The Seattle Karaoke Guide

"There are moments when it’s appropriate to gyrate on stage coated with a thin film of sticky beer and rap “Baby Got Back.” And then, there are moments when you need to plan a team-building night for your coworkers. Stone Lounge in Bellevue is a sleek space that works well for a sensible evening sipping wine and whisper-singing some Enya in a private room or out in the main bar area. The food here isn’t spectacular, so fuel up with chargrilled cheeseburgers at Broiler Bay first." - aimee rizzo

We had a great networking party with the Puget Sound PMI and everyone we hosted was super impressed by the vibe, food & drink, and the service! Thanks Jason, Taylor, and Mike for taking care of us! We’re definitely doing more events here again.

I had a small private party and Josh was very helpful and gracious host. Drinks and music were wonderful!

What a fun night! My friend and I booked a karaoke room to celebrate her birthday. I made the arrangements through Josh who was so responsive! When we showed up, Josh greeted us and made some fabulous (and creative) cocktails. He gave us a tour and showed us to our room. My friend and I are not great with technology and Josh was so patient and encouraging to us. He checked in on us a few times. We had the best night and can't wait to return.

Very nice spot! It's clean, it's comfortable! And most of it's not ghetto! Was one of the nicest places I've seen and japanese inspired places I've ever been to! I've never seen a place like that in real life! Only NHK! Went for a private event so we didn't use the small private rooms but it looks very nice and we'll kept! Staff is very attentive, perhaps to much but I understand they love their building as well. Hey maybe now that you see I'm not a weirdo you don't have to follow me around your venue! I'm a photographer not a crack head thank you🥂

Great karaoke 🎤 please, nice bar, private karaoke for rent, great for groups, and great services and staff.

Google
Awesome place. Bartenders are very enthusiastic about their craft. Trust them. Let them make your drink. They made my sisters birthday extra special. Big bar space and common area. Many private rooms of all sizes for all party sizes. Great location. Large parking lot for free parking. Main strip, easy uber access. The song selection could be better but we had a blast for hours!

Google
Terrible service! The bartender was not busy but would not take my order because I was standing too far away from him in the middle of the bar. He actually said we had to come to him to order. When I ordered from a waitress it took about 45 minutes to get one drink and a hamburger. The food arrived cold and the drinks were terrible. I can't remember the last time I had such a bad experience at a lounge/restaurant. I went on a Friday night and I would expect them to have competent staff. The karaoke room was kind of cool but not worth the frustration of dealing with the staff. Also, they did not have red wine, cranberry juice or the correct buns for one of their sandwiches. It was really bad.

Google
Incredible lounge and karaoke bar! The owner is friendly and prides himself on customer service. The karaoke rooms are beautiful and they have an endless selections of songs. They have a large parking lot for easy parking and the location is great (right in Downtown Bellevue!). This can be the perfect venue for your big celebrations or a night out with friends!

Yelp
Fun place to rent a room and karaoke with your buddies. Great selection of English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean songs but with some odd omissions. The song choice interface can use some work and is a bit clunky. It is a bit pricier so make sure you have a large group to split the costs.

Yelp
They have nice rooms that are very comfy and cool looking. Def. enjoy the private room experience. Their song selection can be better.... They have mostly the popular stuff you hear on the radio but lacked show tunes (broadway shows), 90's were a bit lacking. Their search system on the machine was a little funky to work with but you can get used to it - we still messed up on some of the "next" vs. "skip until later" functions. Oh and some of the videos wouldn't work on the large TV and only worked on the small screen at the machine so that was a annoying. And you didn't know how it was going to come out until it came on. Not my fav. private karaoke rooms but it was worth a try once.

Yelp
The husband of mine loves karoke, especially with private rooms. I was excited to find this place online and decided to have his birthday here this year.  I understand fellow reviewer complaints about getting in touch with the business..It is incredibly difficult. You can call, email, send notifications via their website, and Facebook, nothing. I started weeks in advance calling every day, and just by luck, someone answered once as if it was a personal phone and without a business greeting.  I do give them credit for flexibility. We were running late at dinner, and they had no problem pushing the reservation back (I physically walked over to them because no one answered the phone). Once we arrived we were shown right away to our room which had a nice screen and seating.  The bar was down the hall, and they informed me we had to go get drinks. There's no service to the rooms. Their website also says they have food, but they didn't. The bartender was really nice, but drinks were not great.  The room was nice, and the system was intuitive enough to figure out. They didn't have a lot of modern songs, and many of the songs were knock-off versions without proper lyrics and without the music even being right.  In sum, it's a really great location and setup. The structure is perfect, but the actual business has some issues. I was at least happy that the cost was not ridiculously considering everything. I actually thought the room rental fee was quite reasonable.

