"With its first location in Lansdale, Stove & Tap burst onto the scene as a lively bar and restaurant with creative cocktails and food. Anything featuring the slow-roasted brisket is worthwhile, including their Tap Fries, loaded with tender shreds of meat and a boozy cheese sauce. Dress down or up because the ambiance makes everyone feel welcome." - Sam Herring

Food was pretty good, not great. Pasta was a bit overcooked, but that’s typical for places like this. Beer selection is good. Atmosphere is great, and the staff are very friendly. I would be happy to return here for drinks and bar food, but it’s not my first choice for dinner.

Google
Gege took wonderful care of our party as we celebrated an early Father’s Day lunch! She was very attentive and provided wonderful service for us. We had such a good time! All the food was wonderful, and we ordered some of everything to try. We would highly recommend this spot and will be back.

Google
Food was mediocre but I still gave more stars because of the service. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and helpful. The crispy chicken sandwich was in fact crispy, and burnt. The meat was so thin no amount of drowning in slaw or sauce could save it. The All American Burger was cooked properly for both orders, but the biggest let down of all was when I checked the menu online it showed there was a steak option but when we got there, no steak. It wasn't on the menu in the restaurant at all which my father was really looking forward to. The brookie we got for dessert was hard as a rock. Only the very middle was edible which was a shame since it was so small. The fries were fairly standard, more soft than crispy.

This place is great! I am pretty local to the area and have been there a few times. My family has even had a baby shower in the upstairs bar. The food is always AMAZING. I only have an older picture, but I have to share how delicious it looks. The dinner is amazing!! Great for date night or gals brunch/lunch!!!

Google
I like the spicy grilled shrimp. It's not spicy but gets a tartare style. Deviled eggs are properly made but the flavor could be stronger. Brisket dip is good. The event host had the speaker too loud making it difficult for other guests/table chatting easily.

Good service. Simple but creative and well executed menu. This place is a local treasure

Yelp
This place is a cute little gastropub on the corner of the main drag in Lansdale. We came for a late lunch, so the restaurant wasn't packed. Due to this, the food came out hot and quick. We had the deviled egg appetizer. It was tasty, but I was bummed at the quality of the product. 2 whole eggs cut in half was $7. For our main dishes we ordered the 2/$17 combo. Well worth the price. I had the French dip with Caesar salad. The bread was crisp and the meat was soft and full of horseradish spread. I am not a fan of tomato's in Caesar salad. I think they don't belong, however in this particular salad I didn't mind it. My husband has the crab and potato soup and he was amazed with how good it was. We can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Had Saturday Brunch. Both of us got the (Smoked) Salmon Eggs Benedict. A wonderful variation of an old favorite! Also had the Shrimp and Avocado app (Spicy Grilled Shrimp). Delicious and not too hot! We'll get it again! Service was good in this Main Street restaurant in Lansdale. The only downside is having to find public parking. We found some about a block away. Not bad. They also serve $5 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's with brunch, for those who are interested...

Yelp
We had a pleasant experience here. The food was quick, and the drink list was nice. However, I had the blackened salmon blt, but it wasn't fresh, and the fires tasted stale. Definitely recommend for a drink and some appetizers after work, however. I feel they were understaffed, but our waitress was awesome and made sure we were taken care of.

Yelp
This place is very nice. It is located in downtown Lansdale right on the main road. There is a ton of seating at this place. They have a ton of seating at the bar and also table seating in the back. The cocktail menu was pretty good and had a good variety of drinks. I really liked the Waygu Sliders. They are so good! The meat was great quality and I really liked it with the brioche buns. The waitress was quick on the service which was nice as well.

Holly R.

