1000!!!! I had a wonderful visit! Megan(I hope I spelled it correctly) who is a manager was working the bar and took care of me. She was so very welcoming and kind. I ordered my coke first then she gave me a menu and we chatted about how TERRIBLE the parking has become at Cumberland mall! Side bar It took me 6-10 to find a spot very unacceptable. Anyway back to Megan… she was able to make me forget that I was irritated about the parking by helping me decide on what to eat. I got the Prime rib and the sweet potato casserole that casserole was so good I could have just eaten that and been just fine!! I really enjoyed it. The prime rib was good! I added blue cheese crusting to it and of course that elevated it! The volume of the atmosphere was moderate I was still able to take care of some business and concentrate just fine. The waiter checked on me a good number of times too! Great experience great service great food!!

Love the owl lodge feel. The sunset through the glass over the bar with the trees I could picture be in a mountain town or like a lake Tahoe. Service was really good. Very corporate field corporate crowd. Food was good. Gave four stars for the food because the burger was really salty, but it was great size baked potato was amazing. Burger with baked potato, chicken, tender, dinner plate with broccoli and Parmesan fries, and a Coke for $50

---NEW REVIEW Second Visit--- Came back and tried the pecan crusted trout. Sadly, it was a no. The portion size was the only plus. The fish was bland and not seasoned at all. My waiter was also pushing the cream corn, so I tried it. It was way too sweet, not my favorite. All in all, since this is a steakhouse it seems that should be the ONLY way to go. The waiter did admit that they don't do fish well (as far as flavor). The steaks are the main character and that's my final verdict. -------‐-----———— Food was absolutely delicious. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. I want to try the pecan crusted trout next.

Once I tasted my meal, I got over the prices. Everything tasted great. If I had a critique, it would be to increase the number of medallions from 3 to 5 so that it's in proportion with the side that I choose, and that heavenly crab cake.

I visited Stoney River at Cumberland Mall on Thursday, and after more than a decade of coming here, it remains my absolute go-to spot for a great steak. I’ve had steaks in pricier, well-known restaurants all over the country, and I still haven’t found one that tops what Stoney consistently delivers. My filet was perfectly prepared—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I added the fried shrimp and had their always-dependable mashed potatoes on the side. I was a little disappointed to learn they no longer offer the lobster tail, but the crab cake appetizer more than made up for it. Service was excellent, and the bartender did a great job taking care of us. We arrived early hoping to sit by the fireplace; unfortunately, that area was reserved and remained empty during our 90-minute visit. A bit disappointing, but now I know to request those seats ahead of time. Overall, another fantastic experience. Stoney continues to set the bar for steak in my book.

Husband and I spent our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed every course. Staff was amazing and even the manager checked on us. Everything went very well.

From start to finish our experience was lovely. I made a reservation so we were seated within 10 min of arriving. Our server was fantastic! We ordered based on her recommendations and weren't disappointed at all. Because it was our anniversary, she surprised us with a glass of champagne to go with our dessert, which was divine BTW. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend 👌🏾

I dont know if this place is a chain, I think maybe it is, but regardless they served me up well and fed me right. The prime Rib was amazing! Cooked too temp, seasoned well, and the sides were also scrumptious! The French Onion was absolutely marvelous! I went back 2 days later for me! Sitting at the bar is the way to go! Bartenders were talkative and polite.and very professional!

Had a retirement celebration with friends and looking for a steak place for dinner. Wow - have the prices in the ATL area increased for steaks! A friend recommended Stoney River and had been a number of times for lunch and dinner while working in area- so made reservations for a Tuesday night. Hostess's and waitress were great! Once ready to be seated we were offered a booth with a torn seat - asked for a different booth and were quickly accommodated. We took 3 hours for dinner and the waitress had perfect timing - allowing us time to catch up while checking in periodically. She knew the menu and wine list and helped with suggestions. Food? Wonderful - steak was done perfectly (medium rare plus) the Dinner Special was also delicious the sides were hot and tasty . And all of that for reasonable prices in a warm and casual setting . Highly recommend Stoney River ...

