Stoneridge Estate Queenstown

My husband and I chose to get married at Stoneridge not only because it's a stunning venue with truly unique spaces and vistas, but because they offer wedding packages. Stoneridge know all the best vendors in Queenstown and took all the stress out of wedding planning. Every staff member we met from our first tour of the venue to the wedding day itself were happy, helpful and professional. The food was exceptional, the coordinator and planner were just a joy to work with and the wait staff and other folk who worked so hard behind the scenes to make our day as special as it was made us exceptionally proud to host our wedding at Stoneridge. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We had our wedding at Stoneridge Estate in August 2025 and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone! Our day could not have been more perfect and it exceeded all my expectations. The coordination team were great with their assistance and helping me plan a wedding in NZ while I live in QLD, Australia. My hubby and I got to have our fairytale winter wonderland wedding. We we're married in the chapel, had our helicopter flight into the Remarkables to get some pics and reception at the Hayes Room. Everything from communication, decor and florals, food, wine, party vibes and the marriage could not have been better. Very grateful to the staff at Stoneridge. Also would definitely go back there to stay overnight and wine and dine the wine and food are still talked about 6 months later with our families.

Excellent environment and facilities, however the breakfast quality is a bit of disappointing.

We stayed at Stoneridge Estate for our heli-wedding and it was truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to all the staff, especially Daniel, Sue, London, and the chef for making our stay and wedding so memorable. A few days before our wedding our original hair and makeup team had to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances. London was incredibly quick to find a replacement hairdresser and makeup artist within the same day, which we were so grateful for, it took so much stress off us and allowed everything to continue seamlessly. Sue was also incredible on the day, helping dress us both, keeping us organised, helping with photos, and doing absolutely everything possible to make our heli ceremony happen, even with low cloud and tricky weather. We are genuinely so grateful. All of the vendors recommended through Stoneridge as part of their packages were exceptional,our photographer, videographer, florist, pianist, and celebrant were all amazing and contributed so much to the magic and experience of the day. We also booked the private dinner on our wedding night and loved the food and alternatives the chef made for us,as one is dairy free and gluten free. The service was attentive and warm, and we didn’t want it to end. Throughout our stay we felt so spoilt with the additions of cheese and wine daily and the beautiful chocolate treats, such a thoughtful and luxurious touch. Stoneridge made our wedding experience magical and stress-free, we can’t recommend it enough, we also loved our little cottage and spar overlooking the property. Loved our chats with Daniel, he was so genuine, attentive, and remembered the little things that made breakfast and dinners feel personal. Thank you stoneridge staff for the great memories. Fantastic rooms with incredible views, but we really have to give our thanks to Daniel and Jono for making us feel right at home and so welcome. Daniel gave us thoughtful recommendations for activities and dining in Queenstown. Jono was extremely attentive, prompt, and kind with all requests from breakfast to afternoon wine and cheese. We could not recommend staying here enough and are thankful to these two for making it such a special experience. Thank you!

From start to finish Stonebridge Estate was a five star experience. Our room in The Retreat was beautiful with such attention to detail. The view from our room was breathtaking. We did the degustation meal on our first night and it was fabulous, the chef took great care to cater for my dietary requirements. Breakfasts which are included were a highlight with options to suit everyone. Also the complimentary local cheese platter and wine delivered each evening was an expected bonus. The staff were a delight and nothing was too much trouble. It was hard to wrench ourselves away from this slice of paradise!

Loved our stay at Stoneridge. A beautiful small boutique hotel with friendly staff and delicious food. The “trust the chef” experience was exceptional. They even accommodated our 5 yr old son asking in advance what he’d prefer. The grounds were beautiful to walk in and the view from the room breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

The setting and staff at Stoneridge Estate is just beyond words. It is a boutique hotel so there are not many staff, but this is perfect as all the staff are so helpful and friendly - it just felt like a very warm neighbourhood to live in for a few days. It’s sad that we didn’t catch the names of all the lovely staff. The dinner was lovely and perfectly done even though there was only one staff running (gracefully) around all night for the three tables. The breakfast was also very yummy - we particularly enjoyed the omelette and smoked salmon/cream cheese bagel, very nice coffee too. We also joined the Altitude Wine Sampling Tour through Stoneridge’s arrangement - perfect!! The in-room massage was also very lovely - thank you Belle and Anissa! It was quite a chilly weather when we visited so we didn’t have the courage to jump into the infinity pool, but surely it will be amazing under warmer weather. The gym was also nicely equipped even though it’s not big - but it has basically what one needs for a quick vacation workout! Though the multi-purpose weight training set was a bit confusing - perhaps can consider add instruction cards. We were so happy with the stay and will definitely want to come back :)

We went to the newly opened pizza restaurant at Stoneridge Estate. It must've opened that day or the day before. It was pretty good! Amazing service and food tasted very good! Definitely recommend!