Yelp
This place got worse since pre pandemic. It's one of the couple options on the east side. There was no parking in the parking lot partly because there was a semi truck taking 1/4th of the spots and also a concert in the main area of the bar. The service is terrible. The servers are nice enough but they must be understaffed. We pressed the call button 5 times and no one ever came. Someone came only once when we went out to the bar to get drinks and they delivered the drinks. The touchscreen for picking songs doesn't work well, there's a limit in songs, it's hard to find anything and it's not easy to use. You can't adjust the volume nor the singing assistance. It's really loud music, the mics are really soft so you can't hear your singing unless you shout, and you don't get any singing assistance if you want it. The only good thing about this place is that the videos match the songs. The last time I went before the pandemic the service was better and you could actually get some food even though mediocre. For 2.5 hours we paid $154 for a small room and that doesn't include drinks. Don't come here!

Yelp
First time going to this venue for live music. It was odd, to say the least. Cash entry at door, cash bar... with plastic cups. For Bellevue, I expected more. Overall, the venue has a nice atmosphere. Because it's smaller, the music is deafening. But the band we went to see was SO GOOD! We attempted to order a few drinks. We got one because for some reason we thought the bartender heard our second drink when we ordered the first one. But when we asked twice for it and never got it, we just decided never mind. I give it 3 stars, based solely on the venue not for the band that played as they were amazing. 3 stars is being generous when I'd like to give maybe 2.5. Wasn't very well put together.

Yelp
This place can be fun if you want to go down memory lane with the songs, but be prepared for 80s and 90s throwbacks and maybe some early 2000. The rooms are nice and comfortable with big screens, however the service basically doesn't exist. We arrived at 7 as a group and initially thought we'd order some things for dinner, but when we asked we were told there was no staff for the kitchen so we could order in via Uber eats. Then for drinks they had a limited selection (literally one bottle of wine, some beer, and vodka) which pushed us to get bottle service with the vodka. The drinks were key to getting up the liquid courage to sing and worked well. All in all, seems poorly managed but has some potential.

Yelp
We reserved their biggest room for a Saturday night and they did not have the room ready. This was reserved for 8:30 pm (we did get there about 10 min late - confirmed via Lyft receipt because the server stated we were late). We called twice that week to confirm if the room would be available and then prior to the reservation to ensure that we could bring a cake. The server said the room was in process. He also told our guests who arrived earlier that they were trying to give the room to someone else (???) and did not seat them in the room. I asked why the room wasn't ready after 15 minutes and then was told I was being rude. I had seen several empty rooms. He asked for a card and I went to grab my card and then was ignoring me as I tried to give it to him. I asked for his name and wasn't given. Ruined our night and we all left because it was such an unprofessional and awkward experience. I was hesitant to recommend booking here due to the bad reviews, but took a chance because they have bigger rooms. Would not recommend. Very rude service. TLDR: tried to give our room to someone else, room was not ready on time but there were several empty rooms, then started threaten to not serve us. Also found out his name was josh and then the machine wasn't working so my friends venmoed him but he asked for a card earlier???

Yelp
Went there for my 24th Birthday! The owner was great! Moved us to a bigger room when our mics were having issues, brought us a couple free drinks, and even gave me a party hat! We had the best time!

Yelp
Some friends and I went here for karaoke and We had best time imaginable. You get your own room which is spacious and has a light up table and a disco ball, the karaoke you can change to have the background music higher or lower (which is amazing because not everyone wants to just sing without the song playing). They also have food and drinks. We ordered a couple flatbreads for everyone and then a couple of my friends got tequila shots and the party just started. I want to give a big shout out to our host Mike, he was beyond amazing with everything. We got waters right away, we got our food and drinks in a timely manner, and he cater to any question/need that we had. I want to thank him for making our night extra special and I can't wait to return!

Yelp
I was here and watched a mini rock concert. Cute place to hang out with friends and do some karaoke. A bottle of beer for $8 tho. Maybe bc they're having a mini concert, don't know. I was like damnnn. Giving 4 stars bc of that.

Yelp
Stone moved, the new place is nice. The karaoke rooms here are comfortable and expensive. Not worth it. Lights didn't function, no soju or deals for the rooms who wanted to drink. No controls for audio/mic. No functioning lights. Well, some rooms did, but not ours.