This is a great steakhouse for business meetings, dates etc. I've been to this location a few times and the service is always top tier! The hot rolls and butter are a delightful treat! I honestly can eat those alone and be satisfied . Myself and my dinning mates have tried just about the entire menu, however this stop mom and felt like a good burger for lunch. They did not disappoint! (Can't go wrong with a burger at a steak house)

I was in the area for an appointment and had a BIG appetite, so I stopped by not really knowing what to expect. I didn't have a reservation but was still warmly greeted by the host and given a table almost immediately. I was afraid that I would be ushered to the bar (like other restaurants do when they see a single person) but thankfully that didn't happen. I really like booths! Lighting wise, I did think it was a wee bit dark in there but all the tables have candles which is a nice touch. Rose was my waitress and she was really phenomenal and friendly. I ordered the lemon drop as well as a surf and turf special. Everything was perfection including the rolls! I'm so glad I accepted them because typically I'm not a bread person. But these were so good I took the remainders home in my carry out bag lol. I can't wait to return with my family and friends. The service was amazing from end to end.

Enjoyed celebrating my husband birthday here last night. From making the reservation to the end of service, all was immaculate. Our server Marcel was very welcoming, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant setting was very modern and I love the open kitchen concept. When asked, Marcel was about to give us excellent recommendations and suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious and the drink- Tequila Mockingbird was on point. And large portions, we all had enough leftover for lunch and dinner . He did not miss on any of them. With that being said, I made up my mind that Stoney River is now our go to spot.

Not sure what is occurring. The last two visits, service was subpar and too long a lapse between appetizers and entrees. The is the second time I've had to wait 30 minutes for a straw. My burger was very salty. Never had that experience before. Not worth the wait. Surprised based on the fact the menu has been reduced. The wait staff were all scrambling and disorganized . The runners were even worse. She poured water in a soft drink glass. Just bizarre.

This restaurant was adjacent to my hotel, so I went twice! Once for dinner and once for lunch. For dinner, Chastity was server and for lunch, James. Both were equally pleasant and super friendly. It is a little dark inside, but that would probably be my only complaint. They have full menu for both lunch and dinner. For dinner, I had the steak medallions with the shrimp. So good! You get one side, I had the baked potato and that sucker was huge!! The rolls that they serve are amazing!! The next day, I had a salad. It also was huge!! Service was great, especially because I was with a group in town for business. They separated our checks, no problem. I would recommend!

This restaurant has the best, I mean the absolute best biscuits. They are somewhat like a doughnut, flaky and sweet. The bar is my favorite place to sit, you don't have to wait to be seated, and have the same full service with great conversation and company. The drink prices are only six dollars during brunch. I recommend this restaurant for any occasion and the service in this location is always the best. Our favorite bartender is Rose! Because it is at the mall, parking may be difficult, depending of the time of day that you come. Sundays is very difficult to find good parking but don't forget the garage. You can always park in the garage.

I was taken there for Mother's Day , T My daughter forgot to tell them we needed a table instead of a booth, but it wasn't a problem,the young lady said as soon as one came available we would be seated.. about 30 minutes later we were seated, server came immediately to accommodate us. The food and service was fantastic...will recommend to others...

We go to the one in Cumberland mall and we love it so much! The steak and and all their sides are amazing, as well as the service! The dark ambiance definitely sets that tone for a fine dining experience. I left dreaming about their creamed spinach!

Ugh!! I wish this post was different. Now, let me start with this is my second highly rated steak house in Atlanta and it was better (in my opinion than Ray's) but anybody who had eaten at any good steakhouse place should avoid. I'm going to focus on the food...there were some minor service issues but nothing detracting from the experience like not getting steak knives till we were almost 1/2 done with the steaks. First, winner of the table was the least expensive and exceeded expectations: Steak and fries. For the money at a steakhouse 8/10 Second, French onion soup...solid 8/10. Better than Longhorn steakhouse. Third, au gratin potato side- recommendation from the server: 10/10. Came out lava hot but, after cooling, absolutely delicious. The problem is the 2 of our steak entrees where just not good at all, the prime rib had no flavor and the coffee rubbed filet tasted like candy. Bluntly, I ate 2 bites and didn't take the rest home. If you like sweet steak--get it. The New England lobster bisque also had "lobster meat" that had clearly been frozen...it had that taste. Bluntly, I have come to believe as amazing the food in Atlanta is like: BBQ, soul food, BREAKFAST!....it is just not a steak place.

