Stowe Mercantile

This store has something for everyone. The downstairs has the vibe of a general store with lots of kitchen decor and sweet treats. We loved the gondola for photo ops and the ski decor. The upstairs has some more upscale clothing and a huge bookstore. We loved all the locally made stickers. The staff we interacted with was very nice. We will definitely be back on our next Stowe adventure!

Stowe Mercantile is an absolute gem and a must-visit if you’re in the Stowe area. The store captures the essence of Vermont with its wide range of products, from locally made gourmet foods like maple syrup and jams to handmade crafts and gifts. The smell of fresh fudge greets you as soon as you walk in, and let me tell you—it tastes as amazing as it smells! I spent a good hour browsing their vast selection of kitchen items, home goods, and unique souvenirs. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering samples of their best products and sharing stories about the local makers. You can tell this store is passionate about supporting local businesses and creating a memorable shopping experience. I left with a bag full of goodies and a big smile on my face. Highly recommend making time for this stop during your trip

We had a fantastic experience in this store. Plenty of small souvenir options to keep memories of Vermont. They offer free sample of each syrup, pickle, and packed food. It helped us to pick the best food we like. The price is a bit high. But compare to their food quality, it’s okay.

Stowe Mercantile is such a cool place! This store has just about anything you could want to buy from the tourist destination of Stowe at somewhat reasonable prices. I mean it is Stowe after all, so you can expect to pay a little more for your merchandise, trinket and souvenirs. I especially enjoyed the candy section as I could have been in there for hours looking at all the different delectable, delicious delights. There is a lot to look at in this store, so expect to get lost in here for 30 minutes at least. The kids will especially like the candy section. Since I’m a big kid, I loved it!

Stowe Mercantile is an awesome country store. They have a wide variety of souvenirs, gifts, candy, & snacks. Their maple syrup selection is huge. Great one-stop shop for all things Vermont!

There is a great variety of options to shop for at Stowe Mercantile in Vermont! This store is really cool and old-fashioned. They offer everything from candy to clothes! It can be a little overwhelming since there is so much to look at. I wish I had planned for a bit more time to spend here. We also had a small bite to eat at their little cafe located on the second floor. Fresh sandwiches and snacks at an affordable price! Overall, I really enjoyed my shopping spree here!!

Luke-warm customer service. No one greeted us and people were not especially friendly or cheerful. Super expensive too and barely any prices on the café menu. Do they count on you feeling poor if you ask?

Conveniently located on Main Street in Stowe. This is a great store with tons of items to choose from. You can spend a lot of time here looking for perfect souvenirs to take home. We left with some delicious fudge, maple pumpkin butter, maple shortbread cookies, and maple apple drizzle. They also have a great selection of t-shirts.
