Such delicious food. It’s a great combination of a high end cafe with Israeli style and very modern design. The food is super delicious there. You can’t go wrong with any of the foods. There pizza is outstanding, there nachos are huge. They have this dish called Risotto Mushroom and Branzino Fish and it was so delicious, it was my wife’s favorite. Try out their toast salad also. #1 kosher dairy spot in Los Angeles.

The ambiance is cute and it's nice they have a patio to accommodate patrons during Covid but the service is questionable at best. We arrived to an empty ordering area and were left very confused. We were waiting for some direction but the guy behind the counter was scrambling around and took a look and said they'd clean a table to have ready for us. We stood around for about 10 minutes watching as the workers walked around, ineffectively cleaning tables (spraying a dirty table with trash on it then spreading it around), bringing drinks and food out and such. Another couple walked in and the guy at the counter now was ready to take our order but said those people that just arrived might take our table which was very confusing. I told my fiancé to quickly grab a table while I ordered and we sat down to a sticky table. We waited for our order which was just two coffees and a dessert and it took around 20 minutes. I saw our coffees had finally been made but were sitting on the counter not brought to us so I just got up and took them to our table myself. Did the same thing for the dessert which they had to "prepare" which was just some Carmel decoration on plate with the cheesecake. I brought that to our table as well. The staff was confused that I did that but I don't really like warm coffee and if it came to our table that was I would've been really upset. There's also plenty of people smoking in the driveway which easily comes into your food / table area and not really pleasant. I wouldn't come back here, even though they stay open later than most places right now.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Not only were we greeted with good vibes feeling welcomed, our waiter took the time to go through a lot of their dishes that we couldn't choose from. So we ordered 3 entrées and 6 drinks. All delicious<3 I fell in love with the orange-Nana & chicken mushroom and onion hummus. My waiters name was Daniel<3 AWESOME SERVICE from arrival! I highly recommend you try this place atleast once.. night time is the best.Thank you so much!<3 My new obsession!🤤

I like this place! Went in the evening and there was no wait, place was clean and relatively quiet. Waitress was friendly and pleasant. Most importantly they had a cappuccino in a bowl! The way to my heart; it was delicious with a sprinkle of sugar. I also ordered The Waffle which was delicious, ate it all up. Will definitely try to go back.

The quality of food here is amazing. I usually order either pizza or toasts here. The taste of pizza and toast is very different than any other places. They just started to provide sushi. Their sushi is not the best but you can tell that is fresh. Most of my friends like their sushi maybe its just me didnt like the taste. Ordered many many times with post mates and door dash and they are amazing in delivery stuff. Very fast and good quality food. Thanks

I waited so much for the desert. Almost compained but they gave us birthday event at the end. Nice staffs. Deserts are preferable than foods.

They were doing amazing but little by little I think they are decreasing the food quality. No doubt that they were one of the best in town but last 2 times I have order online, the quality was not as good. I have ordered Tuna Melt today which was one of their best but they toast came with egg inside and the bread was different than before. it was completely something different than tuna melt that they were providing before.

Came in on a Sunday morning with the husband son and friends. Ordered the avocado egg rolls and the parsley salad to start with. Both were amazing. I had the mushroom Halumi salad, everything was fresh, spiced perfectly and overall delicious. Had soy latte, great coffee. My son had pasta with tomato creamy sauce which he was very happy about. Sat outside, service was great and quick, we were seated quickly and it's stroller friendly. Definitely recommend!!!

A small modern cafe restaurant with food to match it's warm service and energy. Slightly hidden on Ventura Blvd between Lindley Ave and Newcastle Avenue left of Starbucks (if heading westbound) and BevMo. Specializing in kosher cuisine with a variety of delights including appetizers, bagels, desserts, hummus/dips, Shakshuka, sandwiches, salads, toasts and wraps. It's Middle Eastern food with some modern street flare and flavor. Great for dine-in, but just as delish for takeout/delivery bliss! The have many vegetarian options and a surprising amount of vegan options as well. The vegan Shakshuka is a must! Mushroom, Jalapeno and/or traditional hummus with pita or their quality falafel are all so savory good. I have notice the menu seems to update and or vary from online to in-person with some additional things - I recently had the street cafe salad (big portion) with Mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, pecans, carrots, sweet potatoes, balsamic and sliced fruit that was quite enjoyable. The do serve wine in-person along with a variety of beverages plus have a kids menu. Haven't been disappointed once here! The prices are a little on the higher side, but you're definitely getting great portions, food made with care and people who enjoy providing excellent service. They're open late on Saturday until 1am (until 11PM most of the rest of the week), have great indoor or outdoor seating and a wide parking lot. Definitely a great place for lunch, dinner or late nite in the city of Encino.