This is one of my favorite places. Service is usually A-1. Had Justin on this visit and he was great. Very attentive, anticipated our needs and checked on us frequently. Food ready fast and always comes to the table hot. The steak rolls are delicious! The ambiance is grown and sexy, low lightning, quiet but great vibe.

I had a great expereince at the Stoney Rivery Steakouse! I went on a random afternoon for lunch and had seriously one of the better burgers I've ever had. I had the Stakehouse burger, ordered medium, and it was PERFECTLY prepared. This burger comes loaded with Gruyère, caramelized onions, and Thousand Island dressing. Amazing combination of flavors. It came with a slde of parmesan fries which were perfectly crispy and delicious. I am not local to the area, so I won't be able to return frequently, but when I do return, I will absolutely be making a stop at Stoney Rivery for another burger. Check them out!

I forgot to check in...and I have all good things to say. We went around 5pm and the wait was 45min so we sat at the bar. The service was pretty good. Our waitress/bartender was sweet and attentive. She gave her drink opinions when we asked for it. We ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer and it was delicious! I ordered salmon, asparagus, and smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. I wasn't expecting such a big piece of salmon, but I'm happy because I had some to take home. My date had the Cumberland salad and a loaded baked potato. He didn't have any complaints. We ordered drinks but I can't remember the name of one of them. The reimagined old fashioned was extremely strong. The other drink was really good, wish I remembered the name of it. This was my first time at this restaurant and I would definitely come back.

This place is OK. We ordered the spinach dip; it was just Ok. The bread was delicious. The ribeye steak was good, but the crusted chicken reminded me of the chicken sandwhich meat I used to get in the cafeteria at school. I sent it back. Let me take you on a gastronomic rollercoaster, where the highs are as delightful as a summer's day and the lows... well, they're there too. First, let's talk about the spinach dip. This wasn't just any spinach dip; it was the Michael Jordan of spinach dips. If this dip were a movie, it would sweep the Oscars. Creamy, cheesy, with just the right amount of spinach to make you feel like you're eating healthy (spoiler: you're not, but who cares?). It's the kind of dip that makes you want to write poetry about it or, at the very least, give it a standing ovation. And the lemon drop! Oh, the lemon drop. It was like sipping on a liquid sunbeam. The perfect balance of sweet and tart, it danced on my tongue like a ballerina in a glass. If life gives Stoney River lemons, they don't just make lemonade; they turn it into a symphony. But then, there was the Bistro Chicken. Oh, dear. If the spinach dip and lemon drop were a dream date, the Bistro Chicken was the awkward goodbye at the end of the night. It promised so much but delivered so little. It was as lackluster as a rainy day in July. The chicken was like that one actor who always plays the same role in every movie - you know, the one you can't remember the name of. It was the "I guess that's fine" in a world where the spinach dip was "This is everything!" In conclusion, Stoney River is a place of culinary paradoxes. Come for the spinach dip and the lemon drop, stay for... well, more spinach dip and lemon drops. And maybe give the Bistro Chicken a pep talk on your way out.

Love to eat here whenever I can! Came to celebrate and the service was very hospitable! Shout outs to our server Crystal who we've come back to see many times! The ambiance is always warm and welcoming! I would recommend Stoney Rivers to anyone looking for a cozy night with great food and service!

My cousin had her birthday dinner at this restaurant near Cumberland Mall. This was my first time at this restaurant and it will not be my last. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. There wasn't any room for my husband and I sit at the table with my family so I asked the hostess if we could sit at the booth near the table. The request was granted. Food Bread-sweet Ribeye-ok...sorry...Houston's has the best ribeye. -good Broccoli-delicious Long Island-perfect My husband had the shrimp and fries. The presentation was excellent. My daughter had the steak and fries. Her steak was moist and flavorful. I would get that next time. Can't wait to try their brunch.

