Welcome to the Jungle Bar | Eater Vegas

"A popular shipwreck‑themed, dog‑centric bar known for its cozy, chaotic vibe and tropical cocktails; the team describes it as a sunken‑ship concept where patrons can grab a tropical drink and embrace a playful, piratelike atmosphere. The spot set the tone for the neighboring lounge and operates on a limited weekly schedule, opening in the afternoons midweek through the weekend." - Ryan Slattery

The Best Bars in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"You don’t need to know the lore to enjoy a drink at Stray Pirate. But the imagined tale of a pirate ship cursed by a sea witch — its crew transformed into dogs and its vessel sunken to the sea floor — sure makes it a lot more fun. Portraits of distinguished pirate dogs hang on the shiplap walls, holes jutting from the sides give peeks to the ocean and the squids and sharks that lurk beyond. But none of the theatrics detract from the drinks. Traditional tiki drinks are well-executed, but owner and mixologist Chris “Tater” Gutierrez expands on the category, pouring excellent cocktails like the reposado, watermelon, and jalapeno-based Robbing the Gulf and the Hera the Dog with vodka, Svöl Aquavit gin, strawberries, rhubarb, and lemon." - Janna Karel

Best Las Vegas Bars and Restaurants for Stellar Non-Alcoholic Cocktails | Eater Vegas

"If you want to feel like you’re spending an evening inside a sunken pirate ship captained by dogs at the bottom of the ocean, the Arts District’s Stray Pirate sets the mood for an adventurous evening and masterfully crafted tropical cocktails, perfect for Downtown dilettantes and pup lovers. The walls and ceiling are adorned with ropes, lanterns, decorative glass floats and leis, and the handcrafted custom mugs and paw-printed tiki cups are as creative as the drinks themselves. The Virgin Voyage puts a spirit-free spin on traditional tiki drinks, with a Dry Tai, Jungle Blurred, and Captain’s Choice No-Jito that are just as garnished and aflame as their boozy counterparts. The Pain-Thriller, in particular, is perfectly light, sweet, and coconutty." - Emmy Kasten

A Curse Turned Pirates Into Dogs at This Shipwreck Bar Downtown - Eater Vegas

"Stray Pirate opened in October and features a bottom-of-the-ocean theme with tropical cocktails and an imaginative lore of cursed pirates turned into dogs. The bar offers both classic and signature cocktails, including unique ingredients like cardamom and lime kaffir. The interior design, created by Ben Bassham, includes detailed set pieces and portraits of dogs personified as pirates. Stray Pirate is positioned as a 'tropical bar with an escapist vibe' rather than a traditional tiki bar." - Ryan Slattery

LV locals here and my husband and I enjoy trying new restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Together we have over 40 years of insider experience in hospitality and food and beverage. That’s why we write these reviews, to share insider insights. The outside of the bar was cute with the cannon and pirate flag. I wish the sign was a little more visible. Walking inside from the bright daylight is a huge eye adjustment as it’s very dark inside. I couldn’t see for about five minutes. Once my eyes adjusted I could see all the decor and it reminded me of a set from Universal Studios. It was very detailed with vines hanging from the rafters to LCD screens of fish and ocean scenes. It made you feel like you were at Bikini Bottom in Sponge Bob Square Pants. The cocktail menu is extensive and I like that it rated the drinks with a scull and crossbones by the amount of alcohol in the drink. I am such a light weight this was greatly appreciated. I tried the Buck-o- Neer and the Swig & Berries and each was delicious. As far as the aesthetics inside - the high boy tables are of no use without stools. Add stools and allow people to sit and relax. No one wants to stand for hours. Plus it just looks awkward to have high boys without stools in a bar. The second suggestion for management is to add food to your menu! The kibble and popcorn, as tasty as they were, is not satisfying. It’s basically 3 tablespoons of trail mix. When people go to a bar, they expect the minimum of basic bar food - fries, pizza, hot pretzels and maybe a burger. This would make this place complete. If you have no capability of a full kitchen, partner with a food truck to create synergy. Either way, we will definitely come back again to visit and try more drinks.

