Strangelove Coffee & Wine

Super cute coffee shop!! Came on Sunday at 8am and it wasn’t busy. Lots of seating and loved how they told us all their syrups were house made. The iced vanilla latte was delicious!

Love the vibe of the coffee - very cozy and the lighting & decor was perfect. The indoor is more intimate, and the outdoor seating was huge with outlets available. Good place to work remote from - not sure with meetings. I got the matcha latte but they taste eh. Will try actual coffee latte next time. Service was good.

Amazing little spot for both coffee and wine. I popped in on a Wednesday afternoon and was immediately impressed with the atmosphere. The walls and ceilings of all wood and the green checkered retro flooring was such a vibe and so cozy. I ordered a glass of orange wine, and as an orange wine fan, I was very satisfied with the quality and ~funkiness~ of the wine (none of that orange wine that just tastes like rose over here!). I found myself hungry and saw that the only food options for that time in the afternoon that wasn’t nuts, pastries, or something really small was a cheese board. I asked about how big it was and the woman at the counter told me it was certainly a two person size but kindly made me a half portion of it and BOY was it amazing. The breads and house seasoned nuts that came with these cheeses were just exceptional (I need to find out who their baker is!) and of course the cheeses delivered. They were so kind and gave me more than a half portion and I left no crumbs! Such a great place to get some work done with coffee or hang with friends or a book over a glass of wine. I cannot wait to be back and cannot recommend Strangelove enough!

Such a cute, homey cafe/ wine bar with a great sense of mid-century modern bohemian style! Highly recommend for a reading coffee spot or a wine bar for date night!!

Came in to do work on a Friday and it ended up being a lovely afternoon. Their cold brew was perfect, all of their syrups are house made, and they have a good selection of pastries and small bites. The space is adorable and the ladies working behind the bar are the sweetest! Parking isn’t the best, but there is street parking across the street from Caesar Chavez.

Love is strange, and that’s how I would explain my fascination with this place. As a coffee industry outsider, this place hits all the marks. The baristas are extremely cool but friendly and will be happy to chat intelligently about culture, coffee or what’s happening in the world. Attention to detail to the ambiance and music complete the picture. Don’t miss it I got to try the very first cheese table ever served in this location — and every cheese was delicious. I go to Austin a least once a year and the coffee I have had has always been ok but I found this place and it was some of the best coffee I have found the homemade syrup and the cute atmosphere was a huge plus! And great customer service was amazing with any questions we had!

I got the cappuccino (no picture taken but their espresso is smooth and rich✨ slight hints of chocolate) and a glass of their Absentee red wine🌹. The wine was smooth and full bodied, slightly sweet and delicious. I had to buy a pizza to go with it. Wanted to buy the bottle but they don’t sell it 😭, all in all great place! Parking is tough, i parked across the street in a neighborhood, but the backyard and patio are wonderful to hangout in.

Cute spot with really beautiful decor! Sadly it missed the mark because 1) no parking on site, and 2) really limited indoor seating. I was able to find street parking, but that's not always available and was on the side of the literal main street so I was worried someone would hit my car (although this did not happen). Also, there is plenty of seating outside, but this is not realistic to use during warmer months, which is probably half of the year or more. The coffee I got was what I expected, which was nice. I would recommend coming here during the workday if you can, so that it's not crowded.

The coffee is very good. Ambience is definitely one of my favorite parts of the café. I will say that the service is definitely familiar with clientele.

Awesome place in a super cute 100 year old house. Coffee is by Figure 8 and is really good. Great wines too. Friendly staff and nice owners! A good place to work in the morning and hang out at night!! Love all around!!!

my matcha was extremely gross and i had to throw it out. using baking quality matcha and charging what yall charge for it is wild! you got my money once, but ill never be back to spend money here. the vibes were cute and the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. thats the only reason i say three stars, but this isn't somewhere you go for matcha. real matcha drinkers, it's a no. matcha and milk separated almost instantly and the taste was so gross.

I visited Strangelove this morning. The inside has a charming atmosphere. There are a few tables to sit at in the back as well as a bar area with stools. I had an iced matcha latte. It was reasonably priced for the size. There wasn't a big selection of pastries. There were two cookies and two coffee cakes when I arrived. They also sell breakfast tacos. They had three options, but I forgot what they were. I liked sitting in the outside area. Plenty of tables and a covered area as well. I would return to try the wine and cheese.

Street parking only! Seating is limited inside unless you're willing to sit outside. I tried the matcha and it was okay. I rather try their HH wine next time or coffee.

I LOVE STRANGE LOVE!!!! Best vibes best workers best patio in atx. Very romantic at night :-)
