This past Saturday was absolutely AMAZING! Tommy and Stormy made us feel right at home serving us all the best drinks in the house while helping us celebrate my nieces bachelorette party. From the new pool tables, fabulous bartenders and delicious drinks to the entertaining DJ with the laser show. Wow! Definitely our new place to dance, unwind and let loose 💃🏻🎉🍹

My husband and I were visiting from Dallas and found Stout House on Tik Tok, so we decided to stop in for one round and ended up staying longer than we anticipated! The DJ was amazing and so were the bartenders. Will definitely return next time in town.

When ID’d at the door I presented my paper ID while I’m waiting for my new hard copy ID to come in (along with my hard copy expired ID) and was told they will not accept it. I’ve not had this problem at any other bars, clubs, or even at the casino as long as I had both the expired and the renewed copy and not just 1 or the other.

Asking for ID for folks in their 50’s. Not a shocker they’re dead. Lost a lot of money on a large party. Pretty stupid. Unfortunately your reply is as dumb and uneducated as your policy. TABC does NOT require an ID. TABC requires you not to serve minors. You should educate yourself and not try to lie your way out of a bad policy YOU made. We never have to show an ID at bars because we’re over 50.

me and my friends came on a tuesday to celebrate a birthday and kevin had the best service he was very attentive and quick thank you kevin you the real MVP!

This is one of our favorite spots/bar to hangout at. The place is chill and the atmosphere is real good. They have a good DJ that mixes those tunes and incorporates some of the 90's and 2000's hits. I usually order the Mexican Fruit Cup Pitcher and it never disappoints, it's tasty and the flavors are well thought out. Sometime Tamale Boy comes in selling their awesome tamales that pairs well with the libations...... Definitely a great spot to celebrate or unwind. No restaurant food, mostly snacks.

Great pub to have a brew with friends. Stop by and see their menu. They offer plenty of delicious ales and Pilsner. They also have various pub style appetizers and light drinks.

For a great day or evening with top service you must visit Stout House in Helotes ! They have a warm pub atmosphere with a variety of craft beers. The selection of liquor includes my favorite , Texas Ranger Whiskey ! They pay attention to drinking respectfully and keeping a fun safe place to enjoy your teams in most all sports . They have huge tvs throughout for easy viewing . UFC fights are the most popular attractions to view. They host birthday parties and even have a pool tournament on Saturdays . Go for their happy hour!! They play good popular music, and have these $6 pitcher margaritas. Here is the cucumber fresca with tajin rim so yummy. Servers was nice and attentive, cool atmosphere and they have a few tables outside !

First off! Tremendous service from Cassie as soon as I walked in! She started off the day with an awesome joke and a smile was right around the corner. She offered different beer choices and told me the drink specials as soon as I walked In. Great atmosphere and even better prices especially on a Wednesday aka whiskey Wednesday! It's a must visit for anyone after a long day or visiting the area! 5 stars!

This was a cool spot. They have a decent craft beer menu and the bartender was friendly and attentive. No food.

First time here. I'm from Indiana. Great beer selection. Bartender was very friendly. Small outside area for the fresh air. Decent prices. Blessedly, the music was kept at a good level.

This place is AWESOME! Great happy hour. They have great craft beer selection to go along with their full bar. They serve food so you are welcome to bring something in or have it delivered. They do provide food on Sunday during football season. Oh ya......THE BAR STAFF ROCKS!!

I wasn't a fan when I had gone. I had to send a dish back and get a new one, that's how bad it was. Dri k wrre the best part of the night but of course pricey bc its the stout and bc of the location. NO plans on going back.

Absolutely love our neighborhood area bar! We always have such a great time...great selection of beers, cocktails and wine. They are taking the Covid situation very serious, and are maintaining a clean, yet still fun environment. We had an amazing time this last visit, but had a slight computer glitch at the end of the night effecting our bill. Tricia (the GM) contacted me back right away, and was super helpful! Thanks to her amazing attention to customer service, we will continue being loyal customers!