Very nice ambience, great for a date. However, parking can be tough since it's mall parking. The coffee filet was wonderful! I also enjoyed the prime rib, but I had to ask for the horseradish. I liked that you could opt for sautéed rather than cream spinach. It tasted fresh. I took off a star because the baked potato could have been hotter, and the gouda mac & cheese was just ok. Otherwise, excellent meal!

The moment you walk in the door, the ambiance catches you. Considering a meal at the bar vs a longer wait time? I highly recommend. No matter how must they get, the capable, friendly bartenders make sure you're satisfied. The food is outstanding. Filet or bistro chicken -- i highly recommend. Sides are generous, too. Pro Tip: if you're considering an appetizer ask yourself two questions: 1) Will I be eating their incredible fried bread? (If yes, no appetizer) 2) Will someone help me eat this app before my meal? If no, you'll be full and you'll want your meal to go. Drinks are outstanding, too. The full bar and creative specialty drinks are worth exploring (think: Sunset Peach). This newbie to ATL will be back.

Stoney River was alright, I got the salmon and mash potatoes. The potatoes were salty and the salmon wasn't cooked all the way.

Always good food and good service! Perfect for family dinners. My favorites are the steak roll appetizers, meatloaf, trout, and the poppy seed rolls.

"Today is the day. It's our anniversary. Anniversary." (Remember that song.-:) My husband and I decided to have a nice anniversary lunch at Stoney River. We love this place for romantic dates, family nights, meetings, birthdays, and just because. Our reservation ensured booth seating by the window but really there was plenty of seating that particular Friday late afternoon. Our male server was prompt and on top of everything. We ordered a ribeye steak, grilled asparagus, slab of ribs, sweet potato soufflé, and coleslaw. Everything was beyond delicious! As usual, the steak was flavorful and very tender. This was our first time ordering ribs which our waiter highly recommended. We can honestly say they were the best we've ever had at a restaurant. I am not a big fan of asparagus but the grilled flavor and garlic may have changed my mind. The dinner rolls that came to the table are really addictive donut holes. Soooo good! The entree portion sizes were enough for our dinner the next day. We were offered free drinks from the bar for our anniversary but we selected a slice of cake to go instead. It's really nice that Stoney River still celebrates special occasions with their customers. Overall, it was a lovely lunch date with my fabulous husband and best friend of 33 years. I recently visited Atlanta for a business trip and decided to swing back by Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill. I have enjoyed prior dining experiences there and this time didn't disappoint. Jada was my server and she was excellent. She portrayed a very welcoming and courteous demeanor. She was sure to obtain the details of my order and ensured that it was correct before bringing it to me for dining. She, also, kept me updated on the progress of my order while I waited and ensured I had plenty of rolls with butter. When my steak arrived, I started smashing the Gouda mac n cheese (which was delicious). Jada politely asked me to check the temp of my steak to ensure it was to my liking. She stressed to check the middle in particular given the size of the steak I ordered. Jada is fabulous. If you dine at Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, ask if she is working. If she is, request her table. You won't be disappointed with the service or your meal.

When I went with my husband, I expected a calm nice sit down. Not the chef and cooks yelling and vaping in the back. I later found out through our waitress that his name was Mauricio. The blatant disregard for the staff was insane I have to never witnessed something like this in a restaurant setting. I wouldn't recommend this place if you actually want to have a nice meal.

I ordered their food through DoorDash. It was mouthwatering good! I way overdid it on my order and got enough food for three-four people, but it was so worth it. I had the Center cut Filet Mignon with scalloped potatoes, Fried Steak Rolls, small round dinner rolls and Carrot Cake. Not being from the area I didn't realize the steak rolls were a meal in themselves. lol I'm so glad I didn't know because they were DELICIOUS! And the filet mignon was so tender. It practically melted in my mouth. There was so much food that I have leftovers for several days. I haven't even tried the cake yet. I'm too full from 1 1/2 Steak rolls, a couple bites of the filet and a two of the small dinner rolls. I would definitely order from here again! Thank you for my fabulous dinner!

