty Station, you may not be impressed by the exterior, but as soon as you enter you see the level of detail that went into the design. Large vaulted ceilings with draping curtains, ample seating and a large table with a water feature down the middle, numerous areas including a dining room, private rental space, boccee ball area, and don't get me started on the garden with patio seating. The outside is gorgeous with numerous dining tables located around gorgeous trees, shrubs, and a koi pond! If it weren't for the airplanes flying overhead every few minutes you could easily forget where you are. My choice is always to head to the bar in the garden and hope to snag a seat at one of the high tops, but this place is packed in the evenings so don't be surprised if the area is full. I'm always impressed with the rotating menu but some of their staples like Mac n cheese and the huge pretzel are hard to pass up and are quickly devoured. Ill occasionally rotate between sliders, salad, or some sort of asian/Mediterranean bowl. Honestly I don't think there's a wrong option here. Perfect for a date night, happy hour with friends, or just a quick bite/sip while wandering around Liberty Station.

Yelp
This business is monstrous in size. Four separate dining areas for your enjoyment. I would not have known it was a brewery. We attended a private event for our nephew and his fiancé. The beer and wine was overflowing. There were vegetarian eggrolls, samosas, Bavarian, pretzels. Hot wings, beef and Impossible burgers and three different flatbreads. Scrumptious! Beautiful surroundings with indoor and outdoor seating. Huge outdoor firepit. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. Free outdoor shared parking.

Yelp
We really tried to like this place. Heard about it a lot but sadly it missed the mark for us. We were in Liberty Station on a Saturday and decided to stop by with some friends. Let's start with the positives: nice drink choices and a very very large outdoor area. The negatives sadly were plentiful. First of all none of our food came out warm and it took a long time for everything. Everything was "meh." We had everything from French fries, Mac n cheese, the pretzel, sandwiches and the tacos. All were very basic and bland. Sadly the service wasn't spectacular either. All in all I'd recommend coming here just for drinks.

Yelp
Given that beer should be good, food was also good! A little dusty when you're seated outdoor. Very pet friendly! Service is inconsistent on weekend dinners, sometimes they're great sometimes it takes quite some time. Yellowfin Ahi Poke "Nachos"- was pretty good. Wished there were more ahi topped over, there were more of the wonton chips than anything. Impossible Bolognese Rigatoni- So sad they took this off the menu. We loved it so much and had so much flavor, pasta was always al dente. We would sometimes add a protein on top.

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends. We sat in the patio area which at first seemed like a great ambiance but unfortunately the restaurant is near an airport so loud planes passed overhead approximately every 2 minutes. It was really annoying and made conversations awkward having to raise our voices every couple minutes. I'm not sure if it's as bad if you sit indoors. They provide a QR code for you to order. Our food came out at different times since we ordered separately through the QR codes. I ordered the mac and cheese and thought it was good. It was really rich and creamy. While my food was good some of the people in my group were served cold dishes that should have been hot. Fortunately, we had a really great server!

Yelp
Been here a few times and always have a pleasant experience. I would suggest eating outside during warmer days because it's beautiful outdoor area. During my most recent visit, I tried the Chilled Miso Salmon which I really enjoyed. Loved the flavor, as well as the cucumbers, grains, seaweed salad, and sweet potatoes included in the bowl. The salmon is chilled/cold, which I didn't mind, but the server said some people are surprised that it's served that way, so FYI. Also tried the Poke nachos and the Ham and Cheese croquettes for appetizers. Nachos were great, had a lot of poke and good to share. Croquettes were good but smaller than I expected them to be, although they did give 5 pieces. Jess' customer service was super friendly! I've tried other dishes too and they are just as good. Great place for a birthday or other occasions. They have a a bar area as well as indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Had a great time at Stone Brewing. We booked a reservation in advance for a party of 12, and they were able to accommodate us all at one table. The restaurant/brewery is lively, spacious, and well kept. For food, we ordered a few appetizers to share, some notable ones were the wings, and Brussels sprouts. For the entree, I ordered the Angry Chicken Sandwich - it was a bit dry for my liking, but adding some extra sauce made it easier to enjoy. Of course since it it's Stone Brewing, lots of fresh beer on tap to add a little kick to your brunch or dinner. Our server Tricia was fantastic. She made our visit memorable and didn't mind us asking her to take photos even she was very busy. Tricia is enthusiastic, efficient, and funny - keep up the great work!

