Olde Town’s refined, seasonal dining room from chef-owners Brandon Kerr and Jordan Alley. Celebrated by 5280 for exacting technique, warm service, and that crackly hot-honey fried chicken; a true special-occasion pick that still feels neighborly. Our son and his fiancee took me and my husband here for dinner on a special occasion. It was the perfect place to celebrate. I believe the chef changes the menu every month. We began with the Parker rolls that are made in house--they're not complimentary but an absolute must have for your meal. Think elevated King's Hawaiian rolls that are crispy and warm from the oven with a scrumptious brown butter on top and coarse salt. Our salad was a cherry tomato and basil mix on a bed of delicious dressing. It was so good, our entire table wanted more. My husband and I shared our entrees of pork belly and roasted chicken. I've never had pork belly honestly and it was very good but I'm not sure I would order it again. The gravy was a 10, as was the accompanying kale/squash salad, but in the end, I'm probably not a huge pork belly fan. My husband's chicken was perfectly prepared and the hush puppies and corn sauce were divine. We loved the service--not rushed, elegant but casual, attentive but not rushed. We can't wait to return!

I have had the pleasure of dining at Stone Cellar many times since it opened. Tonight was such a standout dinner. The peach and watermelon salad was perfection--ripe and crisp. The wedge salad with the blue cheese dressing and bacon with fried shallots was an upgrade to a classic. Ribeye, with potatoes I didn't know I had missing all my life. There are few restaurants that are consistently delicious and seasonal and Stone Cellar hits the mark every time. Thank you for always wowing me.

Food was delicious! The ribeye was marbled and was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were delicious as well as the goddess salad. Every dish was satisfying for sure and we will be back.

Google
I would have loved to give this restaurant a better review - but the experience was mediocre at best. I will say, the focaccia bread was amazing. Worth ordering for yourself or to share. The ribeye was $55 and the most underwhelming meal we’ve had yet. Not only was it overcooked - it was sliced so thin you would wouldn’t even know it was a ribeye - appeared more like a skirt stake with a lot of fat. I noted this to the server, and they offered to remake it but honestly it was just bad. They offered to make something different - we chose the wagyu steak burger instead as my colleague had enjoyed hers. The wine was was great - and the server had good recommendations. When receiving the bill - they billed full price for the steak dinner, and added a $10 up charge (5%) for “kitchen appreciation” - I found this a bit bold. Pay your staff accordingly, don’t put it on your customers. Usually I try places 3x before leaving a review - but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Stone Cellar Bistro is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for any occasion. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor—every bite felt like a treat. The service was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Google
Stone Cellar Bistro is one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. The menu is familiar and creative. The ingredients are exquisite and seasonal, which I love. The rolls are to die for. The trout I had was inspiring. And the apple tart was simply the best apple dessert I’ve ever had! It’s definitely a culinary experience worth having. Stone Cellar gives Old Towne Arvada something to brag about. Make it one of your special occasion go-tos! You won’t regret it

We had the 5 course meal with drink pairings it was delicious, 🤤 I wish they do this more often. Late post this occurred in October. I’m still thinking about the food I had to post….

Best food my husband and I have had in the US. Thoughtfully created and prepared, each bite such a treat. Will definitely be revisiting.

Yelp
loved the ambience and location. the host was friendly & our server very attentive, but not extra. the apps arrived quickly - they were so savory! once we polished that off, we felt as tho we were waiting fore-EH-vuhr for our entrees. it is very likely that we were so excited for the main event and were simply impatient. oh! but that main event!!!! double-YUM! one of us had the pork and the other a burger and boy oh boy were our tastebuds in hog heaven! we give everything that we devoured a ten!

Mark E.

Yelp
Phenomenal food, great service and knowledgeable, passionate staff. I was taken by friends for a special dinner, and was not disappointed. Be sure to ask the staff for recommendations as they will take you on a delicious journey through your meal. And be sure to ask about dessert, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I am so sad to post this. Our first experience was excellent but we went back maybe a month ago and the bar was dirty. The wines were corked. The kitchen was unfocused. It took us an hour to get 2 drinks and 1 appetizer and cost us $75 with tip... idk what happened but I know they can do better. I emailed the restaurant bland heard nothing back. We probably won't be back again after that experience.

