Great vibe, fresh ground espresso & coffee, served fast with a smile. This is a walk up place, with street parking (parking meter). The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, the coffee has great flavor, they pretty much check all the boxes if you’re in the need for a great brew. They also have assorted pastries & a few non coffee options on the menu. The do have an accessible ramp for wheelchairs as well.

Google
The coffee was really good. I got an Oat-milk latte with honey, to go. They did not have a wheelchair ramp but I was able to order from the walk-up window. Good location, good customer service and the wait for my coffee wasn’t long at all. I will return.

I try local coffee shops whenever I travel. I have my own mobile coffee business and have a discerning palate when it comes to coffee. My go-to drink to try at each new place is a hot mocha latte. Story Coffee Company made a great mocha—milk steamed properly (silky fine micro foam and correct temp), not too sweet and the double shot of espresso had a great full presence in the cup—great flavor not drowned out by the milk. The barista was friendly and happy to talk shop with me. we loved the tiny home turned coffee shop building.

Google
We try coffee everywhere we go, and Story is easily one of our top 3. The espresso is so smooth and rich! My personal favorite is the purple rain latte, made with their homemade lavender syrup. It’s great both hot and cold. We ended up going 3 times in one day between the two locations. The last time I went was just before closing, and the barista was SO sweet, even though it was the very end of her shift…she was so pleasant and happy. She made me feel welcome and it made all the difference at the end of a tiring day! I just had to have one last cup before leaving Colorado Springs! I selfishly wish they were a national chain, but then again, Story just charming and perfect the way it is :)

Once inside this tiny house, you immediately feel cozy and warm. I was instantly charmed by its modesty. I personally love small spaces as I find nothing is wasted and it feels more intentional in the way you use the space. I ordered the sea salt caramel latte and I loved how it had the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness. You can tell the owners care about the quality of the coffee they serve and who makes it. Don’t overlook this place because you would be missing out on some good tasting coffee.

Google
Such an amazing cafe with incredible service and wonderful drinks!!! I had their honey vanilla latte and LOVED IT - it’s the best latte I’ve had in a long time. My interaction with my cashier (didn’t catch their name but had such cool piercings and was so kind) was absolutely lovely! Definitely coming back and really enjoyed my time here. 🥰🥰

Google
So cute! A lovely tiny “home” coffee shop in the most beautiful park in Downtown Colorado Springs. Wonderful, friendly service on a Friday morning. I enjoyed my hot mocha with almond milk. Great place!

Google
My husband and I stopped here for the first time today and we're glad we did. The guy working was very friendly and the honey vanilla latte was sooo good. Our new fav coffee place, cant wait to go back!

Yelp
What do you want in your coffee other than smooth quality, convenience and kindness? Look no further! Positioned right in Acacia Park behind the stage, Story Coffee provides a "tiny house" coffee experience for us to enjoy. There are a few shaded tables and high chairs on their "tiny deck" as well. Thank you Story!!

Yelp
I'm always in search of a great coffee shop! I'm the type of person who says every single night, I'm going to bed early then decides it's a good idea to lay awake in bed after I've meditated, book a trip to Korea, randomly register for the Coeur d'Alene marathon and before you know it going to bed early was simply a dream of a good idea. I wake up needing to jump start my day and my fav way is always a perfect latte from somewhere yummy! I have a couple fav spots in town and I try very hard to not be a total creature of habit so I told myself I wouldn't go to the same place every day for a week. I wanted to take a chance on somewhere new. Enter Story Coffee, the cutest little coffee spot located alongside a park. Adorable! I tried their seasonal gingersnap latte with oat milk. Very tasty! Great service! Very friendly and helpful when I asked about the neighborhood, their recommendation for breakfast was perfect :) Highly recommend! Limited seating indoor, but their location is great for exploring the surrounding area.

