First time at Stowaway and it was very fun with great drinks and food. A friend recommended this place and it was a great suggestion. They can get very busy so on Friday & Saturdays they have a two hour limit in place. All the food was very good and would deliver recommend the spam nachos. There is a separate second hour server was excellent and even offered to remove one of my wife's drinks that was to sweet for her so major bonus points there. Also there is a hidden bar inside called Belly of the Beast that you can make a separate reservation for. If you like tiki or themes bars I would recommend checking these out

Came here to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday with our friends. The ambiance was super cute with cool decorations for Halloween. The drink menu was extensive, and they had a lot of cute-looking drinks! The food was surprisingly solid for a bar. I tried the locals plate, which consisted of a choice of protein (I chose the soft shelled crab), fried egg, rice, and mac salad. Price was reasonable at $16 with $2 extra to change the mac salad to a salad. The soft shelled crab had a good amount of meat in the middle and was soft, sweet, and flavorful. It was fried/crispy. I would prefer a lighter batter though. The salad was good with the mango pieces. The fried egg was cooked nicely. The rice was a little on the mushy side, but it didn’t bother me.

I absolutely love this hidden gem in Tustin. Not only are the food and drinks amazing, but the service from the staff and manger David are always top tier! I always feel welcome and “at home”. They have the best mojitos and fun seasonal drinks. I like how the aesthetic of the bar changes depending on if there’s a holiday. Pictured are the Poke Bombs and the Spam Mitsubi, soooo delicious! The colorful dim lighting and decor give the bar such a relaxing vibe while being fun and themed. They used to be in Irvine but not too far now in Tustin, and this spot is so much bigger! Definitely check them out. Perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends.

Stowaway is the kind of place that accidentally turns into “we should go back again tonight.” Fantastic food, dangerously good tiki drinks (balanced, boozy, and properly tropical), and immersive theming that makes you forget you’re in Tustin. The service was warm, fast, and clearly run by people who love what they’re doing. We went twice in one week—and one night even included a slick sleight-of-hand magician casually blowing minds between cocktails. If you like your tiki authentic, your vibes playful, and your rum respected… this place absolutely delivers.

This was my first ever bar experience, and it was a great time! Went for a friends 21st birthday, and it was just really nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks were really good. It is on the more expensive side, but that's what I expected, and it was definitely worth it for the experience. I got a Dirty Shirley Temple, was yummy.

I loved this tiki bar! The atmosphere is perfect with fun decorations and island music. We felt transported to another place. The menu is extensive and there are tons of options for fun tiki drinks. We tried a handful and were pleasantly surprised. The food menu also has a variety of entrees and sides. This is a spot I would love to come back too.

Absolutely legendary place. My friend and I picked this almost randomly when I first moved down here. Little did we know this would become THE bar for our group. The drinks? Amazing. The black sands, treasure box, painkiller and frog grog are all tasty and consistently good. The staff? So great. Every one of them has been great and it's been a real treat getting to know them. The atmosphere? A+. Cozy, funky SpongeBob vibes with tiki music, comfy seats and a couple pool tables. Even the bar food is good! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely favorite place for a fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly, food is great (try the onion rings, they're perfect every time) and the drinks are spot on.

It's a good and surprisingly spacious tiki bar. They have four main areas. Big group tables, standing counters around the pool tables and TV, the bar and booths. They take reservations but getting in without one in a small group is pretty doable. Either way it's a 90 minute limit. The drink menu is a great mix of classic tiki and some twists. The food is just okay but it'll at least sober you up. Outside of the typical classics, I like the Black Sands. For the uninitiated, tiki is strong! If you plan to have two or more drinks then have a plan to get home safely.

