Found everything I needed quickly and easily. Produce was fresh and deli man Lyric was was fast, accurate and pleasant. Young lady at the self checkout was helpful and friendly. In and out in 7 minutes what more could you ask for?

The Bay Shore Stop and Shop is a horrible shopping experience... people who work there look like they are "doing time" and most are not helpful... I prefer going more and more to their other, better managed and cleaner, nearby locations or King Kullen locations... Too many issues to enumerate here how bad this location is for a pleasant shopping experience...

Week after week I come Monday at 4:15 PM after getting my daughter off the bus to get the fried chicken. Each week I wait about 1 hour for the chicken to be made and have a conversation with the man responsible for making it letting him know he should have it ready for dinner time. Same thing every week. This week I went to customer service only to find it wasn't staffed since there was a customer rush at checkout. Please consider how absolutely deplorable of representation of one of the biggest grocery chains this is. Do better. And the stupid robot almost knocked me over.

This supermarket is always clean they're very friendly and helpful there is little to no wait and you are in and out the hot food is so good the chicken is phenomenal honestly I don't go anywhere else

Standard typical stop and shop.. always well stocked and selection is good.. parking is decent..

Strawberry produce in this store is molded and spoiled the peppers are all old has big inside it seems to be a common thing in this store . I highly recommended going to another stop and shop and don’t then god forbid you open them all you see if it’s mold and sale associates at nasty oils who doesn’t wash there fruit that is nasty sir come up with a better excuse because wasting money on strawberries that go bad in a day isn’t worth it . Didn’t realize opening the package of strawberries to check for molded strawberries was a crime. Fruits and vegetables shop else were trying to sell people old molded fruits so horrible.

Warning Beware: that when you key in your phone number into the keypad to provide your Go rewards number at a manned register, that you double check your receipt for your correct Go rewards number. Somehow either the cashier or register software is switching the Go rewards number when at the manned register.

Me and my wife went to Stop & Shop at 533 Montauk highway Bayshore New York . What peppers Poland Spring water. The sign they have for Spring water Is sitting right on top of the Poland Spring water. As the picture shows. So I misunderstood the sign. And I bought a 4 pack of peppers. So the bill came out to $33.99. I said there couldn't be. Again I misunderstood the sign. The problem is when I went to return the water I had just stepped out the store and I turned around and went back in. To return the water and the lady at the customer service department. I believe she is the manager. Was very very sarcastic And not what I would Expect From my supervisor. I wish I could record a conversation to get the money back. But what she did say was being that I picked up the pollen Spring water instead of the Natural Spring water. What's very Confusing to me as she said why didn't the register give you the price. Well because then the lady worked in a register would have been wrong and she would have gotten trouble. Anyway Me and my wife always went to the store but with this incident and treated was not good so I'm not going back in the store anymore.

There I was in the wine isle when all of a sudden, that Son of a gun Marty came up behind me and scared the daylights outta me! So much so that he made me drop my fresh bottle of Josh wine. Lesson learned. Don't go wine shopping with a robot LOL!! Service was good though.

Yesterday came in to shop and I had to use the bathroom and I saw this beer can't underneath the toilet. I came back today again because I forgot one little thing I had to pick up really quick and I had to use the bathroom and guess what we're still there? This is proof that they don't clean the bathrooms well.

The attitude of customer service and attitude of the assistant manager. Went into the store one day to customer service. It was 8:45 in the morning and nobody was at customer service. I asked and a lady came out of the office with an attitude and said it's not open because I'm counting money.. and I asked her don't you count the money tonight before and how long will you be? She said 30 minutes and I said how much are you counting $1 million?

This is my favorite Stop and Shop on the Island. It is where I go food shopping before I hop aboard the Fire Island ferry, which is just a skip and a jump away. The produce is fresh and lasts in the fridge for days. It does not spoil as quickly as it does in some other grocery store chains. No bruised tomatoes! No brown bananas! No fruit flies! There are plenty of international foods to choose from, too. I buy my plantains and mangoes here. Every shelf is stocked well, and the floors are clean. No products are sold past their expiration date! This store is well managed. There are plenty of customer service associates walking around, asking shoppers if they need help. I clip digital coupons on the Stop and Shop website and download them to my loyalty card Adding my card to Apple Wallet makes the check-out process faster. Be sure to "Check In" to the Stop and Shop in Bay Shore. You will get good deals for quality food.

Carmen the woman at checkout has an attitude! No greet hello and from the moment I asked if there was a limit as it was register #1 she had an attitude. In fact she couldn't even verbalize a yes or no. Alls she muttered was ah ah or uh ugh when I tried to ask her 2 more questions. I thought she was having a bad day until a Spanish woman came up behind me and she was like "hello sweetie" . Im sorry I'm not the right color! I'm a kind person, I've recently $35 there to feed the vagrants hanging out in the parking lot there. Nasty and I'm not going back...

Large selection of foods. A lot more than some other stores. A little more pricey, but has what you want. Hoping with the better fuel prices, item prices will come down.

This store is pretty organized. The produce section is bigger than most locations. Quality can be hit or miss. Usually always has what I need. Checkout area can be tight and not many lanes are open the few times I've went so far.