We were there just recently over the 4th of July weekend. Loved this place from the minute we stepped in. The decor was fabulous, drinks were reasonably priced and very tasty. I will say though, the two bartenders that were there that afternoon were NOT friendly. We don’t expect somebody jumping up and down for a customer but a smile or even a few words would have been nice, especially since we did spend a good bit on merch to take home. Overall though, please go give this place your business. It’s so fun!

I love the ambiance of this bar. Drinks were delicious and service was great. The bartenders were really nice and gave us some amazing food recommendations in the area. I also bought these really cute glasses they have on sale. It is very dark, your eyes will need sometime to get used to it when you first come in.

Google
Very fun place with great atmosphere and an interesting theme. Pirates and dogs (see pix). The cocktails were fantastic, with your choice of all the classic tiki drinks. No food is available. We got there around 3pm and the place was pretty quiet, but two hours later people were pouring in. Highly recommended.

Stray Pirate is a swashbuckling good time, where the drinks are amazing, and the rum is never gone! When it comes to the pirate themed decor, they definitely went all out. Every detail has been thought of, from the menus and lighting all the way to the distressed wood used throughout the interior. Portholes on the walls show a view of the sea floor outside this sunken pirate ship, for your enjoyment as you sip expertly crafted beverages guaranteed to bring out your inner pirate! I recommend the "Miami Marauder" for my rum fans. Avast, matey! Board the Stray Pirate and slake your thirst for booze and adventure!

Google
The Stray Pirate is dark upon entering, like most Tiki Bars. Coming in from the Vegas sun takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust. Once they do, you are in for a treat. Modeled to look like you are in a sunken ship, it pulls off the asthetic well. The digital screens scattered about to make it look underwater are a great touch. The service was a bit slow, but the cocktails are worth the wait. Started off with the Stray Dog Grog and it was perfect. Rum heavy, fruity, and full of muddled blackberries. Had the Bark & Stormy next and the house brewed ginger beer is phenomenal. Finished off the visit with a pain killer and it was made perfectly. I always enjoy a good Tiki Bar and this was place was not an exception.

Stray Pirate is a one-of-a-kind whimsical immersive cocktail bar nestled in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District, and it’s an absolute gem. This isn’t your typical tiki bar. Instead, it blends tropical inspiration with a delightfully quirky pirate dog theme, offering a playful and unforgettable escape from the everyday. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported to the belly of a pirate ship, but not just any ship. This one is captained by canines. The décor is both charming and hilarious, featuring velvet paintings of the owner’s dogs dressed as pirates, underwater-themed digital displays, and whimsical nautical elements throughout. While there aren’t traditional tiki mugs or décor, fans of tropical bars won’t miss them, the personality here more than makes up for it. The space is well designed with a large bar on one side, spacious communal tables on the other, and cozy seating in between. At one end, you’ll find immersive booths that invite you into their own little world, and at the other, a fun photo op near the restrooms, perfect for capturing memories with your crew. The drink menu is small but mighty, with each cocktail thoughtfully crafted. Every drink we tried was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, and creatively presented. This is a spot where quality takes precedence over quantity, and it shows. Service was outstanding. The bartenders were not only skilled mixologists but also incredibly warm and welcoming, fun, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made the experience feel personal and engaging, like we were regulars from the first pour. The location in the Arts District makes it a perfect stop before or after dinner, or as part of a bar-hopping night through one of Vegas’ trendiest neighborhoods. Plus, there are plenty of cool shops and art spots nearby if you want to make a whole afternoon or evening out of it. Stray Pirate is a must visit for anyone who loves immersive spaces, quality cocktails, and a touch of humor in their night out. It’s creative, cozy, and full of character, a fantastic addition to the Las Vegas bar scene.

Fantastic drinks, good decor. Bartender Erica was incredible! She was super attentive even though they seemed understaffed and her drinks were killer. She also gave us great recommendations for food spots.

Yelp
Stray pirate is a fun dog pirate themed tiki bar. I was a little bummed their drinks didn't come in tiki glasses but the decor made up for it I loved the "portals" they had all around the bar to see life under water. The drinks were strong as time drinks should be.

Yelp
If you're seeking a unique tiki bar experience in Las Vegas, Stray Pirate is a must-visit destination. Located in the Arts District, this bar combines a dog and pirate theme, immersing guests in an underwater oasis that resembles the interior of a sunken pirate ship. The drink menu offers classic tiki cocktails like the Mai Tai and Zombie, as well as signature creations unique to Stray Pirate.

