I had an absolutely amazing experience at Straw & Bubbles Boba Bar in Glenview! From the moment I walked in, Jenny greeted me with such warmth and kindness, instantly making me feel welcome. Her friendly and attentive service truly made my visit special. The atmosphere was inviting, and the croffles was beyond delicious—perfectly crafted with great flavors and the perfect texture. I left feeling so happy and satisfied! This will definitely be my go-to spot for boba and croffles, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic drink , croffles, and even better service!

First time trying this location was this past September, first time in general was at the Mount Prospect location. I must say the bubble tea & croffles here are truly wonderful and my 9-year-old son loves the bubble tea, he ONLY drinks Taro which has been going on since he took his first sip just before his 3rd b-day. Cozy and cute shop in the heart of Glenview, don't know if this is a limited local or national chain but I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Such a good place! So hard finding fun matchas without being overly sweet! Definitely will be coming again! Croffles were so good.

Friendly staff, great selection of drinks and ramen. Cute, sunny decor. Milk alternatives (oat, cocount) available for allergic people or vegans. Tiger sugar matcha was delicious with coconut milk. Perfect level of sweetness without being overpowering.

Absolutely phenomenal little shop. The croffles were incredible and delicious. Loved the atmosphere and selection of Korean ramens and whatnot as well.

The moment we walked in, the person working said hello. She has a very contagious energy and was so sweet our entire visit. The decorations are so festive. It’s a very charmingly bright space! Although they have a smaller menu, all the drinks are creative & cute. We got the Tiger Sugar Matcha Latte and a Brown Sugar Oat Milk Tea Latte. Both of them were good!

Very cute little boba shop! You order on a kiosk so don't really have to deal with anyone and the boba is very good. The pearls weren't too chewy and the brown sugar boba mot too sweet. The ambiance is adorable and will definitely be a new neighborhood fave!

Smoothies are so good and we come here every time for their amazing boba. So creamy and delicious. I definitely recommend trying this place out. Also if you are hungry they all different kinds of ramens to choose from. Finally I have to say that their croffles are amazing! They're significantly so good and amazing definitely try this place out! :) (Written by my 11 year old)

This is a very cozy and quaint place. They have 2 kiosks where you can place your order. I got the triple berry matcha latte with oat milk and the salted caramel & butter croffle. This if my first time having a croffle and it was pretty good though smaller than I expected. The matcha latte was not bad either. There is limited seating but my friend and I came during less busy hours so we were able to sit and chat. This place is more of a grab and go. A large group of people came in to place their orders and we made our way out to avoid the crowd. I'd like to come back another time and try their other flavors.

Such a cute shop! My brother and I stopped by to grab some drinks and croffles. The croffles and drinks were so good! I'll definitely have to come back again :-)

We randomly came across this boba tea spot today and it was great! I had never had a croissant waffle and they were delicious! My husband called it life changing. I had the peach oolong boba tea and it was really good and the person working there was super kind. I will definitely be back!

Ordered a mango cream ice upon my kid's request, and it was really good. I'd come back again to get this. I'm not usually all for drinks with whipped cream and the like in it (I usually ask for my coffees without whipped cream on top), it it was a good blend of the mango and cream that made for an interesting drink. We also got a croffle with Nutella and biscotti on top. I really enjoyed that as well. It was on the smaller side, but the perfect size for us, and came with a good price tag too. One of our friends got a milk tea, and she said it was gritty (maybe unmelted powder??) so I wasn't too hopefully about the milk teas, but may try it next time.

This is a cute tea bar in downtown Glenview. When you walk in, there are kiosks where you place your order. We had a longer wait for our order because there was only one woman working when we visited (her helper didn't arrive until later), but it was worth it. It's nice inside, but fyi there is minimal seating. There are benches outside the shop as well. It was a sunny day when we visited so we sat outside. The teas and croffles were delicious! This was my first time having a croffle, and I was in love. The tapioca is prepared so well - perfectly sweet, chewy, and bouncy. I will definitely be going back!