Yelp
Went there for dinner and we shared a bunch of apps and got individual soup/salads. The burrata was delicious, but it's truly hard to mess that up. The sprouts and wings were VERY salty. We love salt and seasonings, but the sprouts were to the point that they hurt to eat. We took them home, and the next day roasted an entire butternut squash with no salt (just olive oil and black pepper) and mixed with the leftover sprouts and that was delicious and the salt leveled out. The Korean bbq wing sauce was fine. I would get a different flavor next time. Deviled eggs were good. And the Cesar salad, pear salad, and tomato soup were also good. Nothing remarkable. The food came out very fast and our server was incredibly nice and attentive. I'd definitely get the max and cheese next time. I do wish they had a few more vegetarian friendly dishes, like plain Mac and cheese, regular cheese fries. The flatbreads seem to be gone.

Theresa H.

Yelp
Dinner mediocre food, service was ok but it was way to noisy, lack of cocktail knowledge!

A S.

Yelp
My group got the Korean BBQ smoked chicken wings & the pork belly bao buns as appetizers. Bao buns were the perfect combination of flavor, I would highly recommend. I drank the galaxy lemonade (pictured) and a matcha yuzu sour (the meet your matcha in the attached picture was my mom's). The matcha yuzu sour tasted amazing, it was tart in a way that perfectly complemented the food. My main meal was the all American burger, which was very good. For dessert, I split the seasonal dessert (in this case, baklava a la mode) with my mom, it was amazing. Service was exceptional! I would highly recommend dining here.

Yelp
Been here a few times for takeout as well as dine in and I can confidently say, its just your average spot in an otherwise average town. Nothing is bad, don't get me wrong. Its just not amazing and I have a hard time believing that they themselves think they would go toe to toe with some of the better culinary options in the greater Philadelphia area. Nevertheless, it gets the job done, albeit for a premium. I find myself spending more here than I would like for the food, but that's ok. Ambiance is cool. Some knick knacks from the past to make it interesting if not entertaining. Service was a little weird at times, especially the take out experience with the hostess. She just didn't seem to care to be there. Never a good sign when the first person to greet you is just waiting for the time to pass by. If you want a decent spot for drinks, this might be it. It's dark and hip at night from what I can tell. Not really into that scene anymore myself but I think that might be what they excel at.

Sunny K.

Yelp
The Brussels sprouts are amazing and the other foods I've tried seems pretty great also. I would totally recommend this place! The food is so tasty!

Yelp
As a new resident of Lansdale, I was so excited to come here for dinner with my husband and Mom, who was visiting to see our new home and explore our new hometown. Current reviews are very split, and I was hoping to luck out, but unfortunately we weren't so lucky... Despite making a reservation, our table was upstairs right next to a bar that was converted into a serving station. It's a terrible spot of an otherwise charming restaurant. They had trouble seating the other table in this area; another group straight up refused to be sat there. I advise this business to remove the two tables next to this converted serving station. It's an unfair place to seat your guests in comparison to the rest of the space. The service was iffy. The staff seems overworked, like they need to hire or schedule more people. The waitress had trouble understanding that I wasn't finished with our appetizer - solely concerned with finishing bussing duties rather than providing excellent, thoughtful service. The food and drinks were good, but the service and table were enough to have us second guessing another visit. Doylestown is just a stone's throw away, and we'd rather frequent reliable restaurants there than come back to a place that feels beyond it's prime.

Yelp
Went there for lunch because it was convenient for my Temple student to hop on the train to meet us at the Lansdale station Apps - got the grilled shrimp, brisket mac &cheese and burrata. I'm going to spend the next week trying to copycat the tomato/avocado blend the shrimp was on. The rest of my family loved the others I got the seared tuna tacos with a side of fries and it was amazing. My daughter is asking me when we can go back for the honey crisp apple salad. My son loved the chicken & waffles. My husband and other son got pancakes and an omelette and they were fine (I think they missed opportunities for better orders) Others, have said it was overpriced. Yes, $12 is ridiculous for flour, baking soda and sugar..but that is what you pay for pancakes anywhere. I only got 2 tacos, but it was overstuffed with tuna. The value was there All told, it was $180 for lunch for 5 (with tip) but since we got apps, half of my and my daughters entree were also dinner (my husband and boys are human vacuum cleaners so they didn't have leftovers) We will be back!