Yelp
Damn, this was good! Stone Cellar Bistro is a cozy, small restaurant in the heart of Olde Town Arvada. I went for happy hour and ended up ordering everything on the happy hour menu--it was worth it. The drinks were phenomenal, and the food was amazing. After happy hour ended, we grabbed a few desserts, and they were out of this world. The service was great, even though we were just sitting at the bar. The staff, friendly and up for chatting while we relaxed. Stone Cellar Bistro is a new favorite spot. Excited to go back.

Yelp
I wrapped up 2024 in the best way possible - with an incredible meal at one of my favorite spots in the Denver metro area Their five-course meal was Perfectly executed and paired with wines chosen by the swaggiest sommelier I've ever met. The service? Outstanding. The experience? Near perfect. Chef Brandon Kerr and his team change the menu daily, always working with the best and freshest ingredients. What we ordered: Scallop - champagne, caviar Monkfish - lobster dashi, smoked collards Duck Breast - celery root, bone jus N.Y. Strip - short rib, black truffle Cheesecake - cider, granita Best bites: I thought our first course was butter, but it turned out to be the most perfectly cooked scallop I've ever had. The caviar on top? A great touch (and yes, we may have turned it into a bump). The duck breast was perfectly cooked, and the bone jus with celery root brought everything together. The N.Y. strip was textbook medium rare, and the short rib made the perfect bite. And that cheesecake? Unreal - the tart cider granita made it next level.

Yelp
We were celebrating our anniversary and this was just the place to do it. And looking back at my review from last year, this is becoming a habit. I had the most lovely steak served with stuffed squash blossoms. The steak was done perfectly and so tender. My husband had their fish offering which came with Palisade peaches and shishito peppers. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The fish was tender and delicate and paired so well with peach. The service here is always top notch. They have different menus depending on what is in season. I would recommend a reservation if you are planning to go on a weekend evening as the space is not large. They do have bar seating as well as some outside space.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic dinner here. Stopped by for a quick solo dinner and ate at the bar. Jessie was great and made some wonderful recommendations. Peach palisades app was great and snapper was maybe the best fish I have had in a decade. Will be back!

Yelp
Wagyu tartare: 5/10, would prefer a crisper crust vs crumbly Fois gras: 6/10 Bread: 7.5/10, nice and fresh out of the oven Roast chicken: 8.5/10, chicken was good, sauce was too salty Pork shoulder: 7.5/10, pork was super tender

Yelp
I've been a repeat customer and have gone to Stone Cellar Bistro 5 times now and can I just say, WOW! I keep up with all surrounding restaurants in Arvada and can say with a high level of confidence that this is the best New American restaurant in Arvada. The service is amazing. Very attentive staff who are always happy to give recommendations and address any concerns you may have (food allergy in my case). The food! Oh, the food! It's amazing. Super creative and always tasty. I'm so happy this place is in walking distance from where I live! I really really want to be a regular but it is on the pricy side so will have to settle for stopping by every couple of months.

Boris M.

Yelp
Expensive, but you most definitely get what you pay for. Every dish that I tried was at least a solid 9, but I'd give them a 10. I will certainly be recommending this place to friends and family. The service was great as well. I'll provide a more detailed review for those interested. I live in Centennial so this was a bit of a drive; however, it was well worth it. One of the few shows I watch on TV is "Hell's Kitchen" and as soon as I saw that Brandon was from Colorado, I knew I wanted to try his food. He was an extremely strong competitor and, Colorado bias aside, I thought he had a very good shot of winning. On to the food: We started out with the lettuce wraps and fried chicken. It'd be brutal to decide between the two. Both were incredible. All three of us loved the lettuce wraps. Savory with a little bit of kick. 10/10. The wings were solid, as well. One of my guests didn't quite love them - she prefers spicy buffalo-style wings. With that said, I didn't expect the "hot honey wings" to be spicy buffalo wings. To each their own, I suppose. My other guest and I enjoyed them. They met and exceeded my expectations. Hot (temperature-wise), tender, crunchy wings doused in a honey glaze. I may have preferred a bit more spice, but I'm really just nit-picking at this point. My guest thoroughly enjoyed his wagyu burger. I don't blame him for not wanting to share. As such, I personally only tried his fries. They were seasoned and cooked well. I ordered the pork-belly carbonara. I am not exaggerating when I say that the pork was probably the best I've ever had. I don't often eat pork, so take from that what you will. It was crispy, but melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The scallop was also very tasty and I quite liked the pasta. If you were curious, the third guest didn't have an entree; she was full after the two appetizers. If you were to ask me to tell you one bad thing about the experience, it would be my portion size. Again, I'm grasping at straws here. When you walk into a restaurant such as this, you know you're not getting all you can eat sized portions. The burger entree was pretty fat, though. To reiterate, I'm definitely nit-picking - I just want to provide an objective review. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I'd quite like to return here, but only on special occasions; the drive, for me, is a dissuading factor and the prices would also render it a more so once in a while type treat. Thank you, Jordan and Brandon. You guys clearly know what you're doing.

