The atmosphere is great, quiet and great smell of coffee. The food and drinks are great as well. It is a bit pricey, but worth it if you’d like to stay somewhere to read or study.

It’s been awhile since visiting this location - I had forgotten what a cool vibe and fantastic floor plan this particular Stone Creek Coffee has. Close to the train station, this location has the best seating, big fireplace with comfy sofa. This is such a fabulous location for working or bringing a book and sitting to read while enjoying their many coffee drink options. Keep in mind they don’t offer the full menu of food, but still a good selection of quick bites. Loved their iced mocha, raspberry danish and the almond monkey bread. We also tried the raspberry cold foam chai - really delicious. Metered street parking - you usually can find a spot pretty easily. Great little area for picking up merch. Really worth checking out this spot! We had forgotten how much we liked this particular location!

Google
Coffee was decent. The people who work here are sweet. No men when I went in, but no misandry either (not that I care because I'm actually a coffee god from another dimension). The place is HUGE. This is the kind of place where one could stretch out, do some work, play video games, and take drops from a guy named Geno or perhaps Biff.

Google
I got their iced coffee with oat milk and Splenda. It was a tasty drink. When you walk in there are steps. They also have an elevator. They have a couple of self order kiosks. Or you can order at the counter. They have a bunch of food options. Bakery and savory breakfast sandwiches. They also sell T-shirts, coffee mugs, and their coffee to go. This cafe is also right by the Greyhound station.

Keith Farmer

Google
Well worth the stop. Great coffee and food number one. But it’s also a fun place to sit around and talk with others. Lots of choices in beans and fun merchandise as well.

Rebecca Beyer

Google
Loved their cereal-inspired lattes. Really good coffee. Inside and outside seating. Friendly service and they seem to really care about more than just profit.

Google
Beautiful peaceful warm friendly. I wish I had a place like this to sip coffee at. Love the brick and real wood fireplace. So close to the Amtrak and Greyhound train station.

Google
It was a short 2 block walk from the Hilton...worth every step. I got a large coffee, sundried tomato, spinach and feta quiesh, and a raspberry cream cheese Danish. Was fantastic way to start the morning

Yelp
Local chain cafe in a unique location with tons of indoor and outdoor seating next to the train station in Milwaukee. I enjoyed a nice Oat milk chai latte and croissant because they have better options and a cuter vibe than what's offered in the station.

Yelp
Found this gem on a recent work trip. Truly one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been inside. Loved the variety of menu items, especially specialty latte flavors I don't often seen. (I got pistachio cardamom - so good!) They were sold out of the savory item I wanted, so I went with the ham/cheddar croissant -- a little slick, but tasty. I would have sat there all day and ordered even more if I had the time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great coffee spot downtown! Stone Creek is my favorite coffee in the city and while they have many locations around Milwaukee, this is the best one. It's the home of all their coffee roasting and is cozy and inviting. There is plenty of seating and tables where you can crack open your laptop or just lounge on. The exterior has the iconic cream city brick Inside you are greeted with a wood burning fireplace. The Learning Lab offers classes and tours on Sundays. They have a nice selection of bakery items to choose from too. The Intermodal train/bus station is next door so parking can be at a premium. Overall this is a great spot to get some work done or just hang out by the cozy fire while sipping on a delicious latte or matcha.

Yelp
Solid coffee shop situated perfectly by the Intermodal train station. Excellent place to grab some great coffee, snacks, and merch while waiting on your train or upon arriving in the city. I got a 16 oz drip and a scone for $8.40 and both were delicious. Great service and nice chill vibe.

Yelp
Stopped in to get some work done, perfect choice! The inside is so cute, typical Milwaukee rustic factory vibe. There is free WiFi for customers and plenty of seating with outlets and tables. Coffee was great too!

Yelp
We have been wanting to stop by Stone Creek for a long while and it just hasn't worked out. We finally made it work this visit and now we wish we had always gone. It's delicious! The location is convenient with plenty of street parking and the building is large, spacious with seating, clean, and welcoming. It gives off chic, urban, hipster vibes. We loved it! The moment we walked in the wait staff greeted us with warm welcome and were immediately helpful with all that we needed. Furthermore, prices are reasonable and the ingredients are top notch! We each got the black cold brew and loved the rich toasty flavor! I got the caprese stuffed bread (pretty much a savory danish) and my husband got the sausage and egg stuffed bread. We both loved our respective foods and ate so quickly that we didn't think to offer one another a bite. Whoops! We sat outside on the outdoor chairs/tables because we were sweaty from a Run. So this is an option open to folks! The outside isn't super scenic, but it's comfy, spacious, and gets the job done. We look forward to our next visit to MKE so that we can stop by Stone Creek again. It is delicious and a whole delightful experience!