Anna Marie P.

Yelp
Food wasn't bad, the service was good, and I loved the industrial farmhouse-esque aestetic. I do feel the prices were a bit steep for what you get, and the food menu was a bit limited, but I can't say that we didn't enjoy what we had. Hubs and i shared three appetizers: the brisket mac and cheese, tap fries, and wagyu sliders. Would have to say the brisket Mac and cheese was probably my favorite out of what we had, and we did have leftover Mac and fries among making these a full meal for both of us. Would probably venture back for happy hour drinks and apps, but I'm not sure it will be on my list to return for dinner.

Ami R.

Yelp
Local gem with great vibe, good gastro-pub food, and tasty drinks. Servers were attentive. Will definitely check out again...ps--get the Brussels sprouts!! Amazing

Yelp
TDLR: Great service, great drinks, great happy hour prices (ask for hh when you reserve/walk in, it is only available in certain spots) We went for happy hour after work and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely staff and atmosphere. Our waiter seated us at the high tops and took our IDs and later gave me a free drink because we share a birthday (taurus twins!). We ordered the house cabernet, the moscow mule and the margarita. All three were yummy and I was FEELING the happy in happy hour! From the happy hour menu we got the spinach and bacon flatbread and the loaded fries. The flatbread was fantastic, the cheese was ooey-gooey (great cheese pull, wish I got pics!) and definitely satisfied my happy hour craving. The fries were filling, they came with shredded pork I believe and cheese. I fished around for the un-loaded ones to dip in our side of ketchup. We stayed and enjoyed the lively atmosphere and our waiter came back to check if we wanted last call for happy hour prices. As we chatted, we heard the start of live music (fun surprise!). They had a live singer / guitarist jamming to some tunes which fit the vibe. Note: Happy hour is only available in certain areas of the restaurant, I think they said high tops and bar for sure. Make sure to request for happy hour when reserving/walking in. Parking was pretty easy to find and it's conveniently right next to the train station so easy for those commuting after work!

Nicole P.

Yelp
More of a 3.5- We stopped in for apps and drinks during happy hour. The drinks were okay. The happy hour food menu is a little misleading. We sat at the bar and the service was fine but the bartender was not that friendly. Ambiance is cool- wish the bar stools had backs though. Overall, an average experience.

Keith W.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a while. The food is still good. We had the deviled eggs, smoked Korean barbecue wings, salad, seared tuna tacos and the blackened salmon blt. The food was all tasty and the service was good. We ate at the upstairs bar with a good atmosphere. Took a long time for our food to come out so the bartender comped our deviled eggs. The presentation of the food was much to be desired. Overall good meal and seems to be consistent over the years.

Brandon K.

Yelp
I really love this place. Tonight was just another example why: Took my Grandfather and Mom out for dinner and had another great meal. I always appreciate the depth of the cocktail list and beers on tap to start the meal off here. Tonight we had the agnolotti, crab and lobster Mac and the salmon BLT. All were delicious and we had great service throughout the meal. Will be sure to get photos next time, highly recommend.

Sarah C.

Yelp
This is our favorite little town restaurant /bar. The food is always excellent and the drinks are made with love Awesome bartenders, and waitstaff.

Jill S.

Yelp
Always a great time. Great service and the brunch is perfect. Valentine's Day and bdays for adults is always a great vibe

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Visited Sunday for brunch with my girlfriends and we had a great time. Food was pretty decent in my opinion, particularly the huevos rancheros, the fries, and the sandwiches. French toast wasn't spectacular but the scrapple and sausage were excellent. Expected the chicken and waffles to be a bigger portion but the hollandaise sauce was a nice touch. We all agreed the drinks were fantastic. Extensive cocktail menu. Def would return if in the area again. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. Clean and not too crowded.

