Straight From Philly STEAKOUT

They’ve been in Henderson a long time. They are very solid even if they don’t blow your mind. Not a fan of seeing the prices steadily rising but they seem to use quality ingredients and really good bread so at least you’re not getting junk for your $. The spicy chili cheese fries are great. They put their peppers on it and it comes together well. Most of their food warms up really well in the microwave. We usually eat half first and warm up the rest later. Perhaps not necessary to post pictures of yourself standing outside the place posing next to a moderately fancy car but if you want a decent sandwich, this’ll do pig.

My friend brought me lunch from this place the other day. He said he used to get it all the time, but even he was disappointed in the sandwich. We both got the pastrami and in all honestly, the Sandwich was a little small for $13. The pastrami meat tasted good and the bun wasn’t soggy, which is a plus! The pickles went really well in the sandwich too! It just needs a sauce or something because it was extremely dry. I’d be down to possibly try it again in the future if I’m in the area, but not the best first impression based on the price for the sandwich size and dryness of the sandwich.

This is the spot to hit. Sammiches are too good. Chili Cheese Fries are tasty AF. In town from Tucson and this is legitimately the first restaurant that truly impressed me. Quality cheese steaks when you're ready for a good meal. Bread was a cloud with how soft it was.

This is truly a hidden gem. It is a great spot for the authentic hearty cheesesteak made with love by a family legitimately straight from Philly. The place is on a smaller side, only a few tables inside, but they also have a drive-thru that is very convenient for those in a hurry. The place is clean and well-run. The staff is quick ,very kind and helpful. We have felt very welcomed and appreciated. We were greeted on the way in and thanked on the way out. The food was truly amazing. The sandwich (Garlic Parmesan Cheesesteak with sautéed onions) was served on an amazing bun. The bread was fresh and had just the right amount of "chewiness".. The steak itself was perfectly cooked, moist, flavorful, and perfectly melted cheese on top. This was not a small portion either, especially for the price. We highly recommend it!! Just GO and enjoy the BEST Philly in the Valley!! You can thank me later 😉😋

We stumbled upon Straight from Philly last year when we had some time between soccer games, and I'm SO glad we did. We visit Vegas at least once a year, and it has now become a regular stop for us, even if it is out of the way. We love the provolone cheese steaks, and the Parmesan fries are perfection. Highly recommend!

Great staff and quick, friendly service! The food is delicious and high-quality. My only small preference would be toasted bread instead of cold but that’s just me. Overall, a good experience.

Amazing CheeseSteaks and loaded fries. I've never had a Cheese-wiz cheesesteak, but this is amazing. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Nice people and a cozy atmosphere reminisce of a mom and pop shop.

I have to give them three stars only because the sandwiches tasted good ( I was hungry) nothing special though not in my opinion. The pastrami was skimpy on the meat it was more bread than meat and for $11-$13 dollars a sandwich they should be shame same with the Philly cheesesteak skimpy on the meat. The parm fries nothing special just fries with parm cheese sprinkled on it and a side of cheese whiz or you can get it directly on the fries. I'm still in search of the best Philly cheese spot (well far as I know right now there are only two in Henderson, NV) Bottom line will I come back here? NO...not enough meat on the sandwiches and the flavor was just meh nothing stood out like "oh my gosh this is good" NOPE nothing like that. It was just a decent sandwich that took care of my hunger...Would I recommend? Well I guess so, if you want to try them out see if you like them...They weren't for me and my expectations are high for an $11-$13 sandwich. They didn't meet my expectations. The pics of most of the sandwiches I see on the website and in the reviews MUST be from the owner my sandwich looked anorexic comapred to those Lol!

This place will overcharge you. Menu pricing is not what they charge you. So just make sure to look at your receipt unless you want to possibly pay an extra 15% on your item. I ordered, paid then sat. When I saw my receipt I noticed they charged me $5+$.50 for the spicy chili fries they had listed for $4.75. When I brought it to the order taker's attention he said "that's what the register says" I don't like to argue with inexperienced staff so I left it at that but to the owners, id recommend more training or just honor the pricing on your menu? As far as the food goes it was made quick but not much flavor, had to add salt but that didn't help much, bread was soft and not soggy but would try a handful of others first. Also Someone has to open the door to let you in the bathroom hallway, because it was locked full time I was there So if you're Looking for THE best cheesesteak spot in Vegas? This isn't it.

