Street Cheese

We came in here at the recommendation of a friend and she did us a true service - this place is fantastic!! We just wanted to buy a couple of cheeses, but ended up trying 7 or 8 different cheeses and walking out with 4 different cuts, each one distinct and delicious. The proprietor was very kind and knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted me to find what I liked the best. They also have nuts, crackers, honeys, jams, pastes, meats, and more (I want some of that Buffalo burrata!), but we only have space in our luggage for some hard cheeses. But they sent us home with an insulated bag and the offer of an ice pack (we declined), so im confident we'll make it home with our treasures. We'll be back next time we're in Seattle!

Whenever I travel, I make it a point to visit a local cheese shop. I can honestly say this is one of the best shops I've been too. The selection of cheeses is fantastic with extremely reasonable prices. The staff is very knowledge and helpful. I ordered a cheese box (a good diverse selection of cheeses), as well as some cheese wedges (especially liked the Shadow Blossom).

Ordered a large sampler box for NYE and I am not being hyperbolic when I say this was the best cheese assortment I’ve ever had, and this includes one at a 2 Michelin star restaurant. The curation was obvious as we worked our way around the box and each cheese was better than the last. Loved all of the 8 varieties included. Unique flavors, with just the right amount of funk. Absolutely will be shopping here again and I can’t recommend it highly enough - 15/10 experience and an incredible value for what’s received!

We made a field trip on light rail to Beacon Hill today specifically to check out this cheese shop. WOW. Courtney and Tailor were amazing. We were just after two small pieces of cheese to snack on later. Didn't matter at all. They helped us pick out three (yes, we got an extra one!) different cheeses from various countries and made with different kinds of milk. Easily the best cheese we've ever eaten. Can't wait to go back sometime and get more!

Outstanding cheese and sliced cured meats buying experience in every way. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is a one-stop shop for delectable cheeses of many types and stankiness.

A beautifully welcoming store, with friendly and knowledgeable people. Wonderful selection of all the yummy things for a quiet get together or larger festivities. You must stop in and gather your goodies.

They where very helpful picking out my cheese also knew alot of information about the diffrent cheeses. Really kind lady's and very helpful to find the best cheese for me . Thank you lady's again.
