Eater Awards 2019: Nashville Restaurant, Design, and Dish of the Year Finalists - Eater Nashville

"A meal at the tasting menu restaurant’s U-shaped counter from Strategic Hospitality has always been a special one, but new chef Will Aghajanian and pastry chef Liz Johnson have taken it to the next level — where every course truly is a work of art in flavor and in presentation." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Strategic Hospitality Is Bringing Shaved Ice to 12 South | Eater Nashville

"A Metro building permit, confirmed by the Nashville Business Journal, indicates Strategic Hospitality intends to dedicate part of the building beside Franklin Juice Company at 2305 12th Ave. S. to shaved ice; the permit was issued last week but offers few details, and a company representative said they've talked with Trevor Moran about various opportunities and continue to explore ideas and projects." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Paradise Park’s Final Weekend Includes $5 Burgers and Shotgun Weddings (Yes, Really) | Eater Nashville

"I’m marking the end of a trailer park era at Strategic Hospitality’s Paradise Park, which goes out with a deep southern twang this weekend complete with sweet tea, an on-site photo booth, and commemorative koozies. The farewell kicks off Friday, July 27 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., with SH’s online-ordained minister Max Goldberg available to officiate first-time weddings and vow renewals; couples who participate receive ring pops, top hats, and tiaras with veils and a coupon for free chili cheese tots and sweet tea. The final Saturday begins with family fun from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring $5 burgers and $6 pitchers, and the venue will be selling 50 framed squares of the bar’s astroturf with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Oasis Center for local at-risk youth. The concluding Saturday night trailer-park party continues until the doors close for the last time at 3 a.m., as the Paradise Park Trailer Resort shutters next month." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Let me start by saying, I have been in the hospitality industry for 13 years and even with the current COVID-19 situation. The experience that myself and my lady friends experienced at Merchants in Tennessee far exceeded what we expected and our Server K.B. was 100 percent responsible for that. He was amazing. I have worked in various large cities and his energy, banter and timing was on point at all times. He made us so comfortable to be there even after the pandemic. It was seemingly effortless for him. Hats off to K.B. at Merchants. From the flavor profiles, knowledge of the menu and ingredients. He was amazing He knew when and when not to insert himself. Id like to see him try a management role because his emotional intelligence level was amazing. My lady friend is a therapist and proffesor, even she picked up on how easily he made us feel at home and was extremely genuine and caring. Woooooow. Great experience 👍. Ill be back for certain.