I was here yesterday evening at 4 PM 2/24/24 for a birthday party. We had reservations for 4 PM, and got there it was at 3:30 PM. We decided to sit at the bar, wrong mistake! The bartender Rose was the worst service I ever received at a bar. To begin with, some of us asked for drink suggestions, and this upset her. I had the lemon drop mojito, it was delicious. My niece paid for her drink and gave rose a 20 dollar bill, she never gave her the change or receipt. When my niece inquired she said "oh I thought you were starting a tab, let me ring the drink up. When she rang my 2 drinks with my debit card, I watch her take her cell phone out her pocket, as if she was scanning my credit card. When I confronted her, she walked off the bar for about 5 min if not longer. I got the manager, and I can't find the manger card, but she was very nice and very accommodating, and I appreciate her. We went to table, and they were extremely accommodating same manager card that I can't locate. We had a new server that name I won't mention, but I was so baffled why they would give a new server a table of 13. It took the server 20 minutes to bring waters, and over 45 min to take only our drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers came a hour and 20 min after we sat down, and our dinner took forever also. A lot of the table had steaks that were not cooked properly. The male managers watched the server leave dirty dishes on the table for over 45 minutes, which caused us not to order desert. Managers- you set this new waitress up for failure, she should have had assistance. We did stop a server walking Ariel, and she made the rest of the dinner great! Thanks Ariel! Unfortunately, as this was my first visit, I probably wouldn't dine at Stoney River again.

Great atmosphere and our sever Erin B provided excellent service. Had sourthen peach drink it was delicious and the Cumberland salad was perfect.

Full house, full of kids and chaos. Sounds like a cafeteria on a Tuesday night. Special drinks never came. Bread took a solid 20 minutes. Ordered my steak medium. It came out well done. Problems with our gift card. Sides were incredible, salad was incredible. Save your dollars and go to Longhorn! Oh well.

Very pleasantly surprised by a "mall" steakhouse. I had the prime rib and my friend had the coffee rubbed fillet. First off service was good and the waitress was able to make good suggestions. The flavor on the fillet was very good as we traded pieces. My prime rib was done a little more on the well side (I ordered medium rare and it was probably a solid medium). However despite being done a bit more than I wanted it was pretty tasty and I have no complaints on the flavor. That and the garlic mashed potatoes made for a very satisfying meal. I'd absolutely return next time I'm in the area.

Haven't been here in years. Came here on our visit to Atlanta. The prices have gone up a little but thats to be expected. The food portions are big though so it balances out. The bread rolls they give are still delicious. Our server was amazing loved her. I would definitely come back.

Haven't been to Stoney River in years! So, I took advantage after working a convention across the street to come and have dinner. I've been eating the same thing every day so, I was excited to break my meal prep with the Wild Mushroom Meatloaf. It was absolutely delicious. It even tasted better the best evening for leftovers. The portion sizes are huge! And the bread is every bit of delicious as I remembered.

Very good place to meet with friends and have a steak. Come early because parking is crazy. Nice atmosphere and good eats.

I've eaten at Stoney River dozens of times/ really disappointed tonight. Food was very greasy and I pushed it forward away from. The bartender didn't ask why didn't I eat the food , did I want it recooked or something new from the menu . She took it away and just gave me the bill. Like the possibility of me wanting something different or even dessert was out of the question. I understand it's busy but it's a way to handle a situation where the guest is not happy with their meal. And still try to charge me for uneaten food!

Update: Customer service has gone down immensely in the past few years. The receptionists are incompetent and apparently can't carry a message to the "takeout girl" the bartender who is SWAMPED for a simple request. No sauce on takeout food because it makes it soggy. Indeed, the kitchen should just automatically not put sauce on battered fish for takeout orders because it's common sense, but common sense is in short dupply at Stoney in Cumberland. I was on hold on the phone for almost 15 minutes just to talk to the bartender for a simple issue the receptionist could have relayed. By the time the message was receieved I had arrived. I drove from Alpharetta on hold and didn't get an answer until I hit the Cobb Paekway exit. I waited 10 minutes for my order because again no one can do ANY WORK except the bar tender! only for the manager to talk down to me over rolls. Yes, the things they give you FOR FREE when you sit down in the restaurant. Apparently, if you pay $100 for takeout food you're only allowed 1 roll per person. Good news is you're more than welcome to pay extra for something everyone else receives for free! Nah, keep your rolls lady and I'll keep my money from now on. I will be calling to speak to an actual manager next week vs the condescending garden gnome who thought she could upsell me some dough after wasting 25 mins of my life dealing with her lazy, incompetent staff.