Very mid cheesesteak. I ordered both the #9 Philly Steak Special with provolone and the #19 Philly Chicken Special with provolone to split with a friend. The chicken steak would be ranked 3.5 stars and the beef steak would be 2.5 stars. The lower ranking is because of the dryness of the sandwich and the lack of flavoring. There was no sauce, mayo or anything and the meat itself wasn't moist. Any moisture from the meat was soaked up by the bread, and there was a high bread to everything else ratio. It needed more cheese or flavoring or something. There was only green peppers, no red peppers and no onion. Its not that is was bad, it was just okay. Nothing to rave about. I'll be trying other steak shops before I think about going back to this place again. The staff was nice but the shop looked old and weathered. Could use a fresh coat of paint and new tiles.

I've been wanting to hit up Straight from Philly Steakout for a minute, so yesterday I finally made it happen, and it was straight flames. Rolled up to the drive-thru, so I can't speak on the inside vibe, but the service came through smooth. Ordered up the Spicy Philly--you get to pick your cheese, plus it's loaded with peppers and that RedHot sauce. Threw in some garlic parm fries on the side too. Those garlic parm fries? Straight up slap--mad garlicky and cooked to perfection. Easy 9/10. The Spicy Philly? Not too spicy, but packed with flavor and cheesy goodness. Solid 8.5/10. Yeah, I'm definitely pulling up again.

First time here, been wanting to try it since we moved around the corner... Place is bomb! Definitely will be back to try more menu items... We both got spicy cheese fries-- little too heavy on the peppers for us (why I have 4 stars) BUT pushed some to the side and spice level is great and lots of cheese. Plus I'm sure you can order w/o or even light on the peppers... Definitely will be back! We went thru the drive through around 7ish on Sunday night and there was a line when we got in and a line behind us when we got out. We can see why!

I'm only giving 3 stars because they gave me the wrong fries. I ordered Parm Fries and they gave me regular fries. Even though I paid for Parm fries. Other than that they have good Philly steak sandwiches.

8/3/24: came back for awesome food and it never disappoints! Food was fresh, rolls were amorosa like always, and our stomachs were filled. It was also when we walked in so we luckily didn't have to wait too long for our food! The staff was quick; friendly and attentive, and they were not able to make us a cold cut sub due to a recall, but the Philly hit the spot! We love coming here when we are in the mood for some subs or Philly cheese? Come and try the cheese fries man they're awesome! We also noticed they have a sub we'll be trying next, the Philly Phanatic steak! It sounds great! I usually miss Straight from Philly Steakout every couple of months, so I have a tendency to come back. This time we opted to place our order to go to be able to finish some errands and chores. Of course, like always we had high expectations and we were excited to be able to try our usuals in hopes of the familiar taste we expect from them. We ordered the Italian sub with no onion or tomato, and a Philly cheese with American cheese. This order we also got their fries, and a cheese fries on the side to go with our meal. Both of our subs were wrapped so tight, that they stayed beautifully intact after we got home, and opened them. They were like always: fresh, delicious, and had all the flavor we expect from Straight from Philly Steakout! The fries were crispy, our cheese fries were tasty, our Italian sub wasn't soggy even with the oil, vinegar and spices they put on them, and as always very tasty and fresh. Anytime we vote to get Straight from Philly Steakout we are left so satisfied, and full all day. This is our go to spot for subs, and for fries because the food is always fresh and made with love. Maybe one day I'll try more of their options, but for now I am always so happy with our usual. If you're in the area, stop by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Not much to say because I'm just so floored how good this place is. Regular Philly cheese steak with cheese whiz and a side of chili cheese fries will surely send you to heaven immediately after, both figuratively and literally. The guys working are phenomenal, super quick and super helpful and the food is always consistent. I have been coming here for years and it's never changed. That is how you know a place is solid 10/10. Todays as my first time dining in as I often get it to-go but whether eating inside or drive thru, its always gonna hit!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was good. I still like capriottis better. The sandwich was a good size and had a good flavor. However, it wasn't seasoned well. I would add some spg.