I'm the past month, I've made plans to eat at the Street Cafe by Aroma. I tried calling the number on their website to get a recording with no helpful information. I had heard that it was closed for renovation months ago. Driving past a few days ago, windows were boarded up and no construction appeared underway. A notice to customers via social media with the current status would be beneficial. When it was open, the food was delicious, the service good, and the ambiance pleasant. Street Cafe, you are missed!

Closed for remodeling! AGAIN!!! When it's open, it's good food but how many times do they need to close

I haven't been here in FOREVER but we decided to try it out one day after playing some tennis. I remember coming here on late nights and drinking their hot mint teas and ordering desserts. Long gone are those days as they now have a FULL menu! This is a dairy and fish kosher restaurant with a true Israeli feel, from the customers to the food and the employees. Great experience all around. We of course got the classic Shakashuka which was great and came with a side of bread other goodies. I ordered the halloumi melt and we ordered a ziba for the table. I would eat that ziba all day everyday if I could. That was probably one of the best mozzarella bourekas I've ever had in my life and the tomatoe paste and pickles and egg that came with it was just *chefs kiss*. We also ordered some coffee which was surprisingly tasty (not just hot bean water) and I got an iced chai latte which really hit the spot. Not too sweet and not too spicy. I am excited to come back and try their wraps and even their sushi!

Rating purely on a single experience with drinks only on a Sunday afternoon at about 3:30pm. Our plan was to chat (like Starbucks) with a long time friend. Iced coffees that was all. Dreadful experience- the music was pumped out so loud that you could barely hear yourself think let alone talk. Then every time the metal tables and chairs were dragged across the stone floor (by staff, patrons and OMG 4 badly behaved kids) was headache inducing! Could not wait to get out. Why 3 stars? Being generous because I have no clue about their food, perhaps some people like intolerably loud music - but would I go back? No!!!

The place with the best costumer service ever, great food (very Israeli style), the patio is nice and warm. Food taste and very fresh, you can tell it's baked / made on the spot. Beautiful friendly service And there is always something to eat for the entire family, pizza and pasta for kids, and variety things for everyone. My #1 choice.

Great customer service, and a very exotic menu. They have a parking lot in the back which you can park for free. I recommend this place for a brunch and dinner. They have a variety of hot and cold drinks. My favorite appetizer is the avocado rolls there. Portions are pretty big and reasonably priced.

I had fettuccini alfredo delivered tonight because I was craving some pasta. The alfredo sauce was rich, creamy and delicious. The noodles were thick and were perfectly cooked. I added an extra bit of sea salt for flavor, but overall it was really tasty and a great option for Italian cuisine. I had not tried this restaurant before but I will order from them again. The menu has a lot of different options, including sushi.

I love to eat at the place! They have Israeli food and everything kosher . They have a large variety of food to choose from. Price wise is a little bit expensive but the food taste so good that it's worth it. It's beautiful to sit outside it's on Ventura Boulevard. Parking is a little bit harder I'll be looking for something different that taste good I would recommend to go to this place

This spot is open for indoor and outdoor dining. Went in for a late lunch and it is a Good thing because we beat the party of 24 pax. We ordered Crusted Salmon Salad and Greek Pizza. The salad tasted fresh and the salmon is tasty. Greek pizza is mouthwatering. I would order it again. I would definitely come back here and I recommend this place.