My fiance and I went to this location on 09/01/23 to celebrate his birthday and everything was perfect. Our waiter, Andre was The Best I've encountered ever! He helped us pick a combination that was perfect for our appetite. We had the Philly cheese steak rolls which were delicious. My fiance had the steak, asparagus and a baked potato. I had the surf in turf. Everything was perfect!

Stoney River always makes me feel like the meal was made just for me! :) I always have a great meal here! Make sure to ask for the bread, it's so delicious; it like a poppy seed fry bread that satisfies beyond belief. Today I ordered the Caesar salad, which I happily enjoyed as they went heavy on the salad dressing. The burger has been the only thing on the menu that I've ordered as my main meal, but it never lets me down!:) I would say the only downfall that I've had, multiple times here, had been the slow service. It seems like getting the food and the waitress coming to check in on you during your meal is always a bit of a wait.

The coffee crusted steak is great. The service was terrible, the worst we've received. Our waiter got our drinks then left us until we asked someone else for him. He came back and asked if we were ready for the check, no questions about if we liked the food or wanted anything else. Food was cold by the time it came to us. Bread was delicious, so we may be back for that.

Rolls were nice and hot when they reached the table. Service was a little slow but the food came out right, and the steak/potatos had a good flavor. The restaurant itself very nice inside but was pretty dark, and also fairly cold unless you were directly by the fire.

The service and the food has definitely gone down since I originally started coming here. The drinks are still good, but the service and the food not so much. My last visit the service was off, my food continuously came out cold. And when I sent my ice cold salmon back, they literally put it in the microwave and brought it back to me, therefore now overcooking my salmon and they management did not help when I let them know.

This location of Stoney River is attached to Cumberland Mall and sits on the Cobb Parkway side of the mall. This is one of three Stoney River locations here in the metro Atlanta area. The interior of Stoney River is very lodge-ish with dim lighting, stone fire place, dark woods and furnishings, oversized booths with a mix of tables and a fairly good sized modern bar. The space is one large open dining room with a semi-private room off to the side. The kitchen is open as well, so you can see the magic happen as you patiently or impatiently await the arrival of your steak! Speaking of steak...Stoney River is a steak house at it's core and for good reason! My go-to is the Steak & Fries, as I am a massive Steak Frites fan. Each time my steak is cooked to perfection! In addition to the steaks, I have also enjoyed the French Dip and Steakhouse Burger. The Burger is excellent, but the French Dip left a little to be desired. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Steak Rolls, which is their version of an egg roll stuffed with all the goodness and dipped into a spicy ranch! Those egg rolls and them free rolls they serve...best dishes in the house! Service has always been decent. Our servers are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is no issue as it is at the mall, so you may have to walk a little bit, but you still got you a spot without fail! Overall, Stoney River is a solid spot with good food and tasty drinks. Prices are a tad high for a chain restaurant, but quality and ambiance balance things out for the most part.