I ordered the chez whiz steak. It was delivered barely warm. I threw it in my air frier and it was fine. The first order didn't arrive due to grub hub. When I called to ask the person on the phone was a bit rude about it. I still wanted to give them a try so I re-ordered. The flavor was good and the meat was tender. But just okay.

We stopped in for a quick dinner on our way home from Lake Mead last night and enjoyed our food. I had the Provolone Cheese Steak, hubby had the Cheez Whiz Steak, and we shared an order of regular fries. You really get a lot of bang for your buck since these cheesesteaks were huge. I enjoyed mine and was happy that the meat was nice & tender with no fat. My husband had fun trying a Cheez Whiz Steak, but said next time he'd probably get the one I had instead. Service was eh, but the food was darn good. They have a little seating area inside for about 15 people and a drive-thru for to-go orders. Next time we're on this side of town, we'll grab some cheesesteaks to go and enjoy them at Cornerstone Park now that the weather is getting nice.

I watched Mark Weins on YouTube of his tour of Philly's top 5 cheesesteak shops and got us thinking about Cheesesteaks. We thought about stopping by the familiar Jersey Mike's but decided to look for a local place and found this shop near us. We drove by here hundreds of times but never noticed this place. We stopped by on a weekday for a late lunch and it was not busy. We were hoping that it would be good as its namesake. We ordered the Pastrami with Provolone and the. #9 special with Cheesewiz which has peppers and onions,and the Garlic and Parmesan Cheese Fries. Everything was tasty but my #9 could have used some more grilled onions. I think I liked the fresh baked bread better at Jersey Mike's boy this place is near us so a good alternative. We'll have to try the Hoagies next time.

I'm always on the lookout for the perfect philly style steak around town. One to bury your head into the feast, eat those feelings, and get back out there to date again. You know what I'm saying. That meal that tastes better than the mess you left behind last night, and didn't even want the left overs. Let someone else have them. A place you can go to after a pool party to get that sandwich cure for the massive hangover too. My medicine? The feast included the Philly Steak Special with extra cheese, and an order of their Spicy Cheesy Fries. Both hit the spot, The service was on point, fast, and cooked perfectly. This will make you smile, trust me, add it to your list my friends. Never sacrifice your piece, except for when it's spicy food, that's always ok!

I hate to do this, but this is unacceptable. Reading all the good reviews about this place, I wanted to try them out. I experienced very poor customer service this evening. Called at about 7:30PM to place a phone order. To start, the man that answered the phone wasn't warm and didn't even make a proper phone greeting. "Told him good evening, I would like to place a phone order". He advised that they do not take phone orders which is fine. I already calculated my drive in my navigation, so I proceeded to ask if my order will still be taken if I get there in the next 15 minutes. He let out a breath then coldly responded "I close the window at 7:55PM" and left it at that. I said ok and thank you. I jumped up and rushed to my car to drive the 8 miles there. I arrived here at 7:52PM and when I got to the drive thru speaker, he said they're wrapping up and not taking any more orders. My issue here is him not honoring his statement. His phone demeanor should've been enough, but as I said, I really wanted to try this place. He could've just answered no to me since he was clearly over his evening and wanted to close shop. I get it which is why I even asked and I would've tried again a different day. Maybe it was an off night and unfortunately I ended up on the end of someone not having the best day, but this is still unacceptable. If the individual that answered the phone was the business owner, please consider better phone etiquette and customer service. If you guys don't want orders after a certain time, set that and honor it.

It used to be sooo good when they first opened but the last few times I been there my food has been GOD AWFUL and over priced. Arguably the driest thing I've ever eaten I literally had to go home and put seasoning on the cheesesteak and the fries for all three of my family members meals then drown them in ketchup just to make it edible. So unfortunate because I had such high hopes. Honestly I won't waste my time or money coming back. I've had better Philly cheesesteaks at a bowling alley. To top it off the guy working the drive thru acted like he was annoyed he had to serve us his customer service definitely reflected the quality of the food we received. 0/10 would not recommend.