Yelp
I've got no bone to pick with Stray Pirate. On the last day of a recent Vegas trip, I stopped by this tiki bar with a large group of friends for a cocktail. Since it was early afternoon on a Monday, we had no trouble getting in or finding seats. Stray Pirate seems touristy, so I bet the place gets busy during other times. I only had one drink since we came from another bar and would be flying home soon, plus work the next day, but I made my one order count. I got the Zombie, which is rated as Stray Pirate's strongest drink. But like most tiki drinks, you can hardly taste the alcohol given the fruity mixers. I enjoyed my beverage although I am not one to order sweet drinks. I wouldn't consider Stray Pirate a dive bar given the drink prices and won't go out of my way to visit next time I am in town, but definitely worth dropping in if happen to be in the area.

Yelp
Beautiful execution of high end tiki theme In the Arts District. You will love the animation aquariums. They also carry great merch. When I went in November, I ordered some type of corn nuts popcorn, skip this popcorn. Our table ordered about 7 drinks. My fav was a mezcal tiki drink. This is located a busy street in the Arts District. A worthy immersive tiki bar.

Yelp
So glad we stumbled upon this bar! I'd highly recommend arriving early as it can get pretty busy, but don't worry if you don't. People are in and out so just make sure to be on the lookout for a spot to open up. The bartenders were friendly and quick. Even though it was so busy on a Saturday night, we never felt like we had to wait long to get a drink. The place & decor is so cute with an aquatic/submarine feel & look to it. The drinks were amazing! So many great options it's hard to pick. Like other tiki bars, they're rated on how strong they are! We will definitely be back to try more of their drinks!

Yelp
This place is so cool. While it may be oversold as a Pirate themed bar (and to be fair, my definition of a "theme bar" carries much higher standards than most), this is an absolute gem of a new addition to the downtown Vegas Arts District. I came here with some friends on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We were able to get a corner table fairly quickly. The menu has all the classics as well as some fun tropical cocktails with unusual ingredients and combinations. I normally don't do fancy pants drinks, but the server raved about their "Get It Kraken" cocktail so I ordered that (it is DELICIOUS). The drinks are large and strong, and fairly priced for Las Vegas: expect $15 - $18 per cocktail before tip. This isn't a touristy place and is more for locals, but visitors would absolutely be welcomed with open arms. They are open seven days a week from mid-afternoon until midnight, and they stay open until 1 am on Friday and Saturday nights! They try to bill themselves as a "dive bar," but it's really not. There's a fun pirate and salty dog theme that carries the nautical inspirations just far enough without crossing the line into desperate cheesiness. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed. This is a place to have fun, not one where you have to dress to impress. If you're bar hopping or want a unique place to grab a drink, I highly recommend Stray Pirate! Great staff, fun drinks, ridiculously enjoyable theme decor makes for a win-win-win!

Yelp
A must when in Vegas great bar made by Bamboo Ben with a great Tiki Vibe. I mean where do pirates have a drink. Craft Cocktails. Open a little over a year the 2 bartenders and waitress are good care of all. The moving underwater screens are fun to watch. #Tikitriathlon continues

Yelp
I'm torn about our experience at Stray Pirate. When you compare, the ambiance of the space is similar to Pagan Idol in San Francisco but leans towards the aged Smuggler's Cove in decor. For those who haven't been, Hale Pele in Portland is what you think a Vegas tiki bar will be. There's fire, fog machines, and tiki music that plays when your order is served. It's amazing and essentially the gold standard for what a tiki bar should be. But to start off with, Stray Pirate doesn't serve food. Most tiki bars don't have a full menu like Inside Passage or Tonga Room, but almost every bar will serve more than popcorn and nuts. I know one that does microwavable corndogs and I'm never mad at it. Second, I always love a good holiday spin like Navy Strength does in Seattle, but even though we visited right before Christmas, Stray Pirate didn't seem to have any specialty themed cocktails or holiday decorations. And third, when a bar leans towards the divey end (like Oakland's Kon-Tiki), the service, food, and cocktails are what shine through and make the experience. Our cocktails were okay but our waitress was having a rough day. She was trying her best but even in a mostly empty bar it was difficult to get her attention. At the end of the day, the honey adores tiki bars but Stray Pirate is simply a dive bar with tiki decor that has okay drinks and mediocre service. We don't plan to return and I wouldn't recommend it to tiki enthusiasts.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Downtown Las Vegas. Hubby is into tiki bars and he definitely found one meant for locals. The owners are so awesome and sometimes they are our bartenders. Drinks are well mixed, not so sweet and definitely tiki! We attended their first year anniversary and it was an awesome celebration! We got cute merch like a hoodie and celebratory pins. The decoration of this place honors dogs, so be prepared for cute puppy decorations!