Let's start with prices. Prices are fair. The ones complaining that it's overly expensive, obviously don't know anything about the current economy. If you have common sense, you'll know that the price of everything has gone up - look at groceries and gas. Now, use that brain and look at the cost of eating out and buying boba teas. With that said, i ordered a strawberry matcha latte. It was very tasty, not too sweet. Remember people, if someone says everything is too sweet they probably didn't try out the whole menu. The croissants were delicious. I tried out mango and blueberry cream. They had just the right balance of flavor. Not sweet. Free street parking. They open later than some of the other boba places. Staff was nice, friendly, and attentive. Definitely not rude. I would disregard the 1-2 star reviews. They evidently don't know anything. If you work and can't afford a boba drink, then might as well stay home.

Come for the croffles, stay for the tea This bright and cozy bubble tea place cast a welcoming neon glow as we navigated through the dreary downpour today. The two kiosks are easy to navigate and place your order. A handwritten note explained that espresso was not available today. We had a hard time deciding on which croffles to order but we settled on Salted Caramel & Butter and Matcha Cream. The Croffles are about four-bites size, crispy and light, with delicious toppings. I loved the Salted Caramel & Butter (three cubes of salted butter on top) and my friend enjoyed their Matcha croffle. There are lots of drinks to choose from and they offer regular boba, crystal boba, coffee jelly and other toppings. I went with the Strawberry Dolce Latte and my friend ordered a Milk Taro Tea. Mine had a pronounced strawberry taste with real strawberry purée, not too sweet, and nice chewy boba. My friend thought the Taro taste was good. Overall a super pleasant shop, no seating, but bright and clean with street parking.

Return customer here. There bubble tea is consistent. Their classic boba is sweetened and has a good bounce to it . The staff is friendly. They have an interesting pastry that look like a waffle but taste like a croissant. We tried one and it was good.

i moved here from the Bay Area of California, and wow.... i'm amazed. For this type of quality of drink and food the price is impeccable. The crofes are amazing plain, and 3 for 5 is a great deal. The drinks are gorgeous and so creamy and flavorful they have wifi too so i definitely will come back to study. The lady here was so nice, she gave me freebies for being the last one in the store. Such a cute little cafe.

Hands down the best bubble tea I've ever had. Reasonably priced and quick ordering with the kiosks. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon but we still got our drinks in a reasonable time. I thought my Thai iced tea was slightly above average but the taro tea was incredible!!! It looked and tasted amazing so this will definitely be my go to drink here!

Cute small bubble tea store. Easy way to order and pay on a large screen, a good amount of different options. The milk taro was delicious and looked good. The strawberry cream also looked good. Both tasted surprisingly great. Will definitely come back to try other flavors. Also, very friendly and quick service.

Minimal effort put toward ambiance. The chair I sat on was wobbly and could fall apart soon. The ordering screens take away from customer care and interaction opportunities. The boba was clumped together. I had to rip apart the film of the cup to scoop it out. Flavor of the taro tea was good not great.

I eyed this new donut and bubble tea spot as I was leaving yoga the other week. Welcome to Glenview Road, Straw and Bubbles! I stopped in within the week for an early morning treat. My mini me selected the strawberry cream cheese donut, which was crisply fried and had strawberry cream cheese iced on top with a few freeze dried strawberry pieces. It was pricey at $4.50, but very fresh. Other unique flavors offered include mint Oreo, salted caramel butter, and red bean. Not your traditional flavors, which I liked as a welcome change. They don't have decaf espresso, so instead of a coffee drink, I tried a hot lychee chamomile tea instead, which was $5.50 for 16oz. It was definitely a splurge but the flavors were very premium. Fresh mint and lots of diced lychee were added to the drink. Staff was friendly, and store was clean. Ordering and payment is done through 1 of 2 kiosks mounted on the wall. Also note that there isn't seating available right now, so plan accordingly! Rounding up 3.5 stars.