Horrible store not helpful at all. My digital coupon wasn't working cashier said he couldn't do anything about it. When I asked if he could get a manager he said he wouldn't. I had to get the manager myself to help me. When I told the manager that the cashier said there was nothing a manager can do the cashier said the manager isn't supposed to be giving me the discount. Will not go back. Plenty of other stores to spend my money at.

I don't know much about Long Island, except that it's way, way too long, with way, way too many people causing way, way too much traffic. But I'm pretty sure this is the best grocery store to stock up on all the foodstuffs you're going to need on Fire Island. Well, they've got everything I needed at least: 1. Meat. At first I was pretty worried that their lack of skirt steak was going to ruin my fajita night plan, but my man Lenny behind the butcher counter handled his biz, and we were good to go. 2. Beer. 3. All the condiments. 4. A solid selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, including shredded cabbage for making cole slaw that is literally the only thing I've ever found before my wife did. 5. Free samples. Thinking about fajitas, and ribs, and hot dogs, and all of that had me pretty hangry, and a nice lady was over in the deli selection with a beautiful tray of different turkeys, meats, and cheeses. (She did look a bit traumatized when I stacked them all on top of each other and shoved them all into my mouth at once, so we bought some of her cheese. It was good and cheesy.)

I don't recommend this location. Wasn't able to find anything easily the store basically has no staff. Walked around the store 3 times before I even found a worker who didn't know where any items were and referred me to a different worker who ignored me then told me he didn't know either. I went to customer service where there was no one. Eventually I was able to speak to Vita who was not helpful at all. I left before even getting all my groceries. I am very disappointed at the lack of service at this stop and shop location. Poor management and incompetent staff.

This is a pretty legit Stop & Shop! As far as normie supermarkets go, I often have flawless shopping experiences here. The parking is OK, the carts aren't broken and the place is HUGE. Wide aisles upon aisles of eats and goods for consumption. Bonus points for carrying GSB and other local brews. I managed to snag some Manager's Specials on meat and it was super cheap. Super old, maybe, but tasted just fine when fired up that night. Any who, as far as supermarkets go you can do far worse. Especially in the area. Do it. Protip: Watch out for weekend and FI ferry traffic. Protip 2: Speaking of FI, go online and order your food for FI delivery!!

This store continues to be mismanaged, under stocked and overpriced! Deli workers smoke as your coming in the front door! When all the stores were renovated this one was barely touched! The bathroom is usually dirty as well! I promise myself to drive the few extra miles to Shop Rite I'm so done!

The employees are poorly trained as to how to speak to customers. I apparently was using the scanner incorrectly at checkout. The employee who was monitoring the check out registers approached me, clicked her tongue, and stated, "you broke it now go to this other one" and conveniently her name tag was flipped backwards so I could not see it. I usually go to the West Islip location, it is like night and day, they know how to speak to people properly and respectfully. I will never come here again.

Not too bad although I wish there were more sales on the vegetables - the self checkout is nice and saves a lot of time but I've noticed there's definitely less cashiers in the regular check out lines now - also wish they had better gluten free options like more bagel options , cookie /brownie mixes

Worst stop & shop. No hand wipes to clean cart when you walk in the store, didn't see one hand sanitizer through out the store and cashier gave me a hard time to put a card in for me since I grabbed the wrong keys without my member card on it. Very disappointed

shop here all the time The bathrooms are really clean The staff is really nice and friendly. The self checkout machines are always working and if you need something you can get the manager fast, The deli department has boars head and they always slice the ham thin like I ask. Good selection of beer, The olive bar is also awesome and food is always fresh Great place to shop.

This the by far the worst stop and shop. Every time I go there is always something that's expired. The meat, juice were expired they don't stock there shelves, or get rid of stuff that expired. I went to get cheese and it was two months expired. The employees are rude, disrespectful when I told an employee. I wouldn't waste your time. Only with the bay shore location.

This is one of my favorite supermarkets and has been a family place to shop for a long time. I bought two boxes of Pop Tarts (peanut butter and PB & J), a box of oatmeal, Cranberry-cherry and Cranberry-mango juices, a four pack of Starbucks Iced-Espresso, and finally feta cheese to toss on my hamburger. Excellent! 'Nuff said.

Clean, not too busy since more people head to East Islip, large natural and allergen-friendly section. Shelves are always stocked, but if you go early Friday morning the new sale signs are often not up yet so shop carefully.

This is the worst Stop & Shop I have ever been to!!! It is really close to me but I would rather drive a ways away to go to one that is more satisfactory (or the King Kullen that is across the street)! These are my complaints: the bakery section is never stocked until 9:30 a.m. on a daily basis (they obviously don't care that there competition, the boutique bakeries down the road, have theirs out at 7 a.m at the latest), most of their employees sit around ignoring customers talking (usually complaining about working there, when, in this recession, leave....there's plenty of people to fill those jobs) or on their phones or listening to music, far too often the self check outs are closed or have no cash in them and it's just overall unkept (smelly and dirty). I want very much to like my neighborhood Stop & Shop but have a bad experience consistently every time I go there