Yelp
Super cute little joint with awesome service and delicious coffee. My friends and I went ice skating and decided to stop here for a warm drink. Two lattes and a hot chocolate. The nice gentlemen who was there was very patient and kind. Definitely enjoyed the coffee and will come again when I visit DT. (They have alternative milks)
google avatar

Yelp
Extremely tiny coffee house! We enjoyed our lattes! We had an iced caramel latte/half sweet and hot ginger snap latte. Both had great flavor. I really liked the espresso that's used here. The barista was friendly and professional. They have three small, round high top tables inside and a bench along the opposite wall with some seating on their patio. Most people opted to get their coffee to go.

Yelp
Great little coffee spot! This is just a coffee cart. You order and wait at the window. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. My coffee and scone were delicious. I love the story of this place! You should check them out!
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
This is a very small coffee shop. You can order at the window or go in an order. There are like two tables inside. This is definitely a take your coffee and go on with your day type of place. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I ordered the golden latte which is essentially a turmeric milk latte. This drink does have a kick to it because of the turmeric so may not be for everyone. It's a great drink to just kinda help with digestion. We did come here when we read about the homemade pop tarts but sadly did not see any when we were here.
google avatar

Yelp
Tiny, cute coffee shop with the best iced honey vanilla latte. Loved our coffee with the perfect sweet, coffee, and milk proportions. Great spot for AM iced coffee!

Yelp
5/5 - Small but Mighty, Truly Special! Story Coffee Company is what I'd call "small but mighty." The little shop may be compact, but it's packed with character! The decor is full of interesting details that tell a story, and you'll definitely want to take the time to look around and appreciate it all. The coffee was excellent--perfectly brewed and exactly what I needed. The staff was also incredibly attentive, double-checking our order to make sure it was just right and tasted great. You can really tell they care about what they're serving. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
First time coming here in downtown Colorado Springs. Super cute small coffee shop with outdoor patio seating. The worker was very nice and the coffee was tasty! Will definitely be back to try the seasonal drinks.

Yelp
I didn't get any coffee but I did grab some beans!!! I like to stop in at popular coffee places when I go to certain states and this one was a top rated spot! Very cute mini house that is a coffee shop! I loved it! Price of beans are good and when we got home and tried the beans I was sad I only got two bags!! If you're in Colorado Springs area stop by this coffee spot you won't regret it!
google avatar

Laci D.

Yelp
What a great little spot! We love strolling through downtown with a coffee in hand and Story provided exactly that. They were friendly, reasonably priced and the coffee was smooth and delicious.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Pretty solid coffee. Nice staff. Location..well they're surrounded by homeless people.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute rustic mini cabin next to a park within walking distance to a gym and library that has good prices on coffee and pastries as well as a "legendary" hot chocolate. The baristas were fun and opened promptly at the posted time (on a Saturday!)

Cw K.

Yelp
The barista was fine at the beginning, but after he saw that I didn't include any tips on the iPad where I can choose the tips, he just took away the iPad and threw it on the table. I was standing in the cold and order from a small window. What service did I get?
google avatar

Rika M.

Yelp
I had a job assignment in Colorado Spgs this weekend so I left my DTC home early enough to investigate downtown Springs to discover one of a kind independent shops (coffee to be exact) and stumbled upon this unique store today. Lucky me! The baristas welcomed me with a friendly conversation. I kept telling him that the store was super cute and he thanked me each time for the compliment I paid. In this tiny building, the layout of the shop inside is amazingly well-coordinated. They do have some branded cute mug cups as well as t-shirts (I ended up buying one of the special edition cups for the celebration of their 2nd location opening) which was a bit pricey (it was a special design one by some locally(?) famous artist) but is a nice souvenir item it back ALL THE WAY to Denver (lol). My double espresso was a bit too sour to my liking but I didn't mind it as this morning's experience at this quaint place was such a pleasant one where I was able to get my early morning going in a nice way.

Yelp
This was such a cute coffee spot, modern ambiance and the service was perfect. I ordered the mocha and it was perfect. They also have a passionfruit tonic which isn't for everyone! Pick it if you're feeling adventurous! Overall 10/10! Would come back again!