Nick R.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on a whim. Service was friendly and attentive. We were sat right away. Menu is straightforward but unique. They had a nice list of custom cocktails that all sounded great. My girlfriend and I split the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and a Thai themed salad. The sandwich was crispy, not greasy, and delicious. It was pretty mild for a hot chicken sandwich. The salad had nice Thai flavors to it with its own unique twist. It was nicely dressed, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Fresh, great tasting food. Friendly and attentive service. Stove and Tap is a great restaurant to check out if you're ever in the Lansdale area.

Dani M.

Yelp
I live very close to this restaurant but was never interested in their menu offerings so we never went. We agreed to meet friends there this past Saturday for dinner. My friend and I both ordered the overpriced brisket sandwich. This meat was unlike any brisket I've ever had. It wasn't fit for a dog! They should be ashamed of themselves to serve this tough, grisly almost inedible excuse for meat! The others at the table had the pasta and a burger, which was good. The server was good. I did not care for the table we sat at on the second floor where I was right next to the steps and had the stair lighting glaring in my eyes the entire time. I see no reason to go back again.

Laura S.

Yelp
Really enjoy coming here! Food is delicious and great beers on tap. Have sat both in main dining area and the bar. Both were very enjoyable!

Damon S.

Yelp
Great food and cool vibe. It's an excellent gastro pub where you can have dinner with your family or hang out with friends.

Alexander M.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this place reminded me of kitchen nightmares, the windows and seats were dirty and there was a dead fly smooshed against the window in the back corner. Everyone enjoyed the food but I was very nervous eating because of the state of the restaurant. There were also exposed wires hanging from the ceiling and a bunch of holes above us. The staff was friendly, but given the space we were in I don't think we'll ever be coming back.

John C.

Yelp
Not much atmosphere. Food is so so and way overpriced. Parking is usually hard to find. We live about a mile from there but won't know go.

Lisa I.

Yelp
A friend and I were in the area for an event and decided to stop in, the service and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I tried the drink special of the night and didn't like it, she could tell I didn't and immediately brought me something different. I'm one of those people who won't send anything back, so this was great for me (ha!). The menu selection is on the shorter side. But, the beer and drink specials were impressive. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat and hang out, this is your spot!

Sharon S.

Yelp
In the area and decided to stop in and eat here with my husband and 3 kids. We were seated quickly for it to be a Saturday evening around 7pm. It wasn't too busy. The greeters were very friendly as well as our server. The ambiance was ok a little on the darker side where we were sitting towards the back of the restaurant. I wasn't a fan of the seating arrangement the tables were close together. The food was good. I had the pork belly bao buns and shrimp appetizer. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger and the stove wings. We both also had the strawberry bangin lemonade, that was really good. My children had the Mac and cheese kids meal and the chicken fingers and fries kids meal. The kids meal was a nice set up on trays that came with fruit and vegetables as well as a cookie for dessert. My kids loved that. Overall it was a nice dinner and I would visit again.

Kristina M.

Yelp
Great happy hour spot. Good bar snacks and nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and gave great service.

Cassidy K.

Yelp
I love Stove and Tap! It's a wonderful environment with friendly staff. We were seated right away and given the option of booth or high top. The drink menu for fall and winter was very extensive and all so appealing! I had an espresso martini and the cranberry martini, which tasted and looked incredible. Both were excellent and my friends also enjoyed their choices. We only got appetizers but they were perfect for four! The appetizers are very large portions and cooked to perfection. I definitely would recommend the Brussel sprouts!

Paige G.