Yelp
I've been here once before in the summer, and thought it was fun. They have nice private karaoke rooms and food service. So I thought it would be a great idea to bring my best friend here for her birthday since she loves to karaoke. I called over a week in advance to book a small room for a Saturday at 4pm for two hours (I mentioned I had a Groupon that I had purchased for two hours). My friends and I walk into the place a few minutes after 4 and told the lady working there that we had a room reserved for 4. She said the host is getting the rooms all ready and to just hang out and wait, and that the guy host will come out and get us. We sat out in the lounge waiting. The place was not busy at all at that time, except there was a kids birthday party starting at that time because lots of kids were walking in for the next 30 minutes. Well, after 30 minutes of waiting, we asked the lady/bartender we had talked to earlier how much longer we had to wait for our room. She said she had already talked to the host and he was still busy with the rooms and will get to us soon. Another 15 minutes goes by (45 minutes from our reservation time), we ask the lady again, and she said that there is only one host, and they have a huge kids party, and that it is busy, and that they have a lot of drink orders to get for all the kids. And that he will get to us when he can. Obviously this kids party was booked in advance, so they should have been prepared, and knew that it would be busy. After an hour of waiting, we were contemplating on whether we should just leave, since we already wasted an hour sitting there while we could have been doing something else for my friend's birthday. So, we ask the guy host when he walked out if our room is ready yet, or else we would just leave, The host tells us that our room was ready the whole time since 4; he did not know we had a reservation, and did not even know we were waiting for a room. He thought we were just sitting around and hanging out. We told him we had told the bartender lady in the beginning that we had a reservation at 4, but I guess she never really told him. He said she was new, but that's not an excuse for the bad communication. I do not want to drag this review on, so... -the huge kids party kept the host so busy, he could barely come check on us to take any food orders -they were out of chips and salsa, out of the sweet potato tots that I've been wanting to try before I even got there, and they do not make any bloody marys, which the birthday girl had hoped for -when we did order a couple of drinks and fries, it took a very long time -and we were kicked out of the room after an hour, even though I had booked for two hours So, the host had told us we could stay for two hours when we got into the room, even though we were given the room an hour late. But then, there was a party who had reserved the room at 6, and the empty room he would have moved us to, was given to another party. He did comp us for for our two non-alcoholic drinks and fries and the room, but we still had to pay tax and gratuity on fries and drinks (that we finally got after being kicked out of the room) and for two hours of room time (even though we only got one hour). Yes, I did not have to redeem my Groupon, but, no, I do not want to keep it because I will not be needing it. I hope I can get a refund from Groupon.

Yelp
I went to Stone to grab a drink... not to karaoke. They bar was empty, and service was still poor! I appreciate when wait staff give time and space, but really - when the drink glasses are empty, it's time to swing by and ask if a customer needs something. Perhaps if we were in a karaoke room it would have been better? I don't know... and probably won't be back to find out. In relation to what we ordered - red wine options are okay, beer is only in bottles, flatbread is average.

Yelp
I wanted to sing K-POP song but it was complicated to search songs what I like to sing on screen and there is very limited song list . It would be more convenient with Book of song titles with numbers for remote. Room is $20 per hour and I saw many groups of enjoying people in the others room. And I wanna try to order some food next time cause it looks so good.

Yelp
We decided to celebrate our friends' engagement with a little karaoke. I bought a Groupon and made a reservation for our party of six in their smallest room. We arrived a little before our schedule time and watched as an employee placed velvet ropes at the door. Who knew that a bar would get so hopping on a Sunday afternoon. We entered the restaurant and were shown to the room by a server. She explained the system to us and left us with one-sheet paper menus, apologising because they were in the middle of printing. She said she would return to get our drink order but would bring us water while we looked the menu over. The room had a comfortable U-shaped sectional and was adequately sized for six people. There were only a pair of corded microphones that were a pain to maneuver over and across and around the water glasses on the central table. The other major design flaw was the monitor's placement on a stationary stand at the end of the sofa. The monitor and stand were all the way at the end of the room with room for only one person to sit there and enter in choices. We thought that we'd rotate but it became such a pain in the ass that the job ended up falling between two people, myself and my husband. Our server returned with water and said she'd be back to get a drink order. She never returned during our two-hour time slot and in fact, one of our friends went to the bar for a drink when it wasn't his turn to sing. We weren't bothered by this at the time because we were having fun. After a couple of hours, we realised that we went over our reserved time. We rang the room service buzzer and a different server responded to our close out request. She told us that there was a $7 food/drink charge per person for the rooms. I informed her that we were not told this and after an awkward silence, she said she wouldn't charge us. She instructed us to go to the bar to cash out. Our original server rang us up without the Groupon and then amended the bill which came to $46.07. There was an automatic gratuity charged on top of our room fee. NOWHERE on Stone's site do they list a per person minimum nor a mandatory group gratuity. I double checked the Groupon's fine print as well as each page of Stone's site. Had we known about the per person drink/food minimum, we would have ordered drinks but to be charged a gratuity for literally no service feels insulting. I was tired and didn't have the energy to deal with either server, I just wanted to leave. I will not be returning and neither will any of our friends. I informed Groupon of our experience and plan to also send them to their manager.