Yelp
Went with family and had a great time. It's a good bar to start or end at if you're bar hopping since there's lots of bars nearby. Our server was nice. I ordered the Goonies never say die drink and I enjoyed it! Loved the pirates flag on top of it. They only had two bathrooms and it was pretty packed so I wish they had more bathrooms but I understand a lot of the downtown buildings are smaller so space is limited. Parking is hard as well since it's just mainly paid meter parking or paid parking lots. We got lucky though parking at a bar parking lot a few blocks away that had free parking.

Yelp
Back at the Arts District for the fourth time this year to check out more places that I haven't been to yet. Stray Pirate, a cocktail bar on Commerce Street, ended up being one of these places. Stray Pirate is very easy to find - just look for the pirate flag hanging above their building. There is a security guard at the entrance at all times, meaning that this place is strictly 21+ only, so be sure to have your ID ready when you get there. When you walk inside, it's like you've been transported inside of a ship or a submarine from the outside, which was totally awesome. They even have projection-like windows that also make it look like it's underwater. We took a seat at a booth and looked over their menu. Inside their menu, they have a wide range of cocktails that range how strong they are (one being the weakest, four being the strongest). Also inside on the very last page is the story/origin of where their name came from. I ordered a Mai Tai and my boyfriend ordered a Get Kraken. My Mai Tai came in a tall glass that included a little pink umbrella and two types of fruit. The Get Kraken came in a smaller, more unique glass that included a little pirate flag and three types of fruit. With these drinks, it was like being in paradise, but also the feeling of being underwater in a submarine. I liked my Mai Tai so much that I finished the entire thing! And we were just getting started here. If you're looking for a bar with some amazing, tasty cocktails and to have a great time, Stray Pirate is the place.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! Welcoming atmosphere and great service, even 30 minutes before closing time on a Sunday night. Staff was amazing, and as a result we had an amazing time. Of course, the drinks were good too... swig & berries, saturn, buck-o-neer. The saturn was definitely our fave, strong, fruity, just a delightful combination of flavors to put us in a good mood. The decor here is lovely too, with the feeling of being underwater in a pirate ship, apparently dog themed. Unique and amusing for sure.

Yelp
Dogs dressed as pirates and tiki drinks?! Yes please! It took a second to find my bearings and get on the right street but once I saw the big pirate flag in front I knew I was on track. It felt like finding a treasure in the Arts District...once inside the darkness, cool air and sunken ship vibe hit and you know you are in for a treat. It is open seating once you arrive so you can opt for the bar to your left or seats to your right, there are high tops (just tables) in the middle which let me know that this place gets busy! A group of four of us arrived around 530p on a Friday and we were able to grab a table but by the time we left a couple hours later it was packed! The menu is extensive, plenty of cocktail options with great descriptions and if you have time read the story behind the mystery of the dog pirates...whoever wrote that story has one heck of an imagination! If you are really into tiki drinks, when you taste these cocktails you don't get the taste you expect BUT they are still tasty and refreshing. My opinion is because they can get so busy and they have so many drinks on the menu they have to focus on quantity not quality, but I could be wrong so I'll definitely be back to try more drinks. The Goonies Never Die tasted like a Long Island, the Sarge's Old Fashioned was very spirit forward and the Mai tai had a lot of citrus. I had the Miami Marauder and that was delicious, it tasted like a strawberry daiquiri. The servers were all very attentive even as the place got full. We bought a souvenirs glass and it came with some eye patches and tattoos! The paintings on the walls, animated port holes, bathrooms and entire vibe of Stray Pirate is awesome and highly recommend you check it out if you find yourself at East Fremont. There are a few snacks on the menu but no real food so don't come hungry!