Cute tiki bar with fun drinks in fun cups, including drinks that are lit on fire! Service was friendly and ambiance was fun. There are pool tables and different out-coves for seating. As a non-alcohol drinker there were also plenty of options. They have dole whip here! Didn't try the food but menu looks like there are some tropical inspired eats. We were fortunate enough to walk in on a Wednesday evening around 6pm with no wait. We were seated in the cave, which delivered the perfect ambiance to celebrate our anniversary. The food and cocktail menu can be overwhelming, but here's what we finally settled on: Dragon Lady 4/5 (sweet and tangy, very cosmo-ish) Tropical Itch 4/5 (holy hangover!) Mai Tai 3/5 Fried Spam Musubi 5/5 (an absolute must) The Local's Plate with seared ahi 3/5 (just ok) Loco Moco 4/5 Our entrees came with mac salad, which was average, steamed rice, and an egg. Prices were so reasonable. We spent about $100 plus tip on food, an app, and 5 cocktails. Our server was fabulous and checked in often enough. We visited Belly of the Beast, which is a phenomenal speakeasy in back of Stowaway ( no dinner served there yet), then hopped on over to the restaurant for dinner. Perfect way to spend our special evening. I can't wait to come back with friends!

Stowaway is a tiki bar tucked in a small plaza and a small parking lot. It gives off a feeling of a mix between a tiki bar and a dive bar with the two pool tables. You can make reservations but we came on a Tuesday night and were seated immediately. Our first drink was the hurricane ash ($15) which was stiff and spirit forward. Our second drink was the ailani elixir ($13) which was sweet from the coconut and we liked the li hing mui powder. Our third drink was the black sands ($18) which came out on fire which was fun. It was also coconutty but just enough that it wasn't too much for us. There was bar top seating, booth seating, and more tables further in. It's bigger than its previous location in The District in Tustin. It's a cool vibe and we'll be back to try their other cocktails.

This place is awesome, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like to drink and isn't into the tiki scene. I come here for the poke bombs, when a poke bowl at my poke place is too much and the Disneyland Hotel is too much (when isn't it?), this place is a great middle ground. Not too much but not too little. Unlike other bars, their cokes aren't flat and as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, that is more appreciated than they'd ever know. The wait staff is super sweet, never had a bad experience when there - well, I take that back, but it's the other customers, something out of the Stowaway's control. My only two complaints about this place (complaints that can't even remove a star!) 1.) the bathroom light is on a timer...not so cool when having an issue (digestion issues for those of you who are nosey) and 2.) their pineapple whips are very icy, less soft serve and creamy and more like a smoothie with ice chips :/

Definitely coming back to stowaway in the future! This place was super cute and vibes were islandy for sure. Food was quick to come out! And I wanted to try soo many drinks! Service was also great. I loved my drink- the cococano- it felt like a signature drink for this place. My friend didn't love her drink and they allowed her to get another, which was nice of them.

So my friend and I were trying to meet up for happy hour, and this place popped up on Yelp with rave reviews. We both have never been here so we decided to try this place out. This is located in a triangular corner plaza on the Newport Avenue and McFadden Avenue side (there's another strip mall right behind that faces Walnut Avenue and McFadden Avenue). It's at the end of the strip mall, right next to McFadden, to be more exact. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly, especially on typical busy evenings (there were cars waiting in the aisles when we we finished up near 7:00pm...I wouldn't even know where else to park if we had come later). We met up around 4:45pm on a Friday, and luckily, there were a few parking spaces still open. Right when entering the doors, we were met by a velvet rope that blocked the entrance with curtains drawn, kind of like what you'd see at a club. A staff member came out to greet us, asked if we had reservations (no), what we were here for (happy hour), and if we wanted to sit at the high table or at the pool table (high table). Happy hour was 4:00-6:00pm so we only had an hour left, and the staff told us that we had a 2-hour limit to stay. The ambiance is pretty dark inside with quintessential island decor and all staff members wearing Aloha shirts. I guess the concept is to "warp back to mid-century Tiki living," and that's definitely the vibe that I got. The happy hour menu is limited, but we ordered the sweet chili cauliflower wings ($8), coconut shrimp ($7), and angry edamame ($5). We later ordered the miso chicken skewers, too ($2 off during HH so $17). For drinks, my friend got the mai tai ($10) and I got the Kona coffee off the regular drink menu ($16). TBH, everything tasted ok. My Kona coffee didn't have much of a coffee flavor, but rather more of a toffee-like flavor with a hint of tartness. I liked that they actually give you alcohol, because I was definitely feeling it from this one drink. The coconut shrimp was good, but the cauliflower and edamame needed something more. The miso chicken was good, but a bit dry. Overall, it was kind of a neat and fun experience, and staff were all friendly and very attentive. Even though we only had 2 hours to stay, we didn't feel rushed or anything, and we also kept an eye on time to make sure that we finished eating and drinking within the 2 hours, which was plenty for the 2 of us. The other drinks sounded good so maybe I (or we) will give it another try on a non-HH time, with reservations.

