Strattons Hotel

‘A Hidden Gem In Swaffham’ This is a charming boutique hotel with lots of emphasis on the local area and history. We have family in Swaffham and always choose to stay at Strattons. This is a family run business and the owners (Les and Vanessa) are such lovely people and they are always amenable to our requests. We always book directly with the hotel, as we find this more personable and we can discuss the room types available, so we know we are booking the room that is perfect for us as a family. We also like to book directly with the hotel, as we are aware of the hefty commission these small businesses have to pay to booking sites, each time a reservation is made through one. This is a beautiful family run hotel. We have had a wonderful stay this week and we will certainly be back!

Great stay, v private, quiet and clean. ||Funky décor and really nice folks that run this place. Def recommend.||Great option for self catering, families or traveling for work. ||Brilliant base to explore Norfolk, secure car park with a handy electric fast charge

Worst hotel and customer service experience I've ever had. Hotel sold our pre booked room that was booked months in advance to somebody else!! Gave us a completely different room one that doesn't feature in the images used by the hotel to advertise as it was probably the worst room in the hotel having booked one of the nicest rooms we thought we were getting a beautiful room with a lounge, 4 poster bed and bathtub and got a tiny room with a bed and a bathroom that didn't even have a proper door, when I expressed how unhappy I was I was basically argued with and told it was my fault. No apology, no attempt to rectify the situation.The room we were given was dirty the bathroom mirror had handprints and splatter all over it, cobwebs in the bedroom. Would not recommend any part of our stay and considering it cost the same as a 4* boutique hotel in Kent I'm honestly dumbfounded at the poor service. I would avoid if you want to get the room you actually book!!

Well that was a wonderful stay.|I booked my room and ended up in CoCoes One.|It is as the pictures, I was able to get some study done which was for the reason for the stay.|I was met and showed to my accommodation by Les who was great with all that he showed me.|In my room was fridge with milk, which I forgot to get, also was fruit and a pastry.|I sat on the balcony most of the evening listening to the birds and church bells.|I have had a wonderful overnight stay.|I have no worries about staying again........and I will.|Steph

Beauitful Hotel, Ideal location, stunning rooms and decor. Just everything you could want or need for a romantic weekend away. The owners Les and Ness are so helpful and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible with little thoughtful touches throughout. From the home-made bagels, fruit, milk and pastries (how did you know almond croissants are my favourite ever) all left in the room for us to helping us locate local taxi firms. We stayed in the Boudoir room and it was perfect. Very comfortable, nice size room and beautiful roll top bath with separate shower. ||Thank you Ness and Les so much for making it such a memorable stay. We cannot wait to visit you again in the future.

We'd been at a large 40th birthday party nearby and needed somewhere to recover and chillout and this helped us do just that. We stayed in one of their apartments and everything was true to the photos online. We were lucky with the weather so the room got a little warm. It overlooked the other apartment a little.||It was a very comfortable and modern space with a relaxing lounge space. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order.||Only gripe, wifi was not strong enough to use Netflix. We had a good time.

We recently spent one night at Strattons while on an independent bicycle trip around Norfolk. I was looking for a place to stay in Swaffham area and Strattons website caught my eye, so I booked one of the apartments in a new building on the property. It was simply terrific! We arrived to find the owners in the garden and the two of them could not have been friendlier or more hospitable. |The hotel location is excellent - in a quiet residential area just two minutes walk from shops/downtown. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and filled with light - living area, kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom, all totally modern, nicely furnished, and in great condition. They provided everything we needed for a nice breakfast the next morning: coffees, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, pastries; which we enjoyed on our dining table. |Swaffham is a nice town with a beautiful church - and we were just sorry we couldn't have stayed longer since Strattons was such a great place.

We stayed in Print Room2 , well laid out with separate bedroom comfy bed and a nice balcony with table |and chairs. Loved it.| Swaffham Church is a must visit and excellent fish chips in town.|Wells next the sea is 45 mins away always worth a visit 10/10
