Food Industry Workers Pushed Hard for Unionization in 2019 | Eater
"A large, conveniently located supermarket near the family home that would have been the primary source of groceries for a Passover gathering of more than 20 people; on April 11, more than 34,000 of its New England employees, members of the United Food and Commercial Workers, walked off the job, prompting family members to refuse to cross the picket line—one relative summing it up bluntly as, “We’re a union family. I’d never cross a picket line.”" - Jaya Saxena
Never wrote a review as much. But I live near by the store and its pretty convenient. But my reason for putting a 1 star is because the dude that works there in late nights always feel like he never wants to be there at all. No motivation to put in the work and won't accept my change since its money. But his excuse was that "he has to count them." and doesn't feel like it since he is so much in hurry to go home, even though it's not near closing hours yet. lol buddy I've worked a convenience store and know how to do the job. Yeah, it's pretty annoying to count change. But you sign up for it and it's your obligation as a cashier to count change and accept payments and not to decline customers because your so much on a hurry to go home. Poor customer service and also, he will get annoyed and look at me funny when I ask him for a plastic bag for my snacks. Don't know what's his problem is. But he needs to get a different job at this point since he can't do his job/service right.

Ali is the best employee ever! He always makes me feel welcome and he’s the reason I always return to stop and shop. I don’t know if I would continue to come if he didn’t work here, I think he deserves the world, he makes me so happy and I always want to come to stop and shop hoping Ali is working. 100000/10 rating

Great place to stop in late at night and grab some snacks. I’ve been living on state street a few years now so the convenience of the location is 10/10. The workers are very polite and I’ve never had a problem here.

They are always very nice. I need quarters for laundry and they never complains when I come for exchange. Also I saw them give homeless people a lot of coins when they come in

Doesn't allow service animals for any reason. Was told to leave without being able to purchase anything even after identifying my dog as a service animal. The clerk told me she didn't care that it was a service animal that I had to leave.

I bought a black and mild payed with a five , guy behind the counter asking me for the change , an obvious slight, thinks I'm a guy who begs outside his store, I rip up a single and make it clear I live only to suffer people like him , feel a spree coming on...

Yelp
I was originally skeptical of the $50 price tag for delta vape but it's is significantly better than other $25 ones I have gotten and lasts much longer. Food selection is also solid

Yelp
Place sucks. Everything is upcharged by $5-$10. Charged me $50 for a delta 8 thc cart when Frances charges 35. Steer clear