Yelp
Something you should know about the Stone Cellar Bistro in old town Arvada: While I've been a big fan of the place as being one of the best "neighborhood restaurants" in the entire Denver-Boulder area, the meal we had there last night was Michelin star worthy at much much less than Michelin star prices. Attached are some pix but they don't begin to depict the outrageously delicious food we were served. The menu changes every month so a specific recommendation might not serve you well, but while they change up the entrees frequently, the apps seem to be more regular in appearance. Some that you shouldn't miss are the steak tartare, the endive salad and (if you're into this kind of thing...) the dark chocolate covered fois gras balls with touches of wild cherries and crushed pistachios. Wow! (and the expresso chocolate tart and almond sponge cake with Compari sorbet we shared for dessert were out of this world too!). Sign me, David "Exec Director of the SCB Fan Club" M

Yelp
The food is a m a z i n g! We have told all our foodie friends that it is a must for date night! The waygu burger was phenomenal! The pistachio crème brûlée - incredible! My husband and son loved their old fashions. You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu!

Yelp
Olde Town Arvada has @stonecellarbistro that's must visit! A date night spot! Opened in June of last year by two best friends with over 30 years of collective experience. Jordan with the dreadlocks and Brandon, who's the Chef de Cuisine. Just honest-to-goodness good food that reminds you of French dishes but with a twist of familiarity - like a seasoned friendship. They source locally. We had the most fantastic dinner. We can't pick a favorite. Phenomenal dishes. We started with their 21-day-old Buckner Farms Beef Tartare. Instead of bread, they used Tater Tots. The surprising switch was both fun and so good! Fresh! Foie Gras Parfait Meyer Lemon Curd, Pickled Curtants, Mountain Man Basil, Toasted Brioche. Amazing! So smooth! So rich! I'm still thinking about this! Followed by infinite Harvest Bib Lettuce and Wedge salad. The Green Goddess dressing on the latter was terrific! We also tried their Buckner Family Lamb Loin. So tender. The best! Beautifully plated and an immensely delicious dish! They sent us home with their Wildfire Chicken. It's fried chicken and hot honey! Get this! Their plates are made by a local potter, Cassandra Duft @hanoviceramics. Jordan's family has gone on camping trips for generations at Stone Cellar in Sawatch, CO.

Yelp
Had an excellent dinner last night at Stone Cellar Bistro. We love that it is in Arvada (where we live) but feels and tastes like a big city, high end restaurant. Don't skip the parker house rolls. They are big and fluffy and delicious. I had the duck which was exquisite--crispy outside, moist and tender inside with a lovely sauce that you want to slurp up every last bit of. Husband had the flat iron steak which was perfectly prepared with a chimichurri sauce, that he used said rolls to mop up all the juices. Staff is friendly and attentive, we never felt rushed in any way.

Yelp
There is a reason that Stone Cellar Bistro is ranked among the best restaurants in Denver - An innovative and creative menu, absolutely delicious food, intimate and relaxed atmosphere, and terrific service. We recently celebrated birthdays here and the entire experience was so special and memorable! Wine selection is abundant...had an Italian red, and my partner had a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Shared a bleu cheese wedge salad, which was delicious. We also shared a plate of locally sourced Grateful Bread rolls, with a walnut miso butter. For entrees, slow roasted pork shoulder and brown butter basted sea bass - every bite was an explosion of flavors. For dessert, we shared the Bee Squared Honey Tart with raspberry preserves. The entire meal was amazing, but our awesome Server, Rob, really made the it an experience with stellar service! Can't wait to go back! You will love this restaurant.

