These folks recently catered a party I had for 70 people and not only did it go incredibly smoothly, and not only was the food bonkers delicious, but they were more affordable than every other place I looked at (and this is including the fee for driving from ABQ to Santa Fe). They were a pleasure to deal with as well, very communicative and on it. I'm so thrilled I found them and will absolutely use them again. (Also, the red chili rubbed ribs are so freaking good - I can't recommend them enough!)

I cannot stress how seamless and incredible our experience was with SFI catering for our wedding. We planned our New Mexico destination and wanted the food to reflect our love of NM. SFI came through with an amazing 3 day menu that reflected just that. Our welcome event had a delicious frito pie bar, wedding morning bagels and fruit, wedding dinner filet mignon and achiote chicken (my favorite), a pomme purée that everyone keeps raving about, and brunch with a New Mexican themed Benedict bar with freshly smoked salmon. Such a dream! Our guests continue to rave about how delicious the food was. The food was so fresh, locally sourced, and made with such care. The staff was incredible and as the bride, I had nothing to worry about. My husband and I are huge foodies, and my father is a chef, so we are very picky about the quality of foods and creativity in menus. SFI reflected our deep love for delicious food. We highly recommend them for your catering needs.

They catered our recent wedding in Santa Fe at the El Rey. The food was amazing, people raved about it! We went with a taco bar, agua fresca, cake and churros. Tacos were way beyond normal tacos and the fresh veggies on the side was a nice touch. Portions were also great as we even had food leftover. Also, price point was way more reasonable than other options we looked at ($23-25 per person). The SF crew were friendly, professional and on time. My husband and I booked SFI for our wedding and they exceeded expectations. The staff leading up to the event were communicative, responsive, kind, answered questions patiently and were very generous in their help. I would absolutely recommend them for any future catering needs for my friends and family.

Had food prepared and served by them at recent conference. Not very organized for serving the first day! Neded to have set up more tables to serve more people quickly. Was a little better the 2nd day after some of us complained. Horseradish on everything the 1st day was a serious letdown! Would have been nice to know the menu before standing in line for 30 minutes. Had to get food elsewhere. 😞

We used Street Food Institute as our wedding caterer and had a fantastic experience. We loved the idea of a local and educational institute organization catering our local and intimate event. The team was very flexible and communicative in the planning process. Creating a menu was easy and they really listened to our requests and made it special. They were conscientious about having a vegetarian options and asked about dietary restrictions. It was very easy for us to accommodate any dietary requests with their extensive menu. As far as wedding catering goes - the pricing and value were very competitive and reasonable even factoring in the travel that our venue required. We chose to order passed appetizers and a plated style service. On the day of our wedding everything went wrong - as these things do- and they had car trouble as they were traveling to the venue. But the team with SFI made sure that there was a plan B right away. They coordinated everything with our best man and I did not know anything was off until the reception. The team made the most of the situation and started exactly on time despite the issue! We were so very impressed by the hard work that we saw and when we spoke to our guests later no one was the wiser that anything had gone wrong. We heard nothing but compliments on the food - it was DELICIOUS! I never thought I would knock the socks off of our guests with tacos but we definitely did! I heard great things about the hors d'oeuvres but we missed out on them while we were taking wedding photos. The team at SFI packed a box for us to enjoy after everyone left and we got to taste every part of our wedding menu. I cannot say enough about SFI - I would hire them a hundred more times and will recommend them to everyone we know!

My husband and I have been fans of SFIs food truck for many years so we hired them for our wedding in October. Attentive staff, and amazing food! I have nothing but good things to say. The grilled shrimp is perfection!