Yelp
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Stone Lounge is THE greatest (new) Hot Spot! I went there tonight to check it out for a band party-spot /scene and was so WoW'ed by the sophistication, the vibe, the music playlist. Josh, the very hip bartender, has that great generous, classic listen-to-your-story attitude -- not in your face, knows how to make a Smokin' great drink. 'Just a helluva nice guy if you want to push away from your desk, have a drink and scroll through your social media (me!); or bring your friends in for a gossip catch-up (everyone else!) Noshing? I had the Gorgonzola, Avacado, paper-thin pear, Cilantro, salted flat bread hot out of the oven - 5-star - Yummy! Eastside! Maybe it's time to try Stone Lounge out -- all over again. (Verified Buyer ;)

Yelp
We were going to come here to do karaoke but realized it wasn't our scene. From the bouncers at the door checking ID's at the red velvet ropes to being able to hear someone singing while still in the parking lot, we decided to go elsewhere. Didn't realize this is a club or that they want that atmosphere. Totally looks like a small restaurant from outside with an even smaller parking lot. When we looked up the place on their website, we didn't get that vibe either. The first time we called, the phone went to a voicemail message stating that the voicemail hadn't been set up yet and hung up on us. My husband called back two more times before he got a human. They post that it's $35 an hour plus $7 per person food/drink minimum for a small karaoke room.

Yelp
The rooms are very spacious and grand, along with bar in the main area that you can wait, drink, and sing before you get into the private rooms. There many selections of songs to choose from, with many languages as well. It offers great selections of music videos. However, when it comes to service, it's a bit slow. Sometimes you ask for water or a drink, and it will be a while till it gets to you. There are some units in the room in which the service console/tablet is not working, and you have to use a service bell buzzer near the music selection console. The staff are very nice, welcoming and accommodating.

Yelp
Pretty! Aesthetically, I was impressed walking in. Modern and sharp, complete with a deadpan humored bartender. We sidled up to the bar while we waited for the rest of the bards to show up. Looking at their menu, I noticed that their hours are really good (open for lunch and open until 2am.) The HH is long (4pm - 7pm) and have a decent variety of HH food too (chicken skewers, garlic parmesan fries, wings, flatbread pizzas etc.) This is where things start to be really good or really bad: The rooms are long and skinny for a 15-person room, which is good! We all can see the screen, and there was plenty of seating. The screen was hi-def -- great quality. That's when we saw it: the stationary stand where you enter your music choices. It's alllll the way at the end of the room and allows only ONE person to sit and select songs at a time. Awkward for everybody. And whoever designed the UI for the song selection software itself... wow. There wasn't any thinking of "U" or "I" when it was made, that's for sure. Then there were the microphones. They were on wires (remember how long that room is?) and if somebody left a mic on, the reverb sound was intense. BUT, daaaaang many of the popular songs they did have had the actual music video that goes with the song -- with pretty accurate lyrics. Like Rock Box, Stone Lounge has Asian songs as well, but RB offers a better selection of music overall, regardless of language. Service in the room was really good; the cocktails themselves ehhhhh not so much. I'd avoid the cocktails (I had to send the Old Fashioned back and the Manhattan... well, it was only $5...) I'd go again, though! Warn your people that only one person at a time can enter their songs, or you can unofficially elect a friend to be the KJ like we did.