Yelp
The beer and food were both good, and the ambiance is cool, plenty of heaters. The manager was also awesome. Very attentive and a nice guy. The downsides were that the beer and food took a while to come out and the food came out cold, which was a bit of a letdown. Cold fries and cold fish and chips tells me it was sitting for a while. That said, I understand they were short-staffed and a little busy, so it may have been a one-off experience. Despite that, we were seated quickly, and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a try, just hope the food is hot next time!

Yelp
We stopped in so we can check out the Liberty public market after checking out Coronado. Too bad we ate on Coronado before coming here. The food options looked great, but since we were full, we stopped into Stone Brewing to grab a drink. Vast space and kind of cool with stone adjacent style building. Our waiter was quick and friendly, offering us the opportunity to come and go as we pleased. He set us up by loading our credit card, and letting us know we can close out whenever we're ready. Heads up though, it can get loud here, albeit not from the crowd. The planes fly directly overhead every few minutes, so be aware of this if you choose to sit outside.

Yelp
Stopped in post dinner and had an apple pie cider (yes, it really tastes like apple pie) and a big pretzel. The pretzel came a nice cheese sauce and a great grainy mustard. The bar can be a little haphazard during peak dinner time.

Yelp
First time to this restaurant/brewery. I love liberty station, lots of great restaurants & cute boutique shops. Our server was Jeremy I believe and he seemed okay at first, but as the day progressed (we were there four hours) he was very obnoxious. He seemed drunk & slurring his words & his face was red. We would order an item & he would say "no" I think he was trying to joke around but he came across as rude and people in my group were feeling a bit irritated. We ordered a lot of items as there were about ten of us in our group. I liked the Hulu Hulu chicken, but it cooled down fast & tasted tough after it cooled. The stone wings were pretty good, the churro donut was just okay. The strawberry and cream crème brûlée wasn't that great, it was underwhelming. Overall the food wasn't bad, but I think if we had a different server it would have been a better experience.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place and the vibe of it! My family sat outside and it was such a nice day and so peaceful (besides some of the airplanes flying above us). I will say that service wise it was okay, we just wish he had checked in a little more often. The food though was so good, no complaints about anything! We had the ahi nachos and the flavor was yummy, though the Brussel spouts beat them out with the flavor (could have eaten those by myself for sure). I ordered the fish and chips, which were nice and crispy on top, unfortunately a little soggy on the bottom. The tatar sauce with it paired so nicely though. The garlic fries were a nice addition as well but nothing super special. For drinks, I recommend the blueberry lemon spritz, it was fantastic. I also ordered the only sour beer they have (might not be everyone's favorite, but it is mine). The stone painkiller was okay but the other 2 were a lot better. Would love to come back here again some day.

Yelp
We love this place! We came here to have their food - ordered a burger, the FML chicken wings and a taco and fell in love with everything! We came back a second time and had the Brussel sprouts and almost ordered a second one, that is how good they were! Their beer is not as good as the Karl Strauss, but their food is the best among all the San Diego breweries that serve food. Their staff is super easy to work with too. We had our wedding reception here and it was a wonderful experience working with Sydney, the events coordinator, and Jacob and his team on the day of. We had Mac and cheese, sliders, flatbreads, the tiramisu and churros for the reception menu. The tiramisu was the highlight of everything. The churros were just ok. Our event space was beautiful and looked like a Hogwarts House common room, which was perfect for our reception theme. All in all, this location has a very special in our hearts and we are obviously regulars here now!

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and haven't had a bad experience. The beers are good, food is decent, and prices are a little above average. This place is huge, with an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating available. An indoor and an outdoor bar, large clean restrooms, cool merchandise, and a mellow/chill atmosphere. During the weekdays, seating isn't bad, and it isn't too busy. However, on the weekends, there tends to be long wait times and finding an open table at the bar can be difficult. Once you're seated, you don't have to wait for a server to take your order. You simply scan the QR code that is located on top of every table. This is how you can view the menu, order food/drinks, and pay. This is very convenient, easy to use, and allows for multiple separate orders and payment options. If you have poor cell phone service, no problem, there is free Wi-Fi available. Servers bring water to your table and there are water stations located all over for convenience. There are a variety of beers on tap for every palate, brewed cocktails, and wines. You can opt for a beer flight or glass varying in size. They serve a good mixture of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, sides, tacos, and desserts. The food was good but overpriced in my opinion. Overall, this is a cool place to hang out with friends and grab a drink.