We made reservations for 9pm on a saturday to be sure we could be seated without a long wait. Upon arrival and checking in we still had to wait 5 mins so they could clear our table. It was surprising to see that the inside was fun and quirky as outside its non descript within a strip mall. It's not a big place so they limit your stay to 2 hours for busy nights. Our server was great and super friendly and helpful in making drink recommendations. I tried their poke bombs which was light and hit the spot.

I finally found a tiki bar where I can get some of the crazy cocktails that I haven't been able to make on my own. I think this place used to be Pineapple Grill, but now it's the new location for Stowaway. I liked most of the drinks that I ordered, but the food wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I enjoyed the Cococano, which came set on fire. There's not a lot of places around here that I go to that have orgeat, and it really punched up the coconut flavor of the drink. I also had the Botanical Mystery and the two of those drinks put me on a pretty good buzz. Possibly to enhance the mystery of the botanicals, there was even a close-up magician performing that day. The guy was pretty skilled. It was kinda dark in there, but there was still a lot of skullduggery that I had zero read on. I ordered the Stowaway Fries, and those are pretty decent to share. Rich, meaty, and satisfying. I was less impressed with the ceviche, which only came on 2 chips, and was pretty much impossible to share and was not really a great value for the price. Wouldn't recommend that one. I really enjoyed the flavors of the drinks here, the presentations (you can set any drink on fire that doesn't have a flame icon for just $2!) and the comfy vibe to the place. The doorman let us know that they had a two hour limit for all guests that day, but until they're a bit more packed, I can't see that limit needing to be enforced. Would totally recommend for a group of coworkers, or to anyone who's looking to enjoy some tasty craft cocktails in the Tustin area.

I loved this place! Great chill vibe; very funny waitstaff. Lots of fun. And there are literally 10-12 more libations I want to try from their crazy drink menu (which means at least four or five return trips!).

3 girls wanted to come here to grab a drink after a long week and it was a good choice. You definitely get that tiki vibe inside here and it is super dimmed. We all got ourselves a drink. I was recommended the black sand after asking for something on ice, fruity, and sweet. We ordered various food and some to share like the ahi tuna and curry fries. Once in awhile the bartenders made a lot of celebratory noise depending on what drinks were ordered so the atmosphere is definitely a party one. Overall my experience was good but I dont know if ill be back since I am a light drinker. 3 drinks, 2 main orders, and 2 shareable orders came out to about $48 with tip per person. Typical $50 price tag for dining out these days.

Looking for a local tiki bar in OC, I found this business on Yelp and it definitely did not disappoint! The bar and each booth are covered with thatched awnings, giving one the illusion that we are all enjoying our drinks and meals under the evening sky on the beach. The only thing missing is the sand at our feet! We perused the menu and the hand-drawn Zombie Fish tiki mug caught my eye! I referred to Yelp for actual photographs of this stylized anglerfish mug and I immediately found myself wanting one, complete with a lamp fashioned from a double parasol, for the collection! And for the record and as of this writing, the current Zombie tiki mug is red and NOT green as shown in the menu or in previous photographs posted by other Yelp reviewers. I found the Zombie to be strong and delicious, while my wife's Black Sands cocktail was more on the sweeter side. Our servers were prompt, attentive, and friendly. Since we had dinner earlier in the evening, we decided to partake in some light appetizers, consisting of coconut shrimp and the curry fries, and a dessert, a virgin Dole whip. All were delicious! I was very impressed with their food selection as I find many tiki-themed bars treat their food selection as an afterthought. Stowaway's menu is diverse and legitimate, with Hawaiian favorites like loco-moco and Spam musubi, in addition to interesting offerings like soft shell crab sammies and Spam Spam nachos! We definitely have to return to try out the other cocktails and other menu items! I'm definitely looking forward to it!