Yelp
This review is for food only as we wanted to check the place out first before going to Karoake. Seems like I had the same trouble as others who also purchased a Groupon... First time we tried to come for lunch, we were told we could use our Groupon over the phone and then turns out the kitchen was closed from a certain time after lunch (I think we were there around 2pm?). Second time was today. The place was completely empty during lunch time. Luckily we asked first before we ordered and we were told that we could only use the 4 person Groupon with 4 ppl and not 2 but that they would let it slide this time. Drinks and HH items are not included in the Groupon, which they did not state on the fine print. The food took 30+ minutes to come out even though we had ordered a few items off the appetizers list so thought those would come out early. Food was just okay, the burger was very good however the rest was not worth the price. The duck noodle soup was savory but a little too salty. We got both the pork and duck sliders and also the pork over rice (Lu rou fan). The pork over rice seemed to be just chunks of pork with soy sauce dumped over the rice, the recipe I use at home even beats this! I would go to Facing East across the street any day for same type of food and save a few bucks at that. Oddest part was when the chef came out to check on the meal which at first I thought was nice. However he kept pressuring us for feedback when we just wanted to eat and were starving since the food took awhile to come out. When we finally politely got rid of him, he then came back again shortly after and then *touched with his bare hands* our rice and bao dish to say that they felt cold and he would reheat them!!!! Luckily the server came to our rescue and apologized profusely. She refunded that portion of our check, gave us 20% off coupons and then told us to use our Groupon at a different time. I suppose I could give this another try, or at least see what the karaoke is like but I'm not going to venture much outside of the box besides the burgers. Seems like if this place was marketed better or provided better service they would have more customers. It's in a prime location and I bet a lot of ppl would come for food and HH if there was a better service, pricing and tastier dishes.

Yelp
This was my very first time visiting this place and my friends and I LOVED it!! We did a Valentine's Day themed party last night and it was amazing. Our lovely server was Josh, his service was top tier for having to hassle a loud group of 12 teenagers. Since we all can't seem to stop talking about it, we plan on making the next two birthdays in our group at this place! Thank you for the amazing service Josh!! We love you!

Yelp
Credit given where credit is due. While I'm not a karaoke guy (trust me, my singing voice isn't meant for the masses) I am a huge fan of happy hour and Stone has one of the better ones around. I'm always a fan of happy hours that extend until 7pm and they are becoming harder and harder to find. Stone is there for me though and their selection of tasty snacks and drinks are available to comfort me after a long day at the office. An impressive variety of small plates, flatbreads and burgers are available on happy hour, with nothing costing more than $7. (Caveat; the only exception is their Wagyu burger [voted best in Bellevue] which will set you back $9). Drink menu is expansive no matter if you want signature cocktails, wells, wine or beer. My experience with the staff; specifically Phoenix, Lindsey and Ruby trumped (see what I did there?) the food and drinks. All three were courteous, friendly and attentive. While Stone is off the beaten path from the normal happy hour circle of The Bellevue Collection, it's a breath of fresh air and needs to be added as a staple to your happy hour rotation.

Yelp
A group of us began to desperately search for a fun venue after our Christmas party was a flop. It was a quick phone call and we had reservations for a mid size private room with wonderful customer service by the staff on that night. We did have an individual under 21, so it was ideal that they allowed her into the karaoke room, and the members of our party that wanted to drink simply filtered out into the lounge area to enjoy thier alcoholic beverages. I can not stress enough how off the cuff and last minute our plans were, but the staff at the Stong Lounge in Bellevue not only accommodated us, but they facilitated a win for our entire group with a celebratory night of food, awful karaoke (thier systems were excellent, we just have about 10% vocal talent between ALL of us) and delicious beverages. The bartender was even suggesting delicious drinks for those in our group that went to the bar with .. "I don't know, make me something fruity!" Absolutely we will be returning. Pricing was decent, especially for Bellevue. There is a different room rate depending on size of the room and depending on the day of the week. I would HIGHLY reccomended them for any group events.

Yelp
Best place for your next party! We reserved a private room and had a BLAST! The karaoke selection computer is so cool - it's a giant touch pad. Giant padded microphones make you feel like a star. Food and drinks are terrific. Loved the avocado bruschetta the best. Hai and Michael were ROCK STARS. GREAT customer service. They made us feel so welcome and fixed any problems we had and kept the excellent drinks and food coming. I highly recommend Stone Lounge. Karaoke is the best and this is the best place for it!

Yelp
TDLR: I probably won't be back. My friends and I came here because we had a Groupon coupon. We ordered four burgers. The food was pretty good, but the service made me not want to be there. We went around 2pm on a Saturday and when we went in it was empty. The server saw us come in, but didn't approach us so we were awkwardly waiting until the waiter asked "Uh can I help you" so rudely that I thought maybe we walked in when it was closed. I asked him if they were open and he replies "I mean I'm in here aren't I?" Got seated, he never filled our waters, and gave us so much unnecessary attitude until it was time to pay him. Not to mention he was watching TV on one of the couches the whole time.