Yelp
I just went here for lunch with my Grandpa and my mom today. This was my first time here but my mom has been here a few times and always enjoyed the burger. My Grandpa arrived early and was already seated but we couldn't see him. The hostess took quite a long time to acknowledge us and then direct us to his table. We felt ignored. There were waters already on the table waiting for us. We looked over the menu and had to flag our waiter over. Orders included: the mushroom soup, the turkey BLT and the Brisket dip. There was another table that arrived after us. They ordered an app and had their food made way before ours came so I am not sure what was going on with our service. The food came out and everyone was enjoying their sandwiches. However, my soup was lukewarm so I asked them to send it back and heat it up. The soup came out nice and hot. Well as I was eating my soup, I noticed there were pieces of plastic in my soup! Can you believe it? I brought this to our waiter's attention and he took the bowl away right away. He then informed us that the manager would be out in a "few seconds." At least 10 minutes went by and we had to flag our waiter over to get the bill because we had to go. He came over and said the manager was too busy to meet with us. We were in total disbelief. How is a manager too busy to meet with his paying customers that could have choked on some plastic? The waiter then said they would take the soup off the bill.... should have had the whole meal comped. What an awful experience and I won't recommend coming here.

Fabrizio P.

Yelp
The food was definitely good. The server was on point. The overall ambiance was a fairly nice sort of industrial vibe.

Carissa I.

Yelp
I could see why this place is so popular. If you're in a mood for "Tappy Hour" this is the place to be. Most of the food we ordered were good. I had problem with was the Brisket Mac & Cheese - not enough brisket and the cheese tastes like Pizza Hut. It's street parking so if we haven't gone earlier, we would be looking for one. Otherwise the drinks are phenomenal, the pork belly bao buns, and deviled eggs were good! We will definitely back to try other drinks and food during Tappy Hour of course!

Anne M.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Ordered the smashed fingerlings, when I received them they were whole, not smashed, and had no seasoning and lukewarm. All the other food we ordered was good. We will go back, but if your menu states how something is served, serve it that way.

Matt M.

Yelp
This was the worst dining experience i have ever had in my life. The wannabe hipster asked for our drink order and then 10 min later came and asked for our drink order AGAIN. it was like deja vu. he blamed it on his ADHD... After our drinks come, he asks for our food order, then 5 min later another waitress came over and had to ask what we ordered again. Then, one order of food comes out and the next one comes out 10 min later... side note: there were multiple people who arrived and seated after us who were able to get their food, drinks, and check way before us. i truly don't know what else they could have done to make it a worse dining experience.

Ticee G.

Yelp
The food was great. Waiting 15-20 minutes for a table when there's a dozen empty was sort of irritating. Service was good after that. The outdoor seating was great!!' Quiet neighborhood.

Linda M.

Yelp
We were put on the waiting list with a 30 minute wait time. There were other people that walked in without reservations or on wait list that were seated immediately. We finally left to eat somewhere else. The text finally came in 1.5 hours later. How aboit being upfront about the actual wait time? Ridiculous!

Tony G.

Yelp
Service was bad. Had to send Tuna back. Was very under done even though it was ordered well done. By the time it was finally brought back everyone else at the table was finished eating. I cancelled my order. Waitress was very inattentive. Had to ask the servers several times to find her. We asked for more water twice before after a long wait I asked again. Obviously she forgot both times. Had to ask for the dessert menu. Etc. etc. When the check was brought once again she had a memory lapse and left my cancelled meal on the bill. Again a long wait for the bill to be returned corrected. My family and I have eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed our time there.

Emily C.

Yelp
Party of two went for brunch Food selection seems limited compared to previously but the food we ordered were very good! I ordered stuffed french toast , it was hand down one of best ! And my friend ordered american burger which was very good too per my friend.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Great local spot, never disappoints. Love their happy hour and they seem to change up the menu regularly so you get something different.

Ken L.

Yelp
The food was great. We really enjoyed the place. I didn't know that it was so big inside. We sat outside which was also good because the area was of the building next to the sidewalk. There was a nice breeze created by the two buildings like a valley. The only complaint that I gave was the burger... too much sesame seeds in the bun. It would be great if they use like the Burger King buns. No sesame seeds would be even better. I would recommend this place. The fired shrimp was good. Tap fries were not good as what others posted.

Tee C.

Yelp
Went to this establishment for happy hour to celebrate my friends birthday. There were 9 of us. Service started out good but gradually depleted as business picked up. We order a variety of apps that were all decent. The cheese cirds were by far the best. Unfortunately, I had to return my Flatbread, it was very dry and tough. I just had a beer, my friends ordered some of the specials which they enjoyed. All in all this restaurant felt like an uppercase sports bar to me. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, there just wasn't anything special about it. I do not find the need to revisit

Steve L.