Food has gone downhill a lot. Place is really junky. Careful parking there. Parking lot has homeless people literally living in it. Notified manager, they didn't care

I don't know what happened to this place but it has gone sooooo down the hill no more yummy sides !!! Like every thing else prices has gone up and the quality has gone down. Bye bye bering back the sides and the yummy food back. The owner was sitting next to us like she didn't care to

I came here with my girl friends for lunch. We ordered some appetizers, lunch and dessert. The food came out quickly, and really fresh with lots of flavor. The atmosphere was very modern, and we sat outside in the patio. Our waiter was super nice, and attentive.

Huge portions and delicious, fun food. I brought my kids and they absolutely loved the fries and milkshakes. The service was excellent and the restaurant was comfortable and clean. Will definitely return.

One of my go to places. The best for either a cup of coffee or a full meal! Their menu has endless options from pizza to sushi! We almost always get a Greek pizza. It has to be one of the best in the valley!

I love this spot! They have a variety of different options to satisfy your hunger needs. The kanafi malabi ricotta is a must have as the flavor will keep your taste buds bursting. .any of their coffee or hot chocolate will pair well with any of their items. Service is great as Sasha and Jesse will make sure your needs are met. Parking is on Ventura blvd or adjacent street.

The worst customer service , Feel like the employees doing you a favor, all the time they are missing something. And the pick up service it's so trouble, putting you on hold and they never answering . We will never order from them again . They need so much improvement

Salmoniki!!!!!!!!! That's all you need to know! LOL okay if you want a little bit more, here goes. I first discovered this place at a party. The catering was so incredible that I asked the host where the food came from and he said it was a place called Street Cafe. So the next week I was there!!! It was 9:30pm and most places were closed already so cheers to Street Cafe for staying open late!! My boyfriend and I both got the mint tea and they actually use real mint! We also shared the avocado egg rolls, yummy! BUT the Salmoniki is where it's at!! It's kinda like Salmon fajitas in a red sauce. Whatever it is it's freakin phenomenal!!!! And it's enough for 2 people. The staff was also super sweet. It's definitely more of a European vibe where they let you hang out for as long as you want and don't just throw the check down as soon as you finish eating, which we loved. Just writing this review is making me crave Salmoniki again See you again soon Street Cafe!

Decided to give this place a try for a late night outing with my family! The service was quite terrible... my husband ordered bottled mineral wanted and it was never brought out to our table , but it sure ended up on the bill ! However , the food was pretty good... I only had tea (mint ) but my kids really liked the avocado rolls , Cesar salad , and the chocolate lava soufflé! I really enjoyed the outdoor/patio seating !

The food is good. The service is OK. Parking is Good. However, there needs to be more cleanliness. Tables are not clean. The menus are not clean. Hopefully they address these issues which are very simple to fix.

This review is not for the waiters and staff as they were super accommodating and worked their butts off helping us. This is for the owners/managers. The place is incredibly understaffed and unorganized. I posted a picture of the cups that should never be at a restaurant like this, I was in shock about the cups. Food was good though and super happy about the waiters working hard.

#Datenight Tonight I had my first Omakase experience, at Street Café by Aroma. They are known for their dairy and Israeli style dishes as well as fresh baked dairy pastries, but not many know about their star sushi chef. I can safely say that this is the finest sushi I've had to date. When you do an Omakase you are literally saying "it's up to you", and rather than ordering off the menu you are putting yourself in the hands of the sushi chef. It's dinner and a show as you get to watch his skilled hands preparing the dishes. First course was nigiri, with red, and black snapper, both of which were beautiful and translucent, salmon belly, and what for me was the star of the dish, coarsely chopped yellowtail belly! Yuzu, which is a Japanese citrus, was freshly squeezed over it, giving it a unique tang that cut through the fatty belly meat. We then had some delicious halibut-asparagus tempura before the next nigiri plate. Course three was a really interesting halibut which had a wrapping of seared halibut fin (what a delicious bite) , Shima Aji, and two types of tuna; bluefin and chutoro, which was the star of this dish. Incredible! Next was a light bite of salmon carpaccio with a truffle balsamic oil. Just enough flavor not to overpower the salmon. A very unique dish, or at least one I haven't seen anywhere before, was a tuna avocado ball.This wasn't a tempura or anything , just fresh tuna wrapped inside of fresh avocado. The whole thing somehow worked really well. This was served on an oba leaf, which is a unique Japanese green. Something special! It was really entertaining watching the sushi chef do his thing with the banana leaf as he formed the vessel for the ceviche. Tastes as good and fresh as it looks in the pic. The last bite was black cod nigiri. This has a silky, rich texture , different then the buttery chutoro and it's an incredible bite which you have to try for yourself. For dessert we had the yummiest fruit tart. Keep in mind the pastries here are made with real milk and heavy cream. The tart itself was great, and loaded with freshly made custard and seasonal fruits. Dynamite! It's not always available, but tonight they had cannolis. Wow! The crisp on that shell and vanilla cream in particular was spectacular! Bottom line, in addition to all the other specialties if you're looking for truly quality sushi in the LA area, you want Street Cafe by Aroma. I suggest you call ahead to reserve an Omakase experience. Something special!