I loveeeeeee Stout House!!!! Although I'm not a beer drinker it is to my knowledge that their selection of stouts is very welcoming. Their quick service and kind words have always made me feel important and cherished by the crew that mans the bar. Their music is ran by a jukebox, but thank Jesus the people who attend there have stellar taste in music so you'll groove all night long. An outdoor patio greets you warmly and their specials are consistent too. Easy place to chill for hours. **The girl bartender was rude once a while back without justification, but to avoid any negative feelings about Stout House I ask for drinks from the guys behind the bar.

I've been going to Stout House Bandera for almost a few of years now and it's my go-to spot. It's a great hang out place and the bartenders are awesome, especially Lele. She's incredibly fast, efficient and super attentive to all of the customers, not just her favorites (like me)

We walked in on a Friday night and went straight to the bathroom because we had to do our business. Then came straight out to the bar to order a drink, when we did the man (bartender) took our drink order, then came back and told us he was told not to serve us. We did nothing in this establishment to condone cutting us off from alcohol. This place survives off of locals and will never be more then just a neighborhood bar. Not worth the time and it has a shitty atmosphere. We were just ready to enjoy our Friday night and they took that away from us. Go to chilis for drinks instead.

I have sort of followed this place off yelp since it first opened but never actually made it out because of the reviews. We were invited out so we gave it a shot. First you walk in and the first thing that hits you is the smell of old stale beer Oh you know the smell- it's that sour, no one has cleaned the bar mats correctly kinda smell. Then your eyes adjust and you are like hmmm, for a place that is fairly new and in the outskirts of Helotes this place is really run down. Not like shabby cool- just like cardboard boxes on top of an open area., close to the ceiling - may be a fire hazard - but more like scary walk to the restroom kinda place. I actually saw a staff member clean the wood top table with Fabuloso and the stench permeated for some time- just what I want when trying l to enjoy a drink...... when you look around you see the obligatory beer signs but then you also note that there are a bunch of advertisements for upcoming events. Like too too many that it makes the walls look littered. With the word "stout" in the name of the place one expects to have lots of different kinds of microbrews. Sure they have one descheutes stout and one elisyan and maybe 2-3 but other taps are your big corp, beer (bud, Miller, etc). They do have full bar options. Moscow mules served in copper mugs though ginger beer was flat. There is no food in the joint but I saw several patrons walk in with pizza boxes from the place next door. The crowd was loud, obnoxiously loud. Not sure how many decibels this places hits but it must be ridiculously high- my ears were buzzing. Crowd- A little to old to be taking shots at 6pm but hey whatever. Appeared that highs school football parents & grandparents were getting ready for the season. The cont shrieking if one patron was enough to push is out of the place. That was our experience, so now how about sharing yours?

This is a very casual friendly neighborhood bar type of place. They have seating outside and plenty of seating inside. They have 2 quarter pool tables that you can hang out and enjoy a friendly game. The bartender was so helpful when I didn't know what I wanted to drink and her recommendation of Deep Eddy Lemon and cranberry juice is a new favorite now! She was the only one working, but no one went without a drink and she had a friendly smile for everyone.

Good music, nice service. The beer selection is legit, and they have a full bar if beers not your thing. They also allow you to bring in your own food. BYOF.

Love the bartenders the Lele and Nadia are awesome. They are friendly and always fun to be around. I just come in just to see the bartenders.

Went here for Harry Potter trivia with a group of friends. They don't have any food but you can bring pizza in from next door. Trivia was fun and drinks were economically priced. A-okay neighborhood bar.

