Google
We stopped by Stoney’s Country in Town Square after our holiday party at PopStroke, and overall had a really fun time. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and the line dancing was definitely the highlight of the night. A couple things held the experience back from being a full five stars. The $10 cover charge for local ladies felt unnecessary, especially given how quiet the venue was. Additionally, the hours listed on their website and on Google didn’t match, which made planning our visit a bit confusing. That said, once inside, we enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the atmosphere and energy on the dance floor. With a few small updates, this spot could easily be a solid five.

Google
Yeehaw Vegas Night! 🤠👢 Our very first time at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country — and it did not disappoint! 🎶💃 The crowd was vibin', the mechanical bull was taunting us (maybe next time! 🐂👀), and shoutout to Dan the bartender — super friendly and served up the good vibes 🍹🙌 The highlight? Our first-ever line dance 💃👯‍♀️ — and doing it with my Darling Sis made it extra special. Short, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back… maybe just in time for the Vegas Rodeos this November or December! 🎯🎡💥

Google
Definitely not your usual country bar. Good luck getting on the dance floor. Everyone is line dancing and filling up the space so it doesn't leave much room for couples to enjoy it. All of the music that was played was more rockabilly. No actual country music.

Shay B.

Google
Love dancing here. Admission fee and alcohol was expensive. I learned 2 line dances and stayed for the concert. Great location, plenty of parking

Carolyn B M.

Google
Drinks were great. Music was awesome, and watching all the dancing from line dancers. Saw the band Restless Road. Loved them. Great security too.

Mira M.

Google
This place is a lot of fun if you like country. We went for the country lessons at 7:00 p.m. and we had a blast

Sara C.

Google
I decided to check this place out after seeing they had a concert. When I arrived, they were charging $25 at the door, which I didn’t expect but went with it. The concert itself was really good, but the crowd was mostly under 21, which wasn’t quite what I was looking for. If you’re planning to go, I recommend checking ahead to see if it’s a 21+ event so you don’t end up surrounded by a younger crowd—unless that’s your vibe, haha. Overall, great music, but the atmosphere wasn’t quite what I was expecting!

Amy N.

Google
Not sure about food. Staff is top notch! All of them. Security indoor and outdoor, front desk, bartenders, dj, br attendant, mechanical bull operator, everyone rocks. Pretty safe compared to other places. You can leave your bag and phone while you go dance and it will be there when you return. Good people all around. Always a great time.

Yelp
Thursday is so popular that it makes Friday and Saturday slow nights at this place. Thursday is great from the time the first line dance lesson starts at 7:30 p.m. and gets busier each hour until midnight. The DJ alternates between sets of line dances and partner dances throughout the night. Two-step is the prevailing partner dance for about the first half of the night, then country swing takes over for the second half. People usually show up for one or the other. Gone are the days at Stoney's when both would occur simultaneously on the dance floor: two-step on the outside, country swing in the middle. This is not consistent with country dancing across Texas, which is overwhelmingly progressive, meaning two-step, travelling around the dance floor in a counterclockwise direction.

Don L.

Yelp
If you like true country music and dancing, stay away from this shit hole. For a $25 cover, you get ear splitting music that is anything but true country. You get line dance after line dance. And you even get to watch guys dance with each other. What a waste of my time and money. Fly ur freak flag all you want but this is not a Texas country bar !

Ovgum S.

Yelp
Absolute garbage customer service. We went to the wrong side of the bar not knowing there was an event and the security guy was a complete douche and extremely disrespectful. When I went to tell the manager, she looked at me with eyes that didn't give a crap so this must happen pretty often. Shame I wasted so much money on the cover. First and last time going.

H H.

Yelp
They add 22 percent tip on bill without telling you will never go back No wonder it was completely empty on a Sat night.

Yelp
Love coming over here, so much fun!! Love the services and music. Great for events and high recommend.

Yelp
I loved my experience at Stoney's! The bartenders were amazing! They had me floating beautifully all night! He drinks and service amazing! The lady whom taught us the steps was very easy to understand. I absolutely loved the environment. Everyone was nice and I rode the bull while everyone cheered

Yelp
Visited Stoney's while making a quick visit to Vegas and had one free night. We didn't want to venture on to the strip so this was an easy hassle free place to go with plenty of parking. We got there around 9:30pm and there was a $20 cover charge, I don't like paying covers but I guess it is what it is, especially in Vegas, and considering they had a live band playing, which was pretty good. It was crowded, loud, and hard to find a table, and definitely more of a younger crowd, but not so much that we felt out of place as a group in their mid 40s. Drinks were average, just got whiskey sours and beer. They had dancers in cages towards the end of the night which were kinda cheesy but again I guess it is Vegas. It was a fun night with good music and line dancing, but not somewhere I'd go out of my to go to again.