Update: I love the panini crouton salad and the apple pie dessert! Great food, great ambience but don't go in a rush because service could take some time. Would definitely recommend and go again. Love the diverse menu.

Wow what a treat. The food here is delicious. The portions sizes are nice. Just look at the enormous nachos. The workers seem pleasant enough. Its basically a nice European outdoor cafe like you would find in any city in Europe just scaled up for "Valley people"

Love dining here as their menu is MASSIVE and filled with so many options - I think even more than a Cheesecake Factory - at least it sure seems. My absolute favorite here is the Ahi Tuna Schwarma Wrap which is delicious. Ahi Tuna prepared with authentic flavors and wrapped in a thin laffa or tortilla filled with humus, onion. pickles and parsley - IT'S SO GOOD! Order it with a LIMONANA drink and you'll have a tasty meal. They have variations of this sandwich and other wraps and lots of other wonderful dishes that I've tried in the past. The food comes fast and the flavors are mighty. Seating outside under covering and heaters or inside. Try their fresh baked goods as well and trust me, you won't go wrong. My main issue here is keeping control of what I order as everything I've had here is so darn good. Plenty of parking available in the back or along the front on the street.

Yes the service is horrible overall and they never answer the phone (like ever) to order for pickup... BUT they do have excellent food. Their Sandwiches are amazing especially the Ahi Tuna Shawerma.

They still don't have indoor seating and seating was outdoor. They have the tent up but it was zipped on one side creating minimal ventilation. It was scorching hot and sitting out there was not pleasant. The service was slow. Ordering, getting our food out, check ect took longer than usual. Won't be coming back.

The food is good but the service was horrible. The Tunisian was delicious I can't lie. The chocolate soufflé was maybe the best tasting sweet I have ordered. The service was terrible the food was late. Our table didn't even get cleaned. Could potentially become best tasting restaurant in LA however they have no customer service or organization.

We came here to celebrate my friends engagement party, and the food and service was incredible! Daniel, our server was so kind and patient with us and worked with all of us to make sure we were all pleased and happy. Thank you so much Daniel for making this night so special for us!!

Let's start by the positivity! The servers were Amazing! From the greeting to the customer service. Amazing! Unfortunately the cooks need help. I'm a Chef and ordered a seared tuna wrap instead of seared. Looked like it was a few days old and not fresh AT ALL!. They should put old over cooked jerky tuna. I'll give it another chance, but ruined my whole meal.

We came here for the very first time, and I must say that it's a very nice and cozy restaurant. The only bad thing was the valet parking guy. He was rude and and very unprofessional. But we got over it when the desserts and coffee came. Our server was pleasant and super friendly. It was my nephews birthday and she came out with a delicious cheesecake and a candle. Even though we only had coffee and cake I saw the food they were serving to other customers and I'm definitely coming back.

My wife and I had been here several years ago and did not find it so appealing that we had come back until now. We decided to go here tonight because they said that they had coffee and desserts. However, we were seated and given a menu which showed some desserts, most of which were covered by blue tape. In fact, they had only three different desserts, that's it. We left and won't likely be back anytime soon.

