The 38 Best Restaurants in Buenos Aires, Argentina | Eater

"For decades, beer drinkers in Buenos Aires almost exclusively consumed Quilmes, the national brand. In recent years, however, the city has seen an artisanal beer boom of epic proportions. There may be dozens of cervecerias in every barrio, but few are quite as welcoming as this microbrewery and taproom, which serves quite solid pub grub. Strange gets busy, so get there early or expect to perch on the curb." - Allie Lazar

The 15 Best New Restaurants in Buenos Aires | Eater

"For decades, beer drinkers in Buenos Aires almost exclusively consumed Quilmes, the national brand. But in recent years, the city has seen an artisanal beer boom of epic proportions. There may be dozens of solid cervecerías in every barrio, but few are quite as welcoming as Strange Brewing. The large warehouse includes a microbrewery, taproom bar, beer garden, and open kitchen. The space fills up almost every night, but maintains a low-key atmosphere. A rotating selection of about 10 beers — including IPA, pale ale, amber and dunkel — change regularly. Even though Strange opened in September 2017, the eclectic food menu has substantially evolved over the past 12 months, especially when guest chefs began hosting pop-ups, serving anything from tacos to seasonal goulash and lentil stew to Texas-style barbecue." - Allie Lazar

I travelled through Argentina a few weeks ago. On my last day my brother took me to Strage Brewing so I could have a taste of the local craft beer; and I kind of regret letting him take me there because their beer has now ruined every other craft beer for me. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the most delicious beer I've ever had. It does not matter what you order from their offerings, they are all delicious. And on top of that the staff will give you the warmest welcome imaginable, they'll offer you to have a taste of their product before you order if you're not sure yet. One of the guys behind the bar saw I was intrigued by the beer barrels at the back and he offered to give me a tour of how their beer is made. I got to learn about the process and was even given beer fresh from the barrel. At the end of the night, I bought some beers to bring back to Colombia and the guys there helped me choose which ones would survive the trip without having their flavor altered, and then gifted me a bunch of goodies for me to take home. If you are a fan of beer and visiting Buenos Aires, you simply can't miss this place.

Google
It was a nice place and experience a bit packed thou. I had the Seoul strange it was amazing their kimchi is actually spicy, which I was not expecting it. My only complain was my sour beer, which was definitely not sour at all so that was unfortunate.

Google
Excellent beer, really great vibe. Beer was on par with top craft beer in North America. Food was good, but not amazing. Would love to try more of the menu though. Would happily come back!

Google
Easily my favorite bar in Buenos Aires. Everytime I go I always feel like I'm in a brew pub back in Colorado (a compliment). The beers are great, the food is excellent, and the music is always on point.

Google
Love Strange brewery 🍻 but nachos aren’t what they use to be - new ones have dry and flavourless pulled beef. Buyer beware. I've searched across the city for a good sour beer, and I finally found it at Strange! Such cool vibes here and it was even packed at 8pm on a Monday. Now I'm from the Pacific northwest, where craft beer reigns supreme, and while the Cassius Clay here was good, it's definitely not as tart as I'm use to. Doesn't really matter, it's still the best beer so far in BA though!

We loved the beers at Strange. There was a bit of a wait to be seated but truly these beers were worth the wait! Excellent brews and the atmosphere is great as well.

Google
Absolutely loved this place. I came with my parents, who both enjoy craft beer, and we came back one more time during our visit. The beers are fantastic, but the biggest surprise is the food – everything we had was not only delicious, but very inventive from a culinary sense. The vibe is usually very fun and lively. I’ll come back again before leaving the city. Oh, and fun branding as well. 🤘🏼

Yelp
Very interesting spot. Extensive beer selection, a little on the pricier side but what we got was delicious. Hip decor and crowd. Good location, easy to get to.

Yelp
Amazing beers, on par with what I'm used to in California. Nachos are the best item on the menu.

Yelp
Excelente cervecería y lugar para juntarse con amigos y comer algo rico tipo tapeo! Las cervezas son muy buenas y la comida que uno espera mucho de un bar, nos sorprendió! Excellent brewery and place to get together with friends and eat delicious tapas! The beers are very good and the food, which you don't expect a lot from a bar, surprised us!