Yelp
Don't dine here, period. Came in last night in a pretty good mood, trying to catch up with old friends while visiting home. The brisket fries were $14 for what had to be the smallest ration of brisket I've ever seen. 2oz, maybe? Had to send back on principle. It's not filet people. Was super polite to the bartender upstairs about it. She was very, very unprofessional in how she handled it. What. A. BRAT. Asked for a beer about 5 minutes later, also very politely, got handed a water.... would've been my 3rd beer, for the record. She refused to talk to me after I sent the food back. All of this is a reflection of poor management. Go anywhere else in Lansdale before here.

Chris L.

Yelp
I've heard lots of good things about this place, and the food was quite good. Unfortunately, the service was flat out terrible. Entering the restaurant and just trying to talk to the hostess was the first frustration. She was clearly overwhelmed and couldn't decide where to seat anyone, which of course compounds as each new group arrives. We gave up and sat at the bar. Once there, the bartender at our end of the bar appeared to refuse to wait on two people. She saw us, looked over repeatedly, but apparently decided a group of two wasn't worth her time. Guessing she assumed the tip wouldn't be big enough. After 15 minutes, a bartender from literally the other side of the bar (worth noting the bar spans a huge length of the restaurant) came over and asked if anyone had helped us yet. We ordered, but it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. So finally, after 25 minutes, we have two drinks. Ordered five minutes later since we had plenty of time to look over the menu. A couple of our items came out, but we never got our appetizer. The helpful bartender (the one who came over) ran back to the kitchen three times before they finally got it out to us. At this point, we paid the check immediately so we could leave as soon as we were finished. The food was great, don't get me wrong. Steakhouse burger was perfectly cooked, and the tap fries were wonderful. Our helpful bartender apologized to us repeatedly because even she could tell the service we'd received was complete garbage. I really hope they don't pool tips because she deserved 100% of the tip that night. She really was great and is the ONLY reason this place is getting even three stars. I don't care how good the food is, if the service makes me want to leave and never come back, you don't deserve a good rating. So for now, five stars for food, one star for service. If you go, be sure to give yourself plenty of time in case the service is just as bad as it was for me that night. Hopefully they get their act together. It'll definitely be a while before I consider giving them another chance.

Danielle L.

Yelp
Love this restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great food and wonderful service. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Lansdale.

Samantha C.

Yelp
Myself and a group of 5 other girls came to celebrate a birthday for bottomless mimosas! (It was $20 for bottomless mimosas!) It was so cute inside, good atmosphere! The food was delicious! The best item was the Huevos rancheros! It was so flavorful! I had the breakfast bowl and it was good! We also tried the scrapple bao buns and they were better than I thought they would be! Our server Michelle was so sweet and so kind and a great server!! The only downfall was the bar service was a little slow and a woman who worked there, not sure her role, but she has redish hair, came up to our table to advise that when we reorder another round of bottomless mimosa's we need to give back the carafe for them to put it in. Which is understandable, but she was a little rude about it. Overall it was a good experience and we had a great time!

Scott A.

Yelp
Only been here for office parties, but it has not disappointed yet! Food has been solid, service was good and drinks as well.

Shirin P.

Yelp
Unimpressive dining room but good is ok. We didn't have reservations and they told us the wait is about 1.5 hours but there were a few bar seats available so we sat at the bar and ordered food. Our meals were decent. Beer collection small.

Patricia A.

Yelp
Excellent food, good service and trivia on Tuesdays - what more would you want!? I like the food and the atmosphere a lot. You can also sit outside in nice weather. It's a great place to go.

Sogol B.

Yelp
Food is really bad! No taste, you can't eat the burger because the meat smells so bad. Even the fries are just pure oil. You don't taste anything but the oil in them.