Yelp
Stone Creek is easily my favorite local coffee chain in the Milwaukee area--and I've tried a lot of local coffee! They always have creative and specialty lattes, which is something I really value in a coffee shop. One of my favorite drinks I've ever gotten at Stone Creek is the iced pistachio cardamom latte. Give it a try! The Factory Cafe location in particular is a great spot for several reasons: It has tons of seating inside for working, and has pull-up parking spots you can use if you placed a mobile order and you just need to run in and grab your cup o'joe. It's got lots of art to appreciate, and tons of Stone Creek merch to sift through when you're waiting for your order. The mobile order system has me stopping by Stone Creek a lot. You just order in the app, and it'll be waiting on the coffee bar for you in about 10 minutes. Make sure to sign up for the rewards system, so you get the points every time!

Yelp
This is a great, spacious café in downtown Milwaukee! There's plenty of seating for anyone who needs to study including numerous outlets for laptop users. Everyone is really friendly too. I love stone Creek coffee and lattes, they never disappoint.
google avatar

Yelp
just the cutest coffee shop with an actual fireplace that really warmed up the place and made it so cozy!!!! and there's free street parking on saturdays so that's a win. really enjoyed the pistachio cardamom latte, ham and cheese croissant was mid. the ham and cheese stuffed bread was def better

Yelp
Rustic and accommodating place with joyful staff, big parking lot, vintage reformed mill, and a broad drink menu however limited to high fructose flavors from pumps, tried a basic latte which was decently brewed but still way too sweet, beans were not quite quality enough to make up for the basic sugar goo. I wish for house made syrups that are easier mixed and balanced with the java especially at the Starbucks prices.

Yelp
I love that the cafe is conveniently located a minute away from the train station. While waiting for the train, I popped over for a quick coffee. The inside is really pretty. Everything is decorated for the holiday season with trees and lights everywhere. There is a good amount of seating. Doors require a key attached to a small block of wood which I thought was interesting lol They released their early holiday flavors at the time and the Maple Ube Latte got my attention. I love Ube and I've never seen it combined with maple. It was a good flavor. I might prefer the two to be separated though. The vanilla latte tastes like a traditional latte. I am definitely curious to come back to try more special flavors!
google avatar

Yelp
The pastries were amazing! Good customer service and the ambiance is amazing. Super cute space.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped here on a whim and got a vanilla iced latte and pumpkin bread! Really good coffee and they had a cute spot to sit and look outside!
google avatar

Yelp
The horchata cold brew was good. I have had better tasting cold brew but it wasn't bad at all. The horchata flavoring was decent. As someone from San Diego, California, the horchata flavor was pretty close. I also got a blueberry muffin that I had higher hopes for. It was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. The service was nice. The barista and cashier were friendly and even though it was busy they didn't make me feel rushed. The place is super cute. I loved the cozy feel to the inside. Overall, a better experience and atmosphere you would get at any Dunkin or Starbucks.

Yelp
What a surprisingly lovely coffee shop. I met some people here to get some work done and the outside of the building is unassuming. Come inside and be transformed into a spacious, cozy, and unique cafe. Plenty of street parking, metered at $0.75/hour We grabbed a table right by the real and crackling fire. I got a black coffee, dark roast, and it was strong and delicious. My friends got a tea, a hot chocolate, and a baked good that I can't remember the name of but she said it was delicious. It certainly looked that way. Grab a quick drink while you're out and about or bring a book and stay awhile; this is a lovely MKE gem.

Yelp
A+ coffee, A+ lattes, A+ baked good, and a really good homey fireplace with comfortable seating to boot. My fiance and I have also done the espresso 101 class here and throughly enjoyed it, although be prepared to come out of the class slightly vibrating from all of the espresso samples. They taught us how to properly make a latte, and even some basic latte art, we had a blast and are looking forward to taking the advance latte art class sometime soon.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Stone Creek had pretty good coffee. We got a whole milk latte and oat milk latte and both were good. The ratio of espresso to milk was to my liking. We ordered at the front for takeout and got our coffee 5 minutes later. Next time I would like to spend some time inside because it was open and well lit. It would make a great space to work remotely or catch up with friends.

Yelp
A cozy gem of a coffee shop in Milwaukee. There is plenty of seating and a fireplace which is perfect now that we're headed into the coldest part of the year. Pastry/bakery selection is ample. Baristas were kind with quick service. Latte was smooth and flavorful. The perfect place to come with friends or alone to read/work. Definitely adding in to my coffee shop rotation!
google avatar

Tammy W.