Yelp
Came in with a large party at open (11am) and they gave us a 30 minutes wait time. The gentleman at the host stand was great! He's put together and knows how to talk to guests. He worked with us and was able to get us sat within 15 minutes! Yay!! The server was good as well, we asked about separate checks & he pointed out the QR code on the table and said we can order and pay on there to keep things easy. However that came with the cost of lack of service throughout our meal. Guests needing side of ranch, refills of water, to-go boxes... we weren't able to get them easily. The San Diego weather was great to sit outside, but being so close to the airport, the planes traveling over us made it hard to talk! Be mindful if you sit outside! Great spot to visit & will definitely come back when back in CA!

Yelp
Sunday, August 11, 2024: We were invited for a pre-graduation luncheon for one of my former troops in the jet shop of the 752 AMXS at March ARB. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) 2024. An Eagle like me from Class of '07. Liberty Station is lively & crowded with scarce parking. First time at this eatery. They were seated outdoors in the garden patio. We were a party of 12 adults and 2 children. It was nice to see his wife, children, and his families. There were 2 more jet shop troops & it was nice seeing them. There were so many choices on the menu and it was difficult to choose. It was between a Birria sandwich or Fish & Chips. I chose Fish & Chips. As an appetizer we shared the Mac and Cheese. It was delicious! My meal was very good with generous portions I had to take some of it to go. My hubby devoured his hamburger. The food was great and came out quickly, which was surprising for our big group. The outdoor patio dining was scenic & in such a nice, shady cluster of trees & umbrellas. Unfortunately, all the beauty outdoors and the tasty food was not enough to compensate for the abysmal customer service. Unlike the food it left a bad taste in our mouths. Two stars off for the lackluster customer service. I don't know what "they/them's" problem was but they had a bad attitude! Asking for another tea felt like we were inconveniencing them. I don't give a f*** what your sexual orientation is but I expect to be treated in a decent & attentive manner. But, they were awful. They asked if I wanted ranch dressing and I said yes but never got it. No malt vinegar was brought over as requested. We had to ask for EVERYTHING! We figured they didn't have to work hard since they would get an automatic gratuity due to being a large group. Sad they didn't even earn it! We didn't catch their name because we didn't pay the bill. The guest of honor did. This experience with the poor service soured us on this first time visit. It's a shame that it takes just one bad employee to make a first bad impression. There are other eateries that offer exceptional customer service like Slaters 50/50. We were invited here and would prefer not to return on our own accord.

Yelp
Stone brewing is a must while visiting Liberty Station as they have awesome beer and huge outdoor seating. I enjoy building my own flights as you get to select different types of beers. The staff are always helpful and willing to guide you around the menu. I ordered the CENTENNIAL BURGER which was amazing and it paired well with my beer selection.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my must do's during my trip to San Diego was hit up some breweries. Stone is a mainstay so when my friend told me about this location right by the airport, I knew it was in the stars for us to go! The location is beautiful, I just wanted stay and walk around. There's ample seating in and outdoors plus looks like they have private rooms for parties and such. We got there later in the night to grab a small bite and brew, we ordered the ahi tuna poke nachos. Lots of chips, little poke which was a bummer. I went with their IPA and it was just as delicious as I expected it to be since it's a classic of theirs. There was some confusion on if we were supposed to order via the QR code or with the server since they kept coming up and making sure we ordered, paid, etc. Regardless, would love to come back to try more beers and food!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant inside and out..the ambiance gives a sense of tranquility; there are flowing water featutures, stone layout and plants... theres even a koi pond and mini bridge. A beautiful zen garden where you can eat outdoors. Its beauty continues inside with calming string lights. Plenty of seating available....booths, small and extra large long tables for guest. A bar and their signature beers. The menu can be viewed via QR code. You use your phone to self order and pay. The food came out quick. Servers always available even on a busy Saturday. Beer flights, margaritas, mixed cocktail drinks to choose from. Tonight we tried the Yellowfin Ahi Nachos, Birria tacos, Stone Sig Burger with parm fries and Pumpkin Creme Brulee. All items very flavorful and delicious. We came in a group of 14 and service and self ordering was a breeze and effortless. No need to stress over splitting tabs. Definitely coming back!