Yelp
"Enigmatic" is the word I choose for this very interesting karaoke-themed Bellevue locale. With a long (4pm-7pm) 7-day/week happy hour, this restaurant truly has something for everyone. First, you must know that you are not going to walk into this bar and be slapped in the face by a horrific rendition of a 1983 Def Leppard tune. The bulk of karaoke action happens in the many private rooms that extend into the rear space of the restaurant, all of which have microphones, HD TV's, and leather couches that make Stone a premier location for singing parties in the Seattle area. The only times to beware are Monday thru Wednesday after 9pm when karaoke action is featured in the main bar. And let's be honest, this can sometimes be very entertaining even if you yourself do not take the stage. The remaining happy hour space here is fantastic, with 55" HD screens showing local or national sports, excellently valued cocktail and wine specials, and tasty appetizers. The service is ebullient and excellent; clearly the management favors personality, as do I. Weekend nights tend to be busy and eclectic, which is the kind of thing I look for and expect in downtown Bellevue. Try the food, try the drinks, try the atmosphere. I doubt you will be disappointed. And if karaoke is your thing, you will be blown away!! 4.25 stars for now, reserving room for future great experiences. Fave bartender: Phoenix. You go girl!

Yelp
For private room karaoke, this place is pretty dope. The machines can be tricky to find a simple song, but browsing through male or female artist; you'll stumble across something sooner or later. There is a food minimum per person, so that's where they get ya. So a easy night out can run up a high bill if you're not careful. Spilt the bill! I'd go again, when I get my tax return.

Yelp
Have been trying for over 2 weeks to schedule a party for early June. Phone only goes to voicemail of which they tell you to Send an email.. Then when you email they only respond for you to leave your name and number of which Then no one calls. There's no confirmation and no one to get in touch with about planning the event or details surrounding it.... I Even went in in person and left My name and number with the bartender to which no one responded. Super unprofessional to be ghosting possible business opportunities but now I guess the previous bad reviews left on here make sense So there's always that... Just decided to take my business elsewhere But still in shock that any business would just simply ghost people rather than reply with possibly not being available.

Yelp
Drinks here are so amazing, friendly server. Really really comfortable environment. Love it. Recently they added the karaoke box here. It's so freaking cool!

Yelp
I was a little skeptical about booking a room here for my birthday. The reviews over the years have been a little mixed. I'm happy to say my personal experience here was amazing. The servers were professional and the timeliness of service was excellent. They have happy hour daily between 4-7pm, including weekends! The food here is surprisingly delicious. I got a wagyu beef burger with a side of fries along with a Moscow mule for only about $15 on the happy hour menu! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
You know I be jumping all over when I hear a new karaoke place opens up! First off, the interior of this place looks AMAZING! The rooms look even more impressive with all the fancy lighting, special effects, and touch screens. Reminds me of my days living in Japan. For a karaoke lounge/bar in hoity toity Bellevue, Stone Karaoke does not disappoint! Second, EXTENSIVE SONG LIST, and those three words are in caps because I was screaming them as I wrote this review. I would say this place leans more towards Chinese, but there were a good selection of Korean and Japanese songs. Third, the fact that I'm dating myself and admitting that my friends and I sang a bunch of 90s songs (the time period that I grew up in) AND they had the music videos for them is pretty damn impressive! Backstreet Boys, TuPac, Christina Aguilera, you name it. Fourth, this place is ACROSS THE STREET FROM FACING EAST! When I found out about this fact, I got so excited I think I almost came. #maybeTMI All in all, this place is situated nicely, albeit I'd rather it be on the west side. The bar area is where I would hang out next the next time I go there. They got sushi there as well as hoity toity cocktails and such. My friends and I came here with a GroupOn that gave us a good discount for an hour of karaoke, so my experience is different than those who bitched about the price factor of Stone. Don't worry, I'll probably be one of those people next time (haha), which is why I'm reserving one star until I have another encounter with Stone. That and our server was a little bit on the bitchier side. Surprising considering that this place is in hoity toity Bellevue? Nope.