Yelp
What a cute spot! I got an iced chai latte with soy milk, as it was later in the afternoon and didn't want too much caffeine. The barista was really friendly and the drink came out quickly. I loved the ambiance of the place - if I lived here I would definitely come often to work! It's close to the train station, so a great place to stop if you're coming in or leaving the city via train or bus. I'll definitely come back if I'm back in MKE!
google avatar

Morgan G.

Yelp
Such a wonderful place! Every time I visit Milwaukee, this is my place to go! Very aesthetically pleasing, super friendly staff, yummy drinks! The coffee is so smooth, I love it!
google avatar

Yelp
I've seen this place a couple of times walking by, so today I decided to check it out. It's incredible. There a training room, cute merch, work space, and helpful baristas. Very clean, great atmosphere, and smells like amazing coffee. I tried the Summer Spritz iced coffee, the barista said it has a cherry aperol coffee taste (sans alcohol), I've never heard of anything like that so I tried it. It wasn't as tart as he prepared me for, and it wasn't sweet but I loved that it wasn't too strong or bitter. It wasn't too creamy either...it was just right. I'd try it again. Next time I'm in town, I definitely want to try the frozen blended coffee, he said it's espresso and ice cream blended. I would also love to see the cool "COFF33" pin as a sticker, just an idea. Until next time!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Perfect place for doing work or hanging out! I really enjoyed the vibes here. There are lots of baked good to choose from and delicious coffee! Im always doing work on the weekends and I'm so glad to have found a place that's open a little later than other shops. The aesthetics are nice and the table spaces (with outlets) here make for a good study spot! Will definitely be back to study some more!

Yelp
I live on the lower east side of downtown milwaukee and wanted to take a longer walk to a new coffee spot. The Stone Creek Coffee-- Factory Cafe by the Amtrak station is a little less than 2 miles away and was perfect for this. The location is cozy and just so stinkin' cute. There are soooo many options for beverages and all of their food options look and sound delicious. My boyfriend and I got a sweet foam cold brew and a cardamom spice latte. We drank them too fast (too fast in a "we're sad they're gone and we don't have more" type of way), but that goes to show how tasty they were! This is the headquarters location and hosts classes on coffee. We didn't get to take advantage of it since we didn't know about it before arriving, but I'm interested in checking it out in the future. I'm excited to go back and to also visit other locations!
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
I feel pretty confident saying this is the coziest coffee shop in Milwaukee. With a wood burning fireplace and loft vibes, it's a great place for weary travels from the train station or students studying. The coffee and espresso is also some of the best in town. They offer treats and a few savory items as well, but all are pretty small and good for on the go
google avatar

Jana M.

Yelp
One thing that I enjoy about Milwaukee is its abundance of coffee shops. This is definitely at the top of my list right now. Once you step in, you get a strong whiff of fresh coffee that fills the room. The natural lighting that peaks in gives it a very comforting and clean feel. The staff was very friendly and the service was very fast. I ordered an Ice Lavender Latte and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Muffin. Both were very filling and delicious! Very pleased with my experience here :)
google avatar

Daniela B.

Yelp
This coffee shop is a friend's favorite, so while in the area (walking distance from the Amtrak station in downtown Mikwaukee) I had to check it out. I had a "Churro Latte" which was tasty and visually appealing. The service is very good, and I liked that they also have a local brand of kombucha that I like a lot. ( I had it on my second visit!). The place is huge and with a great rustic vibe; but, due to COVID, it is restricted right now so it's only grab-and-go. Hopefully in the future I'll get to take a tour, a class, and try its bakery. A great & very original coffee shop in the downtown area! Tip: Look in the box by the entrance, they give away (empty) coffee sacks.
google avatar

Rhonda K.

Yelp
Visited while in town for a concert. Now I am a fan for life. I special order the coffee for delivery at home. It is sooo good.
google avatar

Lilia D.