Solid milk tea for the suburbs. We did a carryout order and brought it home to drink. The flavor was good for milk tea and it was not overly sweet. There was definitely a good amount of caffeine in it. I even saved one for the next day and it was still good.

I had the orange mango tea and mango cream slush. Both were good. The service is not bad though the server is not so friendly. The place needs a little bit more face lift to make more pleasing.

Cute spot for some boba! You can order on their kiosks and you get to pick from a variety of teas, boba tea, coffees, and more! I loved my ube tea, the flavor was true to taste and with the perfect amount of sweetness! The prices are fairly expensive overall, but the quality is worth it.

Ran into the place while in the area. Looks like a newer establishment. I ended up ordering at the kiosk. It was easy and quick. I order the ocean water. It was really. I wonder if they make their own lemonade because it was tart. But overall still pretty good. They also had croffles but I didn't get to try it.

Very cutesy ambiance and great boba We got the blended taro milktea so delish and lavender milk tea(I would recommend this to certain people with a certain palette personally it was not good but it was in their recommended so i'm sure others would like it better ) and the croffles loooveedd it so good

"Matcha Lemon Fizzy" is fizzy DELICIOUS. I enjoyed my mango cream croffle! This has SOOO many delightful choices and they are as tasty as their descriptions. Very easy to order on the screen inside with helpful descriptions.

After dinner one evening, my kids and I finally found time to try Straw & Bubbles. We came in around 7:30pm. Inside was bright, clean, and inviting. I instantly saw the donuts in the glass case. They looked so tempting! There were a couple of ordering kiosks as we went inside, ordering and paying will be done through the machine. It was fun to see the options and ordering on the kiosk. We customized our drinks by choosing the level of sweetness, additional items such as: tapioca, popping boba, jelly, etc. Our orders came out quickly and they looked so good. We each ordered different flavors of Milk Teas: the MILK TARO ICE, MILK TIGER SUGAR, and the STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE. We loved how the flavors and sweetness of each drink were spot on. We also tried the STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE DONUT. It was delicious! It was $4.50, but it was definitely big enough to share. I personally think it was worth the price. The friendly lady who helped us gave us a sample of the TIRAMISU DONUT. She told us that it was a new flavor and it was not on the menu yet. After trying both donuts, my kids and I agreed that we liked the Strawberry Cheesecake donut better. The Tiramisu donut lacked any of the tiramisu flavor. Although, the donut dough underneath the toppings was great. I will go back for sure. I would like to try the other flavors of the donuts, as well as their bubble teas and coffee specialties. I'm hoping that more people discover and help this business. It would be great to have a good bubble tea and donut place nearby. Good luck to you Straw & Bubbles!

Probably the best boba milk tea place in Glenview. We ordered the oolong milk tea and jasmine milk tea with boba and they were both excellent!!! The texture of the boba was perfect and the tea had excellent flavor. It's a small place but cute and esthetic. Highly recommend!!!

Freshest ingredients, great vibe, friendly employees. Absolutely loved our bubble tea and donut snack. We will be back! Only steps from the train, library, and yoga place!

Second time coming here and it's mediocre. Drinks are overly sweet and the waffle pastries are okay, probably better if you get it when they make them fresh instead of later in the day. The place looks better in pictures than in reality. They need to fix the tables and chairs. They have an automated ordering system where you are able to see all the drinks if you're new or if you're introverted, this is good. Service is okay. I think there are better boba shops that are worth the money, this just doesn't cut it.

This cute little shop made my day. Here visiting family we were walking home from the library and decided to stop in for a treat. The inside is small but very clean and bright. Ordering is done on the computers on the wall so there was little human interaction. The server did give some information about the donuts to help our decision making. We ordered 4 donuts and 3 drinks for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids to share. Listed best to worst. Donuts: tiramisu, caramel butter, unicorn, choc pretzel Drinks: Cloud + crystal boba (we'd skip the boba on this one as we didn't like the texture) Peach oolong + rainbow popping boba Lemon + rainbow boba (super sour) Overall, a fun and delicious stop!