Yelp
I'm so happy this place came to Olde Town Arvada. It took over Mi Tierra, which was a Mexican place I tried once and didn't really like. I've been to this new restaurant a couple times and the food has always been delicious. Definitely start with the biscuits. They were delectable. The hanger steak, if they have it, was also a nice dish. I like that their menu changes with what's seasonal and the best quality on the market at the time. The charcuterie plate was well done. The jalapeño peach jam was amazing. And the desserts were really good as well. The cheesecake - yum! The servers have always been super nice and on top of things when I've visited. The restaurant was kind of small but not cramped. Just feels intimate. I really love this place and I hope it stays around for a long time. The best place to park was probably the parking garage. It was a short walk from the RTD parking garage to this restaurant.

Yelp
We've eaten in and around Old Towne Arvada many times, before and after shows at the Arvada Center. Never been here before this evening, and are so glad we did. With food and drinks, the whole thing cost around $100/person -- but we had a lot of food and drinks, and it was all excellent. The menu is relatively short, varied, and complex, but the taste of everything was just delightful. The special creme brulee was one of the best I've ever had. The cocktail menu was interesting, and shared sips showed it was all good. The server was quietly competent, the additional staff helpful -- and, overhearing us talking about theater, the hostess checked if we were heading to a show afterward so that they could accelerate things for us. Only downside, to be honest, is that it's in the middle of a block in the parking and blocked streets and zig-zags that make up Old Towne Arvada. I'm sure with, anticipated return visits, we'll figure out where best to park.

Yelp
We celebrated the holidays by making a reservation well in advance at Stone Cellar Bistro. This small and charming restaurant in Old Town Avada does not disappoint in its food preparation and presentation. The short ribs, snapper and pork belly that we ordered for our table of four were all excellent. Stars are removed from our review because of a communication problem between the wait staff and the kitchen that caused our entrees to be served more than an hour after we ordered. The restaurant partially made amends by providing an additional free entree. That problem aside, we have eaten at the restaurant several times and recommend it.

Yelp
We stopped in a few months ago to have a drink at the bar, talked to the staff, and promised we'd be back - and back we came! I was so excited to try Stone Cellar Bistro because not only are the owners incredible chefs but their whole menu has a locally sourced component. We started with the Grateful Bread and the whipped feta was incredible. From there we got the infinite Harvest Bib and the Carpaccio. The carpaccio was definitely our favorite of the night. We each got the Sir-lion which was really great as well and had so many floral flavors. We got the creme brûlée and toffee pudding for dessert, which were great as well. We will definitely be back - you'll probably catch us at the bar eating all the Carpaccio!

Another AMAZING meal at one of my favorite places to dine! Best servers and their food is always so wonderful! Thank you KEN & Rob and the manager for a lovely evening!

Yelp
My husband and I have dined at Stone Cellar Bistro twice now in the past 2 months. The first time was a 5 star experience. We had ordered a salad & fois gras as appetizers. Fois gras was amazing, salad was good but nothing to write home about and nothing special to justify the price. For our main courses, we ordered the steak cooked medium rare and roasted chicken. The star of the night was the roasted chicken and the steak followed closely behind! Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection. Not only that, all the cocktails we ordered were phenomenal. To end the night, our server gave us glasses of champagne to celebrate our special night. I kept raving about Stone Cellar Bistro to friends in the area and kept insisting the food was totally worth the price! I absolutely hate when we dine out somewhere and the food is just not worth what we paid for at the end. Fast forward 2 months (11/4), my family was in town from DC and since DC is one of the meccas of GOOD restaurants, I thought what better place to take my family than to Stone Cellar Bistro? We started out with dirty martini and an old fashioned. - Old Fashioned- This was way too sweet & had crushed ice. This is not a dive bar by any means so please PLEASE, if you're going to have old fashioned on the menu, please serve it with one large single ice cube. - Dirty Martini- This was my drink. It was OK- nothing to write home about. - Whiskey Sour- This came in a regular glass with ICE. Whiskey Sours are NOT served with ice. WAYY too sour. At this point, 2 out of 3 cocktails were 1 out of 5 stars. I originally wanted another cocktail but decided not to get one b/c the two cocktails my husband ordered were just not good. We were utterly surprised because our last experience was completely different. Maybe different bartender? Please at least establish some level of consistency of the quality of drinks between different bartenders. Moving forward, we ordered 2 Roast chickens, steak (cooked medium), and dry aged venison (medium rare). Both chicken entrees were dry. Steak was cooked to medium but again was dry. The gnocchi in the chicken entrees were way too doughy and tasted undercooked. All in all, the food was passable but was it worth the price? Absolutely not. Were the cocktails worth the price? Definitely not. I was pretty disappointed since I've been going around telling family and friends about this place and taking out of town guests to this restaurant and we were left feeling dissatisfied. I did tell the server that our chicken was very dry and he told me he would inform the kitchen staff. The food/drinks just warranted 2 stars honestly considering the $$ we paid for dinner. Also, I noticed that Stone Cellar did charge 5% living wage on the entire bill. I honestly don't understand why restaurants add a separate charge like this. If you want to add $$ onto the bill for 'living wage', can you at least up your prices so it doesn't seem like we're paying another fee? We did leave them a full 20% tip on top of the 5% but that really does seem excessive.