A most excellent tiki bar with outstanding service and the best rummy tiki drinks! Be sure to get reservations.

Tiki Chicken Tenders: standard chicken tenders and fries 7/10 Coconut Shrimp: fried shrimp, actually so good!! Crunchy and full of flavor, 10/10 Curry fries: lots of flavor, not overly drenched in curry either, but I've had better, 8/10 Hotter Than The Dickens: 8/10, little bit of spice but not overbearing, very easy to drink and tasty Smoking Rita: 6/10, okay drink, something about it kinda threw me off but I couldn't quite tell what Singapore Sling: 7/10, very fruity and sweet, not strong enough for my tastes but still very good and refreshing drink Service was great, servers are high energy and always checking on you. Super fun place!

This is such a cool tiki bar in a very unassuming shopping center. You would never know this was behind the doors if you just drove up. We did the Yelp check-in and were seated pretty quickly. At first they had bar seats available but we opted to wait for a "hut" which was basically a booth. We were seated in about 10 minutes. The food was yummy! My husband had wings and I had the North Shore garlic shrimp and we shared the guacamole. Delicious! The drinks were tasty and VERY strong! We bought the cup the rum runner was in. It was a cute little monkey throwing up Shaka. We will be back soon!

This bar is a dream!! The decor and details are phenomenal. The drinks are so yummy and there is so much variety in flavors and liquors offered for their cocktails. And they have the most amazing tiki mugs available to enjoy some of the drinks in and also for sale to take home. We had to get one. I didn't try the food, but whenever people nearby had food delivered it smelled soooo good so I am eager to come back and try. Everyone that worked here was really nice. I also love that they have free pool tables, and plenty of seating areas, including the most beautiful semi-private and themed space perfect for a large group. This isn't really in my neighborhood,unfortunately, but I can't wait to make the trip out for this bar again!

Amazing little place. The food tasted beyond expectations! There's something about their guac that has me in a chokehold. It's so delicious. I love the vibes here, all the tiki huts and decorations make it feel like vacation. Our servers were amazing, very attentive. I'm definitely dining and drinking here again soon with more of my friends! Upon walking in, all the seating tables are along the wall, each one its own tiki hut. There are pool tables/ billards to the left side, a tiki bar in the middle separating the activities & dining. There is a 2 hour time limit once your party is seated! It's good for grabbing a bite and drinks but be wary of the time limit!

Went to stowaway with some friends over the weekend. Drinks are a bit strong here but tasty. Would definitely recommend the pina colada. And the Mai tai reminds me of Monkeypod in Hawaii. Service was quick and attentive. And don't forget to get shots of fernet as a digestive but it is very minty.

Such a fun, interactive, and delicious first time experience here at Stowaway! Considering that we arrived as walk-ins, we were seated pretty quickly, which was amazing! This is another tiki bar that I will definitely return to, as the vibe is inviting and exciting. I especially loved the spam misubi and the poke bombs! I could have had a second round lol. My boyfriend loved his Moco loco! Highly recommend!

We had a great experience here. Our server was very helpful and friendly, the drinks and food were top notch and the atmosphere was everything a tiki bar should be. Definitely a must for the tiki fans out there.

This place has a really cool vibe. It's tucked in the corner of the plaza and you wouldn't guess it's there unless you're looking for it. The whole decor was perfectly matched to the tiki theme (love the bathroom wallpaper ) and great places to sit with groups. The happy hour menu was great lots of good options, and the drinks were fun. The staff was all very friendly and had great recommendations, and really took care of everyone. Went right after work during the week, so did not get too crowded- if you have a group, try to reserve ahead of time just in case. Tried out some of the fire drinks which was just fun to see too.