Yelp
I met a friend there for happy hour right after work. We were well ahead of the normal "crush" of evening goers, so I am not able to review them for a time when they are really busy. Nor am I a singer, so didn't make use of the Karoake option either. The food was decent for a bar, and unique in its offerings (not the usual chicken bites and pretzels). I ordered house wine, which was acceptable (given it was house) and my friend order a G&T. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We were checked on several times throughout the course of our time there (again, this was before the crowds came in, so the ratio of servers to the two of us was pretty high). The leather chairs were comfortable, bar was clean (no sticky tables). The bathrooms were also clean - and I was very impressed to see the signs offering to help folks get home if they'd been partying a bit hard. They do have parking, though the lot is small so if you go during the later times, you may need to park elsewhere and walk over. In talking to the folks who work there, in addition to the karaoke rooms (which I didn't try), they also have live music later in the evening. Given the open nature of the bar, it may get too noisy for conversations into the evening - but it looks to be a decent place for a party. My friend's company had actually gone there for a business holiday event and said it was well hosted by the lounge. While I'm doubtful I'll go for the full karaoke experience, I will add them to my list of decent little "right-after-work" happy hour places.

Yelp
Came to the Stone Lounge to celebrate a birthday this past weekend. We had a groupon and reservations. We arrived on time and waited almost 15 minutes before our room was ready. No offer of additional time on the back end so we really got 1:40 not 2 hours. All of the staff that I interacted with did not seem to care about the customer experience. They just seemed disinterested and didn't like working there. The food was average. Good wings, sliders were gross. We had fun singing together but nearly half of the songs that we tried to find they did not have. The control panel often reverted to being in Chinese so it was difficult to use. At the end, we settled the bill. There was still almost $100 in charges for the room that the groupon did not cover. Not a fan.

Yelp
This place started out with a bang and has gone down hill. It has potential but Most of the staff that was there is gone and no consistency in drinks lately. had some friends go in and have grey goose martinis and for two it cost them $55. Way to pricy for what you get. The private rooms are very nicely done and the sounds systems are nice. They should have someone walk you thru how to use the equipment so you know what to do since the rooms are charged by the hour. The pricing for the rooms and the minimums are up there in price so be prepared. They do have some happy hour prices for some of the rooms so I would suggest checking those out first. The common mistake places make when coming to Bellevue is that people will pay anything for new experience. This is not Vegas, Miami or Hollywood. Will check it out again in a couple months and see where things are.

Yelp
I made a reservation through emails with them at 7:30pm. When we arrived, they are having a private event till 9:30pm. The waitress who I made reservation with just claimed that she had 30 reservations to care about, that she messed up mine. She was not polite at all. Simply said that you can come back at 9:30pm, that's it. Now I understand why this place only got a 2 star. Very bad management!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday party and had a BLAST! My friends and I rented one of the bigger private rooms and it fit about 15 people comfortably (meaning everyone had a place to sit). It was nicely decorated with new upholstery and mood lighting. Service was good - they kept checking in on us and made sure we weren't short on anything. Didn't order food so I can't really comment on that, but the drinks came out quickly! We had 2 servers who were both really nice and super attentive even on a hectic Saturday night. I thought the music selection was good, a nice mix of throwbacks and new tracks. They didn't have ALL the songs we wanted, but I don't think I've ever been to a karaoke joint that had it all. I'd definitely come back, it was fun.

Yelp
Had a good time at Stone, with fast service to our reserved room and great service while we were inside as well. If you're looking for karaoke with friends with a wide selection of english, korean, and chinese songs, I would definitely recommend! 4 star review is due to one of their policies which I personally am not a fan of, which is that each person must order a minimum $7 worth of food on top of paying the per hour price for the room. Food was okay, but if I had been there just to karaoke, I wouldn't have gotten the food without the requirement being there. Prices are also a bit on the higher side. Still, overall enjoyable.

