Food and service is okayish. The view in the haven city is the best. We were waiting a bit for service. The waitor later on explained there was a bit of a gap while the new shift arrived. The Lapskaus was good together with matjes. The pizzeta was more for kids. Anyway the short lunch was not too bad.

I ordered the Tomahawk steak rare to medium-rare and it came out PERFECT! It was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection, had a wonderful crust on the outside and the inside wasn't cold at all. It melted in my mouth with every bite! I also asked the server's opinion for a wine to pair with it, with the context I don't like dry wine, and he went and grabbed me the perfect wine, that wasn't dry and wasn't sweet, without hesitation and that was a harmonious pairing with the steak. After dinner I asked the server what he would suggest for dessert, he said the creme brûlée, so that's what I got. It was the ideal end of the dinner. Light, airy, delicious and had a side of fruits,, nuts and sherbert. I will definetly be returning on my next visit to Hamburg. Second visit - I had the same waiter (who immediately recognized me) and I asked him what I should get to try a bunch of different things (no steak this time). He suggested 4 starters, white wine and 2 desserts. It was all delicious! I couldn't have asked for a better waiter, service or food. The food was incredible! The owner/head chef also comes out regularly to check on people and also recognized me. I absolutely love this place, they made me feel right at home (even in a foreign country to me) and if I ever visit hamburg again I will be coming here again without a doubt.

This place made me question greatly how Michelin do their ratings. The staff was snobby and inattentive, we got some of the worst service we've ever gotten at a Michelin restaurant here. At first the man that received us, didn't believe us when we said we had reservations. Then he didn't take our jackets (he took everyone else's jacket). When we ordered our food the waiter was rude. Then our waiter assumed we didn't want wine. Then they undercooked my steak, and when I asked for a new one, they simply put my old steak back on the heat, so when I got it back, it was charred. My partners food was quite good. However a restaurant that cant nail a simple medium-rare steak every single time, is not deserving of a michelin star. Let alone one that recycles their steak after messing it up. Hamburg has a great food scene, but this place is not one of them. Furthermore owner is now attempting to remove all bad reviews, by complaining to google.

We went to Strauchs Falco after a friend recommended it to me and we were pleasantly surprised! Nice and friendly service, always close when you needed to order something else. Nice wine selection and the steak we had was just right, prepared on lava stone. Overall great value for what you get. Thank you for making our stay special, we will definitely visit again.

Quality food with friendly staff. Found a gem on the wine list from Italy that was a bargain!

Beautiful restaurant I was able to visit during my stay in Hamburg, the area outside was just lovely and the ambiance within met my expectations. Food was 10/10, I especially loved the spaghetti with prawns. Service was great also, thanks Strauchs Falco

Very tasty food and a large menu. The food is prepared very beautifully and the flavors were great. We had fish and shellfish and were very pleased. The location is very good, and the interior looks good. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The waitors, we had two young men, are unattentive and look very untidy. They are rude and seem not to understand that they are working in a service profession. We would come back for the food, but not if having to suffer through these unappetizing and unprofessional characters. We also would have rated the restaurant much higher, but the waiters made it a third-class experience.