Yelp
Cool coffee shack shining in the morning sun, beckoning me for my fix. The women behind the counter were attentive and friendly and made an amazing latte. This is my new go to place in the Springs when I come to visit the kid at CC. Highly recommend.

Janet U.

Yelp
This place is very small but their products are great. If you've never had tumeric in your coffee, then the Golden Milk Latte is delicious.

Yelp
On my top five list of favorite coffee shops. Simple, charming, cozy, inviting, full of character, and amazing coffee and baked goods too. They roast their own beans, the baked goods are $3 a piece (great price!) and they are scrumptious. I am not gluten intolerant but the blueberry muffin was speaking the me. Aside from the GF texture (not my fave) it was 10/10. It was blazing hot so tried an iced latte with oat milk. And it was done right. This little shop is small but mighty. A few seats inside and out. Surrounded by a little grassy area- perfect to throw out a blanket and chill. I knew from the moment I parked and saw this place that I would fall in love. It has the "it" factor and I think you will fall in love too. A shout out to the super friendly and talented staff. You rock!

Angela R.

Yelp
Amazing coffee! My husband and I would come in from South Colorado Springs into the downtown area just to get this coffee. It's not a restaurant nor bakery. It's sort of a stand with a very busy window because everybody knows how good the coffee is!
google avatar

Dallas T.

Yelp
A great cup of coffee and an excellent espresso. The folx who work here had great conversation and were amazingly friendly. Location is small and cute, I thought it was going to be pretentious or weird but it was very sweet!

Anna S.

Yelp
How cute is this place? I love unique small businesses like this. The ladies working were very nice and I really enjoyed my iced latte! Thank you! *note* I accidentally first left this review on Story Coffee instead of Story Coffee Co. Just to clarify for anyone who may be confused, they are two different places! This is the one inside a tiny house on Bijou.

Yelp
This company provides some of their proceeds to a local food service for those in need, AND makes amazing fresh coffee and fun treats. The service is efficient even when there's a rush and very personable.

Fountain A.

Yelp
Coffee is 10/10 Most of my experiences here have been excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, great coffee, wonderful regulars, excellent area & good staff. If you show up on a day Samuel is working you're sure to be greeted with a smile & have a delicious coffee in your hand quickly. I've had a couple experiences with some other staff that left a little to be desired. One woman with curly hair seemed like she was upset at my questions and another tall thin gentlemen a couple days later never looked up while speaking to me. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day but maybe something that could be improved upon at the downtown location. But overall if you're looking for excellent coffee this is the place to be.

Yelp
What a charming casita of a coffeehouse! The barista was super friendly. I went with an iced americano with a splash of milk. Loved the ambiance both inside and outside on the "balcony" of the casita. They utilize the space very efficiently, and it's an absolute delight to hang out here.

Yelp
Fresh & delicious latte with a nice view of the mountains. The service is great, too!

Yelp
My husband and I try to find a new coffee place in the Springs every Saturday morning. We've been meaning to come to Story for sometime now and are so glad we finally made our way here! The baristas are incredibly friendly and hospitable. The shop itself is situated in a tiny home on Bijou. The major perks of the store are of course the coffee, but also the price and ethics of the company. Each purchase goes towards providing meals to those who need them within the springs. This might lead you to believe the prices are exorbitant, but they're really not! A drip is $2.50 and a specialty latte is less than $5. They also offer typical drinks like americanos, chais, and single espresso shots. The store also has artisan pop tarts and pastries (including GF and VEG options). We bought a bag of whole being local coffee and it was delicious! We have since visited twice. We have tried they're cold brew as well as their sea salt caramel latte with oat milk both iced and hot. All of the drinks we have had are seriously delicious! You also cannot beat the price. This has definitely become one of our go to coffee spots!