Yelp
We went for the Valentine's Day pre fixe menu. It was unbelievable! Every element of each course was so well thought out. I never had a bad bite. The sommelier was amazing and gave great info about each pairing. The wait staff was super attentive and friendly- I noticed that they all recognized diners who had been in previously. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
We went to celebrate my fiance getting into grad school and from the moment we walked in, we knew it would be a special night. They brought over a personalized card congratulating him and champagne which was incredibly thoughtful. We probably over ordered, but each dish was amazing in its own way, and I don't know what I would have taken off the list. Hard to beat the fried chicken though- apparently on Saturdays from 4-5 there's a fried chicken happy hour so we plan to check that out. Definitely a new top restaurant in the denver area.

Yelp
This is a beautiful little gem in downtown Old Town Arvada. We knew instantly walking by this was for us. We went in on a Friday night around 8:45 and were sat immediately. Everyone was wonderful and super helpful. The food was out of this world delicious and clearly crafted with love and care. We shared everything because it was all too good to pass up. I can't wait to come back out here and visit again.

Charles S.

Yelp
Phenomenal! Everything that we ordered was excellent! We started with the Parker Rolls, iceberg salad, foie gras, and mussels to share among the 4 of us. All were incredible! The salad was literally the best my wife had ever had. We had to order a second round of Parker rolls to soak up the mussels' sauce. Entrees were seared tuna, NY strip and an "off the menu" bison steak. All were delicious! Desserts are coming now!
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
That duck confit though! We had excellent service and our dishes came out in a well paced fashion since my husband and I ordered a full course. Favorites had to be the salad, fresh bread and obviously my duck confit. Desserts shined on their own since I typically don't love overly sweet things and our sundae and cheesecake were so well balanced. 10/5 stars!
google avatar

Casey P.

Yelp
This meal exceeded expectations dramatically. I was expecting a good meal, but didn't realize I was in for an upper tier Michelin star caliber meal. Every single plate blew us away. The foie gras was absolutely balanced, delicious, and unforgettable. Fried chicken was as good as the best I had in Louisiana. Every single dish was the absolute best of its kind. An absolute must visit.

Yelp
Solid place, especially for the area. Had a few glasses of wine, salad and desert. Definitely the most competent FOH team I've experienced outside of Denver, kudos to them, will be back for more!

Yelp
Glad to have finally tried Stone Cellar Bistro. Farm to Table with fresh ingredients--this is a restaurant worth knowing and returning for something else. As a walk-in on a weekend night, I was pleased to have gotten a table. Service was impeccable. While we had a primary server, the whole team made sure everything was perfect. Teamwork - kitchen and staff - this was a well run operation. A very good cocktail menu. I was intrigued by a mescal and sparkling rose -- glad I tried it. The fresh peas, with goat cheese and these wafer thin crackers were delicious and a taste of the season. Pan seared Alaskan Halibut, in peeled tomatoes, fennel and cucumbers mouthwateringly delicious, seasonal and shows the talents of an inspired, passionate and creative chef. I was impressed. The wine list is short, but good, with many by the glass. Most expensive wine bottles was $130, everything else was well below that. Overall a superb experience. Parking difficult in downtown Arvada, but you already knew that. btw, the name "Stone Cellar" perplexes me. I saw no stones while dining. The restaurant is at street level. I saw no doors leading to a cellar. Yes clearly they serve bistro food, with French influences and techniques. So one out of 3 is still perplexing.