Yelp
These comments are specific to bringing kids here. For adults it would be a great place to have a party and enjoy. So if we were there with just us grown ups, I would give it a higher rating. We came here because they were advertising "Bellevue's newest destination for children's parties." The positives: 1. The food and drinks are excellent. 2. Rooms are clean and have cool lighting for karaoke. 3. Room was a good size, and AV system was very good. 4. Rates were reasonable, parking was good, location is convenient. Negatives: 1. When one of the families arrived and asked for our party, the hostess said "its in either room one or room two and there are a bunch of kids in both of them", without bothering to check what room our party was in. Seems like they were not too pleased to have a bunch of kids there. Which is odd for a place advertising for children's birthday parties. 2. Only one of two microphones worked. 3. The room was really nice but it got uncomfortably warm in there once the room filled with people. 4. The controls were in the corner and for larger parties it's difficult for people to look at the list and select the songs. Basically one person ends up controlling the playlist. 5. The videos were not appropriate for children. It was cool that they had the actual music videos, but they were definitely not child appropriate. Would be nice if they had a child friendly selection, or parental control system. 6. Our food didn't come out very quickly and they weren't tracking all our orders. Our room time was already up when one order came out and we had to eat it out in the bar area when everyone else was done and ready to leave. 7. One lady was nice but the other lady made us feel like she clearly did not enjoy serving families. 8. They added taxes and fees to the Groupon price on the day of the party, which the host specifically called to ask if there were any additional fees or taxes we need to pay. They said no on the phone but charged us when the party was over. We made the most of it and had a good time, but it would have been much better if the service was much better. We did have a Groupon, but that is to get people in the door that wouldn't otherwise come in. So, good service will also equate to increased business. If this worked out, we would have had a lot more parties there at the regular prices. Groupon is where we look for new ideas for get togethers or parties.

Yelp
Warning: If you go here, be very careful with your credit and debit cards and don't open a tab. Last night the bartender gave my boyfriend's debit card to someone else and he ended up getting charged for this person's bill both here and at a different bar. When we first arrived, my boyfriend opened a tab at the bar and then we went to the karaoke room we reserved with the rest of our party. Once we got out, he went to close his tab and the bartender didn't have his debit card - but there was a receipt showing that someone had purchased more drinks and closed with his card. The signature was just a scribble (it definitely wasn't my boyfriend's signature). When our friends were closing their tabs, they also noticed that when they got their cards back, no one was asking for their names. The servers were just asking things like, "this is your card, right?" and handing them over. It seems like the people who work here are not very careful about giving cards to the right person. This being said, most of the staff we encountered were nice and apologetic. They also didn't charge us for the karaoke room, which we're very appreciative of. However, the bottom line is that your checking account could get wiped out because of someone else's negligence, so be careful.

Yelp
Had sooo much fun in our private karaoke lounge! Our group was about 15 people and there was enough room for all of us. Only gave 2 stars because the "waitress" claimed she was a waitress, buster, server and host all at once and that if we placed a drink order through her she'd be "overwhelmed" Sooo, actually she was none of those things. Someone in my party asked for a gin & tonic and he'd throw her a $20 and she flat out said it would be too complicated and for us to go to the bar, she didn't even understand that the leftover would be her tip. Needless to say we just ordered from the bar and likely would have spent much more if there was someone actually serving/checking in on us. Also, it's hot AF in the rooms after a while and the AC does not work. Still had a great time because the group was fun :)

Yelp
It's a great convenient location with free parking. The interior is fun but the service nonexistent and the food was terrible. The roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions was paired with old broken tortilla chips. The roast beef was thick and chewy. The onions were still partially raw. The cheese was melted. Nobody checked on us. We had to chase down the check.... Do not waste your money or time!

Yelp
Warm sake helps everyone sing better, am I right?? Love the private karaoke rooms and the they partner with local companies to host pop ups and events.

Yelp
Drinks were great. Flavorful and creative. However service is slow bc they appear understaffed and swarmed by rude masses of customers. The food we ordered was overpriced for the quantity and was left sitting for a while before reaching us. Sadly, it was cold by the time we got it.

Yelp
Came in with my wife for dinner on a weekday, Place was empty but seemed like a nice atmosphere. They were out of a few items but the bartender was friendly and handled it well and the food was actually pretty good. Unfortunately when the bill came and we handed him our Passport card, he said he couldn't accept it because we did not order the exact same meal. Here is the wording straight from the Passport app, "Enjoy a complimentary entrée when purchasing another entrée of equal or greater value" Not sure what I'm missing here, honor your ads!

Yelp
The facility is pretty. But the software for the actual karaoke system was irritating and frustrating to use! Difficult to search and find things. It jumped back and forth between modes and languages without any warning. Their selection of songs was pretty limited. It was difficult to tell which version of any given song we were choosing. The app for the phone didn't work at all! The staff were more waiters - - good ones, I'll admit - - but not very good technicians for helping with difficulties inside the booth. It was hard to find places we could take our kids, so that was a plus for this location. But I will say the frustration in figuring out their system, and the over all influence that difficulty had on our experience made this a mediocre singing outing.

Yelp
This is a great place to get together with friends! The private karaoke rooms are very nice and comfy! The songs need to be updated. One thing to keep in mind is that they automatically add the gratuity. I wasn't made aware of it so I ended up paying extra gratuity until I looked at the receipt in the car.