First time to Stout House. I like it and will be back. First, it's a fairly small sports bar in an otherwise unassuming shopping center near the theater. I came here on a Sunday, watched the game, and the place wasn't too crowded. This is a major plus for me. I'm not sure how it gets on a Friday or Saturday. Let's get to the important part: there are tons of local beers on tap. They have circle blue. I'm sold. I can't read what other beers they have but they had my favorite. I'm sure their selection will satisfy most. They also have plenty of drink specials, so if you're with someone who doesn't drink beer, you can get an actual drink. I think they also have some sort of pub food available--the place currently smells of something fried--but I can't speak to that because I didn't try/ask. The prices are reasonable. It's a fairly small space: there's a touch tunes jukebox (awesome!), one pool table, darts, and some sort of beer pong table. There are plenty of tvs for a space this size, so watching the game was pleasant. There's also a small patio. One thing I didn't like is the tables. They have these long bench tables that seat 8-10 and the bar. So if you're a couple, you'll either have to take up an entire table or make friends. Depending on your comfort level, this may or may not appeal to you. I wished they had smaller, more intimate tables but whatevs. But this does bring up a larger point. I imagine if it gets crowded seating will be a problem if that matters to you. In any event, if you're in the area and want a good beer, stop in. I think you might enjoy it. I did.

Moved here 2 years ago and Stout House Bandera was the first bar my father and I ventured out to and instantly fell in love! We knew in that moment we would be regulars here. The atmosphere is very chill and neighborly. The bartenders are absolutely amazing. There are 2 pool tables and they also have 2 dart boards which I love to play. A great selection of beer, booze, and seltzers ( you can also find yourself a good ol' shot of Malort here) It's a great place to bring friends and family if your looking to have a few drinks, play some games, have awesome conversations, and meet great people. If you like to watch sport and have a brewski they are always playing all the games and if you don't see yours just ask! They have been very accommodating when ever we ask for the Cubs or Bears game Love this bar

Nadia made the best Long Island iced teas only reason I come here because of her great service! Amd she is gorgeous!

Lele took great care of us and let me tell you the beer selection is amazing, especially if you don't drink the typical Mich Ultra and Bud Light. I mean they have it but the also have some great crafts as well. The shot selection is awesome. Lele suggested a root beer shot that surprised us! Go check it out, I loved the atmosphere!

Awesome place! Great staff and patrons alike. The drinks are good and priced just right and it is the best place to watch your favorite sports team.

Met up with a group of girlfriends here on a Saturday night to catch up and it was perfect. Our bartendress was awesome, the drinks were quick and the environment was chill. There were lots of open seats; I don't know how to explain it - inside setup looks like picnic-type high bar tables everywhere, Lol! Forgive me, I don't even know if that's typical. Just something I've seen for the first time. There is also a patio outside. Location is great! There is a pizza place next door, cupcake shop close by and a Silverado movie theater within walking distance. No issues with parking. A great hangout spot to stop by before or after a movie, shoot some darts, play beer pong and get a few drinks. Only downsides are I had a Long Island and a Pineapple Rum and didn't get a buzz (usually I'm good with just a Long Island), and they don't serve any food/appetizers (NADA). So, great hangout place, but not for strong drinks or snacking ;)

Stormy was the best at helping me when I was there! Made the best drink ever & we had a nice convo. Saw some familiar faces & had a great time!

Came here because we read online they had Summer Shandy. Walked in, no Shandy. The waitress was not empathetic to our fruitless search either. We sat down with our group and asked if someone was going to come take orders/start a tab and she said only for the first round and then it was every man for themselves. Our potential for a large tan took our business down the way instead.

Was there on a Saturday, and Nadia was probably the best bartender I've had in a while! Great beer selection, offered a wide variety of shots for us, and was very attentive to all the guests at the bar! Will definitely be back!! Thanks Nadia!! Too bad your cowboys lost yesterday!! Go Bucs!!!

Went in December 15th and was greeted by a super nice bartender. He was so cool and made us super good drinks. We each had one pitcher of a peach Long Island. Loved the atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars but after the guy got off shift a girl went on shift and she had the worst attitude. Super rude to us and told us we needed to be careful how much we drank. We had only had the one drink a piece and babied it for a good while. I understand not over serving... but she was just ridiculous and barely gave us a beer. So because she had such an attitude we didn't even finish our beer we just left.

