Amazingly simple but tasty food, cooked with care by our hosts. The best meat cuts we have had in Lithuania for a long time. Really enjoyed the good bye scotch on the house before leaving. We will comeback.

Four of us who were touring had a wonderful evening at this delightful, cosy restaurant. In fact, it was my favourite restaurant for the whole trip. The food was brilliant and so was the beer. The manager and server were very friendly and courteous, and they contributed heavily to making the evening special. VERY highly recommended! (We had meals only but I gave 5 stars to everything because it seems each category has to be rated in these reviews.)

No wheelchairs are welcome. But it’s not the main problem. A site looked pretty good, except for the evil old man at the entrance. No one started talking to him in Russian, but hearing an apparently Eastern European accent, he suddenly started hysterics, saying that he didn't speak Russian and didn't let him in in the best traditions of the guards of Czechoslovakia in the 80s. Although no one asked him to speak Russian, Polish, Ukrainian or Czech. Madness. Such people do much more good for evil than propagandists. And in Lithuania, the majority are not like him, but normal. And the EU and government's policy is not aimed at discriminating against people with an Eastern European accent - in no circumstances. Living Lietuvoje few years it was first time with this experience :( All languages, accents and places of birthdays have been always welcome Lietuvoje, exclude one certain place with a guard. Let's hope that in a few years he will go to another world in, and the beautiful independent and hospitable Lithuania will be left without him. But the review will remain. I wish it would happen sooner. Please.

We had a great evening with very good food! The owner is very attentive and caring for his clients. We had an exceptional treatment, my partner mentioned we couldn’t manage to order varenyky (with cherries) and he immediately went to the kitchen to organize it. Just amazing! It brought me so nice and warm feelings from my childhood. And varenyky were veryyyy delicious! Also a very important fact: there are menus in lots of languages and staff speaks English.

The decor is beautiful. The service was exceptional. Both the owner and the server asked how everything was several times. The food was good and the portions were generous. I ordered the chicken and it came with rice and a small salad. I recommend it.

This was the best meal during our week in Lithuania. We came on the first day they reopened after covid but if they didn't tell us, we would have never guessed. The food was out of this world, very generous portions (I had most of my main for lunch the next day) and great friendly service. So glad we got to eat here and can't wait to come back!

Very cosy restaurant with a nice host who meets you and ready to tell you some stories (not so typical for Lithuania). Food is delicious and serving is very nice. The interior is unusual - a lot of old artefacts and photos with famous guests. And pay attention to music track while visiting wc (the host is a former seaman)

Delicious food , amazing staff , not overpriced. Respect to owner who doesn't sell himself over his heart. But better book in advance to be sure You will have to enjoy their hospitality and amazing food.