The philly cheesesteak sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, but the absence of napkins was inconvenient and took away from the overall dining experience. Addressing this small detail would make the visit much more enjoyable.

Great spot for a nice, hearty cheesesteak made with love by a family legitimately straight from Philly. The family has been in the business of making authentic Philly cheesesteaks for over 30 years and they brought the business to Henderson. We come out to a nearby baseball field each year for a travel ball tournament and we feed the whole team with cheesesteaks with whiz. Love it!

I usually love this place and always so polite but this time I wasn't paid attention to. I ordered chicken, I got home and I had steak. Disappointing because I was ready for chicken. Also this wasn't a 3 cheese. Not happy at all.

This place is just FANTASTIC!! I LOVE this Phillys here. I have been several times. The last time were in town (we used to live in Henderson, but now visit Vegas when we can), I was able to bring my wife. She requested a great Philly Cheesesteak and I knew where to take her. She LOVED it!! I finally got to try the Hot Italian Hogie. OMG! WOW!! It was INCREDIBLE! Seriously. These folks are FROM Philly. The place is clean and well-run. The staff is ON IT and very kind and helpful. Just GO and enjoy the BEST Philly in the Valley!! I've tried them all.

9/29/2023 Straight out of the concierge (who's from Philly)...referred me ... Ordered the North Philly and the regular Philly with a side of fries.. Oh my! The bread is so soft and the meat nicely chopped and not one piece of fat... Flavors of the bell peppers and onions hit the spot. I don't think I can find a store in my city.. Glad I listened to the concierge..

AMAZING FOOD. Probably the BEST philly cheesesteak you can have in Vegas. While the service isn't the greatest, the food 1000% makes up for it. I will happily keep coming here!

I've been here prior and drive by this spot every day on our way to school; but on a night we had late hockey practice my son said mom what about that steak place with the drive thru! Excited for my son to want something outside of "fast food" I was determined to make it from practice in Anthem back home in time for us to stop by! With about 15-20 mins before close we pulled into the drive thru to make our order. The menu was a little intimidating for an 8-year old and I proceeded to explain the menu so he knew what everything met. The man on the mic was so nice, understanding this was our first time and patiently waited as I broke things down. Philly stead with American cheese was his order. Plain and simple (I was shocked he didn't want cheese wiz, but respected his independence and preferences) When we got to the window for pick up they prompted handed us our order and instructed us to wait because they coupled our sandwich with some freshly dropped FREE fries. My son didn't even order fries but thought the gesture was so nice for this being his first time. We both agreed. Needless to say my son are all his meal and when he ordered it again a week later made sure he got fries this time as well! Delicious Philly cheesesteak spot and even better service! p.S. their chicken cheesesteaks are bomb as well.

Another great meal to be had here... They would've nailed the five out of five stars on this review, but for some reason when we called up to put in our order, they said we had to come in and place it or go through the drive-through and we were trying to get a quick order in between the playoff football games. Nevertheless, everybody here is super friendly and they're always making legit cheesesteaks with Amaroso rolls. There's another place in Henderson with a similar name without the word "STEAKOUT" do not mistake that one for this one. This one is legit the other one not so good. looks like they've been making some upgrades with new menu boards and such. That means business is good and that means fresh ingredients used all the time... You can't go wrong here.

If you like spicy food, the spicy cheese fries are so good. I love coming here. The food is always so good. Highly recommend!

Hate to say it but WAY too salty. I grabbed one of these on my way home, friendly service at drive thru. But when I got home and ate the sandwich, I only could eat half because it was way too salty. And these aren't cheap! Fries were good though. Too bad. Just got back from Philly and was hoping it would be my local go to for cheesesteak fix.

I have gone to this place for years and always had great service. But things have changed today was uncalled for. They screwed up a little thing on my order but refused to find out what it was or to help me . They just said they were busy and ignored me so I'm forced to take home the wrong order . They screwed up the order for a lady that was in front of me too . But they were extremely rude i. I expect that in Philly but this is Las Vegas so ​ doesn't fly they've lost my business forever and I will spread the word .