I was getting discouraged when my phone was unable to display my downloads since we wouldn't be able to enter until we could prove that we'd loaded the menu onto our phones from the QR code (apparently, there is only 1 physical copy in the place). Not wanting to hold up the line any further, ready to walk out, I was told that I could take pictures of the menu (or I'd offered to look at the menus on Yelp). After a long delay (on my phone's part), I succeeded! Fun decor and atmosphere inside! We were fortunate to be seated at the bar top with Michelle as our amazing bartender; she was professional and attentive, with a fun-and-energetic personality, and made us feel welcomed. We'd ordered their: Mai Tai $14 Hurricane Ash $16 Tropical Itch $15 Shishito Peppers $9 (I should've read the menu better; next time, we're ordering them Vegan -- unbattered) The drinks were attractively presented, tasty, and strong! How fun having a festive tiki bar right here in Tustin! Eager to return to experience more off their food menu!

Our favorite speakeasy and tiki bar which are usually both pre-booked for weeks ahead were unavailable so we thought we would try Stowaway. It's conveniently located in a strip mall and we were lucky to get the last available parking spot after arriving at 6pm on a week night. When you first walk in, there is a small entry area and they pull back the red velvet ropes for you to enter the main dining room which was a nice touch. We reserved a booth and were seated next to the bar. Sitting at a booth definitely gave a little more of an immersive feel than sitting at the bar or one at of the high top tables. The decor is good and it has a cool vibe but it doesn't feel as polished as SW or TBR. However, it definitely blows away sitting in a booth at a generic bar! We were promptly greeted and presented with a long impressive menu with many enticing drinks and food to choose from. Our first round of drinks were the Cococano and Rum Runner. One of our servers Michele arrived at the table with them and lit the flame on the Cococano which was cool. Both of these drinks were great and it's always nice when they are served in a themed glass, not a generic bar glass. Next came the food. The pineapple fried rice was a generous serving and had lots of pineapple and spam in it. Having it served in the shell of a pineapple was a nice touch. The Stowaway Guac & chips came with a massive scoop of guacamole which we could not even finish. It normally comes with all plantain chips, but our request for half plantain chips and half regular tortilla chips was happily honored. The poke bombs were great also and three pieces for each of us was just the right amount. The only slight buzzkill on the food is paper plates. At least the paper plates that the food is served on have a pattern on them that kind of goes with the tiki theme. However, you get generic white paper plates to split food. We couldn't leave without having another round of drinks. I was curious about "The Bitter End" drink since I wasn't familiar with "Fernet Branca" alcohol. Our server described it and even offered us a small shot of it to make sure I would like it in a cocktail. It was a little too medicinal and bitter for my taste but it was excellent service that the option of tasting the primary alcohol in the cocktail was offered. We ended up going with the Black Sands and Vitamin D. The Black Sands also arrived flaming and both drinks were also very good. By the time we left it was about 8:30pm and the place was pretty cleared out. We had a fun time here and will definitely come back when we are feeling the need for some cocktails in a fun place that is pretty easy to get seated at.

I met some friends were for drinks and appetizers after work one day. My buddy had made a reservation for 3. We arrived on-time, reservation was verified and were granted immediate entry. This place is small-ish and is decorated and themed like a Tiki Bar. I ordered a Mai Tai and a Singapore Sling and both drinks were good. I'm not sure what drinks my buddies had but they liked their drinks as well. For the appetizers we shared two orders of Stowaway Fries which had rum braised pork, gravy and a fried egg on top of the fries. There looked so good I started eating them before I remembered to take a photo. Our reservation was limited to 1.5 hours and after our food and drinks were delivered we didn't see our server again until we asked for the bill. I'm giving 3.5 stars here and better service could get this up to four stars.