Yelp
Honestly go here! You don't want to miss this space! Truly my favorite place we went. The neighborhood is awesome. The staff was fantastic. The whole experience and vibes were what I wanted

Yelp
For a dive bar you won't get any better! Great theme! Doggie friendly. Outstanding service by Erica! Super creative cocktail menu and they have all the low cost brewskies too! Hang out, meet up with friends or check in for a prolonged stay! This bar is a SuperCool must stop in Vegas do be sure to bring all your tourist visitors!

Yelp
This has been a most meticulously built venue that looks like you are in the bowels of a pirate ship! Of course, the drinks are made with house made syrups and do pack a punch! The music choices, make it such a funfunfun place to enjoy. From Disney to classics, I felt my shoulders popping to the tunes. The 2 restrooms each have interesting artifacts and paintings to look at. I love the lantern fish, shark, red squid and rays that make their appearances in the port holes of the "ship". These fishes/creatures are really a site to see!

Yelp
Tiki bars are popping up everywhere in Las Vegas. This place is so good when it comes to decorations!!! The outside and inside!! The details!!! But they lack service! It takes a looooong time to get a drink. Whether busy or not it's always like that.

Yelp
My husband and i were driving around the arts district on a saturday and saw that this bar was open and we had to come in. The bar was so cool inside, you walk in and its like going into a pirate ship. The ambiance is so chill and fun themed. We stayed for a bit and had a few drinks, we did not have the food but everything looked really good. The staff was great and very friendly, this is definitely a great bar to tak e people to while they are visiting.

Yelp
I recently visited Stray Pirate with my husband, and we had a fantastic experience! I tried the Saturn cocktail, which was both refreshing and delicious, and beautifully presented. My husband went for a smoky mezcal cocktail, and he loved it. The ambiance is incredible--the decor is so detailed, with quirky dog pirate portraits in frames that add a fun touch. The staff was attentive, polite, and quick, which made the experience even better. Every little detail in the decor shows how much care was put into creating this unique vibe. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The arts district is probably our favorite low key local areas we frequent. We decided to do a speakeasy crawl on this random Thursday. The stray pirate has been on our list, and for good reason. The front is very unassuming but walking in you're thrust into a pirate ship with moss , leaves and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The decor excellent with portholes to enhance the vibe. Drinks are strong and well made, the menu is run heavy but hey it's pirate themed... staff are friendly and quick, it's open seating so I imagine if it's busy you'd need to keep an eye for an open spot. 10/10 recommend for a refreshing strong cocktail.
google avatar

Yelp
Just happened to be in the area on a Sunday afternoon and stumbled across this place. Place was full, drink selection was awesome, and just a great watering hole overall. Staff help incredible, and just a fun, dark, pirate/nautical themed bar perfect for some Sunday day drinking.

Yelp
Currently here sipping on my Zombie cocktail. It's my second time here. The Stray Pirate opened in Oct and I highly recommend coming here to check it out. The ambience is spot on. It reminds me of stopping and having a drink inside the Pirates of Caribbean ride. The cocktails are solid and the staff is nice. Yea, there are other tiki bars in the area, but definitely check out the Stray Pirate, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
They did not serve food. However their drinks were absolutely delicious and a great price. Our server was super funny and took great care of us ! It was so cute in there all the decorations were so Instagram worthy.

Yelp
My Uber driver and myself were both a little skeptical at first, being dropped off at the corner down the street on a cold night it was a little dubious there'd be a killer tiki bar a few doors down. Thankfully the cannon balls on the sidewalk reassuringly lured me in. Definitely has Trader Sam's vibes, minus the Dole Whip but with far more room and fun animated screen backdrops. Nice cocktails, nice ambience and cheerful bar staff (though they won't squirt you w water... unless you ask ) #iykyk

Yelp
Kick ass Tiki Bar. AMAZING Atmosphere. Fantastic drinks. May be the best Tiki I've been to. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First time visiting off the strip and this place is a GEM. The two bartenders Bria and Erica made the most delicious drinks. I had the Saturn and my friend got the Mai Tai definitely recommend both. The music was cool and on theme and the vibes were extraordinary. Give this place a visit!!!!