We've driven by this place many times and have always wanted to check it out but every time we had just eaten. Finally today we planned on stopping in! It's a tiny little place with a four or five tables around the counter area; it seemed like a lot of people came in for take out. The guy at the counter was friendly, helpful and efficient. We ordered a mushroom steak and one with just provolone. The bread was soft, the steak could have used a little pepper but other than that it was great.. and it was topped off with lots of melty provolone. Great service, great price point, great sandwich

This place is amazing! We have gone here quite a few times cause there is no better tasting Philly cheesesteak sandwich! The owner provided Top notch service, courteous, even held the door open for us after personally bringing us the food. The food was delicious. I loved that he customized it for me, with no onions or veggies since I'm picky. It was no inconvenience to them which I appreciated. they never get our orders wrong cause they always pay attention and I appreciate that as well. The place is very tiny, well lit but it's a hidden gem! you gotta check this place out, you will love it!

I was in the area and looked on Yelp and this place came up... and I'm so glad this place came up. I haven't had a Philly cheese steak in a min. This place definitely hit the spot. A real hidden gem. They have multiple different Phillies you can try. The bread is on point the meat was cooked perfectly. Let me tell you this Philly was loaded with meat... they don't skimp!!! I loved it!! I also got the garlic parm fries.... They were decent but I got them to go I bet fresh they would had been good. I was impressed with the service too. They were extremely fast getting it all ready and everything was cooked to ordered. Then they brought the bag to me where I was sitting. This place has a few tables that you can dine in but it's a more a to go place. They also have a drive thru.

I love the food and concept at Straight out of Philly. Would love to give this place a 5 plus however the kid taking my order and running the register was just all out nasty and rude. He needs to be fired and then maybe he will get a huge attitude check. You need to solve this problem asap or you will loose your business. Spent the first 36 years of my life in Philly so I am very familiar with the product.

I literally just finished a sandwich from Straight From Filly. Not kidding...I'm still wiping my fingers clean. I drive by this place every single day and have done so for a year now. I am kicking my own butt for not stopping in the day they opened. First, don't let the exterior fool you. When they say don't judge a book by its cover, the same can be said for SFP. A big + , cheesesteaks best in city. Had the cheesesteaks in Philly(Pats, Jims, Geno's) These are totally on par! Had others in Vegas, a bunch of wanna be's.

First time here and we will definitely be coming back! My husband tried the #6 with american and no onions. I had the #3 with onions. The bread was nice and soft and both were delicious! 2 cheesesteaks for around $27. Not bad. Worth it.

I only took off a star for cleanliness as far as eating inside this small take-out restaurant. The Philly cheesesteak tasted delicious and reminded us of Philly for certain They meat was so tender and moist with the toppings of choice that melted in our mouths! We will be ordering again, and again, as this is clearly a new favorite for us!!

Overall, the cashier didn't have the best attitude on the drive thru but the sandwiches were pretty good. cheesesteak and mushrooms lacked some seasoning but it was a good choice for a quick lunch. The pastrami was the best of the two, but do joy expect any sauerkraut on this one

Mediocre at best. Not impressed but I really liked the bread they used. We walked in for service this evening. The seating area is small and not good for big groups. They have a drive thru for quick pick ups. Ample parking in lot. We got the plain steak, cheese wiz steak w/American, philly steak special, garlic fries and bacon cheddar fries. Wish there was more bacon. Steak was tender but very shredded & a lot of it fell out our sandwiches.

Love that they have a drive thru option, wait time was not long at all. Got the #9, super delicious and filling. Price was reasonable! My favorite part was the bread !!! Super fresh and fluffy.

Put in an order with grub hub and after waiting 20 minutes grub hub told me my order was cancelled! It's just after 7pm and they don't close until 9! They won't answer their phone either. Terrible customer service. Why would you not honor my order and why would you wait so long to cancel? Had the whole family waiting for the order! Won't be going back there

This man up at the register is a horrible employee!!!! But the food was good. I'd give the spicy cheese steak special a 8/10. Won't probably be back here for a bit but, the customer service is a -10/10 they need to hire undercover boss out to weed out the bad employees.mans at the spoke like a mouse and got mad when I couldn't hear him to repeat the options. Whole experience 2/10. no pics cause it belongs in the trash. I'll go back though.