Yelp
Located in Aracia Park on E. Bijou St is this cute little tiny home coffee stand. It's air conditioned inside with a few tables and seats on the patio. You get the view of the big blue fountain and the park. Right next to the stand is the public restroom. My first choice was Honey Vanilla Latte but then I saw "SEASONAL OFFERINGS". So I asked and got the iced hazelnut mocha and it was so creamy and buttery. Tasted like Vietnamese Coffee. We also got a coconut chocolate blueberry scone and it was one of the better ones that we've had on this trip because it was completely moist. As if I was eating cookie/cake crumble.

Yelp
Hit this place every day after we discovered it! Everything was great! Tried a cappuccino, latte mocha and golden milk latte. Thoroughly enjoyed all of then! The gf strawberry rhubarb scones were amazing!!!
google avatar

Tamie F.

Yelp
This is literally the only coffee shop we will visit in CO Springs! Not only do they have great coffee and amazing pastries, but they also support a good cause with every purchase. It's a really cute space with a few indoor and outdoor seating options as well as a walk up window. This was perfect for us because we are trying to limit in person interactions while traveling and needing good coffee. Did I mention the delicious pastries? I had a oatmeal cream pie that made me sad I couldn't have one every single day. They didn't have them the next two times we went back and I cried a little. But then I tried their scones and felt immediately better, way better! They are fluffy made with fresh fruit! Their peach pop tart was flaky and scrumptious. Lastly, the banana bread was very good, but my least favorite. That being said, I'd eat it again so it's not bad in any way! Don't try the cold brew cherry soda or do and let me know if you regret it too!

Yelp
Okay, lets start with the aesthetics of this place - Absolutely adorable. Tiny coffee shop that is simple in its decor yet so very put together. Elegant and not overdone. This in important for me. I get uneasy in places that are overstuffed with decoration.. It makes me feel crowded. So when I walked into Story, I was pleasantly surprised by how little they have in there.. and immediately felt at home. And speaking of home, the staff is so friendly and treats you like family. Super sweet and they were so gentle with my babygirl who was in a terrible mood that morning. So of course this momma was even happier with the place. Now lets talk about the important thing - Coffee. I ordered a cappuccino which was served beautifully in a to go cup. The sweet barista even helped me add sugar to it since I had my hands full with a toddler who did not want to be put down. The coffee was delicious. Im not a coffee snob AT ALL. I mean, for me any coffee is good coffee. And bad coffee is better than no coffee...So I dont know the ins and out of fancy beans... but this cappuccino was delicious and creamy. I will definitely be visiting more often. If you are in the area and need a pick me up - definitely check them out.

Ginny C.

Yelp
This used to be my absolute favorite coffee spot, perfect location and great drinks. This past summer Idk what happened but I feel like it went pretty downhill, my regular order tasted different every single time and they were always out of something.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Coffee here is soo good! The ladies working here aren't the friendliest but the coffee and scones are so good!!!
google avatar

Cade C.

Yelp
This place has the best coffee!! Awesome shop with great service. Can't beat the location!

Jenna F.

Yelp
Cute, great customer service, and delish coffee! I was in town visiting a friend and will certainly be back again ;)

Brittanie M.

Yelp
The absolutely cutest coffee shop. Indoor and outdoor seating. The barista was more than helpful with our questions and chatted with us about our trip. We all got sea salt caramel lattes over ice with an extra shot and it's just what we needed. We plan to swing back by before heading home. The perfect ambiance!
google avatar

JoAnna G.

