Stone Temple Baptist Church

Went to a funeral there in the mid 2010s and the pastor and congregation were nice people, but the reason I am here is because I just saw a documentary about the 68 Riots and they said that Rev Dr Martin Luther King preached at Stone Temple while living in Chicago in 1966, which blew me away, because I lived in that area most of my life and didn't know about this great fact 😊

I love this Church This is where my seed Was Planted when I was a kid The Lord was blessing me Then in this church And he is blessing me right now at this Church I am so glad to be back. And I love the way they help the community And I love working there Amen,hallelujah glory be to God. 💌🙌🏿💒🙌🏿😇

I came to Stone Temple Baptist Church for the Celebration of Life Funeral Service for my friends' nephew. After the services we dined in their lower level. Street parking.

I went for a "home going" funeral, the church is older with the sanctuary on the 2nd floor, but they they have 2 chair lifts for those who can't walk up. Nice church, the minister preaching the sermon, was good.

Stopped by a blessed event to say see you later to a colleague and co-worker mrs. Melissa Carter on Saturday. Also to show respect and support to her husband Chris Carter also respected the co-worker and colleague in his time of a bereavement. I very much enjoyed Bishop Fitzpatrick message to the family of encouragement as well as all the souls that dedicated or rededicated their lives to Christ what a blessing Missy would have been elated. Prayerfully on a better note I can stop by and enjoy fellowshipping with Them again

This place has a public refrigerator. This was a great idea.They offer free food and a place to donate. I may have stuffed the refrigerator. But a great idea.