I was honestly shocked at this place of how tasteful the food. We ordered some Arabic breakfast as HUmus falfael and shakshoka (eggs) it had Alof of Flavour in it and spices that you can't stop eating !!! The price of it is very reasonable and it is worth it to go if you like Arabic good

This review is long over due. Before the lockdown we were weekly regulars at street Cafe. We would come here for sushi on Tuesdays and have the best time ever. They have a great menu and surprisingly great kosher sushi. They play music in the background and the over all vibe and ambiance is really nice, we sit by the fire pit and absolutely love it. Daniel is our usual server who always takes such good care of us! He always greets us with a big smile and is very attentive and accommodating. All the waiters there are great as well honestly. Looking forward to restrictions being lifted so we can go back! BTW appetizers are HUGE!

That was nice sitting there with a friend and have a good conversation while sipping coffee and enjoying dinner. Staff are friendly here and I would like to thank Sonia, she was super nice, helpful and supportive specially if you are new here and have no idea about their menus. This place is a lot different from a few years ago, not as nice. We actually thought the place was closed when we drove by. On a Sunday just before noon the place was almost empty, the menu we received was dirty and ambiance was minimal. We stayed because we were meeting another couple. Good move. The food was plentiful, presented nicely and tasted wonderful. The coffee was excellent. Service was good too. We had the Avocado toast, Italian omelet and falafel and all were tasty. By 1pm the place was very busy. Vegan only.

This place is INCREDIBLE! I have no idea what any of the negative reviews are doing on here. It's probably either friends of the competition or people that are salty over the original restaurant closing. This is easily some of the best food I have had all year. As soon as my friend and I walked in we were greeted by a lovely young woman that asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We opted for inside due to it being a little hot. Our waiter was super cool. This is Israeli/ kosher food. Do NOT let that scare you off. If anything, it tastes even better then regular food. In addition to being a restaurant, they are also a bakery. This is evident in the fresh bread with home made jelly and olive oil spread they brought out before the meal. My only complaint is that this stuff is too good and I kind of filled up early on it. This place is deceptively well priced, so don't order too much thinking that because the prices are low, the portions will be small. This is NOT the case. The Italian sampler is a feast of delicious things. A giant platter filled with fried cheese, marinated red peppers, perfect olives, stuffed grape leaves, and juicy tomatoes atop a bed of roasted eggplant with fresh mozzarella and pesto. It didn't end there. Serve this with a round of some of the best thin-garlic-pita-bread you will ever have. It's insane. Next came the ahi tuna hummus. Oh....My....God.... hummus has no business tasting this good. It was ahi tuna seasoned to perfection and cooked in such a way that made it almost taste like tender and juicy chicken. The giant portion of tuna was sitting in a pile atop caramelized onions and oil within the hummus. Too many flavors to even describe. The salmon and angel hair pasta was something really special. I love a good cream sauce pasta - but this one was next level. Mixed in with capers and other seasonings, there was just the right amount of salt to off set the rich and creamy base. All the fish being cooked in that kitchen is remarkable. The Brisini on creamy rice was a show stopper. Light, flakey, buttery fish atop a delectable bed of rice and mushrooms in a cream sauce. I was completely stuffed by the time this dish arrived but could not stop myself from eating bites of it until my eyes crossed. It was my mouth's ego VS my brain's logic. My mouth won this battle haha I can't wait to come back here. I don't live close but went out of my way to come try this place because the old Aroma that this restaurant replaced use to be one of my favorite restaurants in college and I still frequent their remaining location on Sunset. This place is still "by Aroma" but it is waaay better then Aroma. Both the old location it replaced in this location and the one still kicking' on Sunset. The dishes are updated and more fresh, the chef is a total rock star, and the menu has been narrowed down to the best dishes. A few of the classics with little twists, and some new ones that are sure to take your taste buds for a ride that they won't soon forget. Don't miss this place.

Been here 3 times since they opened back up.. keeps getting better! Great service, quick and friendly. The food is amazing, hot mushroom salad and the crazy nachos are highly recommended.

The food is extremely overpriced, and the portions are relatively small as well. The service isn't that good and some of the waiters have been a little rude at times too.