It's a great bar that has tons of beer, champagne, and liquor available!! The staff is hilarious with their bad jokes and dancing, but most importantly they are all nice!! The only thing that's NOT convenient about this place is that there isn't food available, but there are several options within walking distance!! They also have trivia, karaoke, and beer tastings... overall this is a great place!! Oh and it's DOGGY FRIENDLY!!

All bros. Good bartenders but stay away if you're over 23. Seriously. The atmosphere is all about someone trying to get laid.

This is my favorite local bar to go to for many reasons. 1st is because of all the local beers on tap & 2nd it has a very chill atmosphere. Everytime we go here it is not too packed and service has always been good to us. They have a nice patio to smoke and they are pet friendly! Every last Thursday of the month they do beer tastings for $10 and I really enjoyed attending to try out new beers. They really do care about their loyal customers and I appreciate that and love supporting local bars like Stout House! One suggestion I have would to have more variety with their beer selection and take into consideration customer's favorites they would like to see again.

The neighborhood bar everyone wish they had. Stout has a great selection of craft brews and daily drink specials. They typically show all the major sporting events on their many TVs. If you are looking for a drama-free environment this is the place for your. Kick back enjoy a drink and listen to good music.

I've never ever In my life have a bar gm send my debit card info from one bar to the next to see if I was there or not . Then when I get ready to leave my truck is on three flats . I called the owner mr William hue to try to rectify the situation and I was talked at and not listened too . Now we are here . Here ya go . They treat you like trash and when you don't accept their treatment, this is how they treat you . I'm out 700 for the tow and tires .

I've been coming to Thursday night trivia at the Helotes Stout for two years. By far, the best trivia spot in town.

Great place with a good beer selection. Trivia on Thursday at 8:00 PM is fun. The environment is dark & sports games are normally on. The bartenders are great.

Nice casual hang type of atmosphere. Music not too loud, drinks taste great. They have a really nice selection of mixed drinks that are catered to ladies AND men. Excellent service from waitstaff and bar staff. Will come back many times, it's a gem.

Beer was cold. Would have been much better with better service. Bartender spent all her time at the opposite end of the bar with 1 man. Noticed she even followed him outside to the patio at the entrance and interrupted them making out behind the front door as we left. Could be just my opinion but if you're working for tips, maybe you could treat all customers like paying customers. Although we don't live in the area, we are around about one weekend a month and will avoid this place.

So this was a discovery place we stopped by to wait for our movie. We ended up going right back after our movie for the mini pitcher drinks. Cool place, little pricey but decent place to chill for drinks

Talk about your neighborhood friendly bar, got introduced to this place a few weeks ago and I'm pleased beyond words. The bar before is gone thank god! Tap selection changes and so does the bottle selection and I'm a fan of the movement. This place made me a fan so bring your friends and family here to enjoy a few good drinks and make memories.

This bar features really great service with a great combination of beer and drink specials. If you don't drink beer, they do have hard ciders for you (which definitely helps when you're allergic to gluten). They do not have a food menu but you do have options in the plaza surrounding the bar. I definitely suggest coming if you're looking for a place to chill and relax with friends. They also offer great trivia on Tuesdays.

It's a great little bar, but if your looking to chill in a quiet location, this is not it. It's fun during sports and they have a digital jukebox try the 8 dollar mini pitcher drinks!!

Definitely a fun filled atmosphere with people of all ages hanging out enjoying the many TVs for sport events, pretty hilarious and fun Trivia nights, etc, plus a decent pizza place next store. Good selection of craft beers on tap. The other night they had Sculpin on tap too. That deserves four stars in and of itself.

We stopped in to have a beer after dinner. The atmosphere was great and had a large choice of beer and liquor. They also have a deal everyday of the week!