Yelp
The hubs and I met up with friends for dinner. The restaurant is located in Olde Town Arvada which is a fun part of Arvada to visit and created a nice ambiance for the night. We started with Parker house rolls with the butter/brown butter combo. Our friends tasted Worcestershire sauce with the brown butter sprinkles and I thought it was good but not mind blowing. I enjoyed my roll mostly butter free. The roll itself was soft, fluffy and well done. For my main, I opted for the duck leg and vegetables in red curry. The duck confit was tender and packed full of flavor. I would have loved if the skin itself was crispy. The hubs got the venison loin and thought it was good. He thought the best bites were when the smoked celery root, mushroom, venison and gravy were all together. We finished with a decaf espresso and an amaro which was a nice ending to the meal. Service was efficient and professional.

Yelp
Excellent fine dining outpost in Olde Town Arvada. We met up with friends and shared several small plates, including the fried chicken, a beet salad, pork lettuce wraps, and the Parker House rolls. All were delicious! For me the highlight were actually the beets, which are served on a whipped Brie base and garnished with honeycomb and crunchy granola bits. Just so good! Most starters price out in the 15-20$ range, and 3-4 shared by two people would make a meal. We moved onto entrees, one featuring red snapper and the other beef short rib. Both were tasty but pricey and on a revisit I think I'd go with multiple shared small plates and move straight from those to dessert. Very attentive and helpful waitstaff, pleasant ambiance with low sound levels; just overall a great dining experience.

Yelp
Food - amazing! Good attention to detail when preparing your food. Delicious, cooked to perfection, the ingredients were fresh and, for the most part, local to the area. We started with the Sweet Peas (see picture). You can absolutely taste the freshness with this dish! Peas offered the perfect crunch. The preserved lemon was the perfect accoutrement, and you can never go wrong with Grateful Bread Focaccia crackers in a dish. For our entree, we ordered the Springer Mountain Farms Chicken Breast with Oyster Mushrooms - full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It was so good we just concentrated on eating and forgot to take a picture. While I cannot remember the actual name of their dessert, it was their version of a Cheesecake with a hint of Orange essence (see picture). It did not disappoint. It was smooth, not overly sweet, the perfect amount served, and highly satisfying. While Stone Cellar's atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and business casual, I assure you the food is anything but. This restaurant offers an upscale meal experience. You may want to bring your favorite credit card, but it's worth it. The only reason why I gave four stars versus five was the lack of interaction with the staff. While no one was rude, there is an air of hubris from the owner. Maybe it's just pride, confidence, or his mind was elsewhere; as an owner of an establishment interacting with your guests can go a long way. Perception is everything.

Yelp
Recently dined here and was extremely disappointed. I did the tasting menu and the timing for food and the wine pairing did not align. Food was over salted and lacking any real flavors. Descriptions did not match the food served, which can be an issue if you have food allergies. As for service, you will sit there without silverware, water, or anyone checking in on you. Drive the extra few minutes into Denver to enjoy true service and food worth the price.

Yelp
We went here for a celebratory dinner and had a great time. This location used to be home to "the worst Mexican restaurant" within three miles, or at least I thought so. Now it is an upscale place with a seasonal menu. Or, as they put it, "Menu Subject To Change Depending On Farm & Product Availability". We were mostly happy with our choices, but the prices were a tad high. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was fire. Try the Kat's Parker House Rolls Sweet Corn Butter & Peppermash. This appetite opener is way better than it has any right to be.

Yelp
Really love the ambiance of this place. The staff is amazing and the menu is changed daily to accommodate seasonal produce, which to me is really cool! Drinks: they have specialty cocktails, great beer & wine choices. Food: The bacon bread rolls are an absolute must!!! Perfectly cooked bread and flavor packed. The fried chicken was literally THE BEST chicken I've ever had. It was so dang flavorful and literally melted in your mouth like butter it was cooked perfectly. I was absolutely floored by the flavor. It was served with a side of home made potato chips that were good but I wasn't too impressed by the delicious chicken being served with chips. The steak was good. Prepared nicely, along with the seasonal veggies. It was good but didn't necessarily stand out like the fried chicken. Overall, it's a place worth trying! I will definitely be back to try more entrees.