My daughter and I went to pick up an online order from a store in the mall and I started craving the steak egg rolls ($14 for 6) they sell here, so we stopped in. It helped that the daughter has never eaten here before and was happy to eat here. We went in right before 8pm and was told there was an hour and half wait to sit on the patio and a two hour wait to dine inside. There were plenty of empty tables both inside and outside, so I took this to mean they are still social distancing with their customers. We sat at the bar since there were two empty seats there and we could sit there without a wait. The service was slightly slower than I'm use to, but again, I attribute that to us sitting at the bar, but ordering full service. We had completed our entrees before the bartender bought out some warm bread. Actually, we were close to asking for some to-go boxes when she came with the bread. I had the Fish of the Day ($35), which turned out to be a really thin piece of halibut covered in some kind of sauce, it came with broccoli and creamed spinach, which I substituted for sweet potatoes. I also ordered a wedge salad ($7), and no exaggeration, I feel like they brought me out a half a head of lettuce drizzled in blue cheese and maple bacon. It was enough for an entire meal on its own. My daughter got the New York Strip, medium well, but still really pink on the inside. She never sends food back, so I was kind of miffed that she decided to take the $40 steak home to cook some more instead of sending it back to be cooked a little more, but again she never sends food back. Ordered a glass of Riesling for $10 when I know the entire bottle cost $7.99 at Kroger, so there is a plentiful mark up on alcohol. There was a guy seated next to us at the bar, he ordered the mushroom meatloaf and whenever I return, that exactly what I plan to order. Nice, romantic setting if you're on a date, but also very fitting for a last minute mother daughter dinner on a Saturday night. Very limited interaction with the staff other than the bartender that took care of us, and while she was slow, I give her credit for manning the bar and also taking care of those that were ordering full meals.

I enjoy visiting the Cumberland Mall location. Nice upscale establishment. I always get the crab cakes and the house salad. My husband enjoys his steak.

I know it is so rare that i give five stars but in truth, Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill absolutely deserved all the stars. I had my birthday dinner here for a party of six. we had a reservation for 6:00pm and we were in our seats by 6:05pm. (note, they require that the majority of your party arrive before getting seated.) Our waiter, Will, was AMAZING. He was the nicest, most professional guy, down to Earth and very much accommodated everyone in my party. First up, we ordered drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Fields and honey..... that thing was so good!!! I mean, it was refreshing and tasty and the alcohol snuck up on me, which i like. i ordered the steak rolls that come with the Chipotle Ranch. As a native New Jersey chick, i am very particular about my cheesesteaks and these were bangin, The sauce adds a special kick to the rolls that matched perfectly. For my entrée, i did a ribeye, medium-well with garlic mashed potatoes. It is rare to get delicious mashed potatoes, but these things were so good. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Don't judge me, but i always get A1 sauce, that's just how i roll. But this steak honestly didn't even need the sauce. I had another Strawberry Field, some Prosecco and i thoroughly enjoyed myself at this restaurant. this was my first time here, it will absolutely not be my last time. if you haven't been here before, what are you waiting on? the vibe, the staff, the location, all of it works out to be a really enjoyable experience. thank you Will for making my birthday party extra special with your professionalism and sense of humor!

I'm adding this place to the restaurants I'll never go to again. Only restaurant worse was "Resturant 10" across from Mercedes Benz Stadium. I loved the ambiance of Stoney River. We made reservations, but arrived early. That sat us within minutes of arriving because they weren't that busy. We sat near the see thru fireplace. The service was good. Food took a while, but since it was our anniversary, I used the time to converse. I ordered two appetizers - deviled eggs spinach dip. Neither was remarkable. In fact the eggs tasted as if they'd been in the fridge for awhile. I found the food mediocre at best. There concept of a loaded baked potato was a lot of butter. Cheese, chives, bacon bits? My steak was cooked to order. My wife had a salad. My Long Island Icetea was presented as "top shelf" - it wasn't! I've ordered the same drink at other restaurants, so I know the difference. And it tasted watered down. If you want better food, equal or better service, and better drinks go up the street to Houston's. This restaurant wasn't worth the money, to me.

Took my husband to dinner for Father's Day and he had been wanting to try out Stoney River as he had never been. All my memories of Stoney were amazing so I was happy to go. The service was great. Feel of the restaurant was good. Crab cakes and bisque amazing. My husband ordered a 52 oz bone in Rib-eye and potatoes and could barely eat either. It was pure fat but somehow still had no flavor. Potatoes were over cooked so we're just mush. My Strip was very tough even though cooked to medium, and also had absolutely no flavor. It was very disappointing. We won't be back for the steaks.

Service was below par. As far as food goes, Kids filet was overcooked and tough. Ribs were burnt on top. Overpriced and low quality. Strongly not recommend