Lizzy M.

Yelp
Friday night 18+ is an awesome learned 2 dances. Asher the security guard is a 10/10. We loved it and will be back!
google avatar

Daniel T.

Yelp
If your expecting a country bar look elsewhere. Nothin like riding a bull to some cardi B. I love hip hop but I went for country fun and got disappointed. I'd give it a 1 star if not for the good service from the employees working there.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Gone here several times. Drink prices very high. During NFR / PBR in Vegas, they do not honor their first responder, military, teacher, etc no cover charge nights. Went during NFR week on Saturday and cover charge was $35 for 18+ and was $25 for 21+. 5 very small shots of honey Jack Daniels costs you close to $75 ($15/shot). The ambiance is ok, nothing special about this place. Band that they had that night was alright I guess. Wasn't too impressed overall.

Marlon T.

Yelp
Overrated! Came here on a Thursday 5/29/25. I regularly go line dancing so I've experienced several country bars around the country. This is by far the least friendly when it comes to the line dancing teachers and most patrons. Why only cater to your regulars? This teacher does not engage with dancers other than her friends and regulars. Get over yourselves. For beginning line dancers, check out other places with a more inclusive vibe. This place isn't it. Full of cocky arrogant dancers who think they're all that.
google avatar

Jacy M.

Yelp
Worst Employers I've ever worked for! The place might be a fun time but supporting who owns this place is something I will never do again. They couldn't care less about employees that gave 10-15 years of their life to them I'm glad I only gave 5.
google avatar

Yelp
Was asked the leave the dance floor. A Stoneys rep in a red shirt asked me to leave dance floor, Even though the songs priors was literally a lesson. Because I was POC??? Not sure but maybe. No explanation.
google avatar

Yelp
With a fun group this place is a good time! The dance floor is huge, bartenders are quick and attentive

Yelp
Always a great time. The staff is the BEST! Free and easy parking...safe parking. Love the dancin'

Yelp
What a wonderful facility, great staff and very reasonably beverages. Venue has lots of room for events and gatherings.
google avatar

Wayne G.

Yelp
This place is not a country bar they charged me 10 dollars cover to listen to some garbage hip hop music and place is full of scumbags and drinks are grossly overpriced and it's understaffed with awful service! Never again!!
google avatar

Martin L.

Yelp
Great spot! We went there for the first time recently and had a great time. It was a bit crowded as it was 18+ but the energy was amazing. We felt welcomed and look forward to returning.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
This review is solely based on an event that closed the place down from the public. The staff were outstanding for our crowd, from the door greeters to the bar tenders. The food was decent, and the place was more than large enough to house the crowd. I wish I had an actual head count but it was so nice not to be stepping over people with the added ability to get around. Be it to the bar, the food, or the bull, if you were so adventurous. The stage worked well for the entertainment and presentations for the night too. It was also nice to be out of the heart of craziness that the strip is but, at the same time, not too far away either.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I have been here several times and the staff is always great. I love going for the line dancing or partner dancing lessons. They play great music and the atmosphere is always great. The drinks are ridiculously priced so you will never find me buying drinks there, but the country vibes are great. They bring in some great artists on the weekends!
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
Not impressed. The only country dance hall I've been to that didn't play one classic country song. It was mostly country rap or other type of music. They offer lessons, which is fun. People who come here were nice; however, they are super young!! Most seem under 21 because it's an 18+ place. Has pool tables, beer-pong tables, and arcade games. Still, I came here for country music and there wasn't any-- no thanks!
google avatar

Nazh D.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night for the first time. It was such a fun experience! The dancing was awesome, Ive never really seen line dancing like that but it was definitely fun! Would probably come again and try to learn more of the dances.

Yelp
My first review of 2023 has to be at the place where I go regularly on a weekly basis, this is like home on Thursday nights lol Stoneys is truly where country lives in Las Vegas. All of the staff, from the bartenders: Jessica, Darren, Sarah, Jacy, Bri, Security: Tyson, Check-in desk: Giselle, Dance Instructor: Manda, and bathroom attendant (male): Lucas and ALL the staff are excellent! They provide amazing service and are very friendly! They really make this place "the place to be in" on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays! I have an amazing time here every time, and it's a place where I feel safe. The crowd is diverse and they make everyone feel welcome. The ambiance of Stoneys is lively, full of things to do from beer pong, bull riding, arcade games, and the best of all is the Line Dancing and Two-steps. They teach 2 line dance lessons Thurs. - Sat. at 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Thursday nights is Ladies Night where well drinks are only $2 for the ladies! Friday nights, they have amazing live country music, some from new artists and some from big well known country artists! They have a small food service with delicious tacos and nachos. Been coming here for 10+ years where I have learned over 50 line dances and have met some of the best and closest friends, and I can say that it's better than ever! I want to stay as the duke of Stoneys on yelp with 66 check ins so far and many more in the future! If you have not, gather your friends and check this place out, or even go by yourself and meet people! A true gem of Las Vegas, highly recommended. Wishing Stoneys continuous success and prosperity!