Yelp
Second trip to Stone Cellar- the first visit was 5+ star food, service and welcoming atmosphere. We could not wait to return. This visit was very disappointing. The food was mediocre, service was weird- server not receptive and somewhat demeaning, hostess was not welcoming. Not sure if we will return.

Yelp
Unfortunately, need to re-review this place. Will never return and tell everyone I know not to go. The food is decent, our waiter, the hostess and sommelier were very nice and friendly. But this place adds a 5% "kitchen living wage" to your bill. Yes, they do put this in the fine print on the menu. But when you come in and are chatting with your spouse and having a nice evening on your anniversary, sometimes you forget to read the fine print. I know this is becoming more and more common in the restaurant world, and good talent is hard to find, but the restaurant needs to simply pay them more and go ahead and build the 5% into the menu prices to be more transparent. I would probably still eat there, but wouldn't feel like the establishment is being a bit shady. How much does it really cost to eat at your establishment? Just tell us straight up. And why did the kitchen need 5% of the expensive wine bottle I bought? AND.. we did the math, we were taxed on the 5% too! We took the 5% out of the tip and documented why on the bill. The waiter told the kitchen and two of the kitchen staff came out and tried to intimidate me and my husband. Even the manager after we brought it to her attention, recognized that they were acting like goons and asked them to go back into the kitchen.. which they didn't. These employees need to be fired. I will not be bullied or intimidated into tipping more. I am typically a 20% tipper and recognize how hard restaurant help works. Diners need to start standing up for themselves. The manager said the employees would not be fired. So... I guess this restaurant is ok with employees acting like part of Tony Sopranos thugs. There are too many options in Old Town now that will treat us nicely, and offer good food, we don't need to put up with this. We work hard for our money, and when we dine out we expect who we are handing our money to, works as hard as us, doesn't bully their way to it. Just simply start being more transparent and tell your diners what their meal will really cost them.

Yelp
Slightly upscale, great service and cocktails. Stopped in after dinner for dessert and cocktail. Fab cocktails and had the last of the summer's Palisade peaches roasted with a crumble and homemade ice cream.

Yelp
I thought the Chart House was overpriced for what you get but the Stone Cellar Bistro takes the cake and eats it too! Not only is it overpriced but first come first served does not apply here. Wait staff was very inattentive - even lost our drink order. Definitely not ready to be a prime time place.

Yelp
We showed up without a reservation but were able to get a seat at the bar. Really good food. The quality was excellent. Service was great. We didn't see a $$$ indicator on the Yelp listing so we're a little surprised by the price. It's high, but the food was worth it.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic, the food is about as fresh and as farm to table as you can get and you can tell with every bite. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. The food changes frequently based on the ingredients they are able to get so well worth it to take multiple trips here. My opinion would be to get a reservation as well cause it's farm to table it helps them keep a better idea of food to keep on hand. The place is quaint and small and exactly what you expect for this type of place. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent culinary addition to this community, Service excellent, overall establishment up there with the best! Congratulations

Yelp
Had dinner there tonight. The pork belly was exceptional. Seriously. We had peaches with prosciutto and the foie gras lollipop for appetizers. Cherry cheesecake and peach sorbet for dessert. It was all absolutely fantastic. Even the cornbread croutons in the accompanying salad were not anything you'd want to leave on the plate. Just terrific.

Yelp
Well, certainly don't miss this spot @stonecellarbistro if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Old Towne Arvada ! Reservations suggested it's not a big joint. Food is pricey but well worth the culinary point of view. Lots of thought went into these dishes. My husband enjoyed the hanger steak with an awesome sear, I had the chicken dish-um chicken so juicy and reimagined!! Fantastic!! Then my guy ordered the cinnamon bun-quite the experience! I must say. Enjoy!

Yelp
An absolutely fantastic experience all around. We sampled most things, including four of the smaller bites, two entrees and four desserts. The foie gras was exceptional, and the charred broccoli, and the beets (and I don't like beets haha) as well as the jaegerschnitzel. Entrees included the short rib (amazing) and the red snapper (also amazing). Desserts were all fantastic as well. Met the owners as well as our server Katia who was great. This is the best place we've been to in and around Denver. Highly recommend.
