Stoneridge Estate Queenstown

The setting and staff at Stoneridge Estate is just beyond words. It is a boutique hotel so there are not many staff, but this is perfect as all the staff are so helpful and friendly - it just felt like a very warm neighbourhood to live in for a few days. It’s sad that we didn’t catch the names of all the lovely staff. The dinner was lovely and perfectly done even though there was only one staff running (gracefully) around all night for the three tables. The breakfast was also very yummy - we particularly enjoyed the omelette and smoked salmon/cream cheese bagel, very nice coffee too. We also joined the Altitude Wine Sampling Tour through Stoneridge’s arrangement - perfect!! The in-room massage was also very lovely - thank you Belle and Anissa! It was quite a chilly weather when we visited so we didn’t have the courage to jump into the infinity pool, but surely it will be amazing under warmer weather. The gym was also nicely equipped even though it’s not big - but it has basically what one needs for a quick vacation workout! Though the multi-purpose weight training set was a bit confusing - perhaps can consider add instruction cards. We were so happy with the stay and will definitely want to come back :)

The most breathtaking stay!! My fiance surprised me with this accomodation, even included an in house massage and booked their fine dining dinner which was amazing. We stayed in the cottage for 2 nights and loved every moment! The staff were so very friendly and helpful, great to talk to. The scenery and accommodation was so stunning, with so much character and unique qualities this took my breath away! A lovely cheese platter brought to our room in the afternoon and sitting enjoying the lovely scenery Would definitely recommend and will be back if we return to Queenstown in the near future

From start to finish Stonebridge Estate was a five star experience. Our room in The Retreat was beautiful with such attention to detail. The view from our room was breathtaking. We did the degustation meal on our first night and it was fabulous, the chef took great care to cater for my dietary requirements. Breakfasts which are included were a highlight with options to suit everyone. Also the complimentary local cheese platter and wine delivered each evening was an expected bonus. The staff were a delight and nothing was too much trouble. It was hard to wrench ourselves away from this slice of paradise!

My husband and I recently stayed at Stoneridge for five nights in their Retreat building. We were both blown away at the accommodations and loved our stay at Stoneridge. The cheese and wine was a nice treat on a daily basis, along with a very delicious breakfast! The location was ideal as we were right outside of Queenstown, but closer to Arrowtown and Millbrook for a few more outdoor activities.

My husband and I discovered Stoneridge online, and from our very first inquiry in December 2024 until our wedding day on the 2nd of December 2025, the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every step of the journey was seamless, effortless, and handled with absolute professionalism. The moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the breathtaking beauty of Stoneridge Estate. The views are truly spectacular, like something out of a dream. The vast property, the perfectly manicured vineyard, the lush trees, and the vibrant green grass created an atmosphere that felt heavenly. It is literally a paradise. The cottage we stayed in was exceptional. Perched high on the hill, it offered a panoramic view of the lake, vineyard, and surrounding nature. It was peaceful, luxurious, and incredibly romantic. Inside, everything was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The second-floor windows opened wide, allowing us to breathe in the fresh mountain air and soak in the stunning scenery. It was perfect in every way. Staff: 1. Brooke is an absolute gem. She is warm, gracious, and effortlessly calm under pressure. Even with many guests around, she remained attentive, welcoming, and consistently greeted us with the genuine & radiant smile. Brooke is smart, confident in her role, and has a natural gift for connecting with people. Her humility, politeness, and enthusiasm made us feel truly valued. Brooke truly represents the team beautifully. 2. Emily and Thomas were amazing! Their level of customer service is exceptional. They are respectful, kind, humble, and wonderfully engaging. They greet guests with genuine warmth, provide clear and thorough explanations, and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. Their professionalism and kindness really set them apart. 3. Sue, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. She was incredibly supportive, approachable, and kind. Thanks to her, our wedding day unfolded flawlessly. The flow of the wedding ceremony was perfect because of her. Even with last-minute changes, she handled everything with calm expertise and made it all look effortless. She ensured every detail reflected our wishes and gave us constant reassurance throughout the day. Sue is truly excellent, competent, gentle, thoughtful, and absolutely wonderful to work with. 4. London, who worked with us remotely for an entire year, was a blessing. She made our wedding preparations unbelievably smooth and stress-free. She responded instantly, offered practical solutions, and provided clear instructions every step of the way. London kept everything organised and under control, allowing us to enjoy the process without anxiety. Her dedication, efficiency, and expertise were exceptional. She made sure all our wishes were honoured and exceeded every expectation. Our wedding was beyond perfect. It is magical, memorable, and filled with joy, largely because of the extraordinary venue and the remarkable staff at Stoneridge. Choosing Stoneridge was one of the best decisions we have ever made. From the breathtaking location to the outstanding service, Stoneridge delivered excellence in every possible aspect. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Stoneridge for weddings, holidays, honeymoons, and any special occasion. They have truly set a new standard of excellence. From the moment we arrived, Daniel was extremely professional- almost like an old friend. He was welcoming, and informative but relaxed at the same time which made the whole experience wonderful. Perfect to have as front of house. We had the chefs choice dinner experience, and WOW, the food was beautifully presented and the quality was impeccable. The views from the retreat rooms were stunning. We will absolutely be back very soon!

The rooms are magnificent, the grounds are stunning, the view incomparable and the wines impeccable. Do not buy into the dinner, simply inedible. Frozen pumpkin soup with dried chewy onions, followed by 3 sad asparagus (I don’t eat mushrooms) that was the only thing on the plate. Third course. Scallops… first thing we noticed was the off, fishy smell with dried cauliflower. We ended the experience at that point.

We visited Stoneridge for my wife's 40th birthday – and I can't stress enough how special the team at Stoneridge made the whole stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were wonderful. The set menu dinner cooked by the chef was remarkable. My wife and I are still talking about how delicious the venison was. The location is perfect for a stay in Queenstown. And the hot tub is a nice bonus on those clear, chilly nights (the stars are magical). Thank you so much to the Stoneridge team for everything.

We went to the newly opened pizza restaurant at Stoneridge Estate. It must've opened that day or the day before. It was pretty good! Amazing service and food tasted very good! Definitely recommend!