Yelp
I'm so glad I came across this coffeeshop. I was about to drive back home after a trip in MKE and needed caffeine, but didn't want to go to a Starbucks. I saw this place had great reviews and it looked like it was somewhere where I could just grab some coffee and go. I wish I had more time to hang around because the location is so warm and spacious. It looks like a great place to hang out or study. I had the Lavender Latte, and it was delightful. I usually am skeptical of lavender because it can easily start tasting like a scented candle, but this one was so good. And the employees look like they enjoy their work and are super friendly. Parking is a bit complicated, but there's metered parking out front.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
I very well may end up reviewing all of the Stone Creek Coffee locations in the city! Just a testament to how much I love their stores and their products :) This is the largest location, home of their offices from what I understand. Located downtown just across from the train station, it's at the epicenter of traffic all day long. I'll admit, parking can be a struggle here. That being said, it never seems to deter me! The staff here is genuinely so friendly, and the interior of the place is very charming and rustic. On this cold winter day, their fire place area is extra appreciated! My friend and I spent the morning posted up at one of the larger tables on the first level to sip coffee, tea, snack on bakery items, and get some work done. Fair warning, there tends to be a few people passing through asking for money from time to time - I'd say that's what you get with the location. However, certainly not something to affect my review as the it isn't a reflection of the business itself. I'll continue to be a returning customer, enjoying their matcha and snacks!

Yelp
I was looking for a nearby coffee roaster that I could drop by to get some caffeine before heading to a full day of conference talks, and Stone Creek Coffee popped up. For the duration of my stay for the conference, I ordered (all with oat milk) bergamot latte, pistachio cardamom latte, and caramel apple latte. My favorite was the bergamot latte, followed closely with the pistachio cardamom latte (I love bergamot and cardamom tastes). The bergamot latte had a clean fresh latte taste; I felt like I could drink this all day, but would probably have to switch to decaf starting around lunchtime or else I won't get any sleep. The pistachio cardamom latte gave me nutty autumn spiced vibes without the pumpkin (Yay! Something different!). The caramel apple latte reminded me of childhood with the caramel apple lollipops, but in coffee form; great for adults on Halloween to keep up with the trick or treating kids! None of the drinks I ordered had a burnt coffee taste (unlike a big chain store with a green logo that shall not be named). In fact, I enjoyed their coffee so much, I picked up some bags of coffee to bring home and to share with my friends (we do coffee exchanges when we travel or find something unique/tasty from our local roasters). I also love that you can see their roaster through some of the doors and they do coffee classes and coffee cupping at this location. They're big into educating what goes into good coffee and I'm all for that!
google avatar

Melanie V.

Yelp
This by far is the nicest cafe I've ever been to. Staff is extremely friendly, lots of space, tables, couches to sit at, and even a fireplace. Lattes were delicious! Didn't get a chance to try their baked goods since they were all out by the time I came in but that's always a good sign. This is a great spot to check out!
google avatar

Yelp
Omg, omg, omg. My travel recommendations for anyone traveling through Wisconsin have now changed. For ANYONE traveling through Wisconsin - namely, catching a train at Milwaukee Intermodal Station - needs to visit the Stone Creek Coffee shop just across the street. We had a bus from Madison to Milwaukee and had 1 hour layover before catching our train to Chicago, and this was the perfect place to recharge, grab a drink, and sit on a verrrry comfy couch. Drinks were delicious - so much so that we just had to purchase a bag of whole bean to take with us. The barista who helped us, Radar, was wonderful and so welcoming. Never been so happy to have a layover before my train! I will be back!
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
The best pumpkin spice latte of all time! Period. Great location and great staff working here. I have literally drove from Madison to Milwaukee for this coffee, it's that darn good! Also, bought this great green shirt my girlfriend spotted as they have great swag in the place too! Next time I am in Milwaukee I will make and effort to try their traditional espresso drinks.

Yelp
Cute, educational, delicious. Plus a good spot and an interesting crowd. What more do you need from a coffee spot.
google avatar

Shirley P.

Yelp
My partner and I came here for breakfast this snowy morning. I found this place due to its proximity to the Milwaukee Intermodal Station (it's right across the street), we had some time before our Amtrak train arrived, and it's a cute coffee shop that sells merchandise and pastries as well. I ordered a 16 oz. cup of mocha latte and an aged cheddar bagel (they even sliced it for me, which I can appreciate). My partner did the baked hot ham and bacon bun and a 8 oz. cup of white chocolate mocha latte. We grabbed everything to-go since it was approaching boarding time, but we were still able to enjoy our food before we got on the train back to Chicago. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I'd recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the area looking for coffee and pastries.
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
Wish they had 6 stars. Beautiful huge coffee bar and tasting lab. Awesome coffee and relaxing study work spot. In town for Green Bay game and so impressed by Milwaukee coffee scene. If I had this spot in Houston I'd never leave. The fireplace wouldn't get much use though.
google avatar

Chuck B.