Yelp
Stoney's is a fun place! Great service and my wife and I always have a good time here.
google avatar

Yelp
The staff is freaking amazing! They take care of the customers and the place is super cool!
google avatar

Lauren V.

Yelp
Ladies night on Thursday's are the best!! If you've ever wanted to try line dancing but are a little nervous about it, then this is the place to come. Everyone we've meet from the ID checkers, to bartenders, to the patrons have been absolutely lovely. The guys have also been super respectful. Never have I had someone touch me inappropriately like they sometimes do at other night clubs. If you want to dance during the couple songs, stand at the edge of the dance floor and a handsome cowboy or cowgirl might pick you up! On Thursday well drinks are $2 and they teach two dances, one at 730 and one at 830!
google avatar

Yelp
Rude people went on a Saturday night no band. We accidentally sat in the small area that was supposedly the VIP area and were there maybe 5 minutes when 3 security rushed over to inform us it was the vip area, omg it was a crappy area looked like the rest of the bar area sad to think someone would pay extra money to sit there on wooden bench nothing special. We thought nobody sitting in that area cause it was in the corner and ugly. Security overreacted because we were there maybe 5 minutes a simple mistake and could've been nicer but the door employees were rude also guess that should've been our first clue. I won't go back it's not a very good first time experience trying this place.
google avatar

Joana S.

Yelp
A great local spot for country music lovers. If you don't like dancing, there are different games and sitting areas. Thursdays are ladies nights, one of the best nights to go. They don't have food, but they sure have a lot of drinks. The bartenders are quick and as attentive as can be.

Yelp
We always look for a great place to dance on our Vacations. This trip out west was epic. We visited 5 nightclub in 9 days. Stoneys was on our 8th night out. We should have went earlier. We arrived about 8:30 and the tables were all full. We found a couple seats in the corner. This is a very large space with a nice dance floor. The crowd here is younger but very friendly. They played a few songs we recognized. and we got a few dances in. Most of the young people line dance. I think its because it doesnt require a partner. You see all kinds here, It is Vegas! ;;;;Observations;;;; This was the busiest club on our trip. We didn't have a waiter at any of the clubs. $2 drink specials for ladies early We left when the drinks went to $12 Too crowded.

Daisy C.

Yelp
Fun place to hang out. Love the line dance lessons. Bartenders are great and sweet. Not impressed by the management. First come, first serve rules don't always apply here. Little disappointed as an almost 10-year customer

Jeri D.

Yelp
I'm from Colorado and C/W dancing is very popular! People know how to dance in CO! I could not believe how small the dance floor was, how people "hopped" around every which way. Really? Oval dance floors and dancing "counter-clockwise" is how it's done. No one knew how to do the Cowboy Cha Cha. It's a triple-step dance and mostly done either with a partner....not a line dance by yourself. You can, but that's not how it's intended. It's a sexy dance. Please learn it here in Las Vegas! Thanks
google avatar

Anthony H.

Yelp
The music seems cool, not too bad of a crowd. However.... I wonder if this shirt is why I was checked for weapons? The other guy customers were not asked to lift up their shirts and turn to show they had no weapons? Or was it cause I'm not a cowboy? I'm curious. Any guesses? Here right now and this will be my last time here. Not sure if racist or a political thing. But that was embarrassing to be the only guy checked. Got here about 11:15pm and trying to leave ASAP.
google avatar

Tyrone V.

Yelp
If your up for some dancing and drinks. This is a great place. They do dance lessons, they also have pool tables and other bar games spread around the place. Beautiful people are always present at stoney's. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Security!! -I was walking through with my group. Maybe 3-5 groups ahead of us and the line were moving fast. -We get to our group and the guy in the red shirt with the full beard stop myself. Ask if I was going to be a problem, told me to untuck my shirt and spin around. Then asked me if I had a weapon on me and asked if I was sure. - My Wardrobe- black slacks, black band shirt (undercover monster), VGK jacket. I didn't know I needed to wear a country wear when you live in the city! -For myself I thought in my head is this really happening? Can this be happening? BUT when I talked to the gentleman I started to stutter because I was scared. Drinks: can't recommend because I didn't feel safe! Atmosphere: hastily because of what I got from security! Concert/performer: AMAZING because it was Jimmie Allen!
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
I visited Stoneys for the first time with some friends and when we arrived we were hit with a $10 cover change, which I guess makes sense for a Friday with live music. We ordered basic cocktails and they were $9, which I felt was a bit high for the content of the drink. They offer line dancing lessons a few times an evening which my friends took advantage of and looked like a lot of fun even the security guard got into the action. I attempted to ride the mechanical Bull but failed to hold on like most. When we saw there was live music, we were really excited and noticed it started at 10 according to the site. We were quite disappointed when at 10:40 that the music hadn't started yet. I think I would return for a specific performer but not on a whim like we did.