Stowaway stole a piece of my TIKI heart. I'm a sucker for a good tiki bar. Quirky lighting, pool tables, cocktails in fun vessels, really nice staff, yummy bar eats and fun seating - you'll find it all at Stowaway. +'s: - you can reserve a table ahead of time on Yelp - so many cocktail options, bowls and mocktails - large menu, they also serve brunch and have veggie options - prices are reasonable! Highly recommend the zombie & bitter end if you like more spirit forward / slightly bitter cocktails (this drink is a nice surprise given most of their drinks are super sweet - for obvious reasons). FYI's: - if you don't make a reservation ahead of time plan on waiting for a table since it gets really busy. - The parking lot is pretty small and I'm not sure about local parking... So recommend coming early or Ubering

This is such a cool tiki bar! We made reservations in advance for our larger group and had no issues. We had a little trouble finding Stowaway but found it after a quick u-turn. The parking lot is a bit small but we were able to secure a spot. There's another strip mall behind it with more parking. We were seated in the cabana area in the back which was able to seat at least 8 people with plenty of extra space. The inside is very well themed with lots of cool decorations and unique spaces. The service here is great! Our waitress was so nice and attentive (apologies, I don't remember her name!). We loved the drinks! We tried the zombie, rum runner, and dole whip and everything was super boozy but tasted great! We also tried some different bar food such as the onion rings, fries, and fried spam masubi. Everything was really good! It was a nice balance with the boozy drinks. We will definitely be back!

Came to Stowaway on a Friday night with a group. Getting seated wasn't an issue. Parking is limited and restrooms are clean. Customer service was super attentive. Our orders came out pretty quickly and everything we ordered was tasty. Love that the ambiance has a Hawaiian flavor. It's super dim inside and would appreciate a little bit more lighting to see my food. Generally, great vibes, great food and great service.

Well, another successful outing to The Stowaway in Tustin. Super bonus points because we ended up sitting at the same table as my last review. And even better...We had Anna again as our server, YAY! She really brings a fun vibe to the place. She was so kind, as she actually remembered me from the last time we came in for a birthday celebration. We brought a friend who is new to the Tiki Vibe, so Anna made it a point to make sure we had excellent service. I will say, she did abandon us at one point (those dang pesky labor laws requiring a break...jk) but she handed us off smoothly to another wonderful server who kept the vibe going until Anna returned. Anna really goes out of her way at all the tables, not just ours. The decor and ambiance inside the place is very cool and fun as I noted on my previous review. Lots of the artwork and construction pieces are done by several very famous artists within the Tiki community. Had mainly appetizers for our dinner so we could share plates and bites. Poke Bombs were really good, the Shishito peppers and a great coating and flavor to them, the Tiki Tenders were fun and I really liked the Musubi. We had a few other things but can't remember them all. Drinks were very flavorful and reasonably priced for the Tiki market. We did try each other's so we had a good sampling all around. We had a Black Sands, a couple of the Ailani Elixirs, a couple of the Pain Killers, a Bahama Mama and one other that escapes me at the moment. Was just glad that we had the forethought to Uber there and back as the drinks can really sneak up on you when you are not paying attention. Be sure and wander around to check out the decor, so very cool. I absolutely love that we have this place near us. If I had to say something negative, it would be that when you look at the waitlist, it looks like it can be a long wait time. Especially on the weekends. It doesn't seem that you can just "pop-in" for a quick drink, it looks like you HAVE to have a reservation. (BTW-2 hour limit). We were there for almost that long, and we saw a few of the seats at the bar that remained wide open for the majority of the time we were there. Probably 8 seats total off and on. I would hate to think that if I walked in for a quick drink before moving on for the evening, that I wouldn't be able to because of the reserved seats. There were two parties of 4 that were waiting for a table when we left, but I would like the ability to just have a 20-minute bar seat for a quick drink if possible. But, until I know that for sure, I'll just keep making reservations. Pssssst- Ask for Anna if you can, but everyone is really so nice. Enjoy!

First time I've been to this new location. It's night and day compared to the old Stowaway. This new location feels a lot more divey and mysterious. We had a reservation and was informed there was a two hour seating limit. We ended up ordering a few appetizers to share and drinks were strong. I ordered the loco moco and zombie classic tiki. Presentation was 9/10 for the zombie drink. Only gripe was I had to literally grip it with two hands to drink! Food was pretty good but I feel the way food is served on paper plates is a bit odd. Food was good and drinks are strong! If you're looking for a divey night out and screaming coco something from the bar with flames bursting, then this is the place to be!