Jordyn J.

Yelp
Stone is always a solid choice for a small bite and beers! Love the taco trio and the endless choices of building beer flights to try out all the beers. There's space to sit inside or out -- both great options. Love the outside bar and the choice to order via online app or with wait staff.
google avatar

Ari J.

Yelp
I am very happy to confirm that this place has completely turned around! It was great, then things went down hill... recently they replaced management and did a total top down overhaul. Stone Brew pub is back! Food quality has vastly improved as has the whole experience. This is the gem of Liberty Station and it has been polished to its previous luster. Great beers coupled with very good food make this an oasis for the locals looking for a casual stop after a hot afternoon out and about.

Yelp
Truly delectable braised short rib. Every bite was amazing. The carrots were unexpectedly tasty! The food was so aesthetically pleasing and just as I thought things could not get better the flavors and textures of the short rib, jus, and potatoes blew my mind. The outside seating was so pretty and I enjoyed a lot of the natural sunlight. Just as the night went on and the sky turned a tad darker, the strobe lights turned on, creating a very picturesque and cozy atmosphere. My party was quite large so I do not blame any slower-than-usual service, though it did take me a bit to get my order in. The only complaint I have is the loudness of the planes flying by, which in the beginning was not too distracting, but after several interrupted conversations it got a little annoying. Oh well.
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
VERY LOUD HERE with AIRPLANES FLYING OVERHEAD every 20 minutes, and it is VERY BUSY which makes it even louder. It is pricey, too, as all Stone Brewing places are. It is beautiful here, inside and outside seating, accessible entrances and exits, seating, and bathrooms. The food and drinks were good! I loved the chocolate cake dessert, also. My servers were super friendly and attentive!
google avatar

Yelp
What a great location! Came here on the way to the airport after a day in San Diego. Stone has a nice bar inside with lots of seating, but the outside area is the place to be. Lots of green plants with a koi pond that goes throughout the area. It's very relaxing. We sat at the bar, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I love Stone beer and was shocked at how many beers they had on tap! I am usually a West Coast IPA fan, but decided to try some new beers. I ended up getting the Liberty Station Flight, which had four of their beers made on sight. I really enjoyed the Stone Crimsonite and Stone Libertad Loma Dark Lager. Stone has an extensive menu, and the food looked good. We weren't that hungry, but my partner saw they had gluten-free chocolate cake, so we had to get it. It was a big slice and very good. I have a jean jacket that I have been putting brewery patches on, and even though I already have a Stone Live Buena Patch, I couldn't help but go and look in the gift shop because Stone has such great merch designs. Unfortunately, they didn't have any patches, but I ended up getting the Enjoy by 4.20 Joggers and Socks. I love the tie-dye design and style of both. I already want to go back to try more of their beers on tap. If you are around Liberty Station, definitely stop by and grab a pint and maybe some sweet merch too ;)

Yelp
Ambience at Stone is always a vibe- love their outdoor dining area! Great for large parties and get togethers. Service is interesting as you kind of have a server kind of don't. You order using the barcodes on your table and food runners bring them out to you but servers will still stop by and ask if you want to order anything through them as well. We just ordered through the bar code as we were in a large party and it seemed much easier. Since this place is so huge I get why the barcode would make everything more efficient but I do slightly miss the constant interaction with the staff as that's one thing I love about going out to eat! We ordered the lump crab cakes for an app, they look way bigger on photos than they were in person. Very small portion for $28 but pretty good in flavor. Not an app to share more for you and another person. The chicken sandwich was delicious and had a ton of flavor. I see why it was so highly recommended on Yelp! Food came out super fast but at odd times because if one person ordered 2 mins before you using the barcode you could be waiting another 20 minutes for your order. Another con to not having a server put in one big order all together.