Yelp
Coffee was great. Food was great. Great space as well. Person at the counter was friendly, so no issues with that. Unfortunately, another staff member was surprisingly rude. We were seated at a spot that certainly seemed like a place to sit - a counter with chairs at it, no signs saying anything otherwise. Staff member told us, you need to leave - this is for employees only. Of course as soon as we left, somebody else sat there because it certainly seemed like a valid place to sit. Staff member then shooed her away too. Everything else was great, but that interaction kinda ruined it.
google avatar

Nikita B.

Yelp
Got their cardamom latte! I enjoy the flavor of cardamom in savory dishes and so I decided to give this sweet coffee latte a shot. Enjoyed it thoroughly! Very interesting flavor profile!

Yelp
I love Stone Creek Coffee and I particularly love this location. Why? The building is all vintage charming and the baristas are lovely in every way. Stone Creek makes great coffee and espresso in addition to making creatively fun espresso beverages. We went in today and they were featuring a Churro latte, which my husband ordered (and I had a couple sips of) and it was all cinnamon-tastic goodness. There's really nothing much better than sitting by a wood burning fireplace with a cup steaming cinnamon goodness while snow flurries outside. Truly. It makes my heart happy. As I mentioned the baristas are lovely. The person who rang us up asked if we'd like any recommendations (so nice!) and our barista literally asked if I'd like her to re-pour my coffee as she didn't feel the latte art was as lovely as she'd like it to be (it was fine). Such service! I've also had business meetings here and it's a lovely location for that as well (plenty of quiet spots to sit and discuss). Oh...and their quiches are amazing. Most recently, I got their leek and goat cheese quiche and it was all savory, goat cheesy deliciousness. Get to it!

Julia J.

Yelp
Truly a wonderful coffee shop. I'm not a coffee fiend, but all of the coffee and food sold here is sooo good. All the bread pastries are AMAZING, and the frozen vanilla bean latte is one of the best coffees I've ever had. Easily my most favorite coffee spot to bring friends to chat or to just do some studying. The ambiance is so cute, its calm but never empty. The baristas who work here are also all so funny and nice, when you wait for the coffee they will chat it up with you if they aren't busy. it's more then 5 stars, anyone in the area should check this out. 10/10!!!
google avatar

Carri N.

Yelp
Housing a coffee bar, bakery and a learning lab and lots of nooks and seating areas for folks visiting this establishment. Baristas were very helpful with suggestions. The coffee was top notch! Bakery items looked devine. The gift store area boasted a good selection of take home and gift items.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
The space is very large and was perfect for getting some work done while waiting on the Amtrak next door. I liked how they had savory options in addition to just sweets which not all coffee shops have. Their buffalo chicken pastry was good and their pistachio/cardamom scone was also tasty and fresh. The service was fast and friendly too!
google avatar

Nic D.

Yelp
I used to live at The Buckler which was right around the corner from this Stone Creek. I miss being so close! Always gpositive experiences here. The drinks are tasty and a come with a delightful presentations. The bagels are real yummy! Any version of the latte is my go too - matcha tea is a fav.
google avatar

Rocio S.

Yelp
Get the white mocha or the mocha or the cardamom latte. Or anything else because the coffee here is top tier. Best coffee we had all trip
google avatar

Chadrick J.

Yelp
Great coffee shop on a slightly obscure end of town but just a perfect little spot to stop in and chillax before our Amtrak departure. Parking across the street the meters are up to 5-hour meters and if you have the Park Mobile app it makes it very easy to park, get in, drink mud and lounge all fireside while awaiting whatever it is you have to do on that side of the world. The interior is cozy and begs you to take your laptop out and get to surfing, working or whatever it is you do, all while sipping on some coffee. Free Wi-Fi for paying customers and lots of space to choose from to sit. Whether you stay downstairs or venture upstairs there are plenty of areas to choose from to setup shop. I would stop in here any time before taking the train or bus out of Milwaukee. Just a solid coffee shop all around.

Dennis T.

Yelp
Kind of an odd coffee shop, cool vibes, laid-back place to start your morning . Do not come in there in a hurry, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get coffee. I'm not quite sure if the latte is worth 10 bucks, but it is pretty good and they put a little milk froth art on the top

Sara R.

Yelp
My favorite MKE coffee joint. Great and friendly humans working there. Yummy breakfast treats. Perfect coffee.

Yelp
On a quick Amtrak trip to Milwaukee from Chicago, a Google search led me here. I've seen this place on every trip and knew they were a coffee roaster, but never knew they had a coffee shop inside too. I had the Toasted Marshmallow Hot Latte. So good. The vibe is relaxed and it's just a nice place, with friendly staff. I enjoyed it so much I stopped back for another latte before my trip back home.