We've been twice and each time has been fantastic. Great drinks and fun food items to share. The biggest + is that they were incredibly accommodating for my husband who is disabled and needed special seating arrangements to be comfortable. For this alone they have a dedicated family of customers for life. Watch your tab as they do add an 18% gratuity to larger parties, which is fine - but should be posted as the person taking care of our bill almost tipped twice before we caught it. Great atmosphere, servers are wonderful and the drinks are fun!

It was baby's birthday and on baby's birthday, baby gets whatever he wants. Baby wanted a tiki bar, so Stowaway we went. We were planning the night for a bit and wanted to try a new tiki bar. We've done a few in OC and LA, but when we found stowaway, we were surprised we didn't find it sooner. The vibe looked great and more on the relaxed side. Pro tip: make a reservation, I hate waiting for tables on a Saturday night. My goal for the night was to get honey drunk and Stowaway definitely helped me achieve it. All the drinks were amazing! My favorite was the Zombie that came in the greatest angler fish mug ever. Of course, we had to make sure to purchase a few mugs before we left. We had such a great time hanging, drinking, and celebrating. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Stowaway provides a perfect ambiance of being transported to an island bar! This Tikki bar does a great job with their drinks whether it's their own creations or the classic tikki bar cocktails! Mai tai and zombie were super refreshing, super delicious, and do indeed pack a punch! The service was great as well because the server always checked up on us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves! Parking is available too with a big lot in the front! 10/10 experience!

Super enjoying our day drinking adventure with friends in a tiki booth. Super fun. Relaxed atmosphere. Awesome place to enjoy an afternoon. Staff is fantastic!! Full of fun vibes and if you find yourself near, you should definitely pop in. if you like cute merch, they have take home glasses too. Decent variety of options. Drink menu is robust & the food smells fantastic. Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Great tiki bar! Kyle was a great bartender-gave us really good recommendations on cocktails based on what we said we liked. Food was surprisingly delicious-the fries smothered in pork and gravy, topped with an egg...umh, yes please! Spam masubi was s fav of my husband's. Cute tiki decor, controlled entry, great service. Will definitely be back!

Great food and drinks. But the vibe is so weird. Something like a dive and tiki bar combined in one and it's so dark.

If you wanna feel like you're in Hawaii sipping tropical drinks, then this is the bar for you. The place is dimly lit. This place offers food and a lot of drink choices. Drinks were good, service was excellent, and food was ok. We ordered the cococano, coconut cove, zombie, and tropical itch drinks. The drinks look cool and they taste more on the boozy side. For the food, we got the pulled pork burger, poke bomb, and coconut shrimp.

We made a reservation for a group of 6 people a few days before for a Friday night. We were seated right away tucked in the corner. I love the ambiance and tiki vibes. Of course I had to order a drink where they set it on fire. The drinks were a little pricey in my opinion but I'm definitely there for the cute decor. They also had a pool table but I'm unsure if you also have to reserve that. There is a 2 hour limit for your table too.

I didn't realize that this was the same place that I loved going to when it was at the District. Wow, this location is way nicer and bigger and definitely my kind of vibe. There were so many drink choices here and I want to go back. My friend goes here all the time and brought tiki cups for both of us which you can use to have them put your drink in. There was also a drink he got which lit on fire so that was fun to see and to take pictures of. I would definitely come back, I love tiki drinks!

I came by after dinner to check out this tiki bar. It has cute decor inside and lots of seating. I put my name on the waitlist an hour before we came to get checked in. I ordered the Vitamin D cocktail, it is a sweet drink with lavendar flavor. It is a nice place to hang out and they have lots of different cocktails on their menu. Definitely a spot to check out if you are looking for a bar!

Fun little speakeasy with a Hawaiian flavor. Perfect for a girls night out. Drinks are amazing and staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

Everything is always great when we go there! Highly recommend trying this place if you are new to Tiki bars. This place will get you hooked. The tiki drinks are made by some of the best tiki bartenders around, and trust me, I've been to quite a few! Go, relax, enjoy yourself and make new friends because this is what you do at a tiki bar!