Yelp
Loved it here, we came on a busy Saturday night. Nick the manager was very helpful when my fiancée ordered the waygu burger rare and it came out well done. We got another burger and he took both off the bill which was very kind. 2nd burger came out also overcooked, and a second mgr came by to apologize and say they'd talk with the cooks. We are understanding that everyone makes mistakes and don't care about that. Beautiful ambiance and great service. We will be back again!

Yelp
Stone is such a well known name in San Diego and across the beer loving nation. This liberty station location is one of their bistros so they have a full food menu and a garden area. Couple pros. This liberty station location is huge and they have ample seating inside in multiple rooms that each have their own feel (dining, bar/lounge, etc) and a big "garden" area that is dog friendly with a lot of seating and it's own bar area. If you aren't from the area a couple good to knows are that the planes are so loud. The location is right under the flight path, and while we are used to it at this point, if you are not be aware outside it will be loud. Also, despite popular believe, San Diego can get chilly outside especially in the evening and at night. Luckily they have heat lamps, but be prepared or be ready to buy a Stone hoodie. Food wise, we usually have the Bavarian pretzel which is always a good plan to have with a couple beverages. In the past I have tried a pasta dish and they had a crispy olive dish. I've also had the Cuban sandwich. So far, everything has just been ok. I keep looking for the dish will be the one I love to keep me coming back, and I have yet to find it. However I will keep trying and it is extremely popular. I still love all the seating and the vibe.

Yelp
Always love Stone, both the Liberty Station location and the Escondido location. Food is great, service is very good, and beer choices excellent.

Yelp
We stopped in for a drink and to hang, and loved the outdoor area at Stone. It was huge and had some open seating with plenty of umbrellas for shade which was appreciated! The drinks were good and we snacked on the ahi tuna poke nachos, which we enjoyed. We sat in the bar area so we went to order ourselves and didn't have a server, but we did have someone come over and take our empty glasses and plate pretty quickly when we finished so from what we witnessed the service was good. Fun place to hang!

Yelp
Came for a holiday dinner and were able to make reservations for a party of 20 a week in advance. Important to know because it was in December and busy busy with holiday gatherings. The venue is big enough to host different type of parties. We were sat outside , but kept warm as they have plenty of outdoor heating lamps. As to the food I ordered the fish and chips and my friend the chicken sandwich. Both were good!!!! I appreciate that the battered fish was more fish than batter bc you know some places tend to serve more batter than fish. The fries had a good crisp and the tartar sauce was good as well. Also love that you can do your own order through the phone. Makes it so much easier for large parties. Definitely coming back, but for the chicken sandwich as I only had a bite .

Yelp
Stone brewery is a massive venue, but a must go to if you're visiting liberty Station. Like the size of the venue there and drink list is quite extensive which is great if the taste fair throughout the group. Indoor venue, which is less popular is more for the dining crowd while the outdoor area by the Quon and outdoor bar is great. Enjoy the San Diego sunshine host event which there are frequently wedding parties or baby showers being hosted in the corner of this area. The bar is up in order. The food is delivered to your seats. If you're tourist, I recommend checking this place out. If you're a local this is a great place to come play some bocce ball, cornhole or just have a few drinks checking out the local market or going to see a movie at the Lot.

Yelp
I was seated at a booth and waited 30 min to be served. While waiting i realized the scan to order option, started it and as i was finishing a guy slowly walked up. Btw, your app is horrible to work with, I'm not sure if it's your crappy wifi but I had to try multiple times to get my order times sorted out. I really wanted the braised short rib but it would not work. After moving onto the fish and getting my order in, go figure - I was told the short rib was available. Don't expect good cell service here either. It's not your fault because of the airport but it's frustrating when your wifi service is not any better than my 1 bar service on my cell phone. Finally, I wanted to leave a tip on the app. Not able to do it.

Yelp
Brewery and restaurant- Huge spot in liberty station. Parking is easy and quick to get to. There are multiple rooms and gardens with unique themes in each one. The food is excellent- we got the poke nachos, burger, chicken sandwich, and Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend the poke and Brussels. Service was very quick despite our large party and the table and gardens were very clean!

Yelp
Food, drinks, music and unmatched vibes? Yes please! This place has it all! Went to the liberty station location on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating and the day was beautiful to sit outside! I'm not a huge beer drinker but when I do, it has to be a sour one! Pricing is really good for a beee and the taste didn't disappoint. Had the birria sandwich and it was amazing with the consommé! My gf had one of their salads and honestly it looked so good! Our server always had our water filled and kept coming over for more drink orders or anything else we needed. Being in liberty station, there is so much more to do here but this place is a good spot to have some drinks and food with friends and family!