Yelp
This was the coolest tiki bar I've ever been to! The service was so friendly! They greeted us as we walked in. They were very attentive and patient with us. They had a rush happen right as we came in, which delayed our drink orders but we didn't care as we enjoyed being there. Our server kept letting us know where we were in terms of drink order, which we very much appreciated. The coolest thing about this place is the dogs everywhere! We found out the dogs were real and belonged to the owners of the bar. Our servers told us all their names, but only one I can remember was the one I liked: Archie. The whole place is made to feel like you are in the galley of a ship. It's such a neat and welcoming atmosphere. There is no food served here; just drinks. All the drinks have playful pirate themed names. I really liked they had a zero sugar selection! They also put a paw & crossbones to show how intense the alcohol level is. One warning is this is not a really good part of town, but if you have your head on a swivel, you'll be fine. Just be aware of your surroundings. I don't hold that against the business at all! They are new kids on the block and they are truly rocking it out!!!

Yelp
This is the coolest scene! Such great vibes and interesting cocktails. Try the banana snackeri!! Cheers!!

Yelp
Service; incredible Cocktails; tasty af. Ambiance; love it! My only challenge is that they really need to reconsider their cocktails. I read a review that someone wrote or barely had any liquid (not just alcohol) & that it was all ice. I didn't agree with this comment until I saw it with my own eyes (see picture attached). It was slightly disappointing considering there isn't any food on the menu & there weren't a whole lot of options regarding drinks. It was a fun experience. I don't think you really have to stick around longer than 30 mins to get the full effect.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a new tiki bar in the art district area. I loved the decor of this place so cool and the dog story and paintings are lovely. The service was pretty nice and easy going. The drinks are a little too strong for my taste but that's just me and I like the fact that they have like pop- corn or nuts if you want them to accompany the drinking.
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
The newest tiki bar has arrived to Vegas and it's located in the arts district. Honestly it's about time we got another solid option. The inside is very well themed with pirate tiki lore, my favorite being the digital underwater screens. The drinks are a wee bit pricey as expected but they definitely pack a punch. I had one & could certainly feel the warmth in my belly. Overall an awesome spot to visit, it does get extremely busy & isn't very big inside so I recommend going during non-peak times. Only downside of going during day light hours is the bright light shining throughout the bar every time the door is opened.

Yelp
Fun little tiki bar about a mile from Fremont street. Dim lighting, pirate themed and great service.

Yelp
Great ambiance, drinks and staff. Very lively on a Saturday afternoon. Plan ahead to park while construction is happening on Commerce Street. The four of us each ordered something different and we were all very happy. We'll be back!

Yelp
Hot diggity dog! Literally. I happened to see this bar because it was something different on Google maps I had never seen before. I was intrigued because I love tiki and my husband is a sucker for pirates and puppies. I'm sooooo glad I did though because this bar can rival the popular tiki spots in the city for sure. As a matter of fact, we weren't even done with our first drink and my husband leans over and says, "We can come back here any time." Score, 1, for Christina! Walking in on a Thursday night, there were a few tables occupied and most of the bar. We decided to sit on the end of the bar, in front of one of the bartenders. It was also the servers station area so we were able to talk with them before the hustle started. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to really like working here and cared a lot about our experience. The bartender had a lot of flair and really made a show out of preparing the cocktails. The ambiance is great. The digital screens were perfect for the sunken ship vibe and I really appreciated this touch. I loved all of the paintings and fun stuff hidden around the place. The menu is on the smaller side but it's a full bar so you can pretty much order whatever you want. The specialty cocktails we did order were amazing. House made syrups and crafted garnishes really make up the wow factor. The navy strength alcohol also made everything just a little more yummy as well. LOL! The bartender did make a comment that made me a bit sad. A large group of Santas came in and of course, a rush started. Luckily or not, however you want to look at it, he made a comment that he hopes they stay a tiki bar obsessed with quality because it is Vegas and people come in with their vodka sodas, rum and cokes and Jack Daniels old fashioneds and don't seem to care about the specialty cocktails. If you're into tiki and amazing cocktails, this is the place to be.