I like this new location! The ownership (len) and team did an excellent job on the renovation and design of the place. It's always fun coming here for after work drinks and small bites. Everyone here is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is always tops. With respect to food, I recommend the deep fried spam musubi, coconut shrimp, and the loco moco fries. Drinks: any drink on fire :) they are served in the cutest tiki mugs. I love them so much I bought a few for my home.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Stowaway 2.0 has came back in glory with an even larger space. Once again reclaiming their spot as the hottest bar in Orange County. Congrats to the Stowaway team for such an incredible new location. This ambiance has something for everyone. There's a bar area, booths, a hang out space with pool table and a more lounge like private space on the far end. Happy Hour Tuesday - Friday: 4-6pm I come here so often I have literally had every item on their Happy Hour Menu. My favorite 'grubs' are the Loco Moco (HH $13), Sweet Chili Wings (HH $9) and Coconut Shrimp (HH $7). My go to drink is the Dark and Stormy (HH $9/regular $13). When I take any friends here for the first time I always start them off with a Cococano ($13). Always love a fiery sexy cocktail. And for all of the dole whip lovers, there is something even better than a dole whip. They have an alcoholic Dole Whip ($14 with rum, $7 virgin). Nom Nom Nom! Stowaway 2.0 has everything I need for a good time with my friends. Love Dom and Leonard from the original location. They have staffed up significantly to scale up to their larger location. One of the new stand out staff members is Michelle. She is AMAZING! So attentive and on top of things. I came in recently with a large group for a friend's birthday and Michelle and the team took great care of our troublesome bunch. Looking forward to more shenanigans here at their new location!

We had a great time and were lucky to get a table. The bar seemed popular for happy hour and cleared out after 6pm. If you've never been before, the lighting over the tables change color almost rapidly. It can be a little jarring. **If the restaurant reads this, just pick one color per table and don't have the color change please. ** We loved the food and the selection of happy hour. Definitely recommend joining the wait list if you can! They have some bench seating behind the pool tables but in my opinion, these are best for just drinking.

If you enjoy good vibe and tiki bars... this is the spot you cannot miss!!!!! Came here for a bday weekend celebration with a group of close friends and family based on my girl's recommendation; we made reservation in advance since we have 7-8 in the group. We got seated right away at the cabana area, the inside is specious and well decorated and with different combo of table/seating arrangements to accommodate variety of group sizes. It really transformed into a tropical tiki bar once you step inside. The drinks are yummy and 'BOOZY' and for the price you paid for...... it's definitely worth it!!!!!!!!!!! (it's so hard to find a good place with yummy/boozy drinks that doesn't cost you a bank in OC nowadays...) They also provide options for mock tails and couple of my girls really enjoyed it!!! And if you are here... please try their tempura battered deep fried spam musubi... it's something you don't think you need but once you try it... you knew you would get it everytime you are here!!! The service was great and the staffs are super nice and friendly. It also has a lot of other drinks/food/rum selections with a cozy bar area! Overall, If you just want a place to hang out with family and friends with good vibe and tons of yummy food and drinks which happens to be a tiki bar, this is the spot!!!

My husband booked us for brunch this past Sunday and the theme was Magic and Mai Tai's. This Tiki Bar which has only been open 4 months had booked a magician from the Magic Castle to go table to table performing tricks. If you've never bern in the company of a magician from the Magic Castle you are in for a treat! They are the best of the best in magic! We were already having a good time and enjoying our good and the magician showing up was the icing on the cake! I loved the big drink menu, lots of options to choose from! I got the Dragon Lady and enjoyed it thoroughly. Hubs and I got the Loco Moco plate which was just the right amount of food! Kiddo got a plate of pancakes which were sampled and enjoyed by mom n dad! Kiddo enjoyed her pineapple juice loaded with extra cherries! The wait staff were nice and quick. The inside decor was awesome. We had a really good time! Tiki for Brekkie was awesome!