Yelp
**EVENT REVIEW** We had the most amazing experience at Stone Brewery for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the day before our wedding! The venue was perfect, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for our wedding weekend. The food and drinks were outstanding, showcasing the quality and flavor Stone Brewery is known for, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the craft beers and delicious menu. We rented the movie courtyard space which was perfect for our 150 guests to socialize. We even were able to set up a TV to play a slideshow and had a mic for some speeches. What truly made the evening exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly organized, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of, and every detail was handled with precision and care. Special shoutout to Lexi, who was our event sales coordinator leading up to the event and Paul, who was our day-of coordinator. Together, they comprised a team that was friendly, professional, and always on hand to make sure our guests had everything they needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to kick off our wedding celebrations. Stone Brewery provided the perfect setting, amazing food and drinks, and top-notch service that made our event unforgettable. We highly recommend Stone Brewery for any special occasion--you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
The ambiance here is great and they have so much space in different areas. The outdoor space allows for great get togethers. The brussels sprouts were flavorful and the perfect crispiness. The carnitas taco was very flavorful and very good as well. The burger had no flavor and was a disappointment. We loved our waitress and she was very sweet and attentive to us the whole time. We will be back!!

Yelp
The ambiance and decor is great. There's a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. I've typically gone here for work events. You order using a QR code making it easy for large groups to pay on separate tabs. The food is good, but nothing that I find myself worth raving about. Note: Sometime there is a long line at the host table, but you can just walk in and often find seats at the bar. The high tops nearby the bar are also open seating too!

Yelp
Today is National pretzel day and I was looking for places that had pretzels. Stone Brewing came up and when I perused their menu, I noticed some of their burgers looked really enticing so I decide to come in. While the hostess was less than dtellar with her friendliness, the waiter and manager were incredibly awesome. I had the Wagyu burger with a side of mac-n-cheese. The brioche bun really complimented the burger which was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The mac-n-cheese was the best that I've had in a long time. I would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
Great location!! Very spacious, lots of parking, game area, and outside garden seatings. Food is good, large selection of beers, and service is very attentive. I recommend this restaurant for large group get togethers, celebrations, or a romantic date night.

Yelp
I had not been to stones liberty station in some time... I think our experience was not great ...This last time around we had a way better time and servers, food, everything was on point. Beer samples came out fast, food was fast... One thing about stones they use an app to order food... So it could be tricky... Just made sure to get everyones input/food items. We got a little bit of everything... My fav. Was the mac n cheese with HUGE steak tips!!

Yelp
This location is beautiful! The interior decoration is really nice and the low key metal music playing everywhere is awesome. I definitely need to come back to try more food. I got the Korean fried chicken sandwich and it could've used more of the sauce, but still my favorite. The Mac Dallas could use a different mayonnaise and more white pepper, but still edible. That's my only gripe. The bathroom is soooo cool. Ashton was our server and she was on top of everything. So amazing!

Yelp
What a great location for a group dinner, with rock and water features both inside and out. The food and drink menus are equally strong, and the staff do their best to be helpful with a cheery attitude. The beers and wines seem to have been popular; I got a white linen cocktail and was underwhelmed. However, check out the size of the SoCal salad! It was big enough for 2 hungry people or 3 not-hungry people (I got 3 servings out of it). The Brussels sprouts, Wagyu burger, oversized Bavarian pretzel, and birrio tacos were table favorites. The fries reminded me more of Burger King fries than McDonald's fries with their texture. Free parking in the lots around the Liberty Station complex; in case you need to know, the street on which their entrance is, is one way, so the streets are laid out in a grid but not not entirely symmetrical in that way.

Yelp
Really good lunch in a beautiful setting. The place was packed so service a bit slow but still friendly.

Yelp
There is a beautiful outside dining area, however it's very loud due to the airplanes flying over every 2 minutes. The servers were nice and helpful. You can order for yourself using the QR code on the table which was convenient. The beer was good, I ordered a Berliner that was refreshing. The parm garlic fries would've been good but they were served cold. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious.