Kevin N.

Yelp
The venue and staff were great. As visitors that are used to other country bars, we had a weird time with the regulars. I've never seen the redneck angel dance done to 5 different songs in a 4 hour span before but here we are. Still a great time.
google avatar

Don S.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time on Friday night, plenty of great music. Wonderful concert I'd guess you'd call it by Tyler Rich. Good songs, plenty to drink, great service and polite customers. The line dancing lessons were fun to watch. I might have to learn at some point but I certainly had a great time all around. I'll certainly go back for quite a few visits.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Super fun country bar! I am quite new to the country bar scene, I wasn't sure if i would enjoy it but I really liked it and had a good time. My fiancée and i came on a sat night during the rodeo, we got there early so there was plenty of sitting space, the club is really big and has 2 bars , a dj and a mechanical bull. We had a nice evening having drinks and watching people dance, a , the cover is $10 and drinks are up there but they give you a good size serving. This club would be a place to bring out of towners and just have a good time.

Howell S.

Yelp
Awesome folks! Very friendly people! Great atmosphere, fun decor. A good place for a party!

Michael S.

Yelp
Excellent service and a wonderful venue. Bartenders were quick and kind. Will return. CCRP

R.J. G.

Yelp
Be careful and pay with cash. I got over charged twice. Once at the bar, which was taken care of and the other when I got the charge on my credit card. Have tried to call but no one wants to transfer me to a manager or I leave a message and no one calls me back.
google avatar

Yelp
My friends are I are regulars! We love Stoneys and have for years. We love Tyson, Chad, Nick, McClain, and Courtney! Great dancing, great people, great environment, amazing music. I recommend Stoneys to anyone visiting Vegas. Only things I would change, periodic Fridays (maybe once a month) without live music AND no more 18+ nights. Military/first responders in free every night would also be nice. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Devon S.

Yelp
Going to Stoneys is a fun place to be, I am always having a good time with my friends. The is service and staff is absolutely incredible. The security is always keeping us safe and the girl security guard named Kelsey helped with all my questions and made my night enjoyable. 10/10 recommend a country night of fun!

Beth M.

Yelp
We used to love going to Stoneys. Great music, good atmosphere. However lately it's gone downhill. The music is not really country anymore. It feels like any other night club. The dance lessons are a bit much. And what really made up our minds not to go back was this last time. I ordered a shot with a little ice. I get that everywhere I go. However I was charged 5 dollars for ice. I've never heard of that before. It's ice!!

Marisa R.

Yelp
DJ Manda and Bartender Bri are the BEST!!!!! They are both one of the reasons why my friends and I go to Stoneys. Manda is super kind, will always play your requests, amazing instructor, just overall such a great human being. Bri is the same. Super friendly, great bartender, if you ask her for a sweet drink but are unsure about what to get she will make you a drink and I guarantee you will love it. I love these girls both so much. Definitely 10/10 service from them both. Stoneys would crash & burn without them !!!!
google avatar

Y Y.

Yelp
Was assaulted here on 3/5/22 and notified security. Fred, the security guard with the red beard who acts nonchalant about everything told me he would look over the tapes. An hour goes by and he said that I must have been in a "blind spot" when it occurred. He talked to the individual and let him off with a warning. Thats it? So good to know if you lay your hands on someone else you wont get kicked out of stoneys. They will just pretended like it never happened and let the person who hit me go on about his day. This isnt a real country bar. All the guys in here wear cowboy hats and belt buckles when most of them have probably never worked at a ranch in their life. Theyre just posers.
google avatar

Courtney D.

Yelp
We love Stoneys! The atmosphere is always fun and it's definitely one of the few places playing good country music in vegas! The bartender Bri is always friendly and remembers us whenever we come in :) Our favorite place to come out and enjoy a drink!
google avatar

Beverly M.

Yelp
I was riding the bull & my bracelet fell off of my arm! It's a silver chunky bracelet with a bunch of lines. Hoping you guys can get back to me. In my video it fell off my arm when I fell off the bull! If you guys could check the lost & found that would be appreciated.

Yelp
Firs time inside Stoney's. Really great prices and the cover charge was cheap. I tried my best to learn one of the line dances, but failed horribly. I still had fun though. You should definitely check it out.