Yelp
Stray dogs turned pirates? You need to come Check this place out. Porthole windows make you feel like you just stepped below deck, complete with fish swimming by. Their menu is small but features several classic tiki drinks. I'm pretty sure we had the million doubloons and the swig and berries ( it was first Friday and I was pretty toasted ). Drinks were delicious and the service was super fast even though they were packed.

Yelp
What a fun new bar in Vegas! I'm such a fan of the arts district, and I love that they have something for everyone. We had time to kill and I've seen this bar ok TikTok, so we gave it a try. It's off main Street, so you have to be ok walking a bit, but the bar has great atmosphere and great decor, as well as a solid cocktail menu. I had their espresso martini variant, and it was phenomenal. Our bartender was sweet and helpful and gave us great recommendations. Absolutely a great new bar to check out, and the best part is that it's dedicated to the owner's dogs!

Yelp
Great drinks and vibes, I know it's a bar but wished they had some food options so I could keep the drinks flowing.

Yelp
We stopped by right at their opening time on a Saturday afternoon- we stepped out of 100+ heat and bright sun and into another world. Cool, dark, with an otherworldly (underwater!) atmosphere. We were immediately greeted with ice water and took our time perusing their menu of tiki drinks. They include a fun story of the history behind their name/theme- you will never look at a stray dog with the same eyes again. ;) There are fun nautical touches throughout, and the drinks are not just delicious but reasonably priced for the size as well. We have definitely found a new favorite in The Arts District.

Yelp
It took us three tries to find it open but it was worth the effort. Delicious drinks but they were heavy on the ice. I was very excited to have fabulous not alcoholic options, which not all tiki bars offer. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. The place was packed but the drinks still came quickly. All the guests in the bar were really happy...a sign of good drinks?!! The decor is fun... gotta love a velvet dog painted.

Yelp
Pirate/dog themed bar. Interesting concept. Appreciated the video fish tanks behind the bar, and all over. Very busy when we went, so could tell the two bartenders were having a hard time keeping up. The drinks were decent, but for $15 each I was expecting better TBH.

Yelp
Cute! Cute little tiki bar. Stopped in to have a drink while we waited for our table to be ready for brunch next door. Drinks were delicious! Restroom was spotless! Valerie was awesome! We'll be back!!

Yelp
Went here on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. I heard good things about this place from friends, so we went mid day shortly after opening to avoid the crowds. So be warned, there's only street parking and even then it is metered. Upon entering the bar, we were quickly greeted and we sat down at a table. The waiter came down with two waters right away while we looked over the menus. I ordered the "Get it Kraken," while my bf ordered the "Swig and Berries." We both liked the Get it Kraken the best out of the two. Drinks were decent, but not very strong. We chose these because they were rated a 2 in strength based on the menu. The environment was really cool at first. The lighting, animated monitors, and props really make this place. It really does look like the inside of a pirate ship! I have to knock down a couple of stars because the ambiance did get awkward. Between the quietness and lack of music and the monitors constantly going out and losing signal, it was a real mood killer for us. After one drink, we decided to go to another bar since there's so many options around.

Yelp
After seeing a post on social media about this place, we had to try it! From the moment we opened the door we were blown away by the uniqueness, decor and great service! As a fellow bartender I was impressed. Nikki served us some killer cocktails with garnishes on point! Definitely will be returning soon..

Yelp
5 big stars for ambiance. This place has the best art ever... dogs dressed s as pirates and doing pirate things. Perfection. The drinks were good and strong. Not toooo expensive. Bartenders are friendly. All in all, I had a great time hanging here.

Yelp
I love a good tiki bar. Stray Pirate just recently opened when I was in town, so we decided to make this our tailgate destination before our concert. I don't remember the drinks we ordered but they all were inventive and delicious. The staff is readily available to help you make an informed decision. The ambiance was very cool.My only complaint is they don't have Happy Hour or food. I still prefer Golden Tiki, but this place is a solid option.

Yelp
This place was so cool! It is super dark inside, but the decor was amazing along with the drinks. I had the Buck O Neer and Robbin the Gulf drinks and enjoyed both of them. We had a large party and the waitress was very attentive to us.