The kids love bubble tea as much as ice cream so we seek out and drink a lot of bubble teas. This is the best one we've ever been to, by far, hands down. The owners are very kind. The strawberry dulce is my favorite.

I am always on the lookout for milk tea joints in the Chicago suburbs whenever I visit my mom. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba and lemonade for the kids. The jasmine milk tea had a strong tea taste, which I prefer, but it was still heavy on milk or half and half, (can't figure out what is in some milk teas) that leave a heavier feeling. The lemonade was too sour for the kids.

Tasty drinks, but a bit pricey. Cute presentation with the layers of colored liquids. One of the few places in the area that serves crystal boba. The first sips were super tart even though we shook them up before popping the straws. We either got used to it or the ice melted. Staff answered all our questions. Except why the 2 16 oz drinks came in different size cups despite being the same price.

We loved everything about this place! Such a cute and aesthetic atmosphere with a relaxing vibe. We got the strawberry cream blended drink, matcha yuzu peach tea with lychee jelly, and a strawberry cream cheese croffle plus an extra croffle on the house! Everything tasted so good - we will definitely be back!

Overpriced, poor quality food. Processed and fake food. They use $0.05 canned peaches. Not fresh or even frozen. They use cheap corn syrup on the waffles not real maple syrup. They use canned fruit in smoothies. Not real fruit. The tea is way too sweet and powdered. Not real tea. They really need to improve the quality and use Real Food. Use Fresh or at least Frozen fruit. Just buy frozen fruit in bulk, year round. Use Tea Bags not powder. Make it less sweet. This is the North Shore and your prices reflect that. People here know the difference between canned fruit, freeze dried fruit, and fresh or frozen fruit. I eat fresh peaches daily in season. Frozen off-season. The last time I ate canned peaches was elementary school cafeteria hot lunch. You can do better.

I cannot stop raging about how cute this little boba shop is! The outside and inside is decorated with the bright yellow color, with a simplicity but cozy feel to it. The boba was amazing! I got the taro milk tea and it was very smooth and creamy. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and plan to visit more often!

So glad to see another boba tea business in Glenview. The drinks are delicious with enough variety to fit the whole families taste buds. We got matcha tea, strawberry crepe, and peach Oolong! We'll definitely be back!!

Loved their bubble tea! I look forward to my visits to the suburbs because of Straw and Bubbles! The interior is bright and cheery, clean and uncluttered. The service was also exceptional! Everyone is friendly and customer service oriented.

The donuts are REALLY GOOD!!! I ordered online so I didn't experience the service but the food and drinks are amazing! Overall a great place to quickly get something for a long day

I've tried their Tiger Sugar Matcha and so far I'd say it's good quality without the hassle of driving through traffic to Chinatown. For the north suburbs, this is becoming my go-to spot. I plan to try their Taro drink next.

Pricing is good with the market right now. I came in because I was picking up food next door to it. It was pretty dead, I was the only customer in at the time around noon. Service was really nice, they engaged me in conversation while I waited for my order. Tried the Strawberry Dolce Latte, and it was really good. Croffles are really good. Size is small, but they don't charge much for it, so it's a good little dessert to grab. I'll probably be there again tomorrow just to grab that drink again! Forgot to take photos because I enjoyed it so much.

Really cute new place in Glenview! Stopped in to try Tiger Sugar Milk tea and some of their very creative donuts! Their staff was VERY friendly. They have online ordering or two digital kiosks just to the left of the entrance to place drink orders with pictures in case you don't know what anything is. Loved the decor inside and will definitely be back!

Love this place so much! We're regulars in the neighborhood and are so happy with the customer service from their friendly staff, as well as the delicious drinks! Highly recommend the lavender latte (iced or hot), blueberry donut, and rose matcha latte.

This place is pricey but is worth the extra $. We tried the blueberry and chocolate donuts, with a rose matcha latte and berry tea to drink. Everything tasted fresh and from quality ingredients. We appreciated that the staff were very kind, and checking out at the kiosk was easy.
