"This smart and stylish restaurant is next to the Maritime Museum. Situated in the Elbarkaden in the middle of HafenCity, it also boasts an appealing terrace. The menu features a variety of cuisines from around the globe, including specialities from the barbecue, Mediterranean dishes, such as fish and shellfish soup, German classics likeLabskaus(meat stew) and Wiener schnitzel, as well as pasta. Additionally, there is the Bar & Deli." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious food with nice presentation. Friendly and kind staff. They don't let you wait with your hunger and serve a special bread with olive oil and sea salt. Could be little bit better with a comfy outside seating option and some wine variety outside of Europe, especially from South America.

Food and service is okayish. The view in the haven city is the best. We were waiting a bit for service. The waitor later on explained there was a bit of a gap while the new shift arrived. The Lapskaus was good together with matjes. The pizzeta was more for kids. Anyway the short lunch was not too bad.

I came into this restaurant by chance as I was walking around in the area and was pretty hungry. As soon as I entered, I was pretty impressed and considered myself lucky for getting a table. They seated me in a 4 seat table as there was plenty of space, with views to the canal. I went to wash my hands and when I was heading to the table, the main waiter decided to change my table and seated me in a corner, where there was no views, no light and besides a table with kids that was pretty noise. He really spoiled my dinner, and given the price, I found it frustrated. Food was okay but not brilliant either. I would not come back.

I ordered the Tomahawk steak rare to medium-rare and it came out PERFECT! It was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection, had a wonderful crust on the outside and the inside wasn't cold at all. It melted in my mouth with every bite! I also asked the server's opinion for a wine to pair with it, with the context I don't like dry wine, and he went and grabbed me the perfect wine, that wasn't dry and wasn't sweet, without hesitation and that was a harmonious pairing with the steak. After dinner I asked the server what he would suggest for dessert, he said the creme brûlée, so that's what I got. It was the ideal end of the dinner. Light, airy, delicious and had a side of fruits,, nuts and sherbert. I will definetly be returning on my next visit to Hamburg. Second visit - I had the same waiter (who immediately recognized me) and I asked him what I should get to try a bunch of different things (no steak this time). He suggested 4 starters, white wine and 2 desserts. It was all delicious! I couldn't have asked for a better waiter, service or food. The food was incredible! The owner/head chef also comes out regularly to check on people and also recognized me. I absolutely love this place, they made me feel right at home (even in a foreign country to me) and if I ever visit hamburg again I will be coming here again without a doubt.

We went to Strauchs Falco after a friend recommended it to me and we were pleasantly surprised! Nice and friendly service, always close when you needed to order something else. Nice wine selection and the steak we had was just right, prepared on lava stone. Overall great value for what you get. Thank you for making our stay special, we will definitely visit again.

Yelp
The food was alright, but the food took four hours to come. I don't think anything warrants that. We ordered a sampling of appetizers to start: English translation of menu: Starters, served in the "Family Style": Vitello tonnato Special: slices of pink fried veal back with tuna sauce, capers and Octopus fried in paprika. The octopus was good, but the veal wasn't. Tuna tattoo Oriental: they were out of this, so they ended up bringing (without notice) the tatar from Husum beef fillet classically dressed, with baked capers. This was very bad. We didn't eat it because the meat didn't taste like it was high enough quality to eat raw. Pear Radish Carpaccio with Goat Cheese with lemon balm vinaigrette and goat cream cheese: this was pretty boring and the goat cheese pieces were too large. Pancetta Fig Pizzette: a Pancetta in beech wood from the Berkelmaschine fresh fig, almond slivers. This was actually delicious. A Pimentos de Padron: these were pretty boring, but we ate them anyways because we were waiting so long for our food that we became very hungry. Red Lentils with Mango and Harrissa: same situation as the pimentos de padron. Loup de Mer D (about 450g - 550g) in the whole with lime oil and rosemary potatoes: the fish was very boring. I wouldn't recommend this. Chest of the French "Label Rouge" black-feathered chicken with grilled pumpkin, wild mushrooms, vermouth sauce, herb gnocchi: this was very good. The sauce was a little heavy, but it was overall pretty good. The side salad it came with wasn't so good. It was pretty boring. The food was mediocre and took way too long, although the view is pretty.