Yelp
Cute coffee spot by the park! Had the honey vanilla latte with oat milk & an americano. Both were delicious
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute spot to stop by for coffee or tea. Friendly and quick service. Kiosk was clean and neat. I ordered the Bhakti chai which had a strong ginger flavor and a unique spice. I enjoyed it and look forward to trying their coffee sometime.
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
Right on the edge of the park is a tiny house with a coffee shop inside! Story Coffee is a cute shop run by a friendly local couple. I got their sea salt caramel latte and liked that it wasn't too sweet. They have a small wrap around patio with covered seating, perfect for enjoying your drink and people watching. For bonus points, they also have vegan treats and free wifi!
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
This is an adorable, craft coffee bar inside a portable tiny home, right off the main drag in downtown Colorado Springs. No question, the coffee was excellent, as were the multiple bags of whole beans I took home to grind. The staff also couldn't have been friendlier or more thankful. Unfortunately, the location is surrounded by homeless encampments, and the streets that should be filled with the delicious aroma of coffee are drowned out by the stench of stale urine and feces. We were harassed both on the way in and out of the coffee shop by vagrants, which certainly dampened the experience...we could not wait to get back to our hotel.
google avatar

Spencer M.

Yelp
Cool concept. Small to hang out in but works if you're committed. Great coffee. Great vibe. Great staff.

Keno M.

Yelp
Coffee and service were decent but sheesh the prices are crazy for what you end up getting. Not gonna waste my money here again. Cute building tho.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
Such a cute little shop in a park on Bijou in Colorado Springs. The barista was very friendly. I tried 2 drinks- the honey vanilla latte and the sea salt caramel latte. The sea salt caramel was the winner for me!
google avatar

Mustafa M.

Yelp
Great coffee roasts. Little place in downtown with a limited bakery menu. I got the Tanzania roast, a light roast with excellent citrus notes and mild-mid acidity!
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and espresso from a charming, well designed and branded tiny house in Downtown Colorado Springs. The owner was working behind the counter and kind and engaging. As their namesake, there is a good story and purpose behind their brand and coffee-- love that. Ordered the Salted Caramel Latte after reading a good review about it here. So glad I did-- the espresso was smooth and the drink was not overly sweet as flavored lattes tend to be. It reminded me of a creme brulee! Bought a couple lovely bags of their whole bean coffee to take home and am excited to give one as a gift. Noticed they are just a block away from a certain huge and popular chain. Hope they are around for a long time as it was clear in just the short time we were there that they offer something special to the community there. Will be back when in Colorado Springs!
google avatar

Yelp
This small shop embodies the essence of coffee- a drink to converse and connect over. The owners have traveled far and their experience lends itself to the simplicity seen here. If you have read "The Alchemist", you will understand what you find in this shop. To address a side note from another review, one of the owners started out his coffee journey at the Starbucks across the street. Everything has its purpose in life. On a non-metaphysical realm, I got a flat white- espresso blend is medium, slightly fruity which is accented by the almond milk. I can't wait until they serve it with oat milk.

Yelp
Great coffee stand for grabbing a cup (and maybe a guilty snack) on the go. They have some limited seating, but you always have the park that they are located on the edge of. Coffee was great, as was an espresso chocolate chip cookie. We also had a walnut & fig scone and a pumpkin loaf, both of which we really enjoyed. I'd give a slight nod to Loyal Coffee for their coffee, food, and seating, but the pastries at Story are so good and the coffee is a close second for me.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I stopped at Story Coffee Company on my way through Colorado Springs. It's a quaint coffee cart off the square downtown. It's a lovely spot! You can see the mountains from the street and enjoy the view as you sip their brew. They were quick to suggest some options for me, being out of town and based on what I'd originally ordered but they out of. It hit the spot for this coffee snob in need of her morning coffee fix.

Yelp
New coffee shop off Colorado Ave. We go to a lot of different coffee shops. this is sleek and modern. The menu isn't on the wall but on a small printed menu by the register. The coffee itself was pretty good but the service was completely lacking. We were the only ones there at the register so it wasn't like they were busy. The employee took the order and then drug her feet making the drink. She had a super sour face and we should not have tipped her for her performance. I know people have a bad day sometimes. Sometimes you just have to grin and make it happen for a few minutes. We were gone in less than 5 min. Not a lot to ask for in a service industry that relies on tipping. The outdoor patio looked really cute and would like to go back and enjoy some nice weather. But there are many other places that will enjoy your business. I think we'll go there.
